[Carefully stepping through the lush grass the warrior noticed that Lustergaze had finished his hunt as well. He grinned to see that he had also caught a bird of some sort. ]
"That was good, i cant say i recognize what kind of pray that is. I guess im still used to seeing Nightclan pray."
[He said in a calm voice, answering his friend's question. Feeling eager to see his mate and kits again he turned and faced Stormclan with a longing look.]
"I think I will take Peachpaw back to Stormclan. Would you and your apprentice like to join us or will i be seeing you later my friend?"
[He said with a kind smile. Nodding in a farewell he turned and began to wander back towards the stromclan camp, smiling invitingly back at Peachpaw as he carried his small duck with him.]

Feaϯherɧeart beamed, she had finally been able to shut it up! Smiling, she continued] "Remember, always be sure that you are downwind of your prey. You don't want them to smell you." [She meowed quietly] "Look around at your surroundings. Prey droppings, bones. And always be sure you're not too close to the border. Here, we're safe so you don't need to worry about that one. [Dustpaw went silent, listening to his mentor as she explained about hunting. Of coarse, they had been hunting together before, but because it had been a while, going over the basics again was a good idea. However, the patchy apprentice didn't sit down like his mentor. He remained standing and picked up each paw in turn when she spoke about stepping lightly. He pawed carefully at the ground, as if testing his paws.]
[Dustpaw was also told that he had to be aware of his surroundings, such as not stepping of twigs or rustling leaves. The StormClan apprentice listened attentively, not risking missing a detail. After Featherheart's explanation, Dustpaw raised his head and sniffed the air, closing his eyes and opening his mouth to draw in the sents of the forest. His bushy tail swayed back and forth in a slow rhythmic motion. Featherheart had faith in him to do this right, he couldn't let the ginger she-warrior down.]
[His ears were pricked, listening as hard as he could. It was strange for the apprentice, it was like he could hear everything. The whisper of the breeze in the leaves of the trees far over head, the sound of Featherheart's very breathing, his own heartbeat... and the sound of a mouse chewing on a seed! Dustpaw's eyes snapped open as the sent of the prey washed over his tongue and entered his nostrils. He turned his head slowly, looking around. And there it was, a furry little brown body sitting on a tree root with it's back to Featherheart and him. It was so absorbed in it's late lunch, early dinner, that it didn't even notice the ginger warrior and her patchy apprentice.]
[Licking his lips, Dustpaw dropped into a hunter's crouch. It wasn't perfect, a little lopsided, but it would have to do. For now anyways. The apprentice forced himself to keep his quivering tail still. Filled with anticipation, he dragged himself forwards, across the forest floor. Claws unsheathed, Dustpaw got into striking range. He bunched the muscles in his hind legs and pushed off the ground, sending leaves flying as he launched through the air. At the disturbance, the mouse took off running. Too late. The StormClan apprentice landed adjacent to it, flashing out with his paw, Dustpaw pinned it down. A bite to the back of the neck dispatched the furry little creature of it's life.]
[Flattening his ears slightly, Dustpaw turned to look at Featherheart. He had sent a shower of leaves into the air, jumped short, and landed heavily, this was sure to disappoint the pretty ginger warrior. But at least he had caught the mouse, right?]

So now I'm Feaϯherɧeart Mentor to : Dustpaw ↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪[Feaϯherɧeart curled her tail around her paws. Yes, they had gone through this before, but with her apprentice's small disappearances, they hadn't trained, much less hunted, in a while. So review was good. Well, it was always good, but especially when it was needed. She watched him move his paws. Blinking, she glanced at his tail. If he wasn't careful, that would make a lot of noise. She nodded and turned her eyes back to him. There he was, listening so attentively, drinking in every word, every detail. How did she get lucky with such an apprentice? One to listen to every word, to... Well, apprentice's like this were great for your first time being a mentor. She reminded herself to thank Silverstar once they returned. Feaϯherɧeart watched his ears perk upwards as he listened. If you really tried and focused your mind, you could hear the smallest of sounds. It was absolutely amazing. She blinked happily as his eyes snapped open, so he had scented the mouse. She looked at his crouch, they would need to work on it. He looked like a badger that was having trouble keeping it's balance. Feaϯherɧeart let out a gasp as leaves were flown into the air, at that, she whipped her head to the side to see a rabbit making a run for it. Pushing off of her legs from her sitting position, she tore forward and swiftly caught the rabbit. Sighing, she padded back to Dustpaw. She set her catch down and blinked slowly] "Well... For the first time in a while..." [She began slowly, her tail lashing slowly behind her] "It was better than I thought it would be. We have to work on that crouch. You get the crouch right, and that might just fix the jump." [Feaϯherɧeart sighed and shook her head.] "When you jump, bunch your legs. You'll go much farther that way. When you land, spread out your weight. You will land much softer if you do that. Now, take that mouse and lets go." [Feaϯherɧeart meowed, bending down to pick up her rabbit] "That spray of leaves probably warned a whole whack of the prey so they won't be coming out for a while. We can go home now" [Feaϯherɧeart meowed and rested her tail on his shoulder before leading the way back to camp] (( Our Two Bits: )) ↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪↪ ═══════════════I'm waiting for the moonlight So I can find you In this perfect dream Don't think that you can Hide there in the shadows Dude your not invisible Your all that I can see═══════════════ Somethings changing deep inside All my hopes are comin' alive As we're fading into the night I can see your eyes ═══════════════ Your all that I can see And my heart slows down

"I'm sorry," Dustpaw mewed[ He picked up the mouse, ears drooping slightly. As he walked, his tail dragged through the scattered leaves. The patchy apprentice heaved a sigh and glanced back at the disaster of scattered leaves and disturbed silence. He turned his gaze forwards and padded after his mentor. Featherheart was disappointed. At least the mouse hadn't gotten away, too.]
[His paws dragged, as well as his tail. The thick fluffy fur now had a thick of leaves and twigs caught in it. Poohey, now Dustpaw had to try and groom his tail! Oh, well.]

D U S T P A W[Dustpaw clambered along the path to the Oak Tree Clearing, his paws slipping all the way and his soaking fur plastered to his freezing body. More than that, though, was the apprentice concern for his best friend's kit, Tempestkit. The eight moon old apprentice had no idea how he was supposed to take care of the kit until Thunderflight arrived.]
[Panting heavily through his teeth, Dustpaw gazed momentarily up at the stormy sky. Freezing water streamed down his fur and into his blue eyes. Sneezing sharply, the patchy apprentice slunk forwards, his belly brushing the muddy earth as carried the kit to the base of the oak tree.]
[Dustpaw crawled in among the roots, setting Tempestkit down and curling around it, licking the kit roughly, trying to keep it warm, the way his own mother had. Where was Thunderflight? What was taking the kit's mother so long? Shaking these thoughts, the apprentice that looked more like a drowned rat set his mind to caring for the kit, which he didn't have the faintest idea of how, except for what his mother and Thunderflight had done to him when he was a kit.]

Tempestkit & Larka
[Larka trudged into the clearing with the rest of Thunderflight's kits in her mouth. She spotted Dustpaw and padded over to him, setting the other kits down next to their sibling. She then let out a sigh and went to sit alone under one of the bushes. She curled her wet tail around her muddy paws and began to lick herself, trying to clean the mud off her pelt. She glanced over at Dustpaw and Thunderflight's kits. She smiled softly before returning to cleaning herself, making sure to keep her distance from the rest of the clan.]
[Tempestkit looked up at Dustpaw and then at her siblings. She had saw her mother for a few moments but then this furball took her away from her mama! The tiny kit longed to see her mother and wanted her here now! She didn't like being away from her mother, even for a short time. She glared up at Dustpaw the best she could and let out a loud cry.]
"No! I want my mama! Where's my mama! Mama!" Tempestkit cried, her green eyes searching for her mother through the pouring rain.

D U S T P A W[Dustpaw flattened his muddy ears to his skull, looking down at Tempestkit and her sibling. The kit was so bossy and fussy! Sighing, he returned to licking her.]
"Your mama's ganna be here soon," he mewed, exhaustion crashing down on him, but he forced himself to remain wide awake. "I promise."
[The cold had sunken down to his bones and made him feel immobile. What was going to happen to them now? Pressing himself closer to the kits, he licked them in turn. Thunderflight, please, hurry! He thought to himself, if only the queen would get on over here. Dustpaw looked up at the sky, feeling the cold aching his muscles and joints.]
[Shaking his head violently, Dustpaw drew back to look at the two kits. At least they were (mostly) dry. Letting out a sigh he bowed his head and closed his eyes for a heartbeat before forcing himself to return to licking the two kits.]

[Darting in and out of the shadows silently Whisperblade shot up the hill to its highest point Oak Tree Clearing and discreetly slipped into a well hidden bush. Gently he placed the two kits on the soft pile of dead leaves and licked the both of them over the head to reassure them that everything was alright. (( Larka has the kits)) His head shot up and about, using his sensitive hearing to listen for Thunderflight or any of the queens that may have followed him up here. When he heard silence he peered out from the brush, lying in wait but not daring to leave Twisterkit and Blizzardkit's side. In a silent, calm, whisper of a voice he called out for his beloved.]
"Thunderflight, are you there?"
[Silence, he shifted on his paws uneasy. He wanted badly to return and help transport the remaining kittens, but would have to wait until there was someone to stay behind and protect the kits. Meditating the night warrior tried to calm his mind.]

[I struggled against the rain towards the Oak Tree Clearing. The reason I had chosen this spot was that it was on high ground while also being less treacherous to reach. Sun's Peak had too many sharp ledges and cliffs that would prove too fatal if one attempted to cross in this weather. I heaved myself onward, feeling exhausion creep into my muscles. The scent of my mewling kittens in my nose propelled me forward, giving me a fresher, more instinctive strength and drive. StormClan warriors struggled behind me, their eyes glinting wide with fear. Finally, we reached the clearing. I was breathing heavily, water streaming down my thick coat. It was especially hard for me to maneuver in this weather because the weight of my large coat nearly doubled with the water that clung to it. My eyes danced around the gloomy clearing, spotting a familiar red cloth.] "Hisperbhade!" I choked, feeling a shocked relief hit me stronger than any wind. [I stumbled over where he took shelter underneath the thick oak's protective foilage, resting our kits down at his feet. Nodding to Larka as a signal for her to bring the other two, I pressed myself against him and licked his ear. I noticed that he wasn't as wet as the rest of us and bemused myself with the thought of him dodging the water as he ran here. In any case, I was making him wet enough for the two of us with my ridiculously watery coat.] "I'm so glad you're okay," I breathed, emotion charging my murmur with intense relief. [I breathed slowly as I watched the cats trudging up to the clearing, their eyes glittering. I reluctantly stepped back, flicking my ears.] "I have to look for shelter," I explained to him. "Take care of the kittens."
[I paused for a moment, reflecting sadly on how I always dumped the task of caring for the most precious things in my world upon his shoulders. But I was deputy, and I had a duty to my Clan. I was sure he'd understand. I dashed quickly among the clearing. The Clearing was set against a wall of rock-I hoped I could find a small cave or two, at least for the kittens. And, luckily enough, I did.] "Thank StarClan!" I breathed. [The cave was relatively small; the whole Clan could not fit inside. But it was large enough for at least half of us! And it was blessedly dry! I ran back to the others, my blue eyes glistening with relief.] "Okay, there's a cave in the back of the Clearing!!" I yowled over the sounds of the storm. "Kittens and elders go in the very back where it is driest! The medicine cats will need to store what herbs we have left with them, too. Be careful to not let the kittens get into anything. Apprentices and warriors will take shifts in the front areas. It's not big enough for the whole Clan but it's big enough to help everyone get dry. Move! Nursery & Camp[ Neonkit whimpered slightly as the water began to rise in the nursery. What was happening?! She poked tentatively at the water and slunk closer to her mother. Whatever it was, she didn't like it. As if to answer to her whimpering, she was soon picked up. Usually, the young kit would have squirmed, begging to be put down, but now? No. She didn't want to walk around in the water. She was too small to not be swept away by it.] [Neonkit let out a squeak of surprise as the rain hit her. The moment Skywisker stepped out, her ears flattened against her small head. She liked it better in the nursery. At least that water wasn't attacking her head. So, like any kit, she started to mewl in protest at the rain smacking her head.] Out of Camp[Outside of the camp, the young Neonkit swept her eyes around the forest excitedly. Her first time out of camp! It was amazing. It looked glomy, what with the rain and all, but it was still amazing to the young she-kit. But, soon the excitement wore off and was replaced with tiredness and by the time the tired Skywisker got to the Oak Tree Clearing, Neonkit had quieted down quite a bit. Her meows got quieter and quieter with each step her mother took, and, pretty soon, she was just to tired to meow any more. That, and she was cold. This rain attacking her was making her colder. The small she-kit let out a soft meow as Skywisker put her down. With tired eyes, she snuggled closer to her mother's feet to keep out of the rain. But, just as quickly as she was set down, Neonkit was picked right back up, clumsily at that. The young kit meowed in surprise as she began to bounce in her mother's jaws. She glanced at her sister and brother. Were they as uncomfortable as she was? Neonkit meowed with relief as she was set on dry ground. She was so tired and cold, that she didn't even protest as Skywisker began to rasp her tongue over her body. At that point, that was the best thing in the forest.]

She had to make sure that Skywisker and her kits were okay. Now, she knew that Skywisker had both Burrpelt and Dawnsky with her at camp, but who knew, usually, if she knew her friend. Skywisker would tell them both to go and help with the herbs or other kits or something like that. She didn't enjoy having others fuss over her. So that meant that she would have to struggle alone. Three kits! The Stormclan warrior raced through the forest, the rain making her fur cling to her. And, well, it was cold. Her pelt was already quite thin, the rain didn't help. She let out a sigh and raced into the camp.... Feaϯherɧeart skidded to a halt and looked around, poking her nose in dens to make sure that everyone was gone. Good, that meant that Skywisker made it out. Now, where was the highest spot?] "Oak Tree Clearing" [She breathed and tore out of the camp for that exact spot.] Oak Tree Clearing [Feaϯherɧeart raced through the forest, skidding around branches and jumping a few paw steps every time the thunder cracked. Really, it would look amusing so some. To anyone watching, it would look like she was running with a twitch in her legs or something.] [The pretty ginger warrior skidded to a halt in the Oak Tree Clearing and looked around. Where was her friend?! As if an answer to her question. She saw a pure white tail tip disappear into a cave in the back of the clearing. She nodded, good, her friend was safe and dry. Feaϯherɧeart looked up to see Dustpaw looking over Thunderflight's kit. Sighing, she padded up to him and meowed.] "Here" [The ginger warrior meowed and bent down to pick up Tempestkit] "You take some of Thunderflight's other kits and bring them into the cave that Thunderflight suggested" [She meowed through fur and carried the small bundle into the cave.] [Entering, she cast Skywisker a glance and padded over to a spot beside the white queen. [Larka watched as the rest of StormClan arrived and started to seek shelter in a nearby cave. Her eyes followed each cat as they approuched by the rogue made no move to go and join the others in the cave. The bush she was under was keeping her fairly dry and she didn't feel that she'd be very much wanted in the cave anyways. Might as well just stay here alone, she was used to it anyways. The white she-cat settled down on the damp ground. Her pelt still clung tightly to her body and she shivered slightly. Her head raised again and she stared toward the cave. Her stubborness told her to stay out along in the rain but her intelligent told her to suck up her pride and seek shelter in the cave. So, to her better judgement, Larka rose to her paws and padded over to the den. She silently passed by StormClan cats and settled down in the farthest, darkest corner of the den. She curled up tight, rested her head on her paws, and closed her eyes, feeling sleep overtake her.]
After Timeskip
[The sun had just risen over the horizon but Larka had already been up and about. She had sat in the shadows of the cave and watched as stormClan warriors had milled about, searching for watchever pathetic scrap of food they could find. They didn't look like a clan to Larka right now, they looked like a group of cats struggling to get by. The kits had be mewing for milk that had been on a short supply, due to the lack of food their mothers consumed. Larka herself had gone to sleep with a hungry stomach every night since she had refused to eat the trash that some warriors managed to bring back. Today, Larka had decided to finally take matters into her own paws. She hadn't had a guard on her since the flood, everyone had been too busy to take any notice to her, so Larka could have easily slipped away if she wished. However, something kept the she-cat where she was, in the shadows watching StormClan.
Now, the she-cat was returning from her morning fishing expedition. She had found it odd that no cat had suggested going down to the nearby brook to get fish, until she came to the realization that this clan could not fish. During her time as a rouge, Larka had learned various methods of finding food, including fishing. She had hated water, and fish, at first and had hunted everything else before turning to the water. But during leaf-bare, when most of the other prey was gone, Larka discovered that fishing was a good skill to learn and as the weather grew warmer she had taught herself to swim. It had proven helpful through the moons, especially now. Today had been a successful hunt and Larka was now returning to the cave, her mouth filled of her catches. She held her head high and flicked her tail happily. She felt this odd feeling of acomplishment over providing food for these cats, like she was showing she wasn't just a ordinary rouge. She could carry her own weight just fine.
As she entered the cave, her first stop was Thunderflight. She put her catches down and nudged the deputy, careful not to awake the black she-cat's kits.] "Thunderflight, it's Larka. I have a fish for you, its nice and fresh," she mewed and pushed one of the fishes toward Thunderflight. She smiled softly at the deputy and her kits before gathering the rest of her catches and padding toward Silverstar. She flicked her tail softly and came to sit in front of the StormClan leader. The white cat put her remaining catches down once again and looked up at the silver-furred leader. "Silverstar, I went out fishing early this morning, a skill I learned when I was on my own, and I brought back some prey. I've already given one to Thunderflight and I'd like you to give out the rest," she informed the leader with a nod. [Larka looked at the she-cat before her and remained silent, her eyes staring longingly at the fish. Her stomach growled as it longed to devour at least one of the delicious fish. However, the rouge knew that other cats, like the queens and apprentices, needed the food more than her. She could always go out later and get more fish, if Silverstar allowed her to and didn't put her back under guard again.]

Whisperwind Crush: Rustdawn / Personality: Sweet, Shy, Kind, Quiet / Fears: Wolves, Nighttime, Bloodspill / Clan: StormClan I KNOW THEY SAY, YOU CAN'T GO HOME AGAIN I JUST HAD TO COME BACK ONE LAST TIME THESE HANDPRINTS ON THE FRONT STEPS ARE MINE UP THOSE STAIRS IN THAT LITTLE BACK BEDROOM IS WHERE I DID MY HOMEWORK AND LEARNED TO PLAY GUITAR AND I BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW UNDER THAT LIVE OAK MY FAVIORITEDOG IS BURIED IN THE YARD The silent silvery cat laid her head on her paws, her jaw's opened in a yawn. And her eye's got used to the light. Every second counts. She looked up, lifting her head, she saw Larka. Wishpaw she thought immediantly. But shook her head, drawing such memories away from her mind. This cat was now Larka, no longer herself. A fish? She asked herself. Her stomach rumbled softly, she didn't want to take the clans food. She belonged her, she was them. But Whisperwind thought the others should eat, before herself. Whisperwind smiled softly when the sweet feline gave the fish to Thunderflight first. Such a kind gesture towards her old clanmates. Whom she had no memory of. Whisperwind shook for a second or two, her fur was still slightly wet. It was long, hard to dry, and wasn't black to absorb the heat as well. The silvery feline stood up, shook her fur, and groomed with her pink tounge. She glanced over at Thunderflight, her kittens, Larka, and Silverstar. The clan was in a bad position right now. She couldn't imagine how BreezeClan, and NightClan were doing. SeaClan was probably perfectly fine. SeaClan cats, with their sleek fur, and adjustment to cold and wet. She thought unkindly. That wasn't to nice. I was taught better than that. Whisperwind told herself. THOUGHT IF I COULD TOUCH THIS PLACE OR FEEL IT THIS BROKENNESS INSIDE ME MIGHT START HEALIN' OUT HERE IT'S LIKE I'M SOMEONE ELSE THOUGHT THAT MAYBE I COULD FIND MYSELF
