Hibiki Kirisho - Squad Nine Captain - ================================================
The gods trembled The demons flockedListening to her as she began to answer him, Hibiki was relieved that the girl at least seemed cooperative. Given her nervousness, it would seem that even if she did attack them, it was most likely an accident. However, what she said next was an utter shock to the Captain ”Do stuff to you?” he spoke, not out of misunderstanding as he certainly knew what that meant, but he could scarcely believe that his squad members would do such a thing. First off, they were cowards and they’d most likely run off the moment Emi drew her katana, but the evidence was compelling and soon enough even Hibiki had no other choice but to accept it ”Those bastards…” he trailed off, as Akane scolded Hei. He would’ve relished the thought of doing the same, but he had other matters to attend to at the moment, that being the fact that his squad members were rapists.
As Akane left, Hibiki saw him off with a nod and began to stand up. Midway during their conversation, Hei had abruptly interrupted them, and though he would usually reply to such rudeness, he decided against it as he himself was guilty as well ”I see. I apologize then, Miss Hiiragi. They’re lazy bums, but I never would’ve dreamed they would be capable of doing such heinous things.” he apologized to her before bowing, but only to her, he’d sooner die than bow to Hei ”Excuse me then, I have matters to attend to, namely finding my squad members and rebuilding my office. If you would, Miss Hiiragi, I’d like to have an interview with you once you have rested. Humans with powers are not an everyday occurrence, and it’d be to our advantage if the other Shinigami knew about this, to prevent such… accidents, from occurring again.” with that he then calmly walked away from the Ugendo, leaving Hei, Haru and Emi. But, Haru’s words suddenly caught his attention.
He was dumbstruck, to say the least. The last he checked, Elisia and Tsukiko were a married couple, and now one of them just left. Refusing to believe this, he was about to ask Haru if this was true, until Hei’s acceptance surprised him ”You’re kidding, right?” he asked him in disbelief. The man was an enigma to him; the only thing that Hibiki was certain about him was the he was power-hungry, and that he valued his family far more than anything else, even the rules of the Gotei 13. So it astounded him that he would simply let Elisia, who was Tsukiko’s wife, just walk away ”She’s Tsukiko’s wife, she’s your daughter-in-law. You can’t just let her leave, what’ll happen to Tsukiko when she finds out?” he demanded him for answers, unaware that Tsukiko had already forgotten about Elisia, and that Elisia had already written of Tsukiko as dead.

While still keeping her arms over her chest, Emi glanced at Hei through teary eyes while he stopped Hibiki from further interrogating her. He made a remark that might have offended her any other time, regarding her ability to fight these "Shinigami", but for now she really didn't mind as it seemed like he was defending her. No sense in arguing with that. Following his apology, Emi nodded sharply and kept her eyes locked on the ground, then jolted at Hei's touch. It had scared her, yet oddly comforted her at the same time... Still though, she felt unnerved by anyone other than Kuzumi touching her there, the only problem was that she really couldn't do anything about her leg. Her mini-freak out over him touching her caused her to miss a little bit of what Akane said to her, so she wasn't entirely sure what was about to go down even though she heard the tail end of his statements. Once Haru said down and introduced herself, Emi was on the verge of panicking; she was not used to being this close to so many people at once outside of school, not like this. She was still not entirely fond of people in general, and the number of people giving her close attention was rising to the point where someone was about to get a working foot in their groin. Still though, she didn't move on account of not wanting to damage her ankle further, and being unable to move her other foot. Seconds later, she nearly jumped out of her skin when he ankle got hot all by itself.
Even though she could feel the pain being relieved, it was simply too much for the girl; all this random magic in one day was a little overwhelming. The crowded situation was made even worse and, in the blink of an eye, her arm flew off her chest and she moved to slap Haru on the left cheek. Her general reflexes and the current situation made it a bit difficult to see that coming, and as soon as the strike were to connect did she yank her hand back, gasp, and turn red again. "I'm sorry!" She squeaked nervously before snapping her head in Hei's direction when he said her name. "Yes!?" She squeaked once more, fearing a terrible repercussion for her action, but was relieved when he only asked her to come in. Despite all the possible reasons to say no that were lingering in her mind, she nodded, agreeing immediately and letting her gaze shift to the clothing, then back to him. "Yes please..." She muttered softly while bringing her hand to her mouth to bite on her knuckle sheepishly. She listened to the exchange between Hibiki and Hei carefully; and it only served to confuse her more. Hibiki called Tsukiko his daughter, and this Elisia person her wife; which was confusing for her in that she had never met a real life lesbian before, it was... almost fascinating because Emiya couldn't fathom going through life without knowing a man's touch. Secondly, he spoke of her as if she was still alive, yet Hei had just said she was dead, hadn't he? He hadn't, at the very least, denied the notion. Now dozens of questions were bubbling in her mind, and she honestly didn't know what to ask first.

Hei spared Hibiki a glance through his shaggy bangs, casting him an expression bordering on being solemn. "Mmm... no... I'm not." He said in response after moving Emiya's foot and setting it down gently, and while pulling himself to his feet now that he was aware of Emiya intentions. Once standing, he wavered, almost falling over, a side effect of being tipsy, and then righted himself, but paused while opening his eyes wide for a second. "Relationship notwithstanding, she has every right. Although she's unaware of it, Tsukiko will be fine in body, but not in mind. Her, her memories of everything are gone from this world, and they're... data, not like normal. Irretrievable, in this case." Working to get some of the tension out of his body from sitting awkwardly for a short period of time, Hei kneaded his shoulder muscle, then stretched and bent down to pick up Yuki's clothes. For a second he simply looked at them as though he had forgotten what he was doing, then he took them inside, appearing outside seconds later.
"It's better for her to believe she's dead, I'm afraid, the alternative is much worse..." With gentleman-like mannerisms as best he could manage, Hei bent over and extended his hand to the young girl for her to take, waiting until she did. "Come, I can see that you have questions. I will answer them." With this, he extened his other hand, snared her by the waist and hefted her into his arms in one swift movement, a scene similar to a man preparing to carry his new bride over the threshold. Of course, he was just carrying her, there was no special implication meant to be portrayed. "Leave my estate at once, if you will."
From there, he carried the very light girl into his room and set her on the bed, making motion towards the clothes he had put on the table. "Change if you wish, I shall not look. I have no interest in such a young body anyway. Pretty as you may be, you are still a child to me. You have nothing to fear, please." Despite the rather backhanded compliment, he meant well, but as he was Hei no matter the situation, it was difficult to give compliments to begin with, so he did it in a manner befitting his true nature. "For your sake, I promise." Turning away from Emiya, he pointed to the door, shut and locked it, then spread his feet apart while he stared at the wall just inches from his face to give her an opportunity to change.

"Eh?" Was all she could muster while listening to Hei's response to Hibiki's question. So this "Tsukiko" person was alive and her memories were gone, but they were... data? What the hell was that supposed to mean? More and more questions began to swim through her mind as she reached for Hei's offered hand, but anything she was thinking of was knocked out of her head when she suddenly felt pressure around her waist and her whole body being lifted so easily. "Kya~!" She screeched in fright as she was whisked off her feet; he had grabbed her by the waist so quickly that she hadn't had the time to process it all. One second she was trying to make sense of what Hei had just said, taking his hand and getting to her feet while being careful of her ankle, and then next second she was against his chest and in his arms. Instantly her face flushed once more, and she forgot all about her see-through shirt as she clapped her hands over her mouth to keep from screaming again. She had just barely managed to take a hold of her katana and it's saya beforehand. Whether it was the fact that relations with Kuzumi were long past due or something else entirely, her body was screaming at her to do something to this gorgeous man. Although she was able to keep the urge that of her body and not what she truly wanted, she had difficulties even looking in his direction while his tight, muscular chest was pressed up against her body. Ignoring what she had previously fretted over, she kept one hand on Yuunagi and the other near her mouth while she bit on her knuckle in embarrassment and kept her head turned in the opposite direction.
It was not until she was released that she was able to think clearly, and when she took note that he wet, grungy clothes were getting Hei's bed dirty, she quickly hopped out of it while avoiding putting pressure on her ankle even though it already felt worlds better. She followed his hand as he motioned towards the clothes and then watched him turn away and lock the door. Normally she might have felt uneasy about being locked in the room, but she realized that it was probably to keep other people out, rather then barring a means of escape. Besides, he was standing between her and the door anyway, and she had consented to coming in here in the first place... After getting past his backhanded compliment and making certain he was turned away, she reached for the clothes and leafed through them until she found something she liked. While keeping an eye trained on Hei's back, she quickly stripped down to nothing and, as quickly as she could with a gimp ankle, pulled on the pants and shirt she had been given. There were underwear, but she could not bring herself to wear another woman's underwear no matter the situation, so for now she was going commando. Blushing, Emiya soflty padded the few feet across the room and pushed her wadded up clothes into his back. "Just... don't... mess up my underwear... they were.. a gift..." Remembering Kuzumi yet again, Emiya smiled softly and retreated to his bed where she sat down, pulled her knees to her chest and hugged her legs. Remembering his offer to answer her questions, she asked what was bugging her the most right now. "Tsukiko... is she alive, or dead... and what do you mean by data?" Exhaling a sigh, Emiya dropped her head onto her knees and turned to look out the window while she listened for his response.

--- Hakase Hei Jūnibantai Taichō True to his word, he did not try to look at her; as he had said, he had no interest. Really only Yuki's body did anything for him, pornographic material had some "alluring" females in them, but even then it was not the kind of stuff he liked, hence why he was going crazy over this five-day dry spell. Plus, he at least had some level of respect for females and their privacy. As soon as he felt something press into his back, he waited until she said something before turning around. Presented with her clothes, underwear right on top -black lace bra, matching lace panties-, and her request that he not ruin the underwear as they were a gift, he offered a nod to her retreating backside. They were a gift, she had said; he could see that, actually, they looked like something he would get Yuki to put on. For now, he could do nothing with the clothes and set them down in the corner as he moved to the chair next to the bed while watching her out of the corner of his eye. She then asked what he expected and for a moment he was silent, trying to determine how best to answer that question. "Hmm... She's alive, but dead. It depends on your perception, really. Do you define dead as the soul being removed from the body? I assume you might, but I don't, not here in this world at least. It's a tricky subject, full of questions I can't answer through words. I think, it's better if I... show you. Yes..." Rubbing his chin thoughtfully, he mumbled to himself while gathering the appropriate memories in the forefront of his mind, weeding out unneeded ones as he went along. Once they were organized, he put a finger to his head and spoke lowly, barely above a whisper.
"Dream Fairy, Queen Maeve. Let her draw us to her while she is opening the gate... Bakudō no Sanjusan: Kiokukanji." At his fingertip, as he pulled it away from his mind to extract a copy of the chosen memories, a cloud of deep purple energy took form, swirling in his hand as the visible representation of said thoughts. Standing up, he moved to the bed and sat down in front of her, then extended his hand slowly as if to reassure her. "It won't hurt, but it is a lot to take in." Smiling, he touched his index and middle finger to the center of his forehead, and then pumped the memories into her head, transferring them slowly so that the absorption of information was gradual and easy on her mind. This was visibly represented by the energy entering her forehead, much like it had exited his. In a nutshell, what he sent to her were her birth, though no information regarding the incestual nature of her birth, her death at four years old, her cryo-preserved body and reanimation via cybernetics, and then the destruction of her body due to Arian. Once the transfer was done --it took about five minutes-- he removed his hand and slid across the bed so that he could lean up against the wall. "She was a soul in a machine, all because I couldn't deal with my only daughter dying. Was it selfish of me? Probably, but I don't regret it. It made her mother very happy, and that's what matters." He held up two fingers, and smiling with a serene expression. "And now I have two, two girls... One's just a little baby, but she's smart, you know, really smart... She looks just like her mother too, beautiful thing..." As he let his words drift off, he leaned his head against the wall, staring at the opposite wall while his thoughts moved back to how he was going to handle putting Tsukiko into a new body.

Haru Mori Lieutenant, Fourth Division Sereitei, Soul Society
Haru's eyes shifted at Hei for a moment after he said the news about Elisia leaving. At first, he couldn't believe that Hei was being like that - that he was being so calm even after knowing that the wife of his daughter ran away, literally. For a moment, Haru's reiryoku used at the preparation of the Chiyudo fluctuated at the lack of concentration but he did manage to handle it in time. Turning back to Emiya's ankle, his thoughts were baffled by this reaction of Hei. There were no explanations that he could find on why he was being like that. "If that's what she to chose to do then..." was everything he could say when Elisia left! Haru was enraged. Haru didn't know what to yell at him but he so wanted to. He wanted to berate Hei that he was not dealing with the situation with the right gravity but...
...he knew all too well that people have different ways of dealing with problems.
Looking at Emiya, Haru thought too that even her had her own ways of dealing with problems. She kept strong for her own safety for she knows that she is in a place where she knows nothing; thus, she kept the words around her into a one big mental note-board. The Ninth Division captain, obviously, reacted more on the "normal" side; but what was "normal" to begin with? Hibiki reacted more appalled at the news and of course was shocked about Hei's reaction but he should know too that he couldn't do nothing about Hei's dealing with things. That was beyond all of them. Haru was beyond all of this...
WHACK!
"Wha...?!" Haru managed to utter in time when he just activated the Chiyudo. He gasped in shock and then turned at Emiya, who was clearly turning beet red at the sudden reflex. Haru's face was filled with a mixture of confusion, shock, and abrupt rage but he heard her swift apology at the same moment so he stopped and controlled his emotions. After a moment of struggling, he smiled and then discovered just in time that the Chiyudo was almost finished. At this time, too, Hei "snatched" her from Haru's grasps to bring her to some place. Well, Haru knew all too well that she was in good hands anyways.
Haru made one respectful bow as the two walked away. "Please do not stress her ankles yet, Hakase-sama." Haru said gently and then caressed his left cheek for a moment and then rethought of Emiya's sudden slap. Oh well... she had her own ways of dealing things, too.
Haru then turned around and then made one respectful bow at Hibiki and then began to walk away and back to the Fourth Division barracks.

Alive and dead at the same time; Emi wasn't exactly sure what to make of that, though she did have an answer for his question almost immediately. She'd been able to see the souls of the departed ever since she was little, and she'd always been told this meant they were dead, so, yes, that was what she perceived as dead. He mentioned "this world" however, so she figured maybe there were different spatial laws or something of the sort. She was really lucky in that she still had no idea that she was a soul right now, as was everyone else, which meant that Hei was referring to the "soul" of a soul instead of what she was thinking. Emi hadn't been sure she heard him right a little after the fact, show her? How was he going to do that? She tore her gaze from the window to watch him sit down in front of her; so he could show her here? They didn't have to go anywhere else? Peculiar, she thought, then chalked it up to him having a video player or something of the sort, though she thought that such a device would be out of place in here. She soon found out her thoughts were false when he muttered something about a fairy, a queen, and a gate, then touched his forehead to produce some purple colored something or other, then extended his hand before reassuring her. "Ah, what the hell... Not like I can run from the crazy magic of this place anyway..."
She thought to herself silently, shutting her eyes tight as she felt his fingers touch her forehead.and then watched as a video of his memories played inside her head. At first she was in awe, seeing the cute little baby girl moments after she was born. Her comfort was soon ripped away as she laid eyes on the now-aged child's lifeless body in someone's arms, catching glimpses of a crying woman. Still torn up about this instance, she wondered where this was going and how data had anything to do with this while she watched "herself" look into a bathroom mirror and see Hei's face before the glass shattered from a clenched fist. She heard the sound of a man sobbing, and as it went dark for her she began to understand it more and more. Flashes of the dead child's body being flash frozen, images of an etheric force being extracted from the block of ice, and watching Hei's hands move at lightning speeds as he constructed something, seeing all of this from the eyes of the memories' owner. Soon, she saw the body of a young female girl, but it was far from ordinary, it looked mechanical, cybertronic, even; like something out of a movie. Gasping, she watched a pair of hands open up a panel in the girl's back and insert a capsule into the body, before rewiring and shutting it. Moments later, she watched the body come to life, as it turned around, she saw that the female resembled the child she had seen dead, yet older somehow. And then she knew; Tsukiko had been reanimated in the body of a machine.
Frankly, she was amazed at this, mildly disgusted, and somewhat intrigued all at the same time. Momentarily, she watched several glimpses of Tsukiko's life following her reanimation, and she noted that she was a hard worker and seemed to adore her father. Lastly, the memories shifted to hearing a voice talking to Hei, telling him that Tsukiko had fallen in battle, and she then witnessed everything that happened after that like it was in real time, like she was there, like she was the one losing her mind, transforming into a beast and seeking revenge. Seconds later, everything stopped and her eyes snapped open to Hei's words. He mentioned being selfish, she agreed; he mentioned not regretting it, for the sake of the girl's mother, and it touched her heart. The conflict of emotions left her speechless, she did not know how to respond; tell him she thought it was sick of him to force her to live as a machine? No, no... she had looked happy to come back to life and did not seem to express discontent for coming back. No, she couldn't say she was disgusted, it was not the truth, Emiya... she understood. As soon as Hei stopped speaking, she said the only thing she could think of at the time; "No... it's not selfish, you did it for her, right? Part of it was for you of course, but..." Emi dropped her cheek onto her knees and looked out the window again. "I know my daddy wishes he could see mommy again. I certainly do..." Trailing off, Emi exhaled a sigh, glad to have been let in on his thoughts, and silently thinking to herself that she liked to listen to him talk about his kids, it made him seem so... normal.

1451 Hakase Hei & Hakase Tsukiko Jūnibantai (十二番隊, 12th Division) "Hm, you're one of the few people who think that, I believe..." While keeping his gaze upon the other wall, Hei contemplated what to say about her deceased mother; say he was sorry to hear it or mention she might be able to find her here. While in the middle of trying to decide, he was interrupted by Nu's voice in his head, yelling at him about Tsukiko going on a rampage. He thought she was lying since the girl was nothing but a soul in a container right now, so what Nu was saying was nigh unbelievable. Why she would lie, he did not know. Without bothering to check the Seireitei for the girl's Reiatsu, he returned to his thoughts, dismissing Nu's message while he made up his mind. "You know..." He began slowly, trying to approach this very delicately. "No, let me start off right. Given the nature of your arrival, I assume you know nothing about this place. Well, Emiya-chan, to start off this place is called the Soul Society, and the area you are in is called the Seireitei. It's city-like and more advanced than the Rukongai, which lies around us, and is where the Shinigami live. But enough about Geography. Simply put, this is the equivalent of what people might call "Heaven." As you may know, souls of the departed sometimes become Hollow, some linger around the Human World, but the rest... they come here. Most end up here anyway, unless they were malicious before death, then they get sent to Hell. The point I'm trying to make, Emi, is that there's a good chance that your mom is somewhere in the Rukongai, or even here in the Seireitei. Spiritual power usually runs through a bloodline, so there's a higher chance your mother turned up to be a Shinigami." He held up a hand to prevent any excited screaming, which he assumed was coming. "But before you get excited, please note that this place is huge, the likelihood of you finding her is rather small. Ah, maybe I shouldn't have told you to get your hopes up, I'm s-"
Interrupted by his sentence by the sudden feel of a powerful Reiatsu getting closer to this area, Hei turned his head in the direction, eyebrow quirked at the strange feeling he got from it. "... Yuki? No... " Suddenly his eyes bulged, it was Tsukiko's pattern that he was feeling; maybe there had been some truth to Nu's message after all. But how? She was supposed to be confined to the bottle and certainly not able to exert pressure of any magnitude. Hei scrambled to his feet and reached for his Zanpakutō on the table, then remembered Emi. "I'm sorry, but, this is important. Don't get up, please, you're not ready." He lied, in reality he just didn't want her outside; the feeling of this Reiatsu was ridiculous, far more powerful than anything that Tsukiko had ever exuded. Emiya might get hurt, and that would make him feel worse. He was out the door in a matter of seconds, and did not bother to allow his eyes to adjust to the sunlight as he dashed towards the source. He had no need since he knew the place like he knew his sister's body; a left turn off the bridge, across the water, and up the shore of the lake. As soon as he made it there, however, he was met with the sight of the destruction Tsukiko had caused, the struggling girl, but before that, the pressure of her gravitational Reiatsu bearing down on him. Even for Hei, gravity still worked on him and he was instantly pushed down to one knee. He managed to hold himself up before he could release his own Reiatsu and fill the air with Seigenshi to negate the effects before shutting his own off. Able to stand now, he pulled himself to his feet while a bead of sweat dripped from his brow. That had been intense, no matter how short. Looking up, he was able to see her clear as day, standing a dozen yards away, using a sword as a cane and staring at him from there. The longer he looked, the more he doubted what he was seeing, if Tsukiko had lived to be nine, this is what she would look like, he was sure of it. The facial structure, the eyes, the hair; she looked exactly like her mother at that age; there was no mistaking it, but... "Tsu-..." No, it wasn't possible. He had watched her die from sickness, frozen her body, reanimated her, and had definitely put her soul container in Yuki's room. She could have gotten out, maybe, built a new one? No, it couldn't be a new body, there hadn't been the time or the materials to make something that complex. Building a cyborg was one thing, making a soul-compatible one was an entirely different matter.
Unable to comprehend this, his mind was desperately searching for an answer while he remained rooted to the ground that he stood upon. Should he approach her? Was his mind just playing tricks on him because of grief? Was anything, today... even real? It had to have been, but maybe not. He got his answer soon enough. Tsukiko had stopped, the Reiryoku source had moved, if only a little bit, and now that she was so close, there was something standing between her and the place she knew he had been. For a moment, her heightened sense was lost, her eyesight was slowly coming back and she was no longer hypersensitive to Hei's pattern. She blinked over and over as the image before her focused. Blue sky, green grass, a crystal clear lake full of wildlife, and amisdt it all, her father. Why had it felt like ages since she had seen him, was it the fear? She couldn't really tell, he mind seemed dull. While her eyes focused, she kept them trained on him, making out the barely visible image of his frame and long, dark hair. She stumbled forward, finally sure it was her father and not someone else, and, abandoning her weapon, she sprinted the gap between the two of them and tackled him into the shallow waters of the lakes edge as tears streamed down her face. Hei was more than taken aback and snapped out of his trance in time to catch her as he tumbled backwards. He watched her through his altered eyes, muscles, bones, ligaments, the works; it really was her.
"Daddy!" She cried out, feeling like she had not seen him in ages. the scent hit her, the familiar scent of her house and her father poured into her nose, proving to ease her. Nonetheless, she grabbed his robes in her tiny hands, curling her fingers around the fabric as she buried her face in his chest. "I was so scared!" Watching his daughter bawling in his arms, he did the only thing he could have done, he hugged her, overjoyed that she was somehow back to normal. It was really all he ever wanted for her, for her to be normal again. "It's okay, it's going to be okay sweetheart. Shh..." Propping himself up to hold her a bit easier, Hei moved onto his elbows, then in a seating position. He was still in the water, but he didn't even notice. While striking her long, wheat-colored hair, he calmly talked her down out of whatever she was scared of, and once he heard the familiar erratic exhalation of breath typically attributed to someone no longer crying, he kissed the top of her head. "All better. Now, sweetheart, this is... a bit much for me... I, you were..." He stopped short, looking into to the child's wavering eyes filled with confusion and relief, and decided against saying anything. Questions would come later. Finally, he hefted himself onto his feet, a difficult task by all means seeing as he had a 90 pound child in his arms and no support but the water and sand beneath him. As he stood, Tsukiko wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled herself into a more desireable postion, which eventually led to his hand being free. Moments later, he had carried her back into the small hut after retrieving the sword, and had sat her on the edge of his bed near Emiya. Tsukiko rubbed her eyes with her knuckles and then looked up to Emiya with a curious expression. "Who're you?" She asked, sniffling the rest of her crying spell away. Hei now had his back turned towards them, lingering over the sink with a pot in hand, preparing tea for the three of them.

Emi couldn't help but tilt her head to his response; in all, it made her think that many people knew about it already and most gave him flak for it. At first impression, it didn't seem like he deserved treatment like that, he seemed like a loving father and husband. While thinking about how she reminded him of Kuzumi in certain, boyish charm sort of way, she was snapped out of her thoughts to watch him look odd for a moment like he was listening to himself think. Emi thought it was a little odd, but shrugged it off as he dove into a lesson on the place they were in. She honestly felt like she was in class, tempted to doze off right there, and even wavered in and out of listen. At least, up until the point he mentioned her mother; at that point he had her undivided attention, as evident by how she put her hands on the bed next to her butt and leaned forward. Her mother was here and... a Shinigami? Emi was on the verge of jumping out of her skin with excitement, imagine, being able to see her mother after all this time, but was shot down when he said it was unlikely that she could be found. Then he was up, feeling what she felt seconds later due to not being as spiritually attuned as he. She watched him curiously until she felt it just the same, now her thoughts were divided between his actions and her mother's whereabouts. Heeding his words, not out of a sense of actually wanting to obey, but because her ankle still hurt, she sat tight, hugging her legs once more. "Hmph... I thought this was a military, shouldn't they have a database of members or something?" Idling herself with thought and getting so deep into them, Emi almost screamed when Hei suddenly opened the door and walked in. She managed to control herself and quirk an eyebrow at the child seated at her feet, as well as the fact that the back of Hei's yukata was soaking wet, as well as his hair. Her attention went back to the child when she asked Emi who she was. "Emiya, Hiiragi Emiya." She replied with a polite smile. "And you are?" With the new guest, it seemed her questions about her mother would have to wait.

桜木 " Nu" Mitsuru Naohito [二番隊] 「人は...大切な何かを守りたいと思った時に本当に強くなれるものなんです」 From her end, she had no idea if Hei would heed her words, but at least he will be somewhat forewarned. At the very least, he couldn't ignore her for very long anyway. From then on, it was relatively easy to follow Tsukiko. Easy enough that the girl seemed to be going in a straight line, but it wasn't as though, in her current state, many people could ignore her. Even as Mitsuru watched, she seemed to comply ignore other routes and chose the simplest way to get to Hei; straight. Not only did this cause noticeable attention to be drawn upon herself, but anything and everything around her was being crushed, which only caused Mitsuru to bark out orders to the general populace as some sort of excuse.
Eventually, and with some strained effort to continue to follow, she made it to the Ugendō, just as Tsukiko made contact with Hei, tackling the lanky man in the shallow water. At least now, with contact with her target, she wasn't crushing anything anymore. She let the two have their moment, they deserved it considering their history. As the two left back inside, she made her way to the entryway, not really knowing whether she should intrude on this moment between father and daughter. Still, despite how touching the moment is, it is still true that Tsukiko caused some considerable damage on her way over here and while Hei could most likely pay for the damages, she still had to reassure herself that Tsukiko would be under control now, so she simply knocked twice before entering.
The first thing she spotted was the girl, who was even more noticeable then Tsukiko. She herself had to take advantage of a rampaging Tsukiko to find a excuse to enter Hei's grounds and now some child made it here? More noticeable then the fact that she was a teenager was the greater importance that she was a human in Soul Society. A human is in Soul Society, her brain connecting this girl with the intruder Eriko was talking about. She looked hardly threatening, even more so since she was injured slightly, on a bed with Tsukiko at her feet, with Hei making them....tea.Her mind snapped back to the man, Hei. "Oi......Hei? What's.......going on?" Initially she planned to sound furious, but with such a out of place scene laid before her, her anger was replaced with curiosity and bewilderment.

899 Hakase Hei & Hakase Tsukiko Jūnibantai (十二番隊, 12th Division) Upon hearing Emiya's name, Tsukiko visibly struggled with how to say it, made obvious by the fact that she had folded her tongue over her upper lip and was staring at her fingers while counting syllables in her head. For the moment, she was pretty much a regular nine-year-old in that her mental processes were stilled dulled from the transfer. It would be a little while until everything was normal again, and until then, she was flighty, prone to making loud noises, and had the attention span of a cat. "Em... Emi... Hiirya... Hemi,... Horagi Emiri!" Still struggling with getting it right, the child tested the waters verbally by sounded out syllables she had remembered, as well as syllables she had concocted to replace half of the real ones. Eventually she settled on "Horagi Emiri," and expressed it happily as though she thought she was right. "Hm!" Smiling, Tsukiko turned back forward, dropping her rear hard onto the bed and began to hum to herself while watching her father's back. Occasionally, however, he gaze began to wander around the room until it found him again and stopped for a few seconds. Hei, who could obviously hear every word, was shaking his head at her response, mostly in amusement, though partly in curiosity as to just what could reduce her to such a mental state. The girl was even less attentive than her nine-month old sister, something he didn't think was possible. "Sweetheart, the nice young lady asked you your name. Don't you think you should tell her what it is?" Hei, in the middle of still making their tea, was messing with the limited kitchenware as he waited for the water to finish.
as if remembering what she had forgotten, Tsukiko slapped the bottom of her fist in her open left hand as her mouth dropped open, although in reality her memory was so limited that she couldn't even remember that she had forgotten it and was instead playing along to avoid being punished. "Tsukiko!" She said happily, turning to the girl and tossing her stubby arms up into the air. As soon as she had done so did her eyes bug at the sound of Nu knocking on the door and entering. The abruptness of it all, along with the timing, served to scare her out of her wits and cause her to jump up and back, and fall on the floor at the foot of the bed. Dazed and confused, the child had landed on the backs of her shoulders with the rest of her body tucked over her torso so that her toes were touching the ground near her head. "The cat's in the cradle with the silver spoon~" She began nonsensically, almost like she was drunk, while Hei looked towards the door to see Nu filling the doorway with her frame and most notably, not carrying Senka with her. Quickly, he wiped his hands on the dish towel by the sink and began moving towards her, his disposition changing to imposing. "The question is, I think, is what you're doing here without my daughter."
"The little boy blue and the man in the moon~" Tsukiko continued her song, speaking the lyrics as Hei had it out with Nu, sometimes even drowing him out by the elevation in her pitch.,
"I asked you to look after her, not set her aside when you damn well feel like it."
"When you coming home, son don't know when~"
"Now, if you want any of this to be your business, then find my daughter, and bring her back promptly." He said this while poking at her chest, just between her lovelies upon her sternum, and applying pressure to force her out of the doorway and back onto the bridge.
"But we'll get together then, dad~"
Unable to ignore the nonsensical ramblings of his eldest child any longer, Hei pushed against the female's sternum once more before looking in Tsukiko's direction. Upon seeing her sitting in an awkward pose, having hit her head --an event that he had missed due to being more focused on Senka not being there-- he shook his head at the girl and moved next to her, crouching down and lowering his arms to his knees. "Did you enjoy that? I hope so, dear." Silently shaking his head again, Hei grabbed the girl by the closest thigh and flipped her body over so she was lying fully on her back, and not just her shoulders. As she hit the ground with a thud, she made an odd sort of groan, one that is normally associated with dizziness. The room was spinning for her, and as she looked at the shifting wood of the ceiling and her three father's hovering over, she began to mumble, mostly to herself and a little above a whisper. "Stop the ride, I wanna get off~" Hei moved a hand to his head and gave his temple a scratch, throughly perplexed as to what had made her this way. To see her in such a state was both amusing and worrisome. "You'll be fine." He said reassuringly even though he doubted she was even processing what others where saying at the time. Seconds later, he scooped her up off the floor and set her back on the bed, this time between Emiya and the wall so she wouldn't go falling off again.

桜木 " Nu" Mitsuru Naohito [二番隊] 「人は...大切な何かを守りたいと思った時に本当に強くなれるものなんです」 Nu would have been much more angered by Hei's sudden return to his usual self, if not for the fact that he was finally returning to his usual self. So instead of arguing, Nu simply took the brunt of his words, sensing a bittersweet nostalgic taste to it, and was promptly "led" out, with the commands to bring back Senka, an order she was somewhat saddened to comply with. On one hand, it was fair, justifiable, and every right was his to see his daughter, but Nu had grown somewhat attached to the innocent child. Days of crying, feeding, and playing with Senka had practically forced the Captain to love the little bundle of energy, and it wouldn't be quite hard as it is.....saddening to give the girl back, though she could always visit the little girl.
The trip back to her quarters were mostly uneventful. Most of the new damage was being tended to, and luckily, most of the buildings destroyed were vacant to begin with, leaving casualties to a minimum. Still, the pressure crushed most of the hard-work back to the ground, and her barracks had a large line of where Tsukiko passed by, though it seemed her office wasn't destroyed, which was good for her. So it was easy enough to explain the circumstances to Eriko and Lee, who were still alive, much to her relief. Once her explaining was done, she proceeded to scoop up Senka in her arms, holding her firmly in between her arms as she made her way back, her speed unhindered now by stalking Tsukiko.
Soon enough, she arrived back to the bridge of the Ugendo, taking consideration of Senka being with her had slowed her some, but not by too much, the baby finding it fit to sleep through the whole trip anyway, only now beginning to wake up. "Oi, Senka, wake up sleepyhead~ Daddy and Tsukiko want to see you~" In her absence, it didn't seem like all that much has changed, but Nu still had no idea what was going on. So the first thing she did was hand over Senka to Hei, deciding to reside herself to the nearest corner as she waited for him to speak, her curiosity returning. "Okay, again. What is going on? One of the first things she wished to know was how Tsukiko, once the calm and collected robot girl, was now reduced to this rather charming, but childish girl. True enough, it was splendid and good for Hei to have this miracle, but in all honesty, despite this new one's adorable-ness, she preferred the other version. She destroyed less.

415 [Ugendō]
If hearing the girl shout her own name proudly didn't startle the teenager, Nu's abrupt entrance and Tsukiko's subsequent tumble onto the floor certainly did. Darting her eyes from the newcomer to the end of the bed, Emi clasped her hand over her mouth and scrambled towards the edge of the bed, taking care not to hurt her ankle despite the fact that it felt fine now. Emi poked her head over the edge of the bed to see Tsukiko in her landing pose which admittedly looked pretty funny. "Are you... okay?" Regrettably, she missed Hei's and Nu's conversation because she was solely focused on Tsukiko. As she watched the child singing like she was drunk out of her mind, it took Hei's head being shoved into her range of her vision to realize he was near. Immediately she backed off, sitting up while she stared at the receding Nu's back and the closing door. Her mind flashed to what she had overlooked due to Tsukiko's tumble. "Tsukiko? But, I thought she was married, she's too young to be married. No, I watched her physical body get destroyed and.. from the sounds of things she was not remade yet."
But here the girl was. Was it another Tsukiko? No, Hei had called her "sweetheart" and it couldn't be his other daughter because this one wasn't a baby. Emi was snapped out her thinking when Hei's form moved in front of her to set the dazed girl in between her and the wall. A wise choice, apparently, the girl seemed far too twitchy to kept in an open place. Apparently she was designated the honorary place-holder. What seemed like minutes later, Nu returned, holding a baby in her arms. Then she said her daddy and Tsukiko wanted to see her, so Emi assumed that must be the other daughter Hei was talking about. Staring at the baby in her arms, she noticed that she had said "daddy" instead of "your father" and was the one taking care of the baby instead of Hei. She could only assume this girl was the mother. Without thinking, she blurted out what she was thinking immediately after hearing her speak for the first time. "Ma'am, you look awfully shapely for a woman who just gave birth. I understand my mother was terribly out of shape following my birth, what's your secret?" She would, eventually, have a child too and was curious as to how one could get fit so quickly.

桜木 " Nu" Mitsuru Naohito [二番隊] 「人は...大切な何かを守りたいと思った時に本当に強くなれるものなんです」 It seems her serious talk with Hei would have to be put on hold, as this girl couldn't help but blurt something. Something so far off baal that Nu failed to fully realize what she said as she was talking. "Now look here human, you just......wait? WHAT?!" Her voice rose to dangerously high levels, so much so that Senka started to stir about angrily and forced Nu to rock the cranky baby back into a calmer state. Once Senka was back settled, her attention was directed back into this girl, her embrassment reflected in her face and its increasingly higher shades of red.
"N-now look here human! I am not this girl's mother, nor did I give birth to this girl, so please don't rush into such conclusions!" While she was highly embrassed over this entire incident, some part of her was actually a bit flattered that she was mistaken for a mother. While she felt nothing for Hei besides respect with a twinge of distatse that was gradually getting smaller since caring for his child, there was no doubt that, once in the rare moon he wasn't scowling, he was honestly handsome for someone of his age. Her mind drifting from Hei to her usual Lee fantasies which now involved children, her attention snapped back and she realized where she was, and who she should be questioning.
"S-so Hei!" Carefully handing his beloved daughter back to the man, her eyes expressed seriousness while her face was still flushed. " Why is there a human here? And why is Tsukiko acting like this? More importantly, why is she human?!"

579 With Nu out of his hair and his eldest tucked away, Hei had returned to the pot of tea that was still on. Tsukiko, in the meantime, had seemingly recovered from her fall and had sat up, staring Emiya down with the intensity of a thousand suns. In truth, she really had no reason for doing so, but there was never a point nine-year olds needed a reason to do anything. After a while, the child, titled and rolled her head towards her father, yawning while she pestered him with an inane statement that would be redundant to anyone else. "Daddy... I'm sleepy..." It was the kind of pointless statement that only a child could make without someone looking at them funny, simply because an adult would just go to sleep. Tsukiko, on the otherhand, was still "daddy's little girl" and seemed to think it appropriate to tell him everything. Hei had gone through it a while ago, back when she was still in her youngest body, and way back whenever Yuki tuned into a child and decided that as her brother, Hei should know anything and everything; what she thought about the clouds and when she wanted to sleep were not things she kept to herself. Thus, he was quite capable of being patient in that area, and without turning around, nodded to acknowledge her, and then responded calmly. "Why don't you take a nap then, and when you get up, I'll have something for you to eat. How does that sound?" He paused, waiting for that yawn that he knew was coming, and as soon as he heard it, he smiled and shook his head at her expense. " 'Kay... g'night daddy..."
Yawning again, Tsukiko curled up against Emiya, putting her head into her lap and was knocked out in ten seconds flat, her breathing quickly becoming steady and constant. Hei was just finishing the tea when Nu returned carrying Senka, and once again he wiped his hands on the dishtowel, then moved to take the infant from Nu. He stopped short, however, when Emiya insinuated that Nu was the girl's mother, the statement making him curl his upper lip in disgust. He swirled his head in her direction, and while Nu was busy yelling at Emiya, Hei was quickly debunking her belief with easily provable reason. "Nonsense, I would never have a child with this woman. She's not even close to my type, and for another thing, my daughter looks nothing like her." As they spoke, their voices layered over one another, constantly interfering with one another. As soon as Nu was done calming the infant, Hei protectively took her back from the woman and put her head to his shoulder, occasionally jiggling the infant with a slightup and down movement of his body. Again, Nu asked him about everything, and though he hadn't technically promised to tell Nu anything, he did anyway for reasons unknown even to him. "Tsukiko is like this, because she's a child. As for Emiya-chan, she tells me that she wandered her all on her own through the Dangai, likely the result of someone's poor Senkaimon security. Then she got here and was almost sexually assaulted by someone, met with one of the female Captains, assume Akiyama at this point, then made her way here. Or so she says; I have no reason not to believe her, but I can't prove anything she says. Not... not without the use of drugs anyway."Hakase Hei & Hakase Tsukiko Jūnibantai (十二番隊, 12th Division)
