Shiny Gligar Lady Psycho Sexy I met my favorite author Kenneth Oppel when I was 13. I was at the Erin Mills Writers' Festival to receive a prize in a poetry contest, and as I was leaving, I stopped to buy Sunwing. The lady asked me if I had enjoyed my day, and I said yeah, but I had been hoping to meet the guy who had written the book I was buying, since I had heard he'd be here. It was almost too perfect: she smiled and said "Oh yeah? Turn around." and there he was.
He signed Silverwing and Sunwing and told me he had been there when they'd read out my poem. He HEARD my poem. And he LIKED it. God I don't think I've ever been redder. That was the day I started seriously writing.

I haven't met anyone. >.> I have seen a lot of famous people, like, Nelly Furtado, Avril Lavigne, Paramore and No Doubt. Kinda, and at their concerts, but Nelly got closer cause it was this outside concert.
Ffuu, I know I should have tried to at least see Brad Pitt when he was in Edmonton.They were here for like, a couple weeks or something.

I think I have only met one famous person and I've seen a few like Dwight Howard and people in concerts. But when I was a kid, I met a wrestler, the Big Show, and got his autograph.

Yeah. :U I kinda just wanna at least see some people in the flesh before they died. I mean, I thought I had time to meet Brittany Murphy, and that panned out well. :C So, seeing is enough for me now. [/stalker]

Well, I do remember the time I met a news reporter one evening, who was covering a story on a hit-n-run accident of some sort...
But more importantly, there was time I met Charles Martinet at Nintendo World, during the SMG2 launch event. Truly a high note for yours truly. That's essentially one of my life's goals out of the way.

Ummmm. Jim Gaffigan after one of his stand up shows. Evidently my buddy Luke, Jim, and I all have similar senses of humor because we got each other going and wasted like 10 minutes just joking around.
Also Albert Pujols. I am not personally a fan, but my cousin Shaun almost s**t his pants.

This one time I ran into some guy on a walkabout and we smoked a joint and I gave him a b*****b behind the dorm and then I found out later he was running in my riding for the Communist party, lol.
Scott Gilbert or something. I've Googled him, but it's a pretty common name. If you find one with long brown hair and glasses, he's the guy.

I met a NASCAR driver when I was little. Bobby Labonte. He was good when I met him. =/
And my uncle is the editor for Guitar Player magazine if that counts for anything.

I remember meeting David Gallagher, that one actor from 7th Heaven, when I was a kid.
He was at the local convention center meeting fans and giving autographs and my parents took me. Now keep in mind, I was probably no more than 6 or 7 years old at the time and I didn't give a ******** about 7th Heaven. So when I met him, I didn't see him as this bishie actor, I just saw him as another random ******** person living, ********, eating, and wandering around in the world.

Speaking of wrestling, I've met Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Chris Jericho, but the latter was a book signing so I guess that doesnt count lol Nice guys, the former being fairly nice for a guy who beats his wife.
