So I was sitting here thinking about, how, in two weeks, I will be driving to Miami to meet my favorite author, Scott Westerfeld.
And it got me thinking: What if he's a jerk? What if he doesn't do autographs, (aka, it's not a book signing, just a meet) What if... I dunno.
My dad met Bruce Willis once, and he was a HUGE a*****e, and I just don't want that to happen. emo
But here's what I was thinking. Have you ever met someone famous? How was it? Were they what you though? Who was it? etc etc,

I was in the same room with Jason Robert Brown one time, who's a huge song-writer in Musical Theatre these days. He's kind of an a*****e...
I've also been within 3 feet of Aziz Ansari and Jessie Eisenburg, though I didn't get to actually Meet meet them....I was an extra for the movie "30 Minutes or Less" over the summer, I got to sit almost right next to them on the Bus! lol. And they were walkin' around all day, and I probably came close to them at those points as well. Aziz is funny, but he tended to keep to himself. Don't blame him, all that running back and forth he was doing...I wouldn't wanna talk to Extras either. haha!

I met my favorite author Kenneth Oppel when I was 13. I was at the Erin Mills Writers' Festival to receive a prize in a poetry contest, and as I was leaving, I stopped to buy Sunwing. The lady asked me if I had enjoyed my day, and I said yeah, but I had been hoping to meet the guy who had written the book I was buying, since I had heard he'd be here. It was almost too perfect: she smiled and said "Oh yeah? Turn around." and there he was.
He signed Silverwing and Sunwing and told me he had been there when they'd read out my poem. He HEARD my poem. And he LIKED it. God I don't think I've ever been redder. That was the day I started seriously writing.

Lies and slander. There must have been a reason Bruce Willis was an a*****e. :< Haaate this thread.
I haven't met anyone. >.> I have seen a lot of famous people, like, Nelly Furtado, Avril Lavigne, Paramore and No Doubt. Kinda, and at their concerts, but Nelly got closer cause it was this outside concert.
Ffuu, I know I should have tried to at least see Brad Pitt when he was in Edmonton. They were here for like, a couple weeks or something.

I got to talk with one of the members of Anberlin, but they're not that famous/mainstream so that's not that impressive.
So no, not really. Maybe once that I don't remember.
