Dulce Periculum is not exactly... sane... She is a loving character, and she is sweet and gentle and cares for just about anything that looks at her the right way. The thing is, she lapses into insanity rather easily. For example, she will step into danger, believing that with her mind alone, or perhaps her nice words and polite inquiries, she will be perfectly fine, and the danger will cease before it actually gets to her. What has lead to this belief, is a series of lucky events throughout her early childhood, but also the lack of that little voice inside one's head that tells one not to do something. In truth, she has a voice in her head that is louder than that one, that tells her TO do things, such as jumping off a cliff into water, or jump into the path of a moving stampede. Sometimes, she will be caught seemingly talking to herself, when she is actually talking to that very voice. Generally, they converse inside of her head, but sometimes it gets away from her and the conversation (at least on her end), turns vocal.
Her name is suiting, as danger is what this second voice in her mind (and potentially her other personality) finds exhilerating, and in a way sweet. But when not in a state of talking to herself, or taking up this other dangerous side, she really is a gentle soul. She merely forgets what she is doing sometimes in lieu of one of her mental onsets.
She will gladly travel with her father, happily explore new lands, new places, new environments. She loves to learn, and discover new things, such as plants and animals that are only able to live in a single area or environment. She will probably wander off every once in a while for a few weeks at a time, and return to her father to tell of her newest finds and friendships.

Dulce Periculum had a good foalhood, even though her mother was no where to be found. Her father, Khajag, took very good care of her and her sisters, raising them fairly and with kindness and lots of love. She grew particularly close to him, and even now checks in with him every so often even if it's just to say hi, and to make sure that he's faring well too.
However, there has always been something wrong with Dulce, though not always apparent. Her bouts of crazy come about with the bright shining of her left blue eye. Internally, these bout are also caused by a voice inside of her head, essentially a second personality within her. This emerged even as a young foal, pushing her into many a dangerous situation where she could well have died. But being lucky as she is, she's made it thusfar, and will probably continue to do so for quite some time.
Upon hitting adulthood she began traveling on her own, going new places and seeing new things, mainly curious about things that only exist in specific places/biomes/areas.
Recently, she has met a stallion named Kenji. He is also a traveler and adventurer, and he also dives right into a situation and believes himself to be invulnerable, quite similarly to Dulce when she is in a bout of crazy. Their first interaction almost evolved into a fight, but then calmed into a more or less normal conversation.

Doom!

Doom is a brawler, strong both in body and heart. Some days are harder on him than others, but he does his best to keep Dulce in check. So long as she is taking care of herself, he's got an easy day's work.
Doom doesn't care too much for conversation, so he spends most of his time brawling or practicing other fighting tactics. Shouldering trees and boulders both make for a decent workout, sometimes he works on swimming, sometimes other made-up practices.
He met Dulce during one of her... bouts... One moment he was knocking a tree over and the next he was being headbutt out of nowhere! He took a liking to the mare, though, and from there began their growing friendship. Overtime he will become her folcrum, he will keep her grounded.
