My first year, we had to play this REDICULOUS(ack!) THREE-PAGE BARNEY SONG... the entire orchestra had a private page-burning afterwards, if you catch my drift..

I am sorry, but I have to say you all obviously haven't seen bad music.
The Spinning Song Oh my gosh, it goes on forever and ever, about people who WEAVE CLOTHES.

The worst song I have ever had to play in band is by far Livin On a Prayer by Bon Jovi. I love that song so much when I can sing it but when you play the tenor sax for that song it sucks. I play a totally of like 4 notes over and over again. I play A A E G, for the whole frickin song.

there are only two songs i've ever played/sung that i absolutely hated. sure, there were quite a few that i thought were stupid, but i didn't mind them... but these two were TERRIBLE
i performed one in jazz band. it was so terrible that i have erased the name and melody from my memory forever.
the other was sung in choir. unfortunately, i'll never forget the name. i've done my best to forget the melody, but some of it is still there.
it's "The Twelve Groovy Days of Christmas" by Greg Gilpin. oh how i loathe that abomination of a song. not only did we have to sing it, we had to dance to it. 70's style. disco point, turns, twists and all that disco dancing nonsense. i hated it so much that after the performance, i yelled out how glad i was that "i'll never have to sing that f***ing song ever again!!" and about how i wanted the song to "be thrown into a never-ending fire so that no one will ever have the displeasure of singing or hearing it ever again"

last year we played bio rhythms in orchestra. the first violins played 4 measures pitzicato (idk how to spell it, plucking) throughout the entire 3 page piece. there was more clapping in the piece than actual music.
