Mine is a three way tie. For the next concert. It's Red, Red, Rose, Go 'Way From My Window, and Cantate Domino. I hate them all!

okay, the worst song i've ever played in band is "northridge overture" It truely sucks!!! my stand buddie robbie + i call it the crap song. we wrote "crap song" all over our piece and our director made us erace it and gave us a lecture on how it's not nice to criticize other people's "works of art" watch some band play the song. it's not that they suck, it's the piece.. http://youtube.com/watch?v=_6UuOFZVZ64 the worst song i've ever sang in choir is "coming home" it's supposted to sound pretty, but it's soooo LAME!! cant find a clip of it at the moment.....

Hmm...my worst song I had to play is a tie between Kansas City, and Hot to Trot. Kansas City sucked because I can't play blues very well, and Hot to Trot was just too hard so I ended up making up my entire part.

Update on the song I hate most: Batti Batti, o Bel Masetto. It means Beat me, beat me, dear Masetto. I'm supposed to sing it happily. How do you do that?!

Honestly, there was way too many songs I hated in Choir this past year. Although I'm pretty sure Farewell, My love takes the cake. It was A Capella and theres a tone deaf girl in my choir. And only 4 other altos. You could hear the off-keyness in a few parts of the song where just Soprano and Alto were singing.

Blue Opening.
See, our BD decided that even though our Jazz band was half freshmen, and the other half new to Jazz Band, we should still be able to play senior-level music. Needless to say, it didn't work out so well--but he still made us play it for the concert. gonk

In orchestra we had to play 'The Waltzing Cat' by Leroy Anderson. I felt like burning the music after the first time. Along with everyone else except for our conductor.

The Overture to the Marriage of Figaro. We were in 5th/6th grade and our conductors killed us over it. 4/5 years later, we still remember the intro. I think we all wanted to shred and burn the music scores. Ahhhh, elementary district orchestra...
oh, and Round Dance. how simple can it get, yet we play it 50 million times. -.-

play_with_fingerpaint In orchestra we had to play 'TIhe Waltzing Cat' by Leroy Anderson. I felt like burning the music after the first time. Along with everyone else except for our conductor. I know the feeling, in our Orchestra we played Gershwins "Cuban Overture" Everyone HATED it except the conductor. I actually quoted that I wanted to burn the copies.
