[ ] Well, bandos see each other most of the summer, during school in band class, and in after-school bands. You have more time to get to know other band kids. [ ]

When you spend time with people as much as you do your band, they become more of a family than just friends. You get close to them, and trust them. Sometimes crushes start to form with people in band, because you find it easy to find things you have n common. You get to where you miss them when you're apart, just like you would your own family. You worry when they're hurt, you cry when they leave forever crying . You grow stronger bonds with people who are more like you, and then that's when it starts. You begin to like them, their laugh, thier smile. Sometimes even the same gender. You look at their picture all night and rip your hair out, because you're confused. Sometimes they feel the same way. Either way, personally, I think that most of the time, relationships in band are stronger than other.

Because you play the same music and march the same drill, so you can both have problems, and complain about people. And you see them more hours a day than your family (even in high school band) And band kids are naturally charming and loverly

i think there are so many band relationships because all of us in band have many things in common, and we're around eachother all the time.
i am actually currently dating someone who is not in band, and i have to admit that i was a little weird and difficult at first because he just doesn't understand what i'm talking about sometimes like someone in band would haha.

They're around each other a lot and that's what brings people close to each other. You begin to wonder... is it just a deep friendship or something more? Sometimes they wonder the same thing too and then everything just kinda falls into place. Being around people you have that much in common with, all the time, it's bound to make at least a few couples.
But since I'm not in band anymore it's easier to be with someone who isn't in band, because I don't do those events I used to look forward to so much. (My sweetheart is in choir though so that's still music)

I have a couple reasons.
1) Most male band geeks play the piano. Most female band geeks are hot for piano players.
2) Girls Love Musicians.
3) We have common interests
4) People say that similar taste in music is a huge ting in relationships....Most Band geeks just love music in general...
5) We see eachother a lot.
6)Band teaches us to work together and in unison...which probably strengthens our bonds with eachother in some odd magical way.... (this one is just a slight theory I've developed)
That's why we love eachother.

Band loves happen all the time probably because of what everyone else says. We spend so much time together with the same interests and we end up liking each other than we had originally planned.
Something I've noticed though, is that a lot of times it ends up that a woodwind person dates a brass person. Its really weird how that works out. theres been several examples of that at my school.
its even the same with me. the guy I like plays baritone and I play sax. neutral

I dunno, stockholm syndrome, maybe?or maybe its the fact that while you are in band (marching band particularly), it would be near impossible to date someone NOT in band. Band takes up most, if not all of your free time, and you could never hang out with your bf or gf outside of school hours, and the outsider would never really understand your band jokes or really get the band rivalries, or anything like that. I should know, band happened to my relationship (not that I regret it), and now it doesn't exist anymore.
