I think it's also because if you're in band with someone, then that means you have some of the same interests. So it's easier to hang out with everyone, which then breeds crushes. xp

Also you can relate to them better than the guys/girls outside of band.
You can rant with them about how bad the festival was, how horrible the football team is compared to you, and agree that your director is insane for attempting to run people over with the tractor...
Or maybe that's just us... rofl

I don't know about you guys, but I'd find it hard to love anyone outside of band. Band kids are so devoted and talented. And it's hard to get non-band kids to understand why we love band so much. For me, if anyone can't understand my band obsession, I'd have a hard time dating them.

You get to spend more time together..without your parents jumping in saying it's wrong, or you need to do this...it's you being yourself..Most of the time. ^-^ It just happens.
