(( Re: Screwing up the story
Takahashi is making Inuyasha up as she goes. Thus, it began to suck. I've decided to re-review the entire story and then pick the part where it began to suck most and count the part right before that as the end. mad
Re: Fanfics
I write fanfic only when Im in the mood. If I aint in the mood, I have to force it, and where's that get fun? sad

(( Talking about the manga; the anime ended in 2004. The manga on the other hand is like an Austin Powers flunkey, it won't die. It's working on a healthy volume 47 right now. domokun Stopped being interesting around volume 36 (which coincidentally is where the anime ended.) Everything else has been just garbage piled on top of garbage.
Like the most recent chapter, Naraku's body split open and created a portal into some abyssmal... other dimension. Or something. This is after Inuyasha raped the hell out of Tessaiga, adding so many extra powers onto it that it isn't even the same bloody sword anymore. evil
I was really fed up with it, which is why I gave up on it last year. I still like the earlier parts though. And Movie 3. Movie 3 wins internets. heart
@Tali-niisan: Indeed. One of the most important Commandments an author must abide by, and she wiped her rear end with it. *breakdances* ))

((I personally loooooove the Rurouni Kenshin manga...never got to see past the point after the Anji/Sanoske fight in the Kyoto Saga thing....so I never knew the end or outcome. But I'm just waiting for the last manga to come out this July, so I'll be very happy. x3

(( *dances right off the stage and runs into wall* Yipe!
Yeah, I can't do that. (Avoid manga/anime.) If I watch/read something and have access to its counterpart, I have to partake of that as well. I usually end up disappointed in one of them and stick to the one I like.
The problem with Inuyasha is that the manga is chock-full of canon goodness, whereas the anime has tons of filler and altered facts, but the anime actually stops at a certain point and doesn't contain all the random garbage of the manga.
It's give and take with that POS. sad
It's been so long since I read Kenshin.... I don't even remember half of it! sweatdrop I do remember liking it tho'.... biggrin ))

<<HLY SHT!!
Hmm...it appears Jade's stamina has gave out on her.
Oh and I don't avoid counterparts. I just tend to wait until later to get into them. For instance Naruto, Real Bout High School, Saiyuki (a little)....that's actually probably about it.
I'll get to whichever counterparts later on, I just feel content (hopefully) that I know the general story, so can wait to see what was done differently later.
