Efflo stared blankly as Gabriel laughed. The sound of it was enough to knock him out of his tirade but he clearly didn't think the situation was all that funny. He huffed, sighing heavily as he slumped down next to the other boil.
"You really are an idiot," he said quietly, shaking his head. "And I'm Efflo."

One last bark of laughter escaped Gabby when Efflo called him an idiot one more time. But at least he gave up his name, and that was enough for now. Gabby raised his left arm, let it rest over his own body for support, and held his fist out pointed towards the boil. "It's nice to meet you, Efflo. Maybe next time we have a fight, let's not make out quite so much." Gabby gave the others around them a side glance. Yeah. He knew you guys were being nosy. He saw you there. Get back to work.

Efflo stared at Gabby’s fist. Was he going to punch him? Bright green eyes turned to the dragon, confusion apparent.
Then Gabby was talking and the words that came out weren’t insulting or particularly mean, causing even more bewilderment on Efflo’s part. Of course, reminding him of what transpired earlier made the undead flush red. The poor boil was so confused and embarrassed and very, very concerned about the fact that he wasn’t sure he’d actually disliked the kiss. Maybe he should do it again, just to get an accurate- nope, nope, NOPE! He shook his head as though to rid his mind of those rampant thoughts but the ponyboy only ended up looking even more flustered.
“You probably shouldn’t move, you’re hurt you know,” he chided, in an attempt to ignore the subject. He knew he still ached with pain and he could only imagine what Gabby was feeling. Turning his attention from the dragon, he followed Gabby’s gaze towards the others, wishing his emotions weren't quite so transparent.

Micail stood at the ready as Andrew summoned his fire. He kept his eyes on the shadowling, looking for any movement toward them. Of course his attention turned back toward Andrew when he felt intense heat. Being a hellhound, the heat didn't bother him but it was still noticeable. When he glanced back, he couldn't help but gape at all the fire he had summoned. Now THAT was a fireball. That's exactly what they needed to do some major damage. Smiling he turned back to the shadowling. "Now he's in for it!" He watched as Andrew threw the fireball right at it. Direct hit! Micail grinned as he watched eagerly to see what damage had been done. When the smoke cleared the thing was still standing! A fireball that big and it was still standing! Just what was this thing! "You have got to be kidding me... its still alive!" Of course Micail only had moments to lift his keybalde as the shockwave headed his way. "Ohhh I have a feeling this is going to hurt..." When the shockwave hit, it hit hard. Micail struggled to try and stay on his feet. He held his keyblade tight and out in front of him, hoping that it would cut through the shock wave. It didn't go that way at all. With in seconds he was thrown backwards a good few feet. He landed hard on his side and went rolling a few times before he was stopped by a wall. He let out a groan.

He lost his warrior. Oh Jack he lost his warrior and he had attracted some unwanted attention. Oh Jack he was in trouble.
The shadowling swung at him and he jumped using those pathetic looking wings for the first time in battle. Some odd magic coursed though him as he avoided the damage that he really should have taken and he throw another large fireball at the thing.
Normally he didn't spare any sympathy for dogs at all, but the hell hound had helped him more than a little... that looked like it hurt. "Don't die. No one is allowed to die because I say so." not even dogs.

Gabby's weak grin faltered, and then disappeared. "Are you seriously going to leave me hanging?" He muttered, letting his arm relax against his body while his other arm, the one closer to Efflo, reached out and wrapped fingers around the boils wrist. He lifted Efflo's arm, and moved his hand over the fingers until he was holding Efflo's hand in a fist. Then he brought it up to his own, and bumped it. Because it was really important that he was not left hanging - Gabby very rarely extended actions of friendship. If it was rebuffed now.. he'd probably never do it again.
Once the deed was done, he let both his hands fall and sighed sharply. "You're pretty useless." That was his favorite new word for Efflo, even if it didn't sound as much like an insult as it had before.
But the fact was, people were still fighting, and getting hurt, and even though it felt like he couldn't move, he tried. "Hurt or not, we can't just-" A hiss left him when he tried to sit back up, and his back went rigid as he plopped back down on the ground. Now who's useless, Gabby?

The other shadowlings had gone down with relative ease, but this one...were they even trying?! There were students arguing and kissing and fawning and this was far worse than the 'suds operas' that humans enjoyed.
Argyle retched at how inept they were.
"Oh for Candlejack's sake--" he spat, and began stomping around the room to tap some of them on the head with his excessively glowing keyblade.

Junko was smacked with yet another keyblade, except this time not her own. What the hell?!
Maple was very inclined to follow what Andrew had told her, to stay back and to stay low. Because just giving up was a very Maple thing to do, let the others handle it since they were doing a much better job at it anyways.
She could see the flame boil just lay it on the large shadow creature, because well he wasn't her and he didn't seem to fail. Still, she grabbed for her keyblade that had somehow fallen out of her hands and attempted to channel her FEAR into it once more. This time, upon herself to heal those wounds.
There was a small bit of magic - 'cause of course she couldn't get a big dose. And she felt a lot worse after. Hello floor, you were very comfy.

The boss was large and well, seemed to be after him. Andrew tossed another couple fireballs at it, feeling really exhausted.
While jumping up seemed like a good idea at the time, being in the air left him very vulnerable and wide open to the next shock wave. The force was enough for him to loose his control and he was sent flying into a wall. His body crumpled to the ground in a heap and he wasn't moving any time soon.

As the tale of Gabby and the glowing green student whose name was still unknown's story unfolded before him, Thackery had been in a bit of a daze, watching them with a slight smile and his chin in his hands. Their scarelings would be listening to this story a few years from now, he bet, and it would be the sweetest story, and--
The DETH liason's pass around the room involved shoving his chair to the side. He fell like a sack of puppies to the floor with a sharp whimper, frantically trying to right himself and catch up on what was happening.
"Um, uuuhhh....go hit it!" he urged, tapping Damien with his keyblade.

Efflo’s expression was quizzical, why was Gabby’s hand on his and why did he looked so perturbed….
“Ooh,” Efflo replied, light-blub flicking on in his head as his he was led through the motion. “Fist bump.” He smiled at the dragon for a moment before he realized that Gabby was practically holding his hand. His eyes widened, the glowing blush creeping back up. He was very grateful when the other boil quickly let go, instinctively pulling his arms in against himself.
“I’m not…” Efflo sighed, trying to muster up enough irritation to come up with a good retort but it was kind of true. His shoulders sagged, he had enough strength for one more attack but here he was, cowering next to Gabby. It seemed the dragon had similar thoughts and Efflo watched as the other boil tried to right himself. And when the action was performed rather uselessly, Efflo let out a snort of laughter.
He clasped his hands to his mouth, looking mortified. Unlike the other boil, Efflo didn’t try to be intentionally rude. Not really. He just didn’t think things through. Or have any control over his emotions. It was a problem.
He hastily leaned over to help prop Gabby up, using himself as a support. “I think you’re done,” he said, sheepishly thinking of his own condition. Efflo still had enough strength for one more attack but he knew he probably wouldn’t last through it. And he was pretty convinced that the minute he left the other boil, he’d be crawling back towards the boss. What, no, he definitely wasn’t concerned, not at all!
