As agents of chaos started to arrived, as if summoned, it seemed the true nature of things was revealed. As far as she could tell they had been betray, as had Caedus it seemed, as general kings and queens turned up and the queen herself. Whipping around to Caer Sidi and shook her head. "I can as well, use your sheild if we need it - save it for now. I don't want you to wear yourself out this early one." She would handle the sheilding if it was needed, and only as it was needed, she was not about to wear herself out when thigns were just starting.
"Hyperborea....I can give energy, when I transcended. If you need energy in order to do anything and you'er too drained - I got you." She was willing to do whatever was needed in this case. Normally she didn't like the idea of giving energy to others, she wasn't the most trusting, and it was to her a rather intimate thing to give her energy up to someone else. She couldn't bring Hypoerbiorea back to full energy, that was even beyond her, but she could help in recovering energy so Hyperborea could do more for longer.
"We need to get out of here...we've been betray." Looking to the alien with their group. "As Caer said, we'll keep you safe." If this one was innocent, as many seemed to be, she would do her best to keep them safe. But it seemed some sort of deal had been struck and she didn't like that, she didn't like that something shady and under the table had transpiered. "Caedus seems as lost as we are on this. I don't like it Hyperborea...." Looking at their little group. "We need to work together and get out of here, as Hyperborea said. We need to live to fight another day...or they win." If no one was left than the Negaverse won. They needed to survive in order to continue the fight.
"Do we go for a generator while we make our escape?" Wanting to know what everyone thought before they acted. It was best they work together and have a plan.

Cadet Nessaela HP: 50 HP Action: on the move to D6. generator attack. Damage 3 + 8 = 11 dmg Location: C5 to D6
Taking one last long look at Itztenoch, Nessaela almost felt compelled to stay with her comrade. He looked so pained by the decision that she and Eso had made to choose their earth allies instead of their own people. But when treason was detected at the top of the ladder - did it not all just trickle down into the lower rank and file? Nessaela only hoped that her bold declaration would prove to her new allies on Earth that she could be trusted. Yet something pulled at her heart and mind even as she moved to follow Oberon's instructions. She would provide support and maybe even a little bit of offense if needed to at least cause some massive headaches for the Negaverse. As she moved closer to the group around the generator that was being set upon by Order Nessaela caught sight of one of the Vanguardian Commanders. It was Cydfae. She was following Lyndin's orders. But why?
Nessaela inched closer to the large mixed grouping before creeping closer to the generator. Her dagger would hopefully provide adequate damage to the machine. She only hoped that her arrival would go unnoticed.
He honestly wasn't worried about this, they had this, he knew they weren't going to lose this battle. Whatever was going on, whatever back stabbing was happening, he was sure it would help secure them the victory here. He knew something was going on, he wasn't deaf nor stupid, something was happening with these aliens and their leaders it seemed. Had the low ranked aliens not been told something, something he himself didn't even know? It certainly seemed like it, since they weren't to harm or kill the aliens unless they absolutely had to. Well, that was fine by him really.
He would much rather deal with the senshi and knights and remove them. He was sure they'd find out the truth later on, when all was said and done, at least those in on the secrets prior to tonight would find out.
As a senshi, and someone else, came rushing towards the generator the General moved to avoid their magical attack but in return he lashed out with the bladed end of his weapon. "You really should know better than to attack something we're protecting. It might end with your death." They might be an eternal but he didn't much care. They would though, he'd make sure they cared. Eyeing the others around his generator he looked to Noctua, his little protege. One of those who still remained at his side and was loyal. "Noctua, be a dear and remind the senshi and knights jof just why coming up against us is a terribly dangerous idea." He knew he could trust her, he knew she enjoyed her job. "Just don't leave the area, I want this generator safe." And there were too many order members around here for his comfort.
"Arseno, let's clear the area." With long ranged weapons it might not be so hard a thing to do.

Did I get everyone in the square?
Magic: Wherever Benitoite's spear cuts/slashes/stabs it will leave a very cold or chilly sensation that will last for five seconds before fading/warming up. If the other player wants lingering feelings they can go for it.
Also, I think I did this all right. Let me know if I messed up. it's 1:30 in the morning.

Cadet Gavaen HP: 50HP Action: walking up to Caedus. Damage --- Location: D4
Remember your people, Gavaen. Remember everyone back home. Remember Velenia. That's where your heart belongs.
Gavaen had to tear away his gaze from Fae-fae and their silent exchange.
But was it where he belonged? He had never been the paragon of Venician society. The people of Earth were so open and earnest with who they were and how they felt, sharing it with one another in ways good and bad. Sure, Earth wasn't perfect, but neither was Valyncia.
Neither were their leaders. He just couldn't understand - How did the Commodore know so assuredly that the Negaverse hadn't come to hurt them? They had all had strict orders not to interact with Chaos - had this been due to Lyndin's own plans? Had Lyndin not wanted them to ruin everything he'd planned? Because clearly their King hadn't been aware of this, Gavaen felt sure it was all the Commodore. But they weren't supposed to think - weren't supposed to have their own feelings, just trust and obey. Things would have been so much easier if he could just do that. But the Vanguardian had too much of a heart, too much of a sense of self and individualism. He'd never fit in. Never would. He realized he was trying so hard to be accepted, but it meant nothing if it wasn't for being exactly who he was.
Many on Valencia had not seemed to fully accept their king, just as Gavaen, deep down, had always felt that they'd never accept him. It was because of that, upon Cadeus' return home, he felt warmly towards him; a kinship, despite a sad deficit in interaction. Gavaen was simply too starstruck. Perhaps that feeling of kinship helped Gavaen's wavering resolve sway in favor of their king.
He looked up, hoping to catch eyes with Caedus in a silent plea, what was right? He wanted to go up to him, but the Commodore was there too.
Like all of them, he'd admired Commodore Lyndin. Always so confident, so calm. He was the paragon of Valencian society. A society that rejected who Gaven was, and now one that Gavaen felt all too distant from - falling ever further away, much like his steadfast belief in the Commodore.
Gavaen took one step, then another. How could he fear the Commodore when he no longer felt paralyzed by admiration of him? Another step, then another, until Gavaen was by King Caedus' side.
Super Sailor Monoceros, Senshi of Porcupines HP: 75 Action: Sprinting to b4 and launching quills at the generator Damage 10 + second stage 5 + dmg magic 2 + article of strength 1 = 18 Location: C5->B4
Monoceros growled under his breath. He knew it. He'd known there was something off about Lyndin and his aliens, and yet. Shaking it off (he needed to focus, needed to get to the generators, they had to kill the damn things), he moved with his group, yelling as they charged.
"Quill Flash!"
When any of the bad guys got on his a**, he'd make sure he was close to the generator before he let loose with a burst instead, but for now, a ranged attack was best.
Quote:
A burst of porcupine quills flies from Sailor Monoceros's hand, which can cause shallow scratches and/or minor puncture wounds. Any attempt to remove the quills before they vanish will cause sharp, pinpointed pain in the area; however, they don't sink in much deeper than skin-level. A user can choose to have this attack cause permanent damage or the injury will fade when the magic expires. This attack will last 20 seconds and can be used three times per battle.
Character name, rank, and a link to their journal:Transcendent Eternal Sailor Kerberos HP: 100 Action: Attacking Ochre Damage 2 + 7 + 3 = 12 Location: E2
Of all the ways Kerberos had suspected that things could go wrong, he had not accounted for a betrayal.
It was Lyndin's reactions. The way he set himself, how he wouldn't look at Caedus. It made Kerberos feel cold, like he'd been dunked into a frozen river. And then, it made him angry.
There were other people rushing to Caedus's aid, and he intended to join them--but for now, there was Ganymede, and the Pages, and--
And Cybele, running for Laurelite.
"Be careful!" He shouted after her, but they, too, were under attack, and so he whirled on the Corrupt that had targeted Ganymede. He would hold his Eternal magic--but his Super would do just fine.
"Asphodel's Regret!"
He blew flower petals at the Corrupt, and hoped that the the grief and regret might slow him down, just a little bit.
Quote:
Sailor Kerberos cups his hands in front of his face and says the name of his attack, then blows. Asphodel petals fly out of his hands towards one target within eight feet of him. The target begins to feel a deeper, stronger regret, as well as a feeling of clinging hopelessness, though the apparent "reason" will vary from person to person, and may be something they wouldn't normally regret at all. The effect is the same no matter the target's rank. This effect lasts for 30 seconds. Sailor Kerberos can use this twice per battle.
Amsvartnir, Squire of Cosmos HP: 75 Action: Attacking Ochre/Buffing Himself Damage 3 + 5 + 5 (magic) + 1 (article of strength) = 14 Location: E3->E2
Amsvartnir shook his head as he was left alone. The Negaverse attacking like this... Such a scale... Was disheartening. He didn't want to think this way, but the thought still blipped across his mind that perhaps he'd defected at the wrong time. He growled under his breath at himself, looking around at the sudden battlefield.
He spotted Ganymede across the way and suddenly he was filled with rage. Someone was attacking her, the lovely princess that saved him, and maybe she had more than enough help by her side, but he wasn't going to stand by. Not when she was up against an Eternal.
He charged forward, screaming and swinging his cane, channeling his magic as he did so. The stars exploded forth, covering half their little area in a shower of them.
Quote:
As he whips his cane in circles around himself, a shower of stars spews from it in a ten foot radius. The stars give a light burning sensation to those affected by Chaos, while infusing gentle warmth into those affected by Order. While the magic is being channeled, the burning sensation may feel like stinging, or a bad sunburn, but Chaos players can choose if the stars cause real or lasting burn damage. This magic can be channeled for 35 seconds.
Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Caer Sidi, Squire of Cosmos Action: Checking in with teammates; pressing the group to move to B2 Damage: N/A Location: C2
This was....this was so much worse than what Caer Sidi had feared. She'd expected that perhaps they might underestimate their foes and get a bit overwhelmed--but the way that Lyndin was behaving, the way the Negas went straight for the generator...the color drained out of her face.
She gave Delphi a sharp nod.
"I expect we'll all be backing each other up," she agreed. "And splitting the burdens of protection." She was doing her best not to make her panic too obvious, but she was, truth be told, afraid.
She scanned the battlefied. They were all close to one of the generators, and her eyes narrowed at it.
"....We need to destroy those. If the Negaverse is protecting them, I have no doubt that their intentions are nefarious. And I don't think...." She looked down at the Oathmark on her hand, and cast a gaze about at all the people there.
"I don't think I can run away without violating my Oath," she admitted.
But she was soft, when she turned to Lixian.
"Are you with us, then?" She asked. "I won't ask you to fight your fellows, or your leaders. We can cover you, if needed." She looked around at hr team, to confirm they all agreed. Even if they didn't, Caer would do it herself.
Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Sailor Guinevere of Obsession HP: 50 - 5 = 45 Action: Attacking Kamacite! Damage: 9 + 3 + 2 = 14 Location: B6
Guinevere did not have time to shield herself. She cried out in pain, wincing away from the too-bright light and throwing up an arm--but all that did was make her feel like she was burning, and she stumbled backwards.
Fire. Light. A monster made of flame.
This--this was the overwhelming power of the Negaverse.
For the first time in a long time, Guinevere felt fear. But still, this was--this was just a youma and a Super Senshi, they would--they had to be--there were so many more of them, they would be fine, she had to believe that.
Her magic wouldn't damage the generator, and she didn't have anything like Morgan's skirts to throw--and plus, she was still blinking spots out of her vision, and could only really see blobs.
At least the Corrupt was a very colorful blob.
"Hey! Sparkles!" She barked. "Haunting Obsession!" She blew the Senshi a kiss, and hoped that her aim was true and that he had something to start obsessing over.
Quote:
Guinevere speaks the name of her attack and winks, then blows a kiss at one target. The target becomes obsessed with something - a person, a place, a thing, a plot hole in their favorite show, anything at all. Thoughts of whatever the thing is haunt them for the duration of the attack, becoming more distracting as the attack wears on. This effect lasts for 30 seconds. Guinevere can cast this spell three times per battle.
Sailor Hati of the Cu-Sith HP: 50 Action: Moving and attacking "youma" Faustite Damage 3 + 3 + 2 = 8 Location: B5 -> B6
Hati appreciated the cheek kiss from his girlfriend, but he didn't have time to say more than "hi" to his sister before everything went absolutely batshit insane very quickly.
"Son of a b***h!" he snarled, running forward after his sister to the generator site, staring down the youma and his super senshi, "Those betraying little—Moor Stalk!"
He prayed it worked.
Quote:
A deafening silence settles over everyone within a ten foot radius. Shortly after the silence falls, a single, deep bark echoes through the area, and suddenly every enemy within the radius feels like they are being watched by a large, dangerous creature. The silence can be disorienting; no matter how loud anything is, while the magic is in effect they cannot hear anything but the bark--and maybe the sound of something heavy breathing just behind them. Paranoia, anxiety and fear for the invisible thread are prominent for the duration of the magic, and may persist for longer if the player desires. This attack affects all enemies within ten feet and lasts for twenty five seconds; it can be used three time per battle.
Character name, rank, and a link to their journal:Super Sailor Asmodeus HP: 75 Action: Moving to B6, fireballing the generator Damage 8 + 5 + 3 = 16 Location: B6
Ah. Good. It was, indeed, all going to s**t--and the generator nearest them now featured a lightshow and a firestorm. Asmodeus couldn't tell if this meant she was in her element or utterly out of it.
Still, there were no questions as to what she would do.
"Right behind you, Skoll!" Asmodeus declared, and she charged ahead, aiming for the generator. If the Negaverse was defending them, they had to go. And she'd save a fireball or two for their enemies, as well. She had to get nice and close, sure, but that was fine with her. Besides, she had Hati and Skoll, and there were already others nearby launching their attacks.
"Avernian Eruption!" She struck her arm like a match, and flame leapt forward.
Quote:
Sailor Asmodeus speaks the name of her attack and extends one arm towards a target within six feet, touching the fingers of the other to the inside of her elbow. She sweeps her hand forward, and a burst of flames flies from her hand. It explodes into a fireball with a radius of 8 feet, and enemies caught in it will experience the pain of second-degree burns for 30 seconds, with actual damage to exposed skin possible at player discretion. Asmodeus can use this spell twice per battle.
Læraðr growled deep in the back of his throat at the sudden reveal. Of course. Of ******** course. He'd known the whole damn time something was off about these rotten aliens and their leaders—draining energy for good, hah! No. He was just angry he'd allowed his distrust to be put aside since the people above him in rank were going along with it instead of killing Caedus and Lyndin on the ******** spot. Trust like this should never have been handed out, and now they were sitting ducks to all be slaughtered by the Negaverse because of some ridiculous plea by a bunch of traitorous aliens to get their planet fixed. Of course it was all a goddamned lie!
He turned to Lixian, eyes burning, but then Caer Sidi said something about protecting him and—right. Her Oath.
"The only reason I'm not putting you on your a** right now," he said to Lixian, "Is because I like Caer and her Oath demands she protect you. I don't trust you as far as a mouse could throw you."
Character name, rank, and a link to their journal: Aokigahara, Transcendent Squire of Saturn HP: 75 Action: Moving to E6, attacking Lopezite Damage: 3 + 5 + 5 = 13 Location: E6 -> D6
Aokigahara inclined his head to Minkowski. "Aokigahara, and this is Yomi-no-Kuni." He introduced both of them, in the moments before everything went bad.
"And yes, I would consider Anser a friend." He flashed her a brief smile, but it faded just as quickly. The awful, distorted crush of Chaos auras made his stomach drop.
There were so many of them.
Hell.
"Anser is right," he said. "My magic works best on people, so." He smiled, a bit ruefully. "The officers it is, I think."
A terrible idea, but a worthwhile one, he thought. There was a tangle of magic already being thrown--and there was a General with a massive sword, and a Captain with a war-pick, and Aokigara made the split-second decision to move in on the General.
As he did, he called upon his magic, and prayed that even with everything more than a bit of a mess, it worked as he was used to
Quote:
Aokigahara Squire holds up his lantern, and the flame inside becomes brighter, bathing a six foot radius around him in an eerie purple light. Anyone within the radius, including Aokigahara himself, will hallucinate gruesome ghostly shapes - essentially ghosts that look like they died VERY violently- grabbing on them and trying to get their attention, and hear the sound of ghostly voices begging for help. These pleas will generally be nonspecific - "help me, help me please!" or "avenge me!" or the like, but it is generally fairly unsettling, though exact reactions are up to the player. Aokigahara can channel for up to 30 seconds at this stage.
