A strange turn of events had to keep occurring, didn't it? For one moment, up in the air that seemed that everything was going to be quite chill. Heck, even he forgot his own way when it had come to his morals. It was the master traits of a guy with memory issues. Something that the teacher had brought up into The Fray. All too busy was trying to get everything under control, it was not until he had heard his name, had Narkys attention hand began to shift. His flying being affected on top of things did not help matters whatsoever. With his dissension, it was like falling from out of the fire and right into an oven. The oven was a metaphor between Narx as a Target, the teacher bringing up that there was a lot of heat trailing after him, and the fact he was a pacifist almost going down for the kill, to speak.
Further down at the Young Dragon Boy gone, and the look on the opponent's face below smiling up towards them, had him remember that violence was not the answer. Despite the fact the smile was not towards him at all, the out of context of it all was enough to have the impact of your smile hit'em. " what am I doing!?" Narky had went into guilt mode, sheathing his weapons. A foolish thing to do, given he also had an opponent above he had forgot about. Things for looking to be another close encounter, but just what was going on below exactly? Before Danae could make contact with him, or he can make contact with Narx, the tail end of the wind dust had knocked him off course from either direction. Such a surprise it was, that he had no way of getting any bearings on just what was happening. Oh! Just what was happening!? With the fortunate wind effects popping up, sending chaos under the field itself, Narky had been sent flying away, avoiding her diving attack, only to be clumsily landing 10 feet away from the group into the sand! What luck! " I made it! But where is Miss Pyrve!?" Unsure where she was, or what was happening now, due to all the sand flying in the air causing a huge screen to block everyone's vision, his priority change to wanting to find his team leader. She couldn't have gone very far! But where could he go to try and find her? He couldn't see a thing now! Who knew where anybody was at this point. The plus side at least was that he wasn't within the worst of the dust cloud. It was still a little too thick however just see who was who and where. First thing was first though. Bringing his weapon back to the brass knuckle form, the double handed weapon returning after changing it back, freeing his hands from the shackles of The Gauntlet form. Until he could find her oh, he had to be careful. It was why, Narky had used the range of his distance from the thickest of the flying sand to his advantage, tumbling off to go find his leader, once he got up on his feet. He couldn't fly for the moment, resting his wings, so using his two feet it was! The darkness was not his enemy! He was used to trailing blind in the dark for things!

Danaë would find herself knocked off course as well. As she looked up, she saw sand and wind blowing. The aura around her wings would disappear as her semblance for that level would end. She would close her eyes. Listening to everything that was around her. This environment was perfect for her. She would start moving, going by sound rather than vision. She would hear Narx's team mate asking for Narx to heal her fighting partner. Not on her watch. That was an enemy that was downed, and while she hated hurting Narx in any way, she would have to make him lose this battle. She already knew how she was going to take him out. The teacher didn't mention one of his weaknesses. The fact that Danaë knew this, and was going to use it against him was Despicable. At least it was better than what her partner was trying to do to him.
She would start to place her daggers back on herself. Instead, she would take out Nightkiss and Hatred's Bite. The ugly, crooked daggers would be out, the blades still their blue and red color. She knew her aura was lowered, she could feel herself moving more slowly. She would go to where she heard Aeralin. At this point, she was listening for breathing. Keeping her own tight to her chest. Her silent feathers moved with the wind in the air. Her steps were silent, even in this arena. Once heard the voices clearer, she would open her Citrine eyes, Being able to see the entire field. She would then go behind Aeralin, and stab into her back, with Nightkiss. In the darkness of the arena now, she would whisper. "His healing isn't something you want to use if you want to win this fight."
Once her whispered words were said, she would pull her dagger from the spot she had stabbed, and then would back off about 30 ft.

Narx was fortunately very stable in the air due to his weapon's weight. This allowed him to do a double summersault roll and pop right back up on his feet. One of the few advantages of being heavy.
Aoi was there, it felt like a duel with the intensity of focus. She was definitely wanting to get an attack in on him but he could see that she was nimble. Something he knew he couldn't handle if she played him just right. Making a move would be his mistake. She'd likely dodge it. This put him in a standstill where he simply took steps to the side, circling her. Looking for an opening. If her weakness was vision, well that didn't help much unless he went big with a windblast.
Narx heard Aeralin call him from the distance, but what she said made no sense. It sounded like she wanted him to heal her opponent?! Narx kept his eyes on Aoi the whole time but responded. "After the match maybe, but I am sort of locked down with Aoi, besides, we got to defeat these guys if we wanna look good to the teach!"
Now that the fight had evolved into a series of duels he was at a major disadvantage. Aoi and him were in a situation where the first to make a move would lose. "Time to pull out the big guns I guess..." If Aoi had dodged his last sped up attack, there was no hammer attack that could hit her without trickery.
Narx's muscles tightened as he gripped his hammer he raised it up and activated it's special move. One third of the hammer's stored aura would be expended and he slammed down. Mid slam, he'd move his right hand to his belt, to his hilt. This would send out a blast so strong that the sand would pick up and feel like a mega sandstorm to those in the blast range. Impossible for Aoi to dodge since it was so large, except he didn't aim for Aoi, he instead slammed it down facing all other players, including his partner Aeralin. Anyone in the air would be knocked out of the sky and sent flying in an uncontrollable tumble. Fortunately sand would catch their falls. The sand that was picked up would create cover for those who could use it, though most would have sand in their eyes and need to recover. Unfortunately he had his back turned to Aoi to do this.

The young woman was actually fine. Given a few moments, she poked her head out of the sand and started to breath and cough up sand. She blew it out of her nose and took off her school jacket. Using her clean sleeve, she started to wipe the sand from her eyes. Getting up, she wiped her hands on her skirt. Untucking her shirt, she finished cleaning her nose and face. She just needed to fine her pride down there. She never was really hurt. She was sure Narky was looking for her but he was the last person on her mind. There was no anger in her, there was no sadness in her, she was damn sure not upset, it was just her pride was bruised a little bit. That is why she was talking all that crap in her head about being defeated and not wanting to get up. She was embarrassed.
Now, with her feelings in check, and her face as clean as she was going to get it, she made an attempt to open her eyes. They stung a little bit, but she had them open. After a few blinks and a few more wipes, she was able to see a bit. Picking up her axe and shield, there was no expression on her face. Sticking her axe into the sand, she rolled up her sleeves, and yanked it back out the ground. The sand storm was starting to clear and she was back on her feet ready to fight. She wasn't going to attack first because she didn't want it to look like anger or retaliation.

☠ 𝙋𝒐𝒔𝒕 𝘾𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒕 ✗ 105 ░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░░ ☠ 𝑪𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏 ✗ text x ☠ 𝙎𝒆𝒎𝒃𝒍𝒂𝒏𝒄𝒆 ✗ text ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The shrouding sands would finally clear, and give Sinn sight of the arena below. Things had seemed to have gone contrary to what he had been hearing; first and foremost was the loud yell be Aeralin for Narx to heal Pyrve which when Sinn heard it he had wondered what happened. Before the mini sand storms Pyrve had been holding her ground and seemed to have the advantage in many ways; he had been disappointed in her to have lost after such a lead. But now, with sands clear for the moment, he could see Pyrve standing up and re-arming herself. 'Was it a fake?' he wondered slightly to himself. She seemed to be equipping her own weapon now too; when she had previously had Aeralin's. 'Was one disruption enough to turn the battle back to how it was at the start?' he wondered silently. He had been impressed by Pyrve's opening, but it remained to her for if she could actually finish the fight. A good start meant nothing in a battle if you didn't press the advantage and end it in your favor. He hoped, even without speaking it, such thoughts would motivate her to do better before the class ended. He would catch something though; it seemed that, where the flyers were fighting at one point, the one known as Danae had snuck off towards Aeralin and Pyrve and had seemed to go for an attack on her. One that had surprisingly succeeded given the layout of things; though such a hit would charge up Aeralin's semblance by a lot, maybe enough to activate it. And with the close proximity it took for the hit, Aeralin could easily turn around and go after Danae to keep the fight in close quarters if she wanted. Which meant the private duel may've just had a third member come in after interrupting it; it would definitely make the fight more interesting and more of a melee. 'Will it be a true free for all, or more tag teaming?' Sinn wondered silently as his gaze went to the rest of the battlefield.
Narkyena, for the first time since the battle started, seemed to have been given a reprieve as he was on his own. He could see the trio in the distance and the duo behind him; free to join whatever fight he wanted to. He would notice, just from proximity, that things were heating up with Narx and Aoib though; enough to have a better chance of avoiding what was to come. Sinn was a bit impressed with the pacifist Narkyena being able to survive the targeting and not get eliminated; it would be a lie to say Sinn expected him to last this long. He hoped though that it would encourage the young dragon to go on the offensive again; to embrace combat. It seems that, despite the propulsion Narx got, Aoi was one step ahead and was able to avoid the hit. It was a match of speed and nimbleness versus raw strength, or so it seemed to Sinn at the very least. As Narx seemed to power up a big attack to Aoib, he would change direction and instead send it in the direction of everyone else; keeping a hand on his katana as well. 'Only time will tell if you should've focused your own opponent rather than endanger your teammate...but if the attack works, it would do a lot of damage and may be worth the risk,' Sinn thought to himself. It seems he was destined to not see well here as it would kick up sand yet again (this sand screen will only last for half a post, as its all being directed in one direction). But that left him with two targets though. Getting two baseballs, he would have one for Narx and one for Aoib respectively. This time, rather than going for the effect of shrouding them in sand, this was more a direct effect; the dust this time was an ice dust ball to narx, and a lightning dust one to Aoib and would only affect them if it impacted them (small dust). If the ice dust hit, it would encase part of Narx's body (his choice) till broken. If the lightning dust hit, it would shock and severely slow Aoib's movement for a post. Narx and Aoib, roll a d100. Need a 51 or higher not to get hit. Aoib rolls with a -10 due to it being dark out. Narky, Danae, Aeralin, and Pyrve have Narx's large aura blast headed their way. It is more a knockback wave, though if caught in it it can slam you into the arena wall. Roll a d100, needing 51 or higher to avoid it/ resist it's effects. Aeralin has a +10 due to her strength talent. Danae has a -10 due to her weakness in strength. The roll is because its a wide area of effect so with proximity of group you're likely to be affected by it in some way, even if its not the main blast zone.

Aoibheann was focused entirely on the biggest threat to her on the field, especially as he wound up and prepared a huge swing, but, he was attacking everyone else instead?! Just him?! It gave her an opening, sure, but, if he could launch an attack at several other people while facing off against her one on one...and the scale of the attack he launched...She honestly wasn't even sure if she could survive taking a direct hit from him. If she did, she probably wasn't doing so while conscious. Still, she had to seize the moment and charged in for an attack. Unfortunately for her, the teacher seemed to completely fail to notice just how dangerous her situation was and and decided it was her turn for a ball. She was inside her opponent's reach now and her focus on him, Aura up to defend against a hit from the front and a ball slammed into the small of her back. Electricity and shock from the sudden pain locked her in place and her vision turned white for an instant. Well, this was it. If he attacked her now, she was totally dead.

Aeralin listened as Narx yelled back that he will only heal Pyrve after the match, it made Aeralin pout a bit “oh fine, could have been fun to fight her again at full but oh well, go kick her a**!” Aeralin yelled before seeing Danae getting closer and closer, Aeralin turned around but wasn’t able to react in time, getting stabbed in her chest instead, which hurt quite a lot, but Aeralin could only chuckle as the blades were pulled away and she began fleeing “oh… but where’s the fun in winning like that when I can continue more and more? I don’t care to win or lose” she said as aura flames began surrounding her while her wound started to heal up, but right before the aura seemed to calm down It busted into flames around her as Aeralin glared at Danae with a huge grin “I just love the adrenalin of the fight” Aeralin said as her semblance kicked in, she could feel the shock wave from Narx’s attack but it didn’t faze her, she sprinted towards Danae at full speed even if Danae was knocked away, slashing her Pole arm and creating many aura waves as she ran towards her, trying to distract her as much as possible until finally in range she would try to knee her right in the stomach, making a small aura wave from her knee and right after she began spinning with her polearm, hitting everything close enough to her and spreading aura waves around her, she was enjoying herself a lot, maybe even too much at this point. After Narx's large shockwave towards all of the others he was vulnerable with his back exposed to Aoi. She didn't hesitate to make her move. "Damn it!" He muttered under his breath. She darted straight to him and right before she made an attack she was smacked in the back with an electric ball from the teach! She froze. Narx had no time to think about that though, as another mysterious dust ball was coming right for him.
Now he knew that these were possibly any random dust. This meant that dodging was better than blocking or hitting them as that would trigger their effects regardless.
But Narx knew he could take a hit, unlike Aoi. Dodging would likely put him out of position, so this wasn't a moment he could lose. It may be unexpected, but he already had his hand on the hilt of his sheathed katana. This put him in the perfect position to do what he had in mind.
Narx, with feet firmly plants, twisted his hips, and ripped the still sheathed katana from his belt. He leaned back to adjust the swing and smacked the ice baseball with a ferocious strike just like if he was playing a game of baseball. But the ball would be aimed right at Aoi who was literally within the swing.
The ball fueled with ice dust would erupt into ice upon impact. The ice would crawl up his sheathed blade and onto his arm and shoulder by the time the strike hit Aoi. A massively powerful blow with ice all over it. The blade was still sheathed though, so it was just a blunt attack. This was Aoi's saving grace.
She would feel it in the rib cage. After it hit her the ice would consume her torso on the side of impact up to her left shoulder. The attack would then carry onwards and shatter the ice between them and send Aoi flying down the sandune.
(Maybe 40% of her aura would be gone? I don't see it doing more. And the residual ice likely would only be a small hindrance to either of them I would think)
Narx couldn't move his arm much. "EEEEEUUUUUUYYRRAHHHHH!!!" He roared as he pushed with all his might to bend his arm. The ice shattered in a few places allowing basic shoulder and elbow movements, but was still hindered. He had what looked like ice armor now, great in some ways, but still an annoyance as it stopped his usual full range of motion with his right ar,
He looked down the hill to see Aoi. Hoping she wasn't hurt too bad. His hits could easily break ribs. At least it wasn't his hammer. That would have been brutal. Narx looked around him to make sure he wasn't being targeted by anyone else, then started to casually walk down to where Aoi fell.

All of this sand was a mess!!! Though it was starting to finally clear up, Narky was finding himself lost regardless in the bundle of this mess. All he could hear were the sounds of weapons, and Aeralin's voice somewhere among it all, as well as Narx and Aoi in their own amounts of tussling. "Aye Vey... The sandman brought too much sand!" Taking out something from his coat, the handy, dandy flyswatter he carried around was being used to wave the sand away from him. How could he see this way, when waving the sand away from him was a better plan! Maybe he could finally meet back up with miss Pyrve! "They played it smart to separate us like this, but that doesn't mean KI cannot find her again!" Truly, this flyswatter was a wonderful invention!! ... Even if it wasn't being used for the actual purpose it was meant to be used for...
Regardless, everyone was finally coming into sight. Behind him had been the pair fighting. Oh!!! What a feat!!! His main primary target however, had been his team partner, who was currently towards Aeralin and Danae!!! "Grandma always told me never intervene in a fight where the princess are sparring... That isn't what a prince does!" A small notion he wanted to stick to. This was combat class though. He couldn't leave his team mate to take on two! A real prince should also be there for his team princess! That was the right thing to do!! "Coming Miss Pyrve!!" Setting the flyswatter away, be had began on making pursuit towards her, with his weapon in both hands. Forcing himself to keep focused on teaming up, he had forgot about the ones behind him. What a mistake that had proven to be. Forgetting about them had lead to a huge error on his part, One minute, he was running as fast as he could. The next minute, the impact of the goat man's hammer had sent him knocking right off his feet, uncontrollably sending him, metaphorically, flying right towards the women, his aura itself taking a medium strength hit. "Oof!!!" landing just less than ten feet away from Pyrve, the frazzled young dragonling had to take a moment to recollect himself, feeling the pain of landing aching all around his back and his shoulders. All too slow to notice the expression on his leaders face, there was still that frown of disappointment towards himself for getting separated in the first place. "I'm sorry miss Pyrve!! I am ready to be a second shield!" Unsure what to make of how Pyrve was feeling, Narky just wanted to be able to back his teammate up properly. "Tell me who we are going after, please! Let me fix my mistake!"

Aoibheann regained her vision as Narx charged in at her, swinging his sword. She didn't really have time to process that it was sheathed still as she reacted on pure instinct. As he swung at her, a sheen of green fully enveloped her, quickly shifting around her body and seemed to home in on where the impact was going to land. As the weapon collided with the sphere, he'd feel the speed of it lessen a tad, not enough to really reduce the impact, but, if he paid attention, he'd have seen all the jagged edges of ice gathered on it get worn completely smooth before it impacted her and sent her tumbling down the dune. She stood up with a groan. the green light around her flickering out. He was walking at her, seeming to not be at all bothered by her, like she was no threat. She took her sword and leveled it at him. Waiting until he was just too far for his hammer to hit, she rushed him, swinging with the sword in a downward cut, though, she kept careful watch. Any sign of him shifting his legs, she'd dart back, but, if he instead moved to block the blow, last moment, she'd drop down in a three-point stance, her left leg suddenly arching up to slam into the side of his knee with her own knee. Regardless of if it hit or he dodged, her other leg kicked out for a moment to hook behind his feet in an effort to trip him. If he blocked or countered the attack to his knee, she'd push away from him. If the trip attempt worked, she'd press the assault with a pommel strike to the collar before rolling off to the side to put distance between them again. Regardless, she aimed to be outside of striking range when he recovered and planned to keep it that way as long as she could until she needed to strike. The entire time, she focused on keeping her aura up in whatever part of her was facing him, concentrating it there. She knew she definitely could not take a blow from him without her aura now.

Pyrve didn't notice it but Danae had stabbed Aeralin. "I don't need healing." The only thing that was still hurt was her pride. She was still in her own head at the moment. The wind did get her and she ended up taking a tumble backwards, so that put her a little farther away from Aeralin and Danae. She didn't want to slam into any walls that is why she tucked and rolled. Getting up, she had to make a decision. Help Aeralin or fight against her. She had already took a swing at Danae and was in semblance mode. The swing was indeed impressive and she was going to need some help for sure.
That is when she heard someone say "oof". Looking over to Narky, she smiled as it seemed he was coming to help her. a giggled left her lips as he seemed to have hurt himself a bit. "Still getting used to flying I see." This was the push she needed to keep going forward in this fight. "No need to apologize honey. Let's just win." She told him. "We are going to take on Danae and Aeralin. Just be careful. Aeralin is in semblance mode. She is on an adrenaline rush." Gearing up, she was ready to take them both on with a little help of course. "You are going to get your wish Miss Aeralin. We aren't done." She would charge at Aeralin and was ready for whatever came her way. With shield on her back, she wasn't going to even think about anything but putting her all into this swing. She would c**k her polearm back and swing from left to right at Aeralin mid section. Then she swing back going right to left. Then she took a stab at her as well. She knew that was a chance that none of it could land or all of it. She also knew Aeralin could hit back hard.

Danaë would immediately step away after she had stabbed Aeralin in the chest. She hadn't wanted to stab her in the chest, the back was just so much better to stab into than the chest. The back was far more protected than the chest as you could easily slide into tissue that wasn't meant to be sliced into. She hope that this person would not hold it against her in the future. However it seemed that the woman wanted to fight one-on-one and that was not Danaë's style. Danaë felt the rush of aura coming at her and decided it was a good way to escape. She allowed the aura to take her to the wall but before she got to the wall she activated her semblance for a second time. She knew that she would be tired after this, but it was something that need to be done. As she was approaching the wall she saw that Aeralin was following her still. She only had a few quick moments to turn herself around to aim her feet towards the wall. She would then kick off the wall and fly into the air.
When she was above the action she could see what was going on. She saw a Narx attacking Aoibheann. Maybe she should protect her partner in this battle. Danaë would almost roll her eyes inside of her head. She would then dive down, the silence on her feathers, as she would land behind narcs. Then in his ear as he was trying to avoid things she would are the simple hoot "Ho-oh" into his ear.

The class was doing better than he expected; he had thought some students would've been eliminated early by the way things were going, and for some to be totally at a loss in certain matches that formed. Though there was also a tendency for theatrics and some students not accounting for how long it took to set up some of their own attack chains; there were many openings in those that would need to be improved upon in future. 'Unrelenting attacks only work well when you give your opponent no chance to counter; sacrificing ideal attacks for continuous ones or setting up yourself to be able to continue the tempo,' Sinn thought to himself silently. Regardless of if any lost or were eliminated as time went on, Sinn's mind was already decided as to the passing rate of the class. Feel free to decide how your fights go; stalemate, victory, etc. If needed I can give an official winner if there is disagreement, but if not I leave it to you all (dice roll is fairly objective; you'd just need to roll 51 or higher (on d100)to still have aura, and depending on your opponents roll, it can lead to victory, stalemate, or defeat. Suffice to say 50 or lower is your aura is broken and you are eliminated). As the class finished up with a resounding gong and announcement, Sinn would walk towards them in the arena now. The rain of deadly baseballs over for the time being; and the lights turned back on for the benefit of the non faunus students. "Well done. You all did well in this melee, despite one or two mistakes. Mistakes are how you learn in a fight though; better to make them here than in the field of battle. You all have passed the class; I hope this experience shall help you in your battles to come. You never know who you may fight; while our school is dedicated to fighting grimm, we often have to fight people or faunus as well. And very rarely are these fights straight forward one on one duels; the odds shift from your favor to theirs constantly by the decisions we make in the heat of the moment. That is all I have to say; class is now dismissed," Sinn would comment on how he viewed the fight with his own wisdom and insight on the battles they may face. Arms crossed behind his back, he would wait for them all to depart. Sinn himself had a few exercises for himself planned for his own training so once they did, unless some decided to stay for a bit, he would start his own training regime. One geared to trying to deal with multiple threats at once. Class is officially over. You all have passed. Feel free to use the final days till day change to do exit posts/ wrap ups.
