Darren approached Sable with a wide grin, finally finding her at some sort of lottery booth. Admittedly, he had barely recognized her since her dress and braided hair were quite different in comparison to the heavy gear she usually adorned, but it was impossible not to recognize Jin beside her, even if he was wearing a puffy sleeved shirt. "M'lady~" Darren greeted, giving a light bow. "You look absolutely ravishing. You look great too Jin~" He complimented them both, looking over the lotto with a thoughtful hum before trading in two TMs he wasn't really in dire need of in exchange for a few tickets to put into a lotto with some Mysterious Incense as one of the potential prizes. It seemed he was a bit to late to enter one of the lotto's for other TMs, but he was okay with that, happy for the winners. It was mostly the incense he was interested in anyways.
Soon Merlin and Gavyn found them, the former having adorned his head with a wizard's hat, fitting for his nickname. "Heh~ Thanks Mer, your hat is very fitting." He grinned. It was too bad Gavyn didn't really want to dress up, but Darren wouldn't push him if he really didn't want to. He wasn't the only one who wasn't dressed up anyways, it wasn't for everyone. Asriel seemed quite eager to go off and do things, but he needed to stay close to Gavyn, the poor thing. "Haha~ Well let's not keep the little guy waiting. We should go find something to do!" Darren suggested, though he soon paused and turned to the man running the lotto. "Sir? What are some of the attractions here?" Darren asked. "Well if you're hungry, we've got a big kitchen set up down the road to your left, to the right, we have some small sparring arenas if you feel like dueling medieval style, in the center we have some plays and acts going on different stages, then further back you'll find the rapidash races and jousting tracks set up." He explained. "Hm.... What do you guys think? Stay here or go to one of those places?" Darren asked his friends curiously. To him it all sounded good, though he was kind of leaning more towards a play himself.

Lapis nodded lightly in agreement as Mari suggested that the area was a bit loud but fun. It was louder for the blue florges' tastes, but she was enjoying Mari's company and playing games, like a little catapult game with cute stuffed froakie. Lapis cut the string on her miniature catapult but then covered her eyes when it moved quicker than she expected, slightly parting her fingers a little while afterwards. "D-did I do okay.....?" She asked sheepishly, not having witnessed the froakie fly far, but she got seven tokens out of it, so she assumed that meant she did pretty good. Flynn approached the two florges with a large sack, holding it out to Lapis and grunting. ('Here. I can take those tokens off your hands.') He offered. "Oh... A bag, that was very thoughtful of you Flynn~ Thank you." Lapis smiled kindly and emptied her handfuls of tokens into the leather bag before petting his head. Flynn got an embarrassed and slightly irritated look, gently waving her hand off. ('I'm just experienced with these sorts of things.') He insisted huffily, though it was clear he was grateful for her appreciation, he just had a hard time showing it. Lapis knew this though and just giggled as the charmeleon stormed off, his red scales camouflaging the blush on his cheeks.

Flynn was making a display of anger, but really he was just embarrassed, grumbling about how she didn't have to pet his head like he was some kind of baby. It did feel nice though and that was mostly why he was so irritated. Why did head rubs feel so good dammit?! Breathing a bit of flame from his mouth in a huff, Flynn moved to another booth and bet on a rapidash race. His choice actually ended up placing second, lucky guess he supposed, but it got him five tokens, a decent payout.
Lapis was a bit confused by Flynn's behavior but she didn't question it; having psychic senses helped clear a lot of his feeling up, particularly when petting him. That was also partially why she liked holding Mari's hand, her feelings flowed through Lapis, and they were warm and fuzzy and soothing. The two florges soon came upon a berry bobbing station however, so Lapis wanted to try, and managed to pull out 8 lum berries! She would have to find Flynn again soon to put them away in his sack, or maybe she could find Darren instead and give him everything. Or she could also get a sack of her own to carry around, that would work too.

Stuffing the newly earned berry's into her bag Emory waves a goodbye to the man whom had helped her before heading back towards the main entrance. It was just past lunch time now and much of the crowds girth had begun to disperse spreading out either towards the train station, the near by town or the kitchens. Not feeling up to the task of figing with mid lunch traffic in the kitchen Emory instead tracked down a snack stand. An old man, selling caned drinks, candies and premade sandwich's stood along one of the side roads cutting through the main entrance area with his stand. The stand was a wagon outfitted with a hidden refrigerator and retractable shelves that hung off the back under the window where he stood inside passing out his goods. Emory took a moment eyeing the menu and picking something not worthy. "Can i help you miss." Emory looking around finding she was suddenly the only one left and hadn't picket out her selection. Waving both hands back and forth before quickly flashed the Im mute tattoo. Without skipping a beat the man began signing. Emory looked on amazed because so few people people who could talk knew sign language. This was a rare treat in deed. "Its alright hun. Take your time." Finding the Crossbow rang wasn't the problem. The constant whistle of darts streaking through the air hitting hay bails down range, of each gun as it released its built of tension with a loud cling and swuuush sound. "Thank you, sir Darren!" Merlin smirked as the male had complimented him on his choice of hat. "You know, Gavy, he's not going to set you on fire or anything. Hold Asriel closer to your body before you drop him." the clefairy telepathed just to his trainer, noticing the awkward way he was holding the lizard away from his body. Gavyn winced - was it that noticeable? He hoped not. The brunette then held the charmander closer to his body, feeling it's warmth against him. Asriel certainly seemed happier with this- now he was being held securely and could see over most of the crowd with his head peering over Gavyn's shoulder.

Welll Sableye was certainly getting annoyed as he battled a fellow ghost. Unfortunately for him, his other teammates were just finding it incredibly hilarious, and didn't feel particularly interested in coming to help. Unfortunately for them, that seemed to just make him even more annoyed, and when he finally did defeat his opponent, he came back glaring at them, plopping down and grabbing a stone their trainers had given him. He smiled a little as he glanced at her, clearly not taking her brooding carefully, but slowed when Dustox finally pointed Marx out. ".... Chansey, would you mind giving your trainer the tokens?" he asked, looking down to the pokemon. Chansey blinked and looked up. "Ah, well, sure... but don' ya wanna meet him?" she asked. She paused, then added, "'N how many should I take from your bag?" Tyde bowed his head a little. "Next time, perhaps. Maybe when there's a psychic pokemon around to assist in introductions," he suggested. She pouted. "And there should be approximately one hundred in my bag after you've give him the ones I earned for you. I trust you to keep track." The smile he gave her seemed to wipe any ideas of misdeed from her mind, and after staring a moment, she batted her eyelids and smiled taking the bag. "You got it, sugar!" she chimed, turning to happily skip her way to Marx, tugging on his pants to get his attention, while Tyde and Dustox slipped off to some more games nearby.

Marx blinked and looked down, distracted once again from his company. "Huh? Oh! Hey Chansey!" he greeted with a grin. He blinked, though, as she held up several coins. "Oh, thanks!" he said, taking the coins. But then she pulled out more. And... more. And more. "Uhhh..." He was panicking a bit, looking around as if expecting a bag to show up, before quickly springing to an idea-- his backpack! Unfortunately he might have benefited in the future by thinking this through, but that wasn't the Marx way. No, instead he swung his bag around, opened a pocket he was sure didn't have the egg in it, and started dumping the coins in with Chansey, who was more than content to let him doom himself in the future, when he actually tried to exchange these things.
Once she'd given him the coins, she picked up the little bag she had-- were there still some in there? -- and trooped off. He blinked, looking at her, but then straightened up, absently checking his holocaster as he straightened up. Ah, he had messages again! He took a moment to respond to them, trying to move quickly so he wouldn't seem rude to Cheria and Skye, before stuffing it away. At least now he had some tokens for when they went to the prize booth! It seemed like a lot, so maybe he could buy something? Or at least see what he might be able to get in the future.

Yukie tried to ignore Akela's hand holding his own but that was no small order giving he couldn't let his arm hand like normal. Akela's height advantage meant his arms had to bend a little. He kept his other hand pulled into his chest haven't not yet pulled his gloves back on. He lead the way in a silent fum refusing to look at or really even acknowledge Akela for the time being. He kept this up until he got to the main entrance help deck area. The train station had a small room set off to the side where the coordinators for the event gathered and worked to maintain order. A security guard stood at the door stopping yukie. "Can i help you?" the man asked shifting his weight. "Yukie Havick, i was paged?" He said. The man nodded and "Right this way please ma'am." Yukie pulled free of Akela's hand as the man opened the door for him cutting her a mischievous grin as he passed through the door frame leaving Akela behind. The man quickly blocked the way for Akela. "Sorry miss, you'll have to wait out here a moment please." The door closed behind him cutting Akela from view.
"You called ?" Yukie said prepared for the worse. "Ahh yes miss Havick, An interesting name i most say. Your lottery ticket won my deer, you get seven TM's of your choice as well as this." The man pushed a pokeball towards him. "Its a rare pokemon, a Porygon-Z in fact." Yukie froze. No way was this a Porygon-Z. Shocked and over joyed he snatched the ball up almost forgetting the TM's until a women pushed a box with hundreds of assorted colored CD disks in it. Yukie spent some time sorting through them picking the seven he wanted and pocketing an eight unseen. "Thank you very much. Umm if its not to much as ask can i slip out the back so i can surprise my friend ?" Surprise nothing he'd seen something he wanted to snag to humiliate her with later. "I dont see why not."
Yukie with years of training slipped past Akela unseen, ducking into a tent a ways back. One they had passed going to the office.. He'd seen something on a jewelry displace he just had to have. A collar, meant for a pokemon but one he was intent to use on Akela. Bought and payed for Yukie snuck back up behind Akela holding the collar judging its size around her neck. "Yeah, i think it'll fit." He said announcing his return. "and it wasn't heat stroke i was suffering from FYI, it was embarrassment." It all be worth it in the end surely.

It was very pretty, and Akela couldn't help herself even though she wasn't a big fan of these machine things. There was a note with it that said that it would make a pokemon extra pretty. Yes, the naive girl was being taken in by this advertising, but she just couldn't help herself. Maybe shopping on her own was a bad idea. By the time the girl returned to the coordinator shack, she had also purchased a book on dragons and a fancy medieval looking spear that was made rather well. She'd had no idea they made such things in the modern world and just had to have one. Suddenly she heard her friend's voice from behind and turned to see a pretty chain that was being held up to her neck as though it was meant to go around. The dark skinned girl blushed visibly and opened her mouth, but nothing came out. She honestly didn't know what to make of it.
