xx_little_black_cat_xx At my school I'm the only girl tuba player...I play during concert season and I also march. I get dogged down by other the other sections, but the guys in my section respect me because I have a "shoulder of steel". They also say I remind them of this one girl they used to have there named Tessa. They started calling me 'Little Tessa' not to long ago..... wewt! Yay for Tuba chicks x3 I'm the only Tuba chick too in my marching band. My section leader is like all absuive xD;; Well..sorta >_>

My friend Erin plays tuba for pep band, and we have a girl trombone player, too.
There are two guy clarinets as well.

Scheissenkopf WE have an all girl drum line and an all guys pit, which is kinda flippped hahaha that rocks! i actually made a similar topic in the woodwinds/brass sub-forum ONLY GAL IN THE TRUMPETS!!!!!!!!!! my boys rock my sox!

im the only girl in the trombone section and i love it! all the guys in my section are so hot! its awesome, and the best part is that in marching band, our dm makes us change in sections and i get to see all of them in their boxers every week!

Queen of Sarcasm Hehehe, I went to an all girls HS so...NO BOYS whee Now I'm in numerous bands and the Adelaide Symphony and it all mix'n'match. that must suck... I would hate it to be in an all boys school...

I'm the only girl in our tuba/euph section. I play euph. I put up with a lot of s**t from the guys, but they've taken me in. It's not that big of a deal for me.

Ummm, My section consists of two people, Mason ( a guy) and Me, a chick, soo it's evently dispersed. We're the horn section by the way.

Our flute section is all girls, and there are only two guys in our clarinet section of probably 15-16. Other than that, every other section is pretty even in the boy/girl ratios.

There is only one girl in the tuba section at my school(going to be in the top band for four years). Two for french horn section(both in the top band, one freshmen and other senior). Two also in the trombone and the trumpet(mine) sections. Also two for percussion, both really good too.

My band has an all boy drum line until this year when we got a girl.
