Are you in an all boys section? Like my friend and I are the only girls in the trombone section in the honors, synphonic, and all the other bands younger than us! How do you feel about being a girl in a mainly boys only section? And what do you do?
My friend and I do all sorts of stuff together so we don't have to deal with with the boys in our trombone section but it's cool they are nice but really weird sometimes!!! Here you can let out your frustration on the boys or tell what they do when are just... well being boys!!! And have fun with it! This is all for US GIRLS! Trombones ROCK! blaugh heart
Oh just one thing... don't be too mean ya guys can be annoying sometimes but over all they are okay. Even when you do not want to admitt it. I know I don't sometimes!

I'm the only girl in low brass. They call me a a nympho. ^^;
Since I'm little, what I do to defend myself is to harass all the guys in low brass (I smack their asses!). They're pussies, so it scares them out of bothering me...

I am one of only 3 girls in upcoming freshman percussion. My friend Dalitso is the only girl trombone in our grade and I think the whole high schoo!

Girls dominate our percussion section, and our low brass section. There are also guys in our band who play flute and clarinet. So I guess in our band we don't really have any "gender instruments/sections". We all treat eachother as human beings instead of boy and girl anyway. It's like one big family, and gender doesn't really come into play too often. *Shrugs*

I think that its interesting when you are in an all guy section. You learn many interesting things and are not really that "innocent" when you leave.

I'm the only girl in my regular band's low instrument section, and the only girl in my orchestra's entire brass section. XD It's cool, though. Boys aren't all that bad.

My friend is the only girl trombonist, and she's a freshman, too. If I had started tenor last year, I would've been the only girl for a year, but now the tenor section is an even 2-2 split - two girls, two boys.

Our band has only 1 brass female player, all the alto saxes are guys, and then all the flute and clarinet players are girls... Wait.. Was I supposed to consider Logan a guy?
