There has been a notable absence of Dark Mirror Senshi from Destiny City in the past few days, but perhaps this hasn’t been noticed en masse. What has been noticed is the strange activity from mirrors: People are being sucked into mirrors, trapped in small rooms together. They are drained, slowly. They can move around and pace, but no magic can break them out of the room. Sometimes, it is only one in a room. Sometimes it is a few. Sometimes, it is many. Mirrorspace does not seem to distinguish who goes where; a Senshi may very well end up in the same room as a Negaverse Agent. You can’t feel hunger, you can’t power down. You are simply stuck—for hours, days. There’s no way out. Quote: This prompt will ICly last for a few days and will have resolution through an ORP! You can choose to be sucked into the Mirror early on or closer to the start of the ORP if you are afraid of the effects on other plots or your character having a prolonged absence. Powered characters and civilian characters can both be trapped in the same room, but unless you want to deal with a new glamour, opposing powered characters cannot power down to reveal identities to each other. Who you are trapped in a room with is entirely up to you! Please make sure all of these roleplays are started in the [Event] The Mirrorscape subforum! If you have questions, please PM the mule!

News Flash!There are some big things happening in Mirrorspace right now… Everyone that was trapped by the mirrors earlier seems to have been transported to another strange location—and now they’re going to have to run for their lives! If you didn’t respond to the prompt before, you can still join this ORP (and you can still backdate roleplays where you are trapped in the mirror!) But they aren’t the only ones with something going on… After an altercation with Altea in front of her prisoner, the Dark Mirror Court managed to escape the dungeon and made their way to the library. There, they found bits and pieces of Altea’s history, but now the castle seems to be unstable and they have no choice but confront Altea. Things don’t look very good.News Flash! News Flash! The message, when it arrives, is nicely typed in the simple font common among knight rings using Mistral's holo interface upgrade, and does not appear to be urgent. When you open it (should you choose to do so), you're able to read the following message: Quote: Hello,
This message is being sent to all sailor soldiers, knights, and Mauvians who can receive it. Some of you have met me. Some of you haven’t.
My name is Hvergelmir Knight of the Cosmos.
I’ve been involved in this conflict for about five years now. Some of you have been doing this much longer than that. Some of you are still experiencing it for the first time. We all share some of the same struggles — but we haven’t all struggled together. Too often, we face our trials alone. Friends and family have no idea what may have happened to her. Her family is completely beside themselves with worry. NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!Sailor Nix, Senshi of Frogs likes to train. So much so he's decided to share it with everybody! Well, everybody he can manage. To that end, he sent a general message to Senshi phones and made this information available: Quote: Hey everybody! I'm Nix, and I'm a pretty new senshi, and I've noticed something we as a group seem to be missing: practicing our skills together. I spend a lot more time practicing and training than I do patrolling, and sometimes I do it with others, but usually I don't. But! Let's change that! If any of you would like to join me, I'm happy to help figure out how to run and jump and use powers better--or you can help me, if you want. Either way, I power up every night for at least a little while, so it should be pretty easy to get me a message. If enough people want to join me for training, I could try to figure out a more organized plan for it, too! A sort of...senshi boot camp, I guess? I dunno. Seems like a good idea to me! Call me~ Also included was a general idea of where he'd be and when he'd be out on typical days. NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH! As you make your way around town, you'll come to find that there are flyers located throughout all of the popular shops in Destiny City. Each cotton candy pink piece of paper that you find informs you of an up and coming Charity Ball. All money raised from it appears to go to a charitable organization and the tickets are surprisingly cheap for what seems to be a fancy soirée.  Anyone who is anyone (and even the nobodies, poor darlings that they are) seem to be flocking to find dates and formal attire for the event. Maybe you should mark your calendar too? For those of you that remember the music festival Anthemusa you might remember that there was something fishy going on and how the sailor scouted antagonist attacked popular YouTuber Jade Argent! In the aftermath of it and some extensive investigation, it appears that the CEO of Renegade Media has been caught as a supporter of the sailor gang and has been convicted of embezzling!
It's also appeared that he's fled the country and the company is now undergoing a restructure. It's all a bit curious, but the new head of the company Chase Black and his partners Jade Argent and Levi Drummond have stated that they're committed to addressing the problems left behind by Renegade and will be rebranding!
But it looks like that's not the only thing getting rebranded...

NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!Advertising has been all over the place. You see billboards on every other street, radio advertisements have been playing almost on a loop on nearly every radio station you turn to, and if you've got social media, then you've probably had an ad of some sort thrown your way. And if you're a YouTube frequenter, then you're probably hit with a view of the company's new head and the literal 'face' of Argent Industries promoting their upcoming convention. There's even a call for local vendors to set up shop in their food and 'artist' alley along with people who think they might want to sign up to be a panelist. Rumor has it that Argent Industries is going to host a beta testing of a new MOBA game being launched by this hot up-and-coming gaming company they're heavily considering investing in. If things go well...people have heard talks of a gaming tournament. If there's ever a time to get a chance to meet and talk to some of your favorite local, and not so local, YouTubers, internet names, or you're itching to attend a panel for some media-savy talks (we know you're interested to hear what some of the game developers have to offer), then this is the place for you! Or maybe you're hoping to be that next big 'talent' that the company takes under their wing, there's opportunities for you to get your name (and face) out there! There's also a chance that someone might take an interest in you and offer a job (with benefits!). For $20 a ticket, or maybe you're one of the lucky ones who wins a free one, there's a lot the convention has to offer so it can't hurt to pop in! Clandestine though their distribution, they urged others to pass along the message they received to any open ears, any solemn faces. Its words were a promise of growth and development — of finding a place among the many teeth lining the mouth of the Negaverse. For some, it was a message of finally finding a team. For others, it was a promise to bolster their burgeoning ranks.

Above the imperative for officers to sign their names was a small map of the Citadel's layout. Circled on the left side was the location for Room 241, and beyond it — depending on the poster — was an x identifying the poster's location.
On the sign-up sheet itself was a delineation of more information — a promise that officers would be matched based on their individual skillsets and personalities. Affixed to the bottom of the sign-up sheet was a set of cards, a strip connecting them at the top, and a small bin in which to drop the completed card. NEWS FLASH! NEWS FLASH!A new challenger has arrived!! No, wait. That's not right.... An old friend has returned? Or is he a foe? Decide for yourself and join in. OOC Notice in Regards to This RP A General King has (re)surfaced in Destiny City and without anything like a Mauvian to dampen his energy signature, there is a very good chance that your character might have felt the sudden overwhelming presence of his aura. There are also two Eternal Senshi and a Mauvian present-- Are you awake? Do you investigate? Right now there doesn't seem to be any fighting going on. No senshi magic is flying and the General King doesn't seem to have his weapon drawn, but that could change and he could always teleport away at any moment. ICly this ORP takes place the night of September 22nd/early morning hours of September 23rd. Think 2am, maybe?
