Adolf looked to Athena, and he smiled. It wasn't really a big smile by most people's standards, but for Adolf... it was huge. "Athena is reckless," he stated. "She is too loyal, sometimes." He looked to Lin. "It seems this unwavering loyalty--a trait most inu hanyou and yokai share--has benefitted her for once, though." He paused. "I am proud of her."

Lin smiled softly and nodded to Adolf. "You should be, sir. Very proud of her."
She glanced at her professor. Why was he being so quiet?

BoomXXIV ((Tell you what Jun, if you can semi-competently argue religion with me than I'll retract what I said razz )) ((Eh?~ I don't remember bringing up religion but what is the reason to argue about religion? And how will we argue it without OCC-ing throughout this Rp?))

((Jun, religion just happens to be one of Boom's FAVORITE things to debate about. I've never 'won' any of our debates... but there have been some good jokes swapped. You guys can go argue it in the ooc thread, or through a PM.))
((And Ophi is quiet because I forgot to post. lol!))
Ophiuchus stopped paying attention to Lin and Adolf's conversation after a while, though he was still listening. He had smiled, at 'she accepted me, when i did not accept her'. Much progress, from the first day of school.
The poison was gone now from Ialo's body, but there was still the matter of the cuts. The one the healer made closed in seconds - it was a very clean cut, made with a blade coated in white magic.
The slashes though, took a little longer, and some white magic to close up, now that the poison was gone. But they soon healed too.
"We'll give him some of the restorative potion too," he commented out loud. "And some time to grieve properly when he comes to."

Lin went over to a desk in the medical wing, sat down, and reached for the paper and pen on the desk.
"Professor, do you think you could tell me the recipe in that restorative potion so that I may write it down? I would love to practice making it myself."
She looking over at her professor quizzically. "And why would the headmaster need to grieve, sir?"

((Sure I guess through the PM would be fine, I guess! Oh btw, I don't see Mitsuki on much? What time zone does she live in? I am in the Silicon Valley, California! Home of the Apple Company!))

"Sure, it's not too terribly complex, just takes a while to make..." Ophiuchus stepped away from Ialo and stretched, having been standing in the same spot for just over an hour now.
But suddenly, he looked at her sharply... in fact, his eyes looked almost nervous. Eventually an announcement would be made, that Luna Wolfe had died. She was a teacher after all, even if her class didn't have a curriculum - she was the woman in charge of detention. But Ialo also loved her, and to lose a teacher, a love, and an ally all in one go - well, Lin would understand that, Ophi realized.
But then there would be the nasty part. Lin would likely ask how she died, and Ophi couldn't quite predict her reaction to hearing a teacher was murdered.
And suddenly, he realized, Lin was in for a history lesson.
((Sorry Laura, that Ophi didn't say much! I didn't give you much to work with, besides his expression.)) ((Jun, Mitsuki and I are both East Coasters, but she's got a lot of school stuff to do, and a computer curfew... sometimes.))

Adolf watched, silent once more. He was worried. There was more, he thought, going on at this school than what it was pretending. He did not know much of what was happening, but just the way that the healer had reacted to Lin's question... It confirmed Adolf's suspicions that he either needed to remove Athena or stay here himself.

((That's right, pity me. Or better yet, send me a laptop so I don't have to smuggle the single one in our house away to some secret place for a few hours of Internet access. And yeah, finals rule my life these days.))
Danni remembered suddenly what Riser had done at the back of her head, and could only roll her eyes.
"Ok, so I've got a curse that isn't a curse in me." And it was still in Ialo. So she still owed him. Great.
"I can live with that. So what the hell am I supposed to do now? What's all this mean for me?" She asked, crossing her arms.
