Lin looked at Ophiuchus in confusion as she reached for her pendant and drank some of the water from it. What did he mean by literally stuck there?
She put the pendant back down to rest against her collarbone and then went over to the get the bandages as she spoke over her shoulder.
"Excuse me, Professor, but I am afraid that I do not understand what you are referring to when you say that you are literally stuck there."
She brought the bandages over to him.

"Thank you," he said, nodding to Lin. "What I mean is, if you care to watch what I'm doing for a minute or so..."
His hands were glowing the pale gold still, and the dark poison was bubbling up from the cut Ophiuchus had made on the Headmaster's chest. Little droplets of the poison would rise up, attracted to Ophi's hands, and when there was a sizable amount, he would flick his hands over the bowl, and the poison would fall in there.
"I'm trying to filter out the poison before too much of it goes through his heart," Ophiuchus explained solemnly. "I'm not literally stuck, but if I can help it, I'd rather not have to leave him for any length of time. This poison is so strong, even a little bit left could leave the Headmaster ill for several days."

Lin was slightly surprised that her professor had said he had been literally stuck where he was, but he wasn't actually stuck. He was usually so good with his terminology, but this time he used the word 'literally' completely incorrectly.
Lin winced slightly and then shook her head when she realized that right now was not the time for a mental vocabulary lesson. Good thing she was a great multi-tasker and had still been paying very close attention to what her professor was doing.
She grasped her pendant and started to move it toward the cut the poison was coming out of. "Do you think that my pendant would also help extract the poison, Professor?"

Ophiuchus thought for a moment, as he dropped some more poison into the bowl. There was not a lot poison, it seemed - an hour of work had filtered out hardly a teaspoon. But the less time it spent in the Headmaster's body, the better.
"Well, if it doesn't, it certainly can't hurt him," the healer responded. "I would be very glad if it did help. Go ahead and try it."

{{I hope this is okay to go ahead and have it work.}}
Lin nodded to her professor and then finally held the pendant directly over the cut on her headmaster. It wasn't touching, but even just having that pure energy so close to it caused the poison to start to bubble angrily in Ialo's cut. Lin had seen this before when she helped her mother with healing the soldiers that had been injured with poison-tipped arrows in the many battles her people fought in the past.
Lin closed her eyes and began whispering in ancient elven. {{Basically think of Arwen in the first LOTR movie}} Her pendant began to glow white and there was a white light escaping from where her eyes were closed.
Slowly, the poison began to drip up into the pendant.

((Nah, it's totally cool! I like seeing Lin use her powers. There's a lot we don't know about her still, I think.))
Ophiuchus watched in captivation as Lin's pendent was taking away the poison. He wished he had a notepad and a pencil on him, or perhaps parchment and a quill. He wanted to take notes to supplement committing this act to memory.
His hands stopped glowing - he decided that with Lin attending to detoxifying Ialo, he could begin to heal the physical slashes on the young man's abdomen from Lazareth's claws.

{{Thanks! biggrin }}
20 minutes later, the pendant stopped glowing. All of the poison was now absent from Ialo's body, though Lin would want her professor to double check that it was.
Lin slowly dropped the pendant back against her collarbone and then opened her eyes. They continued to glow white for a few more moments before they, too, returned to normal.
She turned to look at her professor and smiled slightly. "I would like you to check, Professor, but I believe that the poison is completely gone from the headmaster now."

Adolf watched the removal of the poison with great interest. That young elf was quite the girl. She was very adept at taking the knowledge she had and implementing it, from his brief observations. It almost reminded him of Athena... but this girl was so much calmer, and so much more self-disciplined than his hyperactive teenager.
Speaking of whom... He looked to the cot where she lay, looking uncharacteristically peaceful. It made her look very sweet--not that she wasn't normally, of course, but this was a different kind of sweet. He smiled slightly at her, though he knew that at the moment, she was likely in a coma. Well, perhaps not a full coma, but she wasn't going to be feeling perfect until at least tomorrow. She may not even wake up until tomorrow, depending on how well that potion worked for her.
He listened quietly to the happenings around him and to Athena's breathing. She was all right. That was all that mattered.

Eylios ultimatejunmaster He looked at the other boy that was in the group and thought " Ialo's? Is that a name of a student?" ((Double check the posts, I believe you've misread somewhere. The only character who has said Ialo's name out loud in the past few pages was Danni, and she's nowhere near the school.)) ((OMG!!!! You are correct!.... AAAHHH!!!! Mitsuki, please color code so I won't mix up the characters! crying Also sorry for being MIA today! I had a performance to be in!))

Mitsuki10191 "Oh...All right then." She said, narrowing her eyes as she went through the past few minutes in her head, pushing back the fog in her brain. "...What exactly is Ialo's 'role', anyway?" She demanded, not thinking he meant Headmaster...At least he better not be. ((Just bringing up the last post as Danni so it doesn't get lost.))

((...I don't like that Korean kid for some reason...hm...))
"Ialo's role? Well, his role is that of a leader, the poster boy for my cause. He was to lead the human race back to the destined path it strayed from so long ago. But, I'm beginning to believe he won't make it. The curse is beginning to cause very notable negative effects on both his body and mind; he's tearing himself up more and more and quickly deteriorating mentally with each use it seems. You however, you're a dark user to begin with, you're for more accustomed to it's effect that he ever was. It just may turn out that I made a crucial error in choosing him; in the worse case scenario, we'll consider him the prototype to your working design."
