Silistra looked around the room she was nervous she had been lucky not to be hurt on the battleground and she wanted to help others but she was nervous about speaking up and offering to help. Also, it would open up her civilian life to others she didn't know which could be a big risk. She didn't think her parents would be a problem since they almost never came home instead, calling on holidays so she wasn't worried about them being bothered if Embly took others into their home. Still, though it was a big risk. There was no telling if they might someday go corrupt and remember her as Embly and Silistra. She sighed out deeply trying to get over her fears since living in fear wouldn't get her very far in life. Speaking up had never been her strong suit though so it was hard for her.
Hokkaido was tired, and quite possibly still just a tad unsettled from earlier events. She was also aching, from both being hit with the surge of energy from the generators and then being struck with some of the little pieces of the exploding generators she and Aomori had helped with (Hokkaido less so than Aomori). All together, she wanted to go home, go to bed (it was surely past their bedtime), and maybe curl up with her plush animals… or even Rune, if the angora kitten was visiting again. Getting caught up in this mess wasn’t what she had wanted, and she still wasn’t sure who to blame more for this- her twin or her twin’s ‘mentor’- she much rather would have been home playing Animal Crossing, though it was too late for that now.
Lepus had handed her Etoile, the Mauvian companion of the teen eternal senshi of rabbits; the Somali kitten wasn’t Rune, but Hokkaido held the grey kitten tight all the same, as she let go of her twin so she could go sit on the floor over in a quieter corner of the room. Hopefully, Aomori would follow after, but it didn’t seem like there was anywhere for her twin to wander off to get into trouble in this place, at least…
The nod of acknowledgment brought some relief to Encke; Caedus did seem to be listening to him, and that was what mattered, for the moment. The help was for him, too. He needed to heal, too.
It was nice to see one of the other Velencians encouraging Caedus, and Encke offered a friendly smile in Vaylin's direction. Would have mouthed a word of thanks for her encouragement, but he wasn't sure how their ComTech worked when it came to translation, or if it could even handle those sorts of things-- It was good to see Velencians there, supporting Caedus. Caedus had worked so hard to get back to his people. To have them all abandon him would have been--
Well, best not to think about that.
Caedus looked tired, and admittedly, Encke could sympathize. Had been a long night, already.
"Hopefully we'll be able to leave soon," murmured Encke, yawning quietly. "To someplace with places to rest, maybe."
Courts. Scylla had mentioned something about a group named the Thorns, and Encke's brows rose in curiosity. It had been a long time since he heard any regular reference to a court, and admittedly, she perhaps had a point. Encke admittedly was too wrapped up with Caedus to make any very significant efforts against Chaos, minus when he smashed the center console -- something he might have to inspect about himself later -- but it was always easier for them to fight or defend themselves when they fought together. It was part of why he tried to go out with one of his friends when he could.
... Maybe he'd think a bit more about that.
To Basiluzzo, he teased, quietly, "You hear that?"

As the Code swirled before the group, thoughtful, it answered Promethei, “I think it’s going to bring energy to your Wonders, as it brought energy to me. But I can’t predict what that means. You’ll have to go and see for yourself. You aren’t prisoners here, you can leave when you like.

As Namielle, Réalta, Coco, and Viatrix continued to work on the console, it gradually seemed to function a bit better, even if its programming was still a bit lacking.
“Communication request denied,” the Console repeated. “Mauvian technology has advanced firewalls. There may be an issue in transmission. Further data required. Information requested.”
It pinged, and as if it could only focus on one thing at once it informed, “Data report: Metis, home to Metidians. Catastrophic damage detected. Core intact.Information inconclusive, please update.”
It needed a lot of updates, clearly.
“Data report: Scylla. Travel requires special permission. Dangerous without preparation and approval. Please be advised and take precautions. Core intact.”

Caedus was quiet as Scylla spoke; fatigue had settled in, and the weight of everything hovered in the air. He took comfort in her closeness, and when her hand was offered, he took it. He was as unobtrusive as he could manage; Scylla was busy, she had duties. He would not keep her from them.
He found strength in her resilience. He found strength in all of them.
But, he was tired. And, he didn’t know what came next.

But then, no one really could.
Once, Archideus was a beautiful moon, for a beautiful planet. Then, it was the broken fragment of a moon, for the shell of a world.
Now, it is space debris, scattered throughout the universe.
Charged with energy from the Velencian attack, it has dispersed across the universe, with all the gathered energy carried upon the cosmic wind.
And yet, the universe is still better for it.
In a universe of lifeless worlds, where the lucky ones were fortunate enough to be overrun with plants, Archideus gave birth to something more.
Its destruction gave birth to new life.
Between one visit and the next, something happened: they weren’t alone. It was a small miracle, but there were insects. Not evil, not Chaotic, not magical. Just bugs. It was a small population, but it would grow.
And, the more time they spent on their worlds, the more life they would bring back.
Quote:
Insect and Animal Life have been unlocked for Wonders and Homeworlds!
All Order characters who participated in the meta in some way (at least one roleplay), regardless of rank, will unlock three species of small bugs upon their first return to their Wonder or Homeworld. Participation in the meta is the only way for first stage characters to unlock life other than plans on their Homeworld; they will need to wait until they grow to unlock more.
Moving forward, second stage Order characters will be able to unlock insect life on their world. They can unlock one new insect life form every visit. Insects can be up to half a foot long (15cm) without approval; any insect larger than that, or that has some sort of special ability not found in any Earth insect will need mule approval. Homeworld visits can be handwaved and still unlock new insect species provided they have an Earth counterpart and are within the size range.
Third stage Order characters can unlock small reptiles, amphibians, birds, and mammals once per visit, but these creatures can be no larger than something they can reasonably hold in the palms of both hands. Creatures of this size that have an Earth equivalent can be unlocked without any special permissions from the mule. Order characters can unlock one new animal per visit; this visit can be handwaved but creature unlocks must still follow cooldowns. Insects can be up to a foot long (30cm) without special approval, as long as they reflect standard Earth insects.
Every three completed roleplays or solos a player finishes for their character can be used to claim one insect or animal that does not meet these guidelines; for a roleplay to count, it must be started as of September 1st, must have at least 500 words for the character claiming it, and must be finished. Transcended characters can unlock one bonus creature per month. Not all roleplays need to be done on the character’s Homeworld or Wonder, but players do need to ICly reference that these characters are maintaining their world; life will only expand on their worlds if they are working to restore them.
Creatures will have some limitations; nothing should be able to speak or communicate, and they cannot be humanoid life forms. They can have intelligence equivalent to animals found on Earth. Creatures can be alien in design, but will need a description for staff to approve. Insects and animals may have limited magical abilities, but these should usually be passive abilities (such as a cold-resistant butterfly that sprinkles snowflakes when it flies).
Players must keep a log of the insects and animals they have unlocked; all players should make a post in the Cosmic Almanac (Present Day) where this information is catalogued once unlocked.
When a player wants their character to unlock a special creature at third stage, please PM the following form to The Space Cauldron:
Character Name: (Include name, rank, and a link to their journal) Wonder/Homeworld Information: (Include a link to their post in the Cosmic Almanac; you do not need to have it completely filled out but you should have the post reserved for use in the Almanac) Creature: (Please describe the creature you want to unlock; include size, appearance, and any abilities you might like for them to have. Remember, they cannot be smarter than any animal on Earth and cannot be larger than a horse. They may have magic but this should usually be passive, however if you have a different idea for magic for them please include what you want and how this will affect their world. Creatures should not have any abilities that give the Knight or Senshi an advantage offworld.) Roleplays: (Please link to three finished solos or roleplays where this character has at least 500 words written)
Players can submit multiple creatures for approval in one PM, but they must have the completed roleplay requirement for each one. Only one creature can be unlocked per visit, and to unlock a special creature the character must reference them ICly, preferably in a roleplay or solo at their Wonder or Homeworld.
Earth animals and humans cannot be migrated to Wonders or Homeworlds to live until the character has reached third stage. After they reach third stage, players must complete 25 solos or roleplays, with at least 500 words written for that character. When these requirements have been met, please PM The Space Cauldron with your requirements. Growth Items cannot be used to complete this, and the character should be actively visiting their Wonder or Homeworld. Roleplays and solos completed prior to this release can be used, they simply need to meet the same guidelines and must have been done at third stage, be completed, and have at least 500 words written.
After this is unlocked, a Wonder or Homeworld is capable of supporting life for a small population; the world is capable of being self-sufficient. Crops can be harvested and animals can be hunted, and as long as someone has permission to be there, they can stay for as long as the host allows. However, they can only return to Destiny City with the host, unless they have their own means of teleportation. As the character continues to grow and develop their world, it will be able to support more people.
Maybe, just maybe, Archideus could save more than one world.
But, the Cadets were going to have to find out on their own.
They would have a chance to find out.
Please make sure to thank your artist(s) ; they worked incredibly hard and deserve gratitude and appreciation for everything they do for the shop!
The Vanguard is now a questable Rare Faction! If you played a Cadet during the meta you will need to fill out a Questing Form and post it for stamping in the Acquired Character Thread to continue playing this character. For this event only, these characters do not accrue points towards the character cap. They will be worth 0 points at first, second, and third stage. All Vanguardians acquired past this point in time will follow standard character cap points.
All players who participated in the post-battle ORPs have earned their characters. The art you have acquired does not have a weapon because you are required to choose a customized weapon during the stamping stage; moving forward, a weapon will appear on the art. Players who do not want their character permanently may forfeit their character; ICly, their characters will have gathered on the morning of November 2nd and returned to Velencya. These characters may be quested for in the future should players change their mind, however at that point in time they will need to be purchased like other characters and will follow the same rules for character caps. The current art will be recolored and given out in future shop events for players to create new characters with. If players want to forfeit their Cadet and return the art to the shop to be recolored can also claim three Crown Tokens. To forfeit the character, please just PM The Space Cauldron to let us know, and post your claim in the Crown Token thread! Your character will be listed on the Master Character list to preserve their name.
If you choose to keep your character, they will not be stuck in the Negaverse, nor will they be required to align themselves with any member of Chaos. The Vanguard is a neutral faction; their opinions and choices are not based on Order or Chaos but are instead based on personal beliefs and goals. ICly, Lyndin will meet with Laurelite on the morning of November 2nd. Afterwards, the Cadets that did not leave the battle with him will receive a message that says the Vanguard will always support each other, and even if they do not share the same beliefs, they will be supported in whatever endeavors they pursue to secure the future of Velencya, Velenia, and even Earth.
If they want to stay on Earth, they are invited to stay with the rest of the Vanguard in a safe house secured in Destiny City. They can use this location for housing and shelter. A warp pad will be installed in the house and all Vanguardians can sync with it to allow them the ability to immediately recall to this safe area. It has Vanguardian defenses up to keep it safe and fortified, but outwardly appears like any other house. He handles the finances for this, but the Vanguard is free to customize any room to their liking. They do not have to stay there if they have found other accommodations; They will have access to a bank account that has a steady flow of funds. Lyndin may visit this house, but he is taking it easy. He has used a significant amount of energy to push into the machine that destroyed Archideus and needs time to recover, so he is taking it easy for the time being.
Regardless of any Vanguardian’s choice, whether they left the battle with him or wound up on the Moon, he is currently supporting all efforts to research what makes Earth so special, and to investigate how they can save Velencya or restore life on Velenia. He encourages all Vanguardians to work together for Velencya, even if they do not support his decision to seek Caedus and recover his starseed.
You can continue to write in this roleplay; you do not need to write an exit post. When your character is ready to return to Earth, they simply have to think about it. If they do not think about Earth by midnight that night, they will automatically be teleported back.
However, they will all return wearing a Cosmic Brooch. This brooch appears to have magical powers, but they do not seem to have manifested beyond teleporting them to the Celestial Theater, which is currently closed off from the rest of the Moon. Any Order character can earn this Brooch simply by thinking deeply about Cosmos and requesting her aid. If she is unable to answer, the brooch manifests and takes them to the Celestial Theatre, which shares a space with the Code. Vanguardians can earn this Brooch in the same way; once they visit, the brooch will become a memento they can keep, and they must wear it whenever they want to visit the Celestial Theater in the future. Anyone who attempts to visit with hostile intentions will be denied. Chaos characters cannot earn a brooch.
If you have any questions, please ask in the MQNA thread or PM The Space Cauldron!
Vela was tired and she felt like she needed a nap but she had nowhere to go, she didn't have a home she remembered anymore. She looked around the room and she wasn't sure what she was going to do. She thought of the person who had offered her help and she needed to find them so she could ask them about a place to stay and a job. They were the most important things to her, she had to find a way to move on with her life and put the pieces back together in whatever way she needed to. She figured it wouldn't be easy but she didn't think it was possible before that she would leave the negaverse. She had thought she was stuck in the darkness with no way out. She had gotten lucky to meet Kurma and Ganymede, she still felt grateful to Cadeus since he had in a way brought them all together allowing for the purifications that had happened. Vela just decided to ask since being the shy wall flower wasn't really her style. "Hey anyone have a place I could crash till I work things out?"
When midnight hit Lacaille was teleported home and went to bed she had work at the library she had missed and school work that she was going to have to make up so she wouldn't fail her classes at the university. Aurora hoped she could open her own bookshop someday but that day wasn't today.
Dejanria was teleported home when everything ended. She was so sore and tired that she went right to bed she hadn't had a chance to get healed but she figured she would heal in time and she would be alright. She was surprised to come home with the rainbow brooch. She smiled before she turned back to Michiko and went to sleep.
Silistra took a deep breath working up her courage and then she said "Umm if anyone needs a place to stay they can come home with me. Vela you can come home with me if you like." She offered shyly. She had enough room in her families home to house a lot of people and since her parents never bothered to come home she wasn't worried about getting in trouble, even if her parents came home they likely wouldn't care what she was doing with the house, they had other houses in the world and paying attention to Embly wasn't there thing they had nannies to do that sort of thing for them.

Namielle - Guardian Cat
"Hmm..." her ears flicked as the console attempted and failed to establish a connection to their homeworld. She shouldn't have been surprised, nor should she have felt disappointed, but somehow she felt that twinge of homesickness and sadness. Whatever had happened to Mau meant that even the Moon couldn't reach them at this time and she could only help that by some miracle the lack of communication was down to keeping everyone safe rather than a far worse fate!
"Maybe...we should come back fresh," she sighed, taking a seat as she chucked her little screwdriver back in to subspace. It was looking cleaner, but that didn't mean that she could make heads or tails of what was in front of her. It was safe to say that further research may be necessary, they might need to consult their own database and perhaps they might be able to update the device and repair it.
...Honestly if she could at least get the parts repaired she'd be happy.
"Maybe the Mauvian database will have something?" she hazarded and shook her head. She didn't want to play with it and completely break it, especially when it seemed like the senshi were beginning to ask for details of their homeworlds. Suffice to say the details hadn't been extensive, but if it could be used in this fashion then maybe[ it really was in their best interests to keep this thing functional and healthy.
"If we can get some blueprints, a list of parts, we can probably get it running a bit better and then we can see about the programming?" she asked thoughtfully. She was willing to work on this for as long as she needed to, but quite honestly she felt that perhaps some sleep would be of value at this point in time. She wasn't thinking as clearly as she would prefer and she didn't know if her fellow Mauvians were experiencing the same...

Cadet Valnyr
Unfortunately given Valnyr's size it was safe to assume that Aogashima's clothes would very much not fit her. However that didn't mean that they couldn't make it fit her. After all, her kind needed to use glamours... it was safe to say that even as positive as she was, the young alien knew that there were challenges with her normal appearance. She had seen some of the movies (or their trailers anyway), the occasional glimpse of a book or comic, and knew that anyone like her would have several issues if they were out in public...
"I would very much like that," she said after a moment and gave a nod. She knew of the Guardian Cats, there were several across the room discussing the battered technology, but to have an opportunity to converse with one was a new experience; and had Aogashima just said that her friend had once been stuck as a human?
How intriguing.
"It sounds like it will be fun," she added with a warm smile. A chance to learn a little more, a chance to 'be' human for a while...and perhaps in time, through these experiences, she might have an epiphany on how to save their world. Maybe she could save both worlds, synthetic and natural, it might have been an unrealistic aspiration, but it was still one that played in the back of her mind.
"But uh..." she furrowed her brow.
"How does one leave a place like this? There do not appear to be any doors," she admitted. "At least not doors that lead to anywhere outside."
She paused.
"And my species can't breathe in space, nor survive re-entering earth's admosphere so I'm not so sure swimming through space is a viable option." she finished.
Well. The computer was definitely out of date. And the senshi of the Kraken sighed, looking around. "I'm going to kidnap Caedus for tonight, if no one protests." she looked to everyone around. "I have space, and I'm already holding his hand, so I win." Her tone was exhausted, but she was trying to sound playful.
Next to her, the chibi Charybdis rose to her feet, moving over to Castor and pointing out Pollux on the floor. "He's breathing." she told the Royal cheerfully. "I think he's tired though. I just left him napping. They hit him a lot."
Pulling out her senshi phone, Scylla sent Encke, Pendour, Kerberos, and Oberon her civilian name, phone number, and an address. "That's where I'll be taking him and my civilian contact number. Just in case something goes wrong, or you decide to invade for breakfast. A good night's sleep will help us focus on the next steps, right?"
She sent a text to Beta, Bellatrix, Lepus, Skoll and Nephthys as well- including Puck and Megrez, who she hadn't seen after everything went down: Just so I don't forget that we need to have a meeting and start training and planning how to be a pain in Chaos' side as a group. Let me know when's good for you.
Then, Scylla would wait until Caedus was ready to get kidnapped.
“We’ll talk to her,” Lepus told Beta, leaving out the part where the talking might have to be done with her fists or something. She’d already declared she would personally fist fight the Negaverse to help bring Alpha back, so the general message was still conveyed! Sort of.
“Anyway, are you gonna be okay going back home on your own? I could probably tell my mom you’re a friend from school if you want to stay the night at my place. Even if you didn’t go to Crystal, though if you did that’d be kinda handy…”
Beta was only a couple years older than her, so there was potentially a time where they had both been attending the same school, right? Lepus could make up some sort of half-assed story if she needed to.
“You can like, hug Etoile and feed her snacks or something. I mean, not right now, because Hokkaido’s got her, but like. Yeah.”
Regardless of the answer, she’d hang out on the moon for as long as Beta needed, or until it kicked her out to go home, whichever came first.
"It's kinda like, um... you have to think about going home, like when we went to my wonder?" Aogashima explained, trying to think about the exact science behind it, "Well, I'm not sure how this is going to work, in this case, with the explosions and all, but I don't think we can get to Aogashima from here, either, so..."
They'd find out one way or another, right? Just to be safe, she reached out for Valnyr's hand again, in case it was like it had been for going to her wonder.

Super Sailor Skoll
There was a strong need to go to her homeworld now, see if something had changed, but that could wait. Hells it could all wait until they were safe back on Earth and Skoll slept for several days. Her senshi phone pinged and she sent a quick text back to Scylla of "let me check my schedule and I'll get back to ya". She frowned a little at the time and date and sighed softly.
"Let's head home... I need a hot shower and to sleep as much as I can before my shift starts... And maybe we stay out of the affairs of aliens for a little while, just until we're healed?" she said to Hati and Asmodeus with a tired chuckle. At least this level of insanity only happened once every like... five years so they had time. Maybe.
With that, the Senshi of the Pack winked out of existence.

He'd been gone long enough and Ezra was probably freaking the hell out now. He gave one last glance around the room and thought of home again. Not that he didn't like space or the moon, or this really neat little place, but he really needed to tell his boyfriend he wasn't dead.
Before he did something drastic.
Yeah, that was it, and not totally because he felt just a bit out of place. Nope.
