Alexander left the upstairs and went back downstairs to the Great Hall to watch the Dirt Blood peasants scurry around in order to get everything prepared for dinner. Emotions were plaguing him and he couldn't process them; he needed to sit down for a moment and think. Alexander felt depressed: he was stuck in the dining room while all the people he knew were getting ready by wearing fancy clothes and a few wearing jewelry while he was stuck among the peasants and wondering if he would ever achieve freedom. This dinner seemed to be a check point for depression with Alexander and couldn't help but feel a great inner hatred for the Dirt Bloods in this castle, even his friends. Thoughts raced through Alexander’s mind, voices of hatred and regret all of his own.
They're all content with their own lives, pampered and spoiled through theirs lives while I had to scrape by as a slave for fifty damn years! While they all treat this as a wondrous occasion, I'm stuck here while they all play dress up and I worry about my very life's path. It sickens me, they all do, and they don't understand what they have and how they were born with wealth. Contract or not, I will break this hold over my life and earn my place, getting past them all in wealth.
Alexander was being selfish, but he believed he had a right to be; he was poor and a slave, only the poor were allowed to be selfish in his eyes. The red eyes flared with Tou anger as he stared at the floor then to the servants preparing for the dinner to come. Alexander wasn't thinking properly like a Tou should, that was the dangerous part of being an Impure; Power of the Tou, but the uncontrollable emotions of a human. Without much thought, Alexander used his Levitation ability to grab a peasant woman's leg, causing her to trip face first into an empty bowl she was going to set, breaking the bowl and damaging her nose. Alexander needed to vent his anger before the dinner began, so he left from the chair he was sitting in and stormed out of the Great Hall in rage to his quarters. On his way to his quarters, his angered caused light objects he came in contact about six feet to slowly levitate up and then lower back down. During times of intense emotion, Tou often lost control of their powers and they became unstable, often resulting in odd occurrences from things becoming lighter, floating or becoming heavier.

Grant was a little uneasy with all the questions. "Weather I'm popular or not I can never find time to do anything but keep the castle safe." He said with a sigh. Hearing her mention his age Grant raised an eyebrow. "So what if I'm twenty eight? Men usually marry younger women anyways." Then Henna asked about his mother setting him up. This brought back a lot of memories of happier times. Times when his father was still alive. "This fitting is over." Grant said taking off the cloths and getting into his own. He then walked out of the room and towards his office wile thoughts of his mother and father ran thought his head. The whole ordeal brought up the one instance when Grants mother did set him up with someone. It was amazing how much fun he had with the girl. He couldn't remember her name but she always seem to have a smile on her face. He was planing on seeing her again. That's when his father came down with his sickness. That's when Grant became the home body and determined worker he is today.

Jewlet entered the castle grounds and looked around trying to think of which place to check first. She spotted Grant heading for his office. She followed after him. "Sir Grant." She said caughting up with him. "I am now able to take care of the letters." She wanted to ruub the ears but desided not to. "Are you well?" She looked at him with a worried face, but her voice was calm.

"Yeh, I'm fine." Grant said half into what he was saying. It seemed his mind was else where. "Please come with me." Grant made his way up to his office where he was filling out the nights orders for his men. Seeing as this was a special occasion only Grant was allowed to attend the event wile his men where on tightened security. "Have you seen Niro?" Grant asked as he sat behind his desk. Looking up at Jewlet Grant sighed. He still had Henna's words on his mind about not being married yet. "Jewlet, can I ask you something?" He motioned to the seat on the opposite side of the desk. "Please, have a seat."

Jewlet bit her tounge and nodded her head. "Yes sir." She frowned hating the way the air felt. She kept up with him trying to keep her mind from wondering off. She stepped inside the office after Grant. "No, sir I have not." She looked over at the chair and shut her eyes. "Yes, you may." She began to wonder if he was okay. She placed her hands in her lap and looked at Grant. Her mind was thinking to fast for her to keep up., just trying to find a way to lighten the air up a little.

Alexander was in his room trying to calm himself down by practicing his levitation through meditation. Tou often learned to control their emotions at early ages like ten or fifteen when their powers started to show. Since Alexander was sent away when he was five, he didn't get the chance to undergo the training required to control emotions and was stuck trying to control them himself. Alexander sat on his bed with his eyes closed. All around Alexander's room, anything with a light weight and not attached to the ground levitated up in the air and circled around his room clockwise. Alexander remembered to lock the door before me meditated, he didn't want interruptions.
Alexander went through many thoughts like he did before, but at the same time seek reasons why not to be mad at those thoughts and to ignore the voices. First the thoughts of freedom and how things would eventually work out. If he was lucky, one of the people he knew would get his contract or the contract would simply be undecided and he would be free. Worst case scenario was his contract would be signed over to someone self-centered, like one of the King's children. Alexander would gladly die over being a slave any longer and no meditation would drive him from thinking otherwise.

Leaning back Grant put his feet onto his desk. "I'm a twenty eight years old with a stable, well respected, job. I'm strong, can be well mannered caring, and most of all loyal. So my question to you is: Is it unusual for someone like me at this age to still be single?" Grant tried not to show to much concern at his question. The truth is that he had pretty much forgotten about the men's orders because of this question. He was obvious he was listening intently due to his ears both focused on Jewlet but he was also looking at all of Jewlet's movements no matter how minor.

Jewlet sat quietly and listioned. Her thoughts from before cleared away and new thoughts relpaced them. 'Hm. This is...' She put her hand on her chin. She thought until she knew what she would say. "No I don't think it is unusual." She put her hand down. "I am like you, single. But I am fine with my life this way, if someone shall come along..." She started to sound hopeful. "Then it will happen. I wont rush it." She smiled, this smile wasn't her usual smile, this was the smile she had when she was littler and her father was still alive.

Grant raised an eyebrow for a second as if in wonder before shaking it off. "I guess so." Grand smiled a looked down for a second. "I guess I was just getting paranoid when Henna said it was unusual. Thank you milady. Grant took his feet off the desk. "Now where were we? O right, the orders." Grant opened his desk and pulled out a letter before picking up a few others with solders names on them. placing the solders letters on the other one he handed them to Jewlet. "These are the men's orders." He said. what he didn't tell Jewlet was that he had written an invitation to her and put it in the letter at the bottom of the pile. "I will be leaving in an hour or so to go home and get ready for tonight's festivities. Will you be attending tonight?" He asked just to make sure she wasn't going with anyone else.

[Ugh, this is frustrating! Ok I had several people lined up to play the rest of the royal family. But for some reason they're either not on, or backed out. So now I have to find more people to fill in the spot. If any of you have friends that might be interested, please ask them. As for right now, the banquet will go on as plan. Though I might have to discard my character to play the royal family. Sorry for the inconvenience. stare ]

Jewlet calmed herself going back to her normal state. She shook her head and then said. "You are welcome." She stood up and brushed out her dress. She stood close to the desk and waited. She took hold of the letters and looked at Grant. "Okay." She looked at the letters and then back up. "Yes, I will be." She answered before she turned around. "I will see you then, Sir Grant." She turned back to him and bowed. Then she headed for the door.

Grant nodded. "Till then Jewlet." Grant said with a little smile. After Jewlet left Grant stood up and went out to the main hall to see how the festivities have been coming. Grant looked around the room and walked along the table of finger foods. Sneaking a few grapes Grant moved through the room. He noticed a few week points in security and thought about how he could upgrade it. I will need to put two people over there and maybe one up in the balcony. He thought as he continued though.

Jewlet quickly went on to take care of the job she had been told to do. She pulled out a letter and handed it to the knight. "This has an order from, Sir Grant placed in it." The man thinked her and she went on. One after another she got the letters delivered. 'Where is Niro?' She looked around walking around the castle grrounds. She sighed. 'What a mess.' She stopped and asked someone. She got a no. Putting her head down, she kept on.
