Akherontis If you are from Nordic folklore, that would make you either one of the Disir or the Alfar. Are you a Norn, a Valkyrie or a Fylgia? Or are you one of the Faerie Folk? The closest Scandinavian equivalent to a Wood Nymph off the top of my head would be a Huldra, or to a Water Nymph; a Nix. A nymph, by my rather loose definition is a minor nature goddess. I'm one of the Vaettir. I could go into detail about the 'races' in the Vaettir, but it's quite complicated.

It's like saying you're a Spirit, without specifying what kind. Vaettir's the Norse version of the word Wight, it's the catch-all term for spirits in general. I mean, the Vaettirfolk are divided into the Aesir, the Vanir, the Disir, the Jotnar, the Trolls, the Alfar, the Svartalfar/Dvuergar, the Landvaettir and the Sjovaettir. But I really don't think there's an exact equivalent to Greek Nymphai, unless you include the aforementioned subbreeds.

Okay, I guess you're right. Sorry about that. sweatdrop The reason I said that before was that I thought that sometimes exaggeration is kinda tough to work while trying to get the true essence of a Greek god (imo).
But in this case, it works. wink
