Billie walked causally around the festivities, their hair had been pulled up in loops to keep it from dragging on the floor and it was sort of cool? In a way? They wrinkled their nose. Ehh... but there was some cute plushies around.

Nashira seemed to find herself back at one of these festivals. Why did she go to these things? She wondered if Ares were here... and her mind wandered to his tales of his plushie canon, bringing a smile to her lips. She had to admit though, the specterfox plushies were adorable.
Onyx:
No sooner had Onyx stepped into the party did he suddenly find himself with a flitterat climbing his shoulder. He laughed, picking it up. "Well hello there. Finding a good perch?" He couldn't help but notice the familiar's colors were not unlike his own.
A lot had been happening lately. Ten couldn't believe what he had agreed to with Avalon and Sui... He thought he could take his mind off things with the festival, but when he saw some infant plushies, he wanted to run away.
Nole:
He wanted to make his partner happy, so Nole wouldn't stop texting Mika until he came. "Look!" He held up his fennikit. "He looks like you."
"Oh my god, Nole. That does not look like me." He huffed, petting the fennekit's head. "But it's cute."
Tristan:
Tristan was feeling really lonely this time of year, so he decided to check out the festival. He was going to check out the games, but before he reached the first one, he found a salamander clinging to his arm. He smiled and pet the familiar. "trying to cheer me up?"
A festival sounded really interesting, and maybe... Maaaaaaaaaaybe he could win something. Maybe something to bring to that cute demon he'd been talking to? Oh, how would Arthur blush getting a surprise gift like this? He was handed a plush nezubat and he grinned. "perfect."
Senna:
Senna was booooooooooored. This really wasn't his cup of tea, but the free food drew him in. He didn't really have a place for 'stuff' so trinkets and plushies just didn't make sense.
Lancer:
This was stupid. There were so many children, it was loud, and the older crowd already seemed to be a bunch of couples and lovers anyways.
Cashmere:
This was exciting! he'd never been to a festival before. There were so many decorations! He loved it!

Ioan wandered with Meadow a little, enjoying the atmosphere of the carnival. He was surprised with how much fun he was having, honestly. He'd expected to collect a few things, watch everyone else have fun, and go home with trinkets for his familiars, maybe a few new pets, and some candy. This was definitely not what he was expecting, in a good way. Maybe these kinds of things weren't so bad... He spotted a display of roses, and plucked up a bouquet with a grin, sniffing it.
"This'd be nice for the room." He said to himself, tucking it under his arm. Assuming one of his pets didn't try to eat the darn things...
It appears she had spoken too soon as the sight of a cute little pink Sealpup toy. Normally she wouldn't self indulge but she kinda needed it. This would be one secret she hid away in her bedroom never for any of the guys to ever lay witness too. Although she's pretty sure at least one of them wouldn't laugh at her for it. How could you not look at this little fluffy face and not melt. Reece smiled and squished it lightly before zipping it up in her back which was now at max capacity.
Bailey worried at her lip as the conversation petered out, her nervous energy coming back in full. Ravid seemed lovely- was this her fault? Maybe there was a way to re-energize this... So had to at least try. Conversations were a give and take after all. "So what sort of hobbies are you into? I've been trying to get into calligraphy lately. Can't say I'm very good yet, but I'll get there."
She waited as he paid. Hopefully they would get it soon. Eating would give them a moment to be able to think of some decent conversation starters.

Callixtus smiled. Paige seemed sweet- and about as nervous as he was. "Quiet sounds good. I like the celebratory atmosphere and all, but these crowds can be a bit overwhelming." He glanced about the, standing on his toes to try and see the food booths around. "Most everything seems to be either a sugarbomb, fried, or both. I think I see a place that has some corndogs?" He turned back at Paige's comment about sweaty hands. "Only about as sweaty as mine, I think."

Another stall with both familiars and plushies caught her eye. Originally, she'd wandered over to admire the salamanders, but the sight of the most adorable fennekit?? ferret??? plushie had her dead set on getting that instead. A couple rounds of the dart game they were running and she was the lucky winner of the most adorable noodle plush. Draping it around her neck, she tucked her flitterrat back into her pocket and carried on.

Feeling much better after laying in the plush pile for a bit, Narcissus hopped up and made a beeline for the refreshments table. He was thirsty and needed something good to drink stat! Groping about, he got a hold of a really shiny ring before he grabbed a drink. As he was admiring it, an older nightmare handed him a cup of punch. With a quick thank you, he sped off, ring in hand. He knew exactly who he was gonna give this to.

The aetherjelly plushies had definitely fooled her. She'd seen a couple of them scattered about on a table and had been worried that there was something wrong with them. As she got closer though, she had to laugh at herself. The booth owner certainly got a chuckle out of it. He handed her a pretty purple one and sent her off on her way.
It didn't take long to trek back and find one of the vendors that had suckers again. He got a different color and stuffed it into the new cockatriel's beak. Sighing, he started looking around to see if he could pawn the noisy things off on someone else. Maybe someone with their hands full? Within moments he spotted the perfect nightmare.
Kináed liked feeling Xenon settle in. The closeness warmed him down to his toes. Kináed tsked when Xenon's first attempt missed but cheered when the next one landed. His smile was ear to ear as Xenon was handed the ring.
"Oh." Kináed looked from Xenon to the ring as the Kumiho offered it. His first instinct was yes, but something made him stop.

1. Amaterasu was collecting plushies to give her boys, she didn't leave her work often, so she didn't have many chances to get toys for her freshlings.
2. Caraway hadn't stopped reading in a long time and she was here now at the festival taking a break from her books, which was rather rare for her. She didn't know many who understood her desire to read rather than spending time with others including members of her own family. She picked up the cute nezutbat plushie they would be a good thing to cuddle while reading.
3. Enju had been spending a little time at the festival and then he would be returning to his dorm room. He spent most of his time alone, he was really shy and didn't hang out with his family much. He picked up the strange looking plushie and hugged it. The plushie made him happy.
4. Ginger Clove saw a cute plushie, she figured she could take back to her shop with her.
5. Kaipo smiled at the familiar he spotted following him, he figured they could come home with him and it wouldn't be a problem.
6. Sugar Maple looked around she wasn't sure about playing with any of the other freshlings, she was still a little sleepy and nervous. She went and quietly asked for a bag of cookies. She then sat down to eat when a flitterrat came to her begging for a treat. Sugar handed the cute little familiar one of her cookies.
7. Nadiyya picked up the ring pop and put it in her pocket for later.
8. Hunter Jubilee didn't know what flavors he liked so he decided to save his ring pop for later.
9. Suiravi smiled shyly at the pretty black familiar he couldn't wait to show them to Avalon and Ten, the familiar was so sweet and pretty, he was excited and also wanted to write about the familiar for his writing class.
10. Gigi was sharing a fruit salad with a very cute flitterrat. She smiled and petting their head.
1. Vasanta picked up the ring pop and put it in her pocket, she was getting bored and planned to go back to her dorm soon.
2. Merton grabbed a drink and sat down, he liked it. It was fruity and tasted yummy.
3. Sabel picked up a cute plushie, she figured she would head back to her dorm room soon.
4. Sekhmet didn't notice the familiar following her, she would enjoy having some familiars to keep her company.
5. Elisedd noticed the familiars all over her, she blinked wondering why they were following her around.
6. Fizzle went to a game of bean bag toss, he tossed and missed many times, his luck was really bad, so bad the chimera running the booth felt bad for him and gave him a plushie.
7. Prochorus picked up a plushie from a shop, he smiled and walked off.
8. Guinevere frowned at the ring pop, she didn't really like candy, so she put the ring pop in her pocket instead.
9. Cordula picked up the plushie and walked off.
10. Ethie picked up a set of bells she found and jingled them enjoying the sound.
11. Noah still hadn't noticed his familiar friend following him when he stopped to play a game and won a plushie.
12. Aamu was collecting things and plushies at the festival.
13. Kudbi snuggled the plushie she won happily.
14. Glitter blinked at the familiar, she had once been that small, it was odd looking at the size she once was. She decided to take them back to her apartment with her everyone needed a safe home.
15. Patch was still hanging around the festival when she saw a pretty flitterrat she held out her hand to them and smiled when they came to her.
1. Gwen loved collecting plushies, it was her favorite thing besides science. So getting the pink plushie at the ducky pick booth made her so very very happy.
2. Camrine couldn't remember the last time she had gone out which was not good, she needed to get out more and spend more time enjoying herself. She picked up the strange looking plushie, it was cute though, perhaps one of her freshlings would like it.
3. Glykeria licked the super sweet ring pop and smiled.
4. Cimara bought a large plushie at a shop, he wasn't sure what to do with it perhaps take it home as a gift for his wife.

7. Caron looked curiously at the familiar, wondering why there were so many at the festival and if they really mated for life.
8. Caramel had his own bar now and he loved it, the freedom and ability to take care of his family meant a lot to him.
9. Wren was out with Cybelle they had been friends since they were freshlings, Cybelle was an inventor and Wren wanted to run a bed and breakfast when he graduated school. He smiled at the fennekit that came up to him. Wren was a gentle touch.
10. Cybelle gave the plushie he won to Wren, he didn't really care about plushies but he knew that Wren liked them.
1. Illusion loved magic, not the real kind, he liked pretend magic, like pulling a familiar out of a hat. He picked up a plushie wondering if he could do a similar trick with the plushie.
2. Malik squinted at the plushie he picked up he couldn't see very well, so he didn't really understand what he had found.
3. Caraway was planning to head back to her dorm soon, she grabbed the plushie and her things getting ready to go.
4. Shock looked at the shocking familiar and the shocking familiar looked at him in a battle of wills. Shock won but that wasn't surprising he was the top of the food chain here.
5. Nightshade picked up the plushie and held it close to her chest, she was a quiet soul.
6. Jonah put the ring pop in his pocket.
7. Chauski picked up the familiar and looked around thinking of heading home.
8. Micari picked up a very big plushie and figured she should head off rather than trying to carry it around.
9. Allium smiled at the flitterrat that landed on his shoulder he could use some company in his garden.
10. Turnip took a drink of the fruity soda it was pretty good.
1. Haruna could not see, she had her seeing familiar with her to guide her around the other beings at the festival. She went to a booth and asked for a drink and was given a bottle she opened it with the help of the being there and drank it was very sweet.
2. Salacia looked at the beautiful salamander it was very pretty, she didn't like many things beside herself but this familiar was one of them.
3. Sky leaned down and petted the pretty fennekit she couldn't wait to show it to her freshlings, the familiar seemed so sweet.
4. Helios picked up the ring pop and put it away.
5. Amethyst Mist had a familiar following her they seemed to be everywhere.
6. Irene picked up a small bell and jingled it.
7. Tabe picked up a bag of candy, she wanted to share with her siblings.
8. Yinzhen picked up the huge plushie and head back to her dorm room, it would make a good thing to snuggle with while she studied.
9. Tancred looked at the plushie he had won and then decided to head back to his dorm room to do more studying.
10. Eliot looked curiously at the familiar that he had found or who had found him, it was hard to say with a familiar. If they choose you or you choose them. He smiled and leaned down to pet the familiar they were pretty and cute. Eliot thought they could be friends perhaps.
Finally, FINALLY Benny managed to make it back to his booth, and it seemed as though his workers had been fine without him. Though they did take a look at the fennekins, flitterat, and other things he had managed to grab. It looked like they were about to say something to him about it, but instead he glared at them. "Not. One. Word." He said, before setting his things down and finding a couple of harnesses and leashes for the various familiars that had attached themselves to him.
Then he went about his day and was finally able to do the thing he had come here to do in the first place. Work at his booth selling breakfast food!
At long last! The entrance. She couldn't believe people were still pouring in. Unfortunately it was still a bit of a stroll back to the house and her legs and leash arm were getting tired. She tried to always chose walking over riding places but she caved and decided to pay up for the cart to take them home. Next time she was definitely taking Bark.. in trouble or not at least he was leash trained and didn't try to dislocated her shoulder. Reece was pooped but no naps till they were actually home. It is very hard to move a sleeping bunyip. They somehow weight a ton more unconscious.

Luma had finally made her way back to the entrance after checking in with the flitterrat tent. She had acquired quite the loot including a galaxy baby doll which might be her new favorite thing.
That being said the best part was having gotten some Hunter Jubalee presents for Crowley. She knew he said she didn't need to do anything but he should've known better than to believe she wouldn't shower him with presents. Plus she had to admit she liked seeing him all flustered upon seeing bags of stuff all for him. Once she had gotten a cart she separated out her things. The second purple cat, the ombre roses and the candy bark would all be gifts. The other plushes however were all hers.

No sooner had he pointed out that Fi had some familiars, did a fennekit start rubbing against Om's fleshy leg. He looked down at it curiously. How did one attract these things so?
"Hm. You know, if you're ever bored around campus, you can always give me a holler." He offered with a shrug. No reason this should be a one night friendship.
