A cluster of flitterrats playing atop a table was the next thing to catch her eye. They were all so cute, but the little yellow one was doing tricks and it had a tiny heart on its cheek. Her dad was going to kill her. But they were free and needed a home and she could use another one to play with her other five. . .
As she walked away withe the small yellow flitterrat she was certain her dad was going to murder her by the time this festival was over. First she signs him up for speed dating and now she's bringing home another two pets. Oh yea, he wasn't going to be happy.

He'd thought the flitterrat plushies were cool, but this fennekit was 10 times cooler. It was soft and blue and it was doing a little dance for him. Giddy, he danced along with the small critter. Narcissus was definitely bringing this home to show his siblings.

She wasn't one hundred percent sure why the health teacher had stuffed a doll into her hands and ushered her along, and she wasn't going to go back. It was pretty creepy looking, though the galaxy design on some of them was neat? The one she'd gotten hadn't been one of those. Instead it was brown with a plethora of designs on it. The bow and diaper were almost the color of her eyes though, so maybe that was it. Confused, she wandered away from that section of the festival in search of something better.
The introduction of a candy ring meant that the cockatriel was busy sucking on that and not screaming in his face. Valdis thought that was a much needed improvement. It did mean that it was clinging to his shoulder like some sort of deranged parrot though. He'd had to deal with a few scratches by the end of this but at least there wasn't any more screaming.

A fishing trip... "OH! Yeah! We should! Gosh, I can't remember the last time we went fishing. You were still in the academy, right? After the festival is over, we should start planning a trip." He nodded, slowly stopping his dance. "A day of fishing, then movies till we pass out!"
Xenon was content to watching Kinaed play, but he did want to try. So when the fallen turned to him, his cheeks flamed even brighter. "Ah... y... yeah. I think I'd like to try..." He glanced around as he stepped in front of Kinaed. "You'll help me?" He was trying to do that flirting thing. Quill said flirting was easy. Well, maybe his roommate found it easy, but Xenon was so horribly out of his element! He swallowed thickly. "Sh-show me how to play?"
As he spoke with Ursa, he found himself with another unexpected guest. "Salamander." He looked at the black and white familiar. "I do not know if Fi will like having so many familiars in the apartment suddenly..."

When the elf took his hand, Paige's mind blanked a moment. The anxiety and worry from a second ago melting away as they shook hands. "Oh... food? Sure. We can find a quiet place to sit and talk..." He gave a nervous little smile. This wasn't going to be too bad... right? So far he hadn't made a total idiot of himself... yet.

No sooner had she asked the little rattie about friends, did she find a salamander floating near by. The red and black familiar looked so much like her family. "Yup! You'll fit right in at home!"
Lucinda was pretty happy with her little trinket haul to the point she couldn’t even really remember why she was here in the first place. She especially liked the little aetherjelly plushies….so much so that she had to get one more.
No sooner had she said those words when another little flitter rat joined the first, both of them looking at her with wide little eyes and twitching whiskers. They were honestly just a little too cute to be mad at. Lucinda, on the other hand….she had to get her in line somehow. Hearing that Om was worried that this Fi person (who she assumed might be his roommate) wouldn't like having so many familiars in their place so suddenly made her frown, about to say something when she saw a concerned looking naiad coming their direction with a small menagerie of his own in tow. She just had to smile. "I don't think you'll have to worry about that, Om. Take a look." She motioned to the incoming naiad, hoping to also sate her curiosity with his arrival.
Fiyero had also found a pair of bell earrings along with the little ring, which had him wonder who was careless enough to lose them. Though, as he looked around, he saw these things in abundance…so they were likely replaced as quickly as they were acquired. Just then he saw telltale mechanical ears that he knew only belonged to one person. ”Om!” He excused himself from the miss that asked him for advice on familiars before making his way to where Om was. ”There you are…I was looking all over for you. I got worried for a moment when I didn’t see you.” This was nothing new; Fiyero was a worry-wart when it came to Om. As naïve as he was, it was hard not to imagine he could get into some sort of trouble without guidance.
Reece found herself side tracked by a side road she hadn't noticed on the first pass. She figured since she was headed out anyways it wouldn't hurt to stop and see what was this direction. Apparently this was the way to the flitterrat adoption stalls. She noted a purple naiad sitting in the middle of the pen. They seemed to have a way with the small familiars. Reece personally had never been a fan of smaller creatures like that. Growing up in her house anything that fragile wouldn't stand a chance. They did have one spectre fox but she doubted her mother realized she'd be having mostly boys when she brought it home. To be fair she wasn't exactly gentle with it either.

Ioan snorted a little at that, nodding and glancing to the fennekit trailing after him from earlier. "Yeah, I had a feeling I'd be carrying back more than I need..." He said with a quiet laugh, rubbing the back of his head with one hand. He spotted a game set up with a board of balloons, and headed towards it, looking back to Meadow. "I used to be good at this game." He said, curious. "Dunno if I still am, though..." It had been ages since he played in any sort of carnival games, but the balloons were always fun to pop.

Out of nowhere, another fennekin joined the two that were playing around! Really, how were all of these fennekin escaping anyway? He would have to have a talk with whomever was in charge of this event. They couldn't have all of these familiars running around everywhere to the point where they were following festival goers around. Especially him. And he couldn't get rid of it either considering he hadn't even been able to convince the other fennekin to go away.

Lin nodded his agreement. "Yeah, I think it was sometime before I graduated." He also stopped dancing to better converse. "That sounds amazing! A well-deserved break after our hard work." Lin's smile returned. "It'll be great to relax and have fun with you."
Kináed tried his best to hide a grin at Xenon's blush. It was adorable. He settled himself behind Xenon as the kumiho took his place to try. "Yeah, sure thing." Kináed eased himself closer. He went slowly so as not to spook Xenon. "It works best if you throw it almost like a frisbee," Kináed said with his hand showing the movement he meant. "That way it's more likely to land on a bottleneck, yeah?"

He smiled nervously as he settled against Kinaed's chest and let the fallen show him how it was done. His first try missed, but he managed to land the second and won a small ring. It was too large for his fingers. "Um... would you like a memento of this date?" He offered the ring to Kinead.
Om blinked when Ursa said he wouldn't have to worry. "Fi." He saw his roommate and gave a bit of a smile. "I did not know you were here. Fi this is-" He paused, every part of him going completely still for a few seconds before his head jerked to the side with a click. "-Ursa. Ursa, this is my roommate, Fiyero."

Meadow followed Ioan's gaze and grinned. "Oh, I used to rock at this game too. We totally should play!" He would have dragged the hybrid over if he hadn't gone up himself. Meadow paid for 3 darts himself, and after throwing them and popping 3 balloons, he found himself being handed a flitterat.
A couple of chocolates later and Kanda was in need of a tasty drink. To her delight, there was a vendor with tamune in it! Picking up a couple pretty mint bottles, she popped one open and drank it down before tucking the other bottle away for later. Her dad would probably like this too. Oooor maybe she'd just keep it for herself. The bottles were really pretty, even if she couldn't use it again after they'd drank their contents.

Once he and his new fennekit buddy had finished their dance, Narcissus plopped himself right amidst the line of kidden plushes. They were just sitting there nice and neat along the side of the dance floor. Without much thought, he grabbed a neat looking one to cuddle while he caught his breath.

Originally she'd been drawn to the booth for the long noodle plushes, but when she had seen a scattering of salamanders, Namida hadn't been able to resist. The most vivid of them came and curled up in her hand and within minutes she'd convinced the booth owner to let her have it. Carefully cradling it, she started to head further in to the festival. It was going to close soon, at least she thought so, but she wanted to see everything there was to see before it did!
Just as he thought that everything was going to be ok, lo and behold, another cockatriel started to follow him. He'd had to double check that it wasn't the same bird, but no, a quick glance showed that it was just a darker version of the one he already had stuck to him. It caught sight of the sucker in the other one's mouth and started screeching. Great, looked like he'd have to get another sucker to shut them both up. Hopefully he wouldn't have another one following him around before this was over. He definitely wasn't going to keep these suckers long. He didn't think Vusala would enjoy screaming familiars in his house for long.
Lucinda suddenly realized that she was quite thirsty. She wanted to ask Ursa for one of her Tamunes but someone was offering them up nearby, so she grabbed a random one and came back. "Hey, Ursa, how the heck do you open one of these things?
Ursa smiled at Fiyero when he came up to them, not sure what she expected but glad to see that he seemed to be more worried about Om's safety than the pets...especially when he had his own little menagerie. [ciolor=teal]"It's wonderful to meet you. My currently hyperactive friend right here is Lucinda." She rolled her eyes a bit and looked at the one-eyed girl when she asked about how to open the soda. "You take the plastic wrap off and push the top down so it releases the marble." She was pointing it out when someone handed her a little nezubat plushie with a wink, then scurried off. What in the world were people ON?
Fiyero was relieved to see that Om was with seemingly nice people, smiling lightly to the two ladies before bowing slightly in respect. "It's a pleasure to meet you as well." He looked to Om with concern at how he suddenly paused and started again. "Are you alright Om? Did something malfunction?" Someone handed him a plant with a message to let love grow or something of the like and headed off on their way before he could protest or ask questions.
1. Alexander smiled when he met eyes with the fiery little fennkit he thought it was a good omen that he would be able to become a firefighter when he grew up. He would have to figure out a way to make sure his fey wings were protected but he wasn't going to let that stop him. He gathered his things and headed off back to his dorm room.
2. Meila picked up the pretty pink plushie, she thought it would look nice on her bed in her dorm room which was where she intended to go now.
3. Marco grinned that the plushie he had bought it was really cute and now he was going back to his dorm room to put it away.
4. Ledie was looking under one of the booth tables after she heard a sound and there she saw a cute fennkit it was the cutest one she had ever seen in her life. She smiled and held her hand out to them to see if they would pick her. She needed to get this special friend back to her dorm room so she could care for them.
5. Sign was tired of this he grabbed the plushie and headed back to his dorm room to practice his music.
Stella entered the festival grounds she didn't have much time to play and hang out but she wanted to try with what time she had left. She looked at the ring toss game and she did her best to make a ringer which wasn't as easy as it sounded since she had hooves for hands. She managed to get one ring and won a little bracelet.
Twixy looked around the festival he was curious about everything he was still learning about his new home, trying to figure out the ins and outs of things. He saw a cookie stand and started walking that way a familiar following behind him.
Pollux was a happy guy he loved just about everything including the small plant the imp gave him, he smiled brightly and thanked them warmly.
Magi didn't really know what to do with a plant, she didn't have a green thumb so she was worried when the fey gave her the plant to care for.
Aelius Jr found a plushie laying around he picked it up and cuddled it smiling softly.
Enju went to the refreshments table where he found the pretty bracelet, he picked it up and put it on his wrist.
Alecto had just gotten up from his nap, he loved playing drums and taking naps it was basically how his life went. Eat, nap, and play drums. Oh and he went to his classes sometimes. He picked up a ring pop and looked around the festival. It looked pretty kool but not his kind of music.
Amalthea was still a little bit shy, but she liked gaming and she enjoyed going to festivals for short amounts of time, which was why she had arrived to the festival late. She looked around for something to do and spotted a game of darts. She went over and picked up the darts and took aim to pop the balloons. She popped a few and won a pink plushie from the blue nixie running the booth. She smiled and thanked them before heading off.
Avocado was about as happy as he could be he loved his life and he was working towards his dreams, he wanted to fly someday and he didn't intend to give up anytime soon. For now he was going to have some fun. His favorite color was green which was why he picked out the green plushie from the shop.
Silver frowned looking at the strange plushie she had found what was it suppose to be??
