Corrupt Super FulguriteThe first rule of Destiny City was that there was always something ******** happening. Fulgurite had long since accepted that as truth, especially because nine times out of ten he could trace the source. Negaverse gonna Negaverse, after all. That was why he was here in the first place. (And why he couldn't leave, couldn't chance Orah and Dad to whatever ******** would happen next--) Well, maybe not here, specifically. The ******** was this void s**t he got sucked into? He had just been trying to fulfill his obligate powered time of the week, and then there was a portal, because of course there was, and there were some monsters attacking some other big monster. Not youma, in specific, he spotted some agents around that likely could have gotten them under control otherwise... What was he supposed to do? Attack the big monster? Or the small ones? Were those other portals that occasionally popped up stable enough for him to return home? He was able to teleport, he'd figure it-- Ow, the ********, crystal blasts, fair enough. So the big monster needed to go. Sure. Were the smaller ones on his side? Seemed unlikely. That he doubted. And, of course, it was decided he needed to help defeat the big inky monster and stop the smaller ones by some stroke of fate-- Fulgurite grumbled and hoped the chill of the water of the attack he summoned might end this faster. He knew patrolling at all was a bad idea... He needed to get back home. ---------------------------- Super Sailor HydorHydor had heard of some strange things happening during the Star Festival. Fairies, heat waves, some tabloid nonsense about a cryptid of the reservoir-- While the strangest events in Destiny City tended to take place in October and December in his observation, the Star Festival was starting to deserve its own mention. The fact that he went from patrolling to feeling a strange pull into a portal and then toward an apparent giant youma felt like it was reinforcing that. Or not a youma? There was no energy signal he could feel. Great. A new threat. Just what he needed. He let out an exasperated sigh, which might have seemed like an understatement if he wasn't already tired of all these holiday and festival happenings. Sincerely, he wished he could set them all on fire. Or drown them. Maybe figure out how to convince the Destiny City Council that acknowledging holidays was just a bad idea... He wasn't really sure that would fix the problem, though, if the magic in this city was the way it was... For now, though, what he had was getting rid of that large monster. Maybe the rest of the ones around it, too. He needed them all to go the ******** away. As a treat. "Hydor's Cyclone," was murmured under his breath, as he attempted to ignore the way the claws swiped at his side. He wanted no part of whatever thing was happening here. What he needed was for this to stop.

Rainier - Page of MercuryThe search for her friend had led to yet another dead end, but true to her word, Rainier still checked in with the Senshi of Prayer, Acrucis. They had been in mid-conversation with a rift opened beside them. It was at that moment her instincts as Police Officer kicked in; don't think, just do. In one swift motion, she grabbed hold of Acrucis' arm and pulled her away from the sudden danger that erupted beside them. Momentum, in turn, had seen them switch places, placing her; the Senshi of Prayer on the ground where she once stood while she instead stumbled forward. Kissing concrete would have been a kindness but instead, the gripping force that accompanied the sudden rift had lifted Rainer of her feet and into the darkness. Suddenly she was falling; for how long, she wasn't sure. But without warning her body collided with something rather solid; it moved, shifting beside her, and only when it finally spoke did she realize that it was a him and not a thing. "Ugh..." Rainier groaned. Squeezing her eyes shut for a moment, she applied pressure to her temples to try and stymie the thrumming headache that felt like it was about to break her skull from the inside. It took a moment, but finally, she opened her eyes and stared at the offered hand for a long moment before accepting it. The room- the whatever the hell this place was... it spun as she rose to her feet. Rainier held on to the Squire until things settled comfortably around her. Again she groaned "Ugh... yeah- I'm fine." A lie, but given the chaos around them, things were likely to become a lot worse. "Are you ok?"

Lt. Zultanite
The goings on of the pair shrouded in the trialing hems of Kama's bright kimono, none of his business; if he peeked enough to catch a hint of the look leveled the Eternals direction. Best that it wasn't aimed at him. He simply whistled low and turned his sights on all the chaos going round. It took enough focus as it was, just to maintain standing on the shifting ground as the air howled like a hurricane...
And then there was Kama speaking just above that din. The wash of Auras and Energy blasts going off before being briefly eclipsed by the sucking rays of the miniature sun.
That? Zultanite decided, deserved a round of applause, good on the Eternal for speaking up n taking charge! "Good one," simple praise shouted up for the cry to order, the attack that followed, people seemed to be up in arms and rallying! Zultanite put his back to the flare as he spoke, shutting his eyes against the warned glare, "now let's get the ******** out of here, shall we?"

Lieutenant ReiditeReidite didn’t care if Cymophane was a fully grown Eternal! He would still carry him if he had the chance!
He growled to himself when Cymophane rejected the suggestion, but took the die back from him as he sucked in a breath, two seconds from flipping out over how Cymophane was going to get hurt. His own weapon almost hurt Cymophane!
Maybe he just needed to remember to breathe.
And stumbled a little as Cymophane knocked him out of the way of the gargoyle. But that was okay. That meant Reidite could punch the creature until it burst into nasty, sticky tar. And then yell at it in Russian curses.
It was all he could do to stay sane until they figured out a way to escape.

You’ve done it. The combined effort of the unwilling citizens of Destiny City and the gargoyles have finally had an impact. The oversized monster is reeling; it can’t get proper footing. Every time it tries to attack the group, someone found a weakness. The gargoyles are swarming the crystal at its chest, biting, clawing, tearing to try and free it. The giant was distracted for a while, but desperation could only fuel it for so long. Its ankles tangled. It fell. It was strange, like time slowed down. There were a few seconds for everyone beneath it to scatter and avoid being crushed alive. It twisted as it neared the ground, trying to shield the crystal in its chest from the swarm of angry monsters. With its other hand, it tried to grab at something, anything, to slow the fall. It grabbed at the folds of reality itself, and it tore a hole into it. The dimension itself flapped like fabric in the wind as a great passageway opened up. To Destiny City. You recognize it. You can see familiar buildings. The streets seem empty, but the Star Festival Decorations are dancing lightly as the wind blows from one realm to the next. It’s your way out. Your only way out. Because, the second the giant hit the ground, chest first, the crystal in its chest shattered into a million little pieces, spilling into this dimension and out into Destiny City. As it hit the ground, the platform trembled, strong enough to knock someone off balance if they weren't being careful. A hollow screech echoes; the creature begins to dissolve. The gargoyles flock to gather the scattered crystal–and to escape. For good reason; the smaller tears are rapidly closing. The passage way out of this place is closing. You wanted your way out–it’s there. Just closing. Quickly. Quote: The monster has been defeated! Except, the crystal shattered when it hit the ground and it seems like it might have had something to do with keeping this place stabilized. The ground is trembling, and all of the smaller rifts seem to have closed up. The gargoyles seem to have lost their interest in the people--they are screeching and howling and seem to be divided between tearing at the fallen giant on the ground–and trying to escape through the passageway into Destiny City before it closes up. One thing is clear– you need to get out before it closes up, or you’re going to be trapped here forever. Oh, and maybe you should try to stop some of the monsters from leaving, if you can. They could probably cause a lot of harm in Destiny City. Quote: If a player wants to interact with one of the attacking creatures, they can puppet it doing so! The creatures cannot speak but might growl or roar; they will attack with their talons and sharp teeth. They can fly short distances but it seems difficult for them to get too much air. They do not seem to get along and may attack each other as well as characters; they have no energy signature and seem like they only care about picking up the shattered crystal from the fallen giant or escaping into Destiny City. They do not seem magical, though if they are attacked with great ferocity they will explode into a sticky black tar, not unlike what seems to be covering the surfaces in this strange pocket dimension.
Characters may choose to confront the creatures in an attempt to prevent them from escaping, but this isn't necessary! Characters should be making an effort to escape themselves, though; ICly all characters will have escaped by the closing post and no one will be trapped in the strange pocket dimension. Even if you miss this prompt or post your character doing something else, the ORP close will have everyone evicted safely.Players must put their character’s name and a link to their journal at the top of their posts. This ORP ICly takes place on Saturday, July 3rd so it is forward dated to the last day of the event. ICly it will last for about an hour. Characters who have been sucked through the strange rifts will be able to participate in an upcoming prompt but cannot join just yet. The closing prompt will be posted on Sunday, July 3rd. The ORP is closed to new characters; you can only play ones that joined before this prompt! There are no repercussions if a player misses a prompt. Any player who participates with any character (or characters) and writes at least 500 words will be eligible for rewards at the end of this roleplay; playing multiple characters will not yield multiple rewards so you only need one to participate. The closing prompt will be posted sometime after 8 PM EST on Sunday, July 3rd, along with the winners of the Rehoming Concept Contest!

Sailor Surtur, DSS of Desolation As relieved as Surtur was to see Ymir -- AH! Even more so now that Ymir seemed to snap out of the stupor he was in and recognized him as well. He flashed the other Senshi a smile, but his expression returned to something more serious.
It seemed as though the giant creature had been defeated, but everything else was trying to escape and get into the city that he’d arrived in before.
“We must escape. We shall combat any creatures that have escaped as well,” he decided and pulled on Ymir’s wrist to lead the way. “We shall talk later! Right now we must leave!”
There were plenty of questions Surtur had for Ymir too, of course. Such as if he was okay and had he been taken to the same world he had. He was relieved. And also angry. Because there were so many Senshi and Knights here. And he could feel Chaos soaked into everything. Why hadn’t they come to help? Why did they all flock to Earth when his world, and possibly others, were suffering?

Ilian JonesThe kiss wasn't a surprise, and Ilian lifted his hands to place over Lovely’s on his face. Lovely probably knew he’d been about to argue that he did not always get into trouble. Trouble just happened to find him and he decided to fight back.
Like now.
He knew he couldn’t risk the chance of anyone in the White Moon discovering his or Lovely’s identity, but he wasn’t going to just stand around. He tried powering up again with no luck. That was fine, he would just have to use what he had.
As instructed, and because they obviously knew what Kamacite’s magic was capable of, he closed his eyes, and pulled Lovely close so he could shield him as well, an arm around his back, and his hand over Lovely’s eyes for extra protection.
It seemed as though that was all that had been needed. Everyone to organize for a moment to take down the giant-- whatever it was.
The smaller creatures and trapped people were now making a break towards the opening in the… other dimension. It reminded him a bit of Niter’s magic.
“Come on, we have to get out of here,” he growled, tugging at Lovely so he could start moving towards the opening.
Except Ilian didn’t make his way through. Not yet.
There were still Negaverse Officers that needed to get out. And there were monsters getting into the city.
He grabbed one of the gargoyle’s legs and yanked it backwards, away from the opening. It shrieked its displeasure and swiped at him with its claws, but he jumped back before it could do him any damage.
“I’ll catch up to you,” he promised Lovely. He wasn’t about to leave until he made sure everyone else was getting out. If someone in the Negaverse was hurt, he was going to help them.
He was just going to ignore the fact that he was in his pajamas still.

Corrupt Helena, Senshi of WitHelena wanted to argue. Desperately wanted to argue. And it would have been easy to argue…easy to say that hitting him sounded simple. Sounded wonderful. Easy to claim that if she continued to attack him perhaps all of this would be explained and she would wake up from whatever kind of a fever dream she had fallen into but.
Wrenching her fist away from his hand, the senshi gave a snarl. “I don’t think you’re in any position to try to tell me what to do. You’re the one who brought us here, and it’s obviously your fault.” And if she couldn’t get back to Mirzam, her girlfriend was going to have a lot of worry, and that was the very last thing that Helena ever wanted to cause was worry. She wouldn’t leave. She couldn't. And getting kidnapped into literal Hell wasn’t…
It wasn’t something that she could be blamed for…at least…at least that was her hope but.
Her eyes flickered to the open rifts and she thought quickly, taking in her chances. It would…be great if she could simply…
“I do want to fight about this. Very much so. I don’t like you and I hope that I’m making that abundantly clear. But, I will allow you to assist me in leaving.”
And so saying, she leapt onto his shoulders and then kicked herself off of them, using the speed to propel herself closer to the rifts.
She didn’t care if he got out, and if her kicking off of him caused him to fall and get stuck here well.
Good riddance.
At least she had someone back home who was waiting.

DMC Morpheus Morpheus ran with the others to the exit, he knew he had the strength to get out and would make sure the others in the group make it out as well. He hit monsters and kicked them as he went and then picked up a yawning civilian on his way since no one had helped her that he had noticed. Since the dark mirror court wasn't evil he saw no reason not to help her. Civ VainiaVainia was confused by everything that was going on and she was more so confused when a man picked her up and ran with her in his arms. She must still be dreaming.

Alexander Ortiz | Unawakend Senshi Telesto of PressureNone of this made any sense, and what was that huge thing?! It looked like something out of a cartoon when he was a kid, except bigger and worse, and, more importantly, real. He really hoped this was a dream, but the cut on his arm told him that it wasn't. He still kind of hoped. What he did know though was that dream or not, he needed to get out of here, and so did everyone else. Thankfully it seemed some folks were getting that same picture. Also, some folks could do magic?? He knew he had heard at least one person shouting about magic and trying to organize an attack. If this was a dream, why wasn't he the main character of his own story? Weird. Still, it was time to go. "We have to get moving, sorry!" Alexander said quickly. Both arms flung to wrap around both of his nearby new friends, and his legs started moving. Between the wind and the fear, he was making good time. It was good time running towards the giant gargoyle monster, but honestly that seemed to be what the plan was. Most of the smaller creatures didn't engage, but some took swipes at him and his companions. It wasn't until he had gotten into the larger cavern with the big creature that he stopped. Well, dropped was more appropriate. His arms released what he was holding and immediately flung to the front, right in time to catch another creature that had lunged for him. Sharp claws dug into his arms, thick tail beating against his sides. "I got it! Go, go! Get out of here!" He shouted at his allies, trying to push the creature and stand through the shockwave of the big monster falling. "It doesn't look like it will hold for long, I'll be right behind you!" He had no clue if that was true. Really good time to wake up from a dream though. Quote: He went for the old lift and run, but up to you if he managed to actually carry you!

Spei, Page of the Moon Spei started moving, hoping the other Knight would follow, when he watched the giant monster succumb to the attacks and fall to the ground (or what passed for ground in this place), ripping a massive hole in the darkness.
Back to Destiny City.
"This is our chance! RUN!" he shouted to the other Knight, and took off for the huge rift, which even now was starting to close up again. The gargoyle creatures were too occupied with the shattered crystal in the beast's chest to pay any attention as he bolted past with the girl on his back. One of the creatures clattered into him, nearly knocking him over; it was only his parkour training that kept him from completely losing his balance on the suddenly unstable platform.
"Hold on!" he ordered the girl, and leapt through the rift.

Sailor Koeia, Deep Space Senshi of Miracles The ancient senshi continued her battle not a scratch on her, she was thankful for the the small miracle that her magic was functioning as it was supposed to be tonight. As she beat down a monster she could tell she did not have the energy to continue calling on her magic. Unfortunately she did not have the power she had millennia ago now so she would soon need to join the bulk of the crowd that was racing for rifts back to the planet Earth.
She was thankful the giant monster that had appeared on the battle field seemed to fall under a restless assaults from the a mixture of some of the crowd and some of the smaller monsters that had swarmed the larger one.
When the last of her magic had run out Koeia delivered one last hit to a monster and turned to run for the rift. The rifts where closing now with the monster's fall so she had to be quick the senshi just making it through.

Super Sailor Ara, Chibi Senshi of Illumination Ara watched continued fighting the monsters as a great wind began to stir up. It was so strong she had to sheild herself against it. It was hard to see properly or even stay up on her feet as the temptest raged around her. She squinted against the wind as she saw a massive creature force itself through the large rift. It had a large glowing crystal in it that seemed to be what was attracting the monsters to it as the creatures flew towards the monster.
Ara didn't know what the monster would do but she didn't want to take in chances with it. She felt compelled to fight the monster as she turned towards it and called on her magic "Infinite Light Parade!" She sent motes of light to blast the monster back. It was not thje first time the young senshi had faced down titanic monsters and she was not afraid of this one. The teenager charged and attacked the behemoth.
As she was attack the beast she felt a shift as the creature began to fall its crystal shatter. The monsters attacking it along with the members of the group that had been brought her who turned their wrath on the giant had brought it down. However it was clear now the realm was unstable. Ara knew she needed to get out of her now, she looked around for a rift to escape through. She spotted one but it was rapidly closing she needed to act fast, she raced towards the rift and dove through. Infinite Light Parade Six motes of light appear in the air behind Ara and fire toward her opponent(s). The blasts of light knocks an opponent back and blinds them and can at the other player's discretion leave a cut and burn where the light hits them (As a chibi the cut and the burn are minor). Uses: 3 Duration: 25 seconds Reach: 7 feet

Mlinzi, Order Guardian CatNo one answered the cat's indignant yowl, they were all seriously busy surviving. Fair enough. But that didn't make the cat any less annoyed or any less confused. Where did the dog go? What about the truck? Where was he and what was that tall fellow? Were those flying creatures youma? They didn't look like it honestly, but since everyone was attacking them that had to mean that they were bad right? Right? "Hey! Hey! Do you know what's going on?" The guardian cat ran up to a senshi that seemed to be heading somewhere fast. They probably knew where they were going which was great for Mel because he sure didn't, heck he didn't even know where here was! His questions though became a moot point when things just kind of s-l-o-w-e-d down for a moment. The tall fellow fell, breaking into large sparkly chunks. His collapse rocking the ground and it would have bowled the cat over if he wasn't already on all four feet. "Ewwwww," The kitty wrinkled his nose but was quickly distracted by the scene that had opened up with the fall of the, not green at all, giant. "Hey! Its the city! We should go this way! This way I tell you! I know where that is, no clue where here is!" The tear was closing almost as fast as it was opened. Mel had to get out of there, there was no pizza here as far as he could tell! One could not LIVE without pizza! It just wasn't done! "Come on, lets go!" lyricalballads Your welcome to ignore Mel XD
