His belly full, well overfull, Zelig went towards the door to the North and surprise surprise he ended up in the Kitchen again.
Looking about he sighed, he was backtracking. This was getting frusturating. He wanted out of this madhouse, but he wanted to avoid the clown rooms the most. Waving the hot fetid air in front of his face he instantly regretted it as the clump of black suddenly broke apart and flies went everywhere!"Get off!" he said through clenched teeth. He covered his nose and mouth as best he could and stumbled to the other side of the kitchen. Able to catch his breath he bent over and tried to relax. It took a few moments but he felt better, stood up and saw it. Another key! There on a rusted hook hanging next to a slab of gross and putrid looking meat or what was meat. Grimacing he reached out the grab it but the flies flocked to him, he screeched a bit, grabbed the key and ran back to the closest door to get out of that disgusting room!
"Have to report this place to the Health Board! That kitchen is beyond gross. he muttered as he stepped through the door to find.........

Eywa's comment made Roshan pause and stare at one of the cocoons. There couldn't possibly be a real person in there, right? "I'm sure it's just... magic." Roshan couldn't suppress a shiver despite their assertion.
They had to get their mind off the thought. Roshan picked up on something else Eywa had said as it honestly did pique their curiosity. "Routine?" Roshan asked to confirm what they heard. "You perform something? Is it a comedy act?" Roshan figured it made sense based on how the adult had been making jokey comments.
Roshan opened the door to their east, curious about what was behind it and knowing they had to move forward somehow.

Zeerah slowly slid down the door, landing with a soft 'thump' as he hit the floor, his legs sprawled out in front of him. Damn, this was getting exhausting. Looking around he realised that, well, he couldn't look around. Back in the dark hall? He'd gotten so turned around in the last few rooms that it was almost a relief to be somewhere familiar. ''Spose I got no choice but to keep truckin'.' He thought with a small amount of reluctance. Grunting as he lifted himself to his feet, he heard a soft scratching on the other side of the library door. Stock still, it took him a moment to realise the noise was probably coming from something friendly - the vespercat! Making a 'my bad' face, he creaked the door open ever-so-slightly, giving the familiar enough room to slip out. "Sorry bud, that's what ya get for bailin' on me in the first place," He mock-scolded.
Sick of treating everything so hesitantly, he threw his chest out, spun on his heel and confidently strutted in the direction he hoped was south. After a few hard, sure steps he walked- squarely into a door. With a loud thud and groan of pain, Zeerah took a moment to clutch his face. "Yeah, that makes sense," He conceded, before yanking open the offending door.

When compared to the inside of the crypt, the graveyard was positively pleasant. The trio of Nightmares took a moment to breathe, then continued on the way they hadn't come from originally, Bo holding their keys tightly in his fists.

"Magic....right. You're probably right." Eywa hoped that Roshan was right. They couldn't imagine they'd actually kidnap people and put them in those things...just for a haunted house. The very notion that they were even considering that was a possibility gave credit to how well they had put this all together. When Roshan inquired about what they performed, a broad grin spread over their face. "That's right! I'm studying at university to be a comedian....as well as religion and worship of the Nine so that I may serve at one of the temples." They felt that the younger hybrid was rather astute and it was something good to focus on instead of the creepiness surrounding them. The door was a welcomed sight and Eywa only hoped the inside was better than walking through sticky threads.

Reynard
“Ahem.”
A voice coughed from behind Xenia. Standing no more than a few feet away, a three-tailed Kumiho leaned against one of the glass walls. He appeared to be costumed as a sleazy carriage salesman. Or maybe that was his usual attire.
He waggled his eyebrows at the chimera, pointedly remarking on her keys and the mangled doorknob in her grip with his gaze. Then he removed the lit cigarette from between his teeth and offered her a grin. “Good evening. My name's Reynard. Places like this are a dime a dozen, aren't they? This is the fifth one on this street alone. Such an out-dated concept too. I mean carnival games, clowns, and tacky jump scares? Yeesh. Personally, if it were up to me, I'd bulldoze the whole building and open up a paid lot. Monetise a bit of that spooky spirited nostalgia.”
Reynard took another pull of his cigarette. “Speaking of business,” he said casually, as though nothing in the world could be more natural. “I couldn't help but notice that you look a little lost. I've been around the block a couple times already, and well... I'd have to be a monster not to offer my assistance. So, I tell you what. I'll cut you a special deal and show you the way out. I can tell you're a very discerning type and know the value of discretion.
“So, what'll it be, sweetheart?”
a) Pay Reynard and escape north of the Hall of Mirrors. b) Pay Reynard and escape east of the Hall of Mirrors. c) Pay Reynard and escape west of the Hall of Mirrors. d) Buy a key from Reynard for 500,000,000,000,000,000 gold crowns.

Witch's Wicked Lair
It takes some time for your eyes to adjust to the dim light of candles. A dewy fog carpets the floor, seemingly coming from a bubbling cauldron in the corner. Bones and stuffed dolls hang from the ceilings, the walls lined with jars of eyeballs, tongues, and other indistinguishable horrors. You have to be careful to avoid knocking over dusty book piles and torn parchments.
SEARCH [1d8]
1: You find a key! 2: You open an old chest to have a dark figure jump at you. On closer inspection, it is a soot-coated vespercat that seems to be happy to be out of confinement. (Claim one of the familiars below!)
3: You bump into a table, causing one of the tomes to fall open on the floor. Spirits fly up from the pages, letting out tormented howls. 4: You stop to look at one of the jars, only to have the dozen eyeballs floating in the mysterious liquid swivel and stare back at you. 5: With a hissing noise, the bubbles in the cauldron begin to grow in size and gain shape. The figure begins to ooze towards you. Run! 6: One of the dolls falls to the floor, twisting its left leg as it lands. Your own leg suddenly seizes up in agony, and then, just like that, the pain is gone again. 7: You can’t help but look at one of the parchments covered in markings. The runes seem to burn into your eyes. 8: You find a key!

Dark Hall
A long hallway stretches before you… or at least you have to assume as much. The corridor is so dark you cannot so much as make out what is right in front of you. All magic spells fizzle, and all traditional methods of light fail. The glowing marks that occasionally appear on the walls are your only landmarks.
North: An ominous door. East: The way is blocked. South: Continue. West: The way is blocked.

Dungeon
The stone floor is slick and uneven with dark puddles gleaming in the torchlight. Cages line the walls, many of them containing fragmented skeletons. Chains, nasty hooks, pronged rods, and other malicious instruments fill the room.
North: The way is blocked. East: The way is blocked. South: A set of stairs going up to an ominous door. West: Continue…? A tunnel has been dug out of the wall.

Decrepit Graveyard
The night air is still and uncomfortably quiet. Even under the full moon, the shadows cast by the graveyard’s headstones are too long and too dark. The dead branches from the surrounding trees and hedges grasp at you like clawed, bony fingers.
SEARCH [1d10]
1: You find a key! 2: In the distance you hear a lonely howl that curdles your blood. A few seconds later something growls behind you, much, much closer. 3: You find yourself unable to move as vines grow up around your ankles and pull you down towards the earth. 4: A plastic pumpkin container lays overturned on the cobblestones… Looks like someone left it behind by mistake. It still has some candy inside! 5: There’s a rustling from a nearby tree, and a black shape bursts out. It dives towards you, then rushes past, and settles on a headstone with a croak. From there, it regards you smugly. 6: In the middle of the path, a ghostly spectre materialises in ragged fluttering robes. It passes through you and leaves you chilled to the bone. 7: The earthy mound in front of a worn gravestone shifts, and a gnarled hand erupts from beneath. Something begins to claw its way to the surface. 8: Hushed whispers follow you throughout the graveyard, whispering secrets no one could know. There is a sudden shriek, then silence. 9: Something strokes your hair and down your neck. You hear a cackle, and your shadow slithers away in to the darkness. 10: You find a key!
North: The way is blocked. East: An ominous door. South: The way is blocked. West: Continue.
