A NemesisSoquili That Needs a Rival: Euthyphro - UncertGender Preference: Female What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? One of his prized star charms. Short IC Response: He seems reluctant to offer up his star, and after placing it down quite nearly takes it right back.
"This is silly," he mutters as he glances up toward sky. "But I suppose... Even if there's nothing to it this could serve as a bit of motivation. Couldn't it?" His eyes wander back to the charm at his feet. It would be missed. He would hate to loose it in vain.
"I am surrounded by many a good listener, and many who are willing to talk long into the evening... but they are all too similar to me or too keen to agree. I wish to meet someone who is quick witted and coarse. Someone who can challenge my logic. One who can confront everything I take for granted and shake my beliefs to their very core. Already I am growing too comfortable with what I know. Little star, help me change it all."

A Nemesis Soquili That Needs a Rival: Kaz'kah and his FamiliarGender Preference: Female What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Mouse bones. Short IC Response: He had carefully collected them all night. The tools he would need to see into the haze. Gingerly held in his mouth was his small prizes. He was careful not to grind his teeth against them as he trodged up the hill. Kaz'kah was almost ready to make his offering. The heavenly orbs shone above him but one seemed to rise to meet him on the crest of the horizon. The whispers had carried on the breeze of the power of this star and its powers. These powers he would like to claim for himself. He stopped at the crest of the hill, just bellow the star. Stooping his head in a respectful bow he let the pieces fall from his mouth. The bones clattered to the ground, spreading out in a pattern on the ground. A tiny mouse skeleton spelled out symbols that formed a message to him from the spirits. "Masta' spirits. Ya be most wise." He nodded as he studied the patterns. "Ta best continue ma training as a warrior I be needin a rival. Someone who can be testin ma strength." He turned his gaze back to the star above. "I present ya with da bones of the spirits. Grant me da honor of a rival to challenge me so I can become da most powaful troll." He closed his eyes for a breef moment then with another bow of his head turned and headed back down the hill.

XxXLink to approval post of the owner of the other parent: XxXWhat does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? The blanket from his back and, a feather from Tsu's hair. Short IC Response: Lijep fidgeted, his blue orbs focused on that one big, bright, beautiful star shimmering in the sky. To the stallion it felt like the star called to him..spoke to him. After making sure no one could see or hear him Lijep moved closer. With a deep sigh he carefully tugged the beautiful blanket from his back, and pulled the pretty feather he had received from his one true loves mane. "Wishing star...I don't know if the stories are true..but, if..if you could. I've always wanted to be a father." Looking down he nosed the soft feather, his heart aching. "Maybe you could give me..us..a child. A little one to protect and, spoil. A foal to teach and play games with in the sunshine..I hope these meager offerings please you. They are all we have to give but, maybe Wishing star our miracle babe would enjoy sleeping on my blanket..in it's basket." Hope filling his blue eyes Lijep slowly slipped away letting others step forward to spill their hearts, tears, and blood in hopes of a wish come true.

A Miracle BabyParent 1: XandirParent 2: SequoyahLink to at least one RP that indicates them as a couple: hereLink to approval post of the owner of the other parent: n/a What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Locks from bother their manes, tied with leather lacing and adorned with feathers (from his wings), a broken kirin scale, and beads from the Medicine Woman kawani that watches over Stormwild's lands Short IC Response: Xandir looked up at the star, appreciating for a moment he beauty of it. It was exceptionally bright, sparking like a distant diamond in the velvet black of night. He pawed at the ground nervously, feeling a bit foolish. "The Medicine Woman said you granted wishes," he said in the night when he was sure no one else was around. "I want my Sequoyah to be content," he sighed, looking sad. "He loves Dahlia and Flidais with his whole heart, I know that. But..." he snorted, kicking a clump of grass with his back hoof in frustration. "I know he's desiring a child of his own. One he knows is... is his. That he can look into its eyes and see himself. I feel that desire in him, and, I don't think he'll ever be mine again until he's traveled that journey..." Unbidden thoughts of Amitorlin filled his head, causing his eyes to sting. "So just... whatever you could do make that happen... the sooner the better, allright?" he rushed out.
He turned and began to trot back down the mountainside, looking over his shoulder awkwardly. "Uh, and thanks. I guess."

A Nemesis Soquili That Needs a Rival: QuenthelGender Preference: No preference What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Her flower, a promise, and her creativity. Short IC Response: Quenthel walked up to the edge of the cliff, wondering if she would be able to get a better look the higher she got. The star was so brilliant. Taking a deep breath, the dark unicorn closed her eyes and wished. "Wishing Star so bright, you fill up the night sky with your light. I look to you in wishing for someone that will stand against me. Everyone I have met has been so kind to me. They sometimes talk about such horrid things and a darker side to people. I haven't encountered it myself and I want to learn and see what this is. I wish to be able to have an enemy, someone that can help me see what others have told me. I want to learn the emotions of hate, frustration, grief, and such. I want to know what it's like to have someone disagree with me and challenge me. I know what these feelings and situations are. I know the description but I haven't felt or gone through them. It's difficult to have them when all who I have encountered has been kind and goes along with my ideas for fun."Quenthel shook her head to let the flower from it fall. "I know you're busy shining star, and I'll move along quickly. But .... " She nudged the little flower towards the direction of the wishing star. "I give you my flower, it's a really pretty one isn't it. I also promise to you that I will take all I can from the opportunity. I would also like to give you my creativity. Take what you desire from me, I only wish for a soquili to challenge myself." She turns to leave, looking back to the star she smiles and gallops off. "Thank you."

A True FriendWho is Wishing? (a Soquili, Familiar, or Kiwani persona) Najinca (a soquili) Tell the wishing star a little about yourself: Hello Wishing Star, I am Najinca. I am gentle and kind, I dislike violence and seeing others lose their temper. I get nervous when I have to meet new soquili because I am very shy but to those who are my friend, they are very important to me. I enjoy taking long strolls through meadows and forests and listening to stories others might wish to share with me. Since leaving home, I do not know anyone very well because I am new to these parts. 10 Things I Like: Naturals, winter, plants, jewelry, light colours, medium-ish hair, fairy tales, horns, swirls and birds. 10 Things I Don’t Like: Minis, soquili stuck in the water, scales, gore, insects, tentacles, bald soq's, neon colours, roman noses and weapons. What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Najinca looked through his possessions. He did not have much, but he did have his dreamcatcher. It was the only thing he took with him from his home and he admired the greens with the browns. It was reminescent of his own appearance because of his green eyes and the splashs of brown seen on his coat. It was the one item he could offer the Wishing Star and so he would leave it on a tree stump, right where the star's light could shine down on it during the night.

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: AlonaRelation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Brother Race (first choice): Alicorn Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Reg, Uni, Wind your pick <3 What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A dreamcatcher from her childhood Short IC Response: She had a happy life, a mate who stood by her side and ten beautiful kids who have grown into wonderful adults and parents on their own some had even become grandparents at this point in time. She could not complain about her life however yet lingering in the back of her mind was the unsettling remembrance of her own childhood. Cyrus had helped her get past those memories yet even the howling of a wolf sent shivers across her back as the scars ached with fear of their lashing teeth. She knew that lingering in her deepest nightmares where the sounds of their screams and despite the years that had gone by she could not rest the unsettled state of her heart. Alona knew that most of her family where killed yet she had hoped that her own brother, her sibling of age had as much luck as she had in escaping that night however she had no seen him. There was no news of a blind stallion searching for a missing sister that fit her description and those she had asked had heard nothing of his existence. Yet she could not give up hoping that one day they would cross paths again in a thread of fate that linked all. It wasn't often that Alona believed myths or legends, she was not a fool, however when N'Rai's son had mentioned a treasured star that lingered in the sky she could not spend the rest of her days wondering if she went to ask for her wish that it would come true or not. Leaving her mate side Alona stood on the hill alone with dusty dreamcatcher laying in the soft grass before her. "I am sorry I cannot offer you more star, I do not know if you can hear my wish or not or if this is merely folly on my own behalf. What I give to you is the only trace of the family that I once had in return all I ask is merely to be able to see the owner of that dreamcatcher. I do not know if my brother is alive but.... I cannot lose hope," the mare replied her voice soft as if nothing more than a mere whisper of the wind rattling the trees. Giving one last look at the brilliant star she let a sigh escape her lips as she parted from the hill.

"I am Jessamine," she began, "I don't know where I came from or what I did before a few years ago. I have a darker side...I don't know why I can't resist the bloodlust, but it has cost me so much..." she trailed off, staring into space. "No one ever understands when the truth comes out, I just want a friend to understand..." 10 Things I Like: White Ribbons Blood Pastels Long hair Blue Jewelry 10 Things I Don’t Like: Bald Short Hair Human Clothes on horses Messy What does your persona or your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? She thought for a moment about what kind of offering she could possibly offer a star...she didn't have much. Haltingly, she unraveled a ribbon from her hair and left it on the hill. Her business finished, she turned away and thought to herself that she would be out of ribbons soon if she kept giving them away like that.

My Long Lost Family Member Soquili in search of a relative: Khajag Relation (mother, father, brother, sister, etc): Mother Race (first choice): Regular Race (2nd choice, must be mini, common or uncommon): Full-sized Land-Dwelling Soquili. What does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? Khajag offers the wishing star his mother's lullaby that was often used on him as a young colt. Along with that, he offers the wishing star dried edible berries and an assortment of nuts. Short IC Response: What does you soquili ask/tell the wishing star when he or she comes to ask to find their relative?
Taking a moment to get comfortable, the stallion looked at the wishing star. He wasn’t sure what compelled him to tell the wishing star what was on his mind constantly as he traveled across the Soquili lands. He felt rather silly and embarrassed to tell the wishing star, but he rationalized that it was worth a shot.
Gathering as much courage as he could, the stallion looked at the wishing star. “I know this is silly, but I really miss my mother.” He said softly, as his gaze dropped away from the wishing star. “She was the one that sparked my love for traveling.” He said thoughtfully. “We would travel every day, from the sea to the mountains, to the plains, and then all the way back. It seemed like clockwork when we came upon our destinations. She would always know when the flowers would come into bloom, where to go to view the trees change colors, to see beautiful sunsets…” The stallion reminisced.
“Then one day, we started drifting apart. I was getting older, and she was getting older. We were both heading our own ways. I started traveling towards a path I wanted to take, and she started heading off in a path she wanted to take. We did not head our separate ways due to a conflict or issue, but because we decided for ourselves that it was time to live on our own.” He said quietly.
The stallion quieted for a moment, trying to piece together what he wanted to tell the wishing star next. “After I traveled on my own for a while and go used to the feeling of being alone, I started to miss my mother and wondered how she was fairing. I decided that along my travels that I may cross paths with her, and after a period of time, it seemed like we were not destined to see each other again.” The stallion stiffed after saying that, and shook his head. “No, I don’t want to believe that. I wouldn’t. I had to find another way to go see her.” He told the wishing star. “So, I decided I would travel to parts of the Soquili land that my mother would visit at a certain part of the year. Despite doing that, I could not freely do this as much as I would as a younger stallion due to raising my own family.”
Realizing that he had spoken so much, the stallion shook his head and smiled shyly in the direction of the wishing star. “I’m s-sorry I took up your time listening to me ramble. I j-just really miss my mother. I just wish and pray that she is healthy and that she is out there somewhere.” He said with a firm nod, really wanting to believe that too. Gathering himself together, the stallion gazed in the direction of the wishing star before making his way away from the area.

A Miracle BabyParent 1: IkinyaParent 2: CuauhcoatlLink to at least one RP that indicates them as a couple: SaviourLink to approval post of the owner of the other parent: HereWhat does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? An apple from the garden Ikinya and Cuauhcoatl tend to for their herd. Short IC Response: "Cuauh....are you awake?" Ikinya nosed the cheek of her sleepy lover, his body nearly making her invisible against him with his wing draped over her like a blanket. When he have a little loving smile and cracked open an eye she continued. "Remember that star you told me...and the legend of its wishing power...It may be silly...but I think we should give it a shot. The kids are growing older...and we talked about trying again...." She began nervously, but when Cuauh nodded his head in approval; the little mare beamed happily. Besides, in their life of adoption and surrogation - wishing on a star wasn't so far fetched as it may have seemed.
Taking a offering from the garden they cultivated from their garden - a growing symbol like their current children on what love can come together to flourish and grow they headed to the spot Cuauhcoatl had mentioned; the shrine of the star. Placing the apple tenderly on the spot she was instructed to she looked up at the beautiful sight before her; closing her eyes as she leaned her small body against the leg of her mate and closed her eyes to think a wish.
Our gift is not extravagant or expensive...but it is something that grew from our love; like the children have. The apple is not our blood; but we care and love it all the same like we do Adom, Darius, Zyanya and Subira. All we wish....all we want is to raise children to know no prejudice against that which is deemed 'abnormal'. I...want to be happy with Cuauh and share this love he's shared with me against all odds....I wish for a child; and if not I wish for the blessing we will be successful in our search for surrogates. Thank you for your radiance, Wishing Star.
Looking up to Cuauhcoatl, Ikinya smiled and nosed against his chest. "I'm done....did you want to try...?"

A Miracle BabyParent 1: IkinyaParent 2: CuauhcoatlLink to at least one RP that indicates them as a couple: SaviourLink to approval post of the owner of the other parent: HereWhat does your soquili leave as an offering for the wishing star? A few of his feathers bound to a totem representing their herd of Yectenehua with a braid made of his own and Ikinya's hair braided together, and blessed with some of his energy. Short IC Response: Watching as his lovemate set down their offering, Cuauhcoatl couldn't help but smile slightly, a faint glimmer of hope in his eyes for her -- she, in some ways, had been hurt the worst by the loss of the girl that had been stolen away by the well meaning surrogate, simply because she had changed her mind about allowing an Usdia raise the as her own, and the gentle but meat eating adopted child Darius. This spirit was a step toward healing...
For both of them. And for their whole herd.
The stallion smiled softly down at the spotted Mare, his lips curling around the simple carving he had blessed with his holy energy, "I'd love to.. It's not often one gets to find a location and time when the spirits are most.. Aware of the world and make their presence known to mortals..."
As she stepped to the side, he set the totem -- with its roughly carved design of angeni with an Usdia riding on its back, and feathers from his wings bound to it with their hair, braided together into a thin, fine rope -- up against the apple Ikinya had provided. The large Clydesdalian Angeni then slowly knelt, careful not to tip and fall on his minuet beloved, and bowed his head, eyes closing in prayer.
Spirit of the s-sky and light, who g-graces this land but for a moment, to listen to our prayers.., he started silently, nervous, I am but a humble servant of the world, and ask for l-little in return. Indeed, the spirits have already gifted me much. I am not here for myself, but for my beloved before me.. I give to you my offering, and my promise -- If you feel it in your heart to g-grant our wish.. And give us a child that is like our own.. If you are hoping to come to earth in this form, or are concerned for the well being of the spirit brought to us in mortal form... This is a promise and offering of a home, and a family. All who are good are welcome...
He pondered for a moment, peeking at the star with one eye before closing his eyes, Honor in your name, glory to your light, and may whomever you gift never squander your blessings.
Smiling softly as he opened his eyes, meeting the warmth of Ikinya's, he smiled fondly, adjusting himself so she could climb onto the basket he carried on his back on occasion so she could ride safely, and spread his wings, "...Thank you."
With those last words, he turned from the offering place, and took to the sky.
