 He hated hearing the nagging. Usually such a warm stallion Lijep had grown worse over time..after his small heart break and, the meeting of his now constant companion Cho-Tok. The brown Buffalo refused to let him feel sorry for himself, Cho wasn't a hyper creature but, he did care for Lijep and, wanted to see him smile. "Honestly it's not worth this much heartache Lijep...just move on at least your still friends right?" Lijep sighed and shook out his short blue tipped mane before going back to his current task...Plodding along. The flank high grass he plodded through tickled something fierce making his quirk the smallest little smile. That apparently did enough to get his companion to shut up. "Perhaps we will meet others today..it might be nice.."Sighing wistfully Lijep looked about searching for somewhere to explore, his heart didn't feel like it but, his soul yearned to wander..explore, learn new things. When nothing interesting caught his eye the white male moved onward trying to ignore the tickling grass and, his again complaining partner. "Can't we just stop for a rest? Some nice water and, a bite of grass would be nice if you ask me."

 Tsubasa moved through the high grass in search for his friend, Vegas, the only mare that he wasn’t afraid of. Any other female would make him tremble, but she was different since he had met her when she was just a small filly. Sure, it took him some time to warm up to the small girl, but he slowly did and before he knew it, the two were very close friends, even if she did have the tendency to play tricks on him.
He stumbled as he tripped over a root that was hidden by the grass. Even if he could clearly see that there was a root sticking out there, he would have still tripped over the plant appendage. It felt as if his legs were getting a bit heavy, which wasn’t unusual for the colorful flutter after a couple of hours of movement. He wasn’t like other stallions his age who could go on and on without stopping. He could only go so long before he had to stop, due to his weak stamina. Sure, he loved moving around and exploring, but it was hard to do with how weak his body was. He couldn’t go very far without having to take a short rest usually. Not taking a short rest was dangerous. He didn’t want to relive the experience of passing out in the middle of nowhere. That wouldn’t bode well at all.
Hearing voices, he sluggishly pushed himself forward towards the others. They sounded male, so they couldn’t be too bad and they might know where the black mare went to. As long as they weren’t evil, he would be fine. Evil looking soquilli scared him a bit, although he wouldn’t show his fear besides a slight quiver in his voice.
He sighed in relief when he saw that the voices didn’t come from any evil soq and grinned at the mostly white stallion and brown buffalo beside him. This young stallion looked nice, and Tsubasa found himself attracted to him, which wasn’t an unusual thing. He knew that he had an attraction towards males other than females for a long time now. So this feeling wasn’t a foreign one to him. He pushed this feeling aside and decided to talk. They’d probably find it strange if he just stood there gazing at them. Plus, he had to keep on moving forward. The sooner he found Vegas, the sooner he’d get to take a short rest.
“Uh…Hi. Have you guys seen a black mare around these parts with light blonde hair?” The young stallion asked, flapping his wings slowly as he spoke.

Cho- tok's complaining eventually won out and Lijep stopped to nibble some of the grass, though he kept his eyes wary for any real danger. Not that he thought much could hurt him..he had always been a sturdy big stallion..not fat but, not thin or under muscled. As the companions ate in silence the sound of wings and, a voice drew their eyes around the area. Wings. Lijep froze then smiled a bit..the male that stood before him looked rather pretty..almost girlie, not that he thought that was a bad thing. Still it happened to be the others wings that got his attention for a longer period of time before..he felt a nudge from Cho-tok and, moved towards the winged male. "Uh..no I' afraid we haven't, sorry though would you like help finding her? " Still smiling Lijep felt his spirits rise a bit, meeting others always cheered him up some. After a moments hesitation and some more annoying prodding he spoke again his sometimes flirtatious though kind side shining through. " Your coloring is very beautiful...I'm Lijep by the way and that's Cho-tok. So what do you say? Need some help to find your friend or..would you maybe like to explore some with me?" He hoped for the latter but, tried to keep the shining hope out of his eyes. The white male had been searching for..so long..maybe this time he could find love...if not a new friend would be wonderful too. Lijep could always use a new male friend.

Tsubasa frowned when he heard from Lijep that they hadn’t saw the sneaky mare, his wings not moving an inch. Darn, and hear he thought they might have seen her and could point him in the right direction. Now he was back to figuring out just where Vegas ran off too before he did end up collapsing in the middle of nowhere. He knew he should have set up boundaries and rules to the game. If he did, something like this would have never happened and he wouldn’t be stuck asking for someone’s help in the first place. Not that he minded asking other people for help. Not at all. The only thing that he worried about is being a hassle to the other’s that were trying to help him. Or making them worry, that too.
The young stallion smiled nervously at the other male, his wings giving an uneasy flutter. He had gotten used to other soquilli giving compliments towards his coloring and body, but he didn’t truly believe it himself. He viewed other, simpler stallions and mares as beautiful and attractive, not one’s like he who had a lot of markings and colors to offer. There was just something that was more elegant about the simplicity of it all.
“Thanks, you’re rather attractive yourself,” he said with a weak smile. “Ah, could you help me if it’s not too much trouble?” the colorful stallion asked with a grateful look on his face. Like they always said, the more the better right? And the sooner he found Vegas, the sooner he could take a bit of a rest, or maybe get to know this lad a bit better. “I’d love to go exploring with you, but I have to find this mare first,” he stated, concern laced in his voice when he mentioned his friend. Yeah, the mare was strong and intelligent, but one wrong move and something bad could happen to her. She was also a little bit too friendly with other’s female wise, which made him fret even more.

Liejp snorted a bit at the compliment but, accepted it non the less. The stallion felt a bit bad that he hadn't seen the mare, at least he could still go around and, help the pretty stallion search. Trying to focus he nodded and, nudged Cho-tok urging his companion along. "Of course let's go look together, then maybe we could all go explore. What exactly does your friend look like? Does she have any distinguishing features?" Trotting a few paces away he started peering here and there in places a mare could possibly fit, though he still hadn't heard what type of mare this might be. "What is she exactly? Does she have wings or horns or anything?" Cho-tok snorted but, couldn't speak because Lijep shot him a look of frustration then moved onward to look.

Tsubasa stared at Lijep, confused as to why he would snort at such a comment. Did he not believe that he was gorgeous? Did he say something wrong? It didn’t make any sense to the young stallion, but he decided to shrug that thought off. Whatever reason the other had for making such a sound at the comment wasn’t any of his business and therefore he had no right to badger him about it. Even if he really did want to.
“Thank you so much,” the colorful male said, grateful for the help. He wished to go explore with the other horse, but he was growing weaker and weaker by the second and he had a feeling that he wouldn’t get any better unless he actually rested someplace soon. He didn’t mention his wish to lay down somewhere though, not wanting to put the other guy’s hopes down. Albeit, that was a bit selfish and rude of him to do, but he didn’t care about that right now. He was desperate to find Vegas, and hard times called for desperate measures. Plus, he didn’t like admitting that he had a weak body, even though it was apparent. He was stubborn that way. It didn’t help that he also found this stallion attractive and because of that, he wanted to spend more time with him. If he had to rest, they might go their separate ways and may never see each other again, which he really didn’t want.
“Uh, she’s a black mare, with a wavy mane and tail. She wears these dangly dice around her neck…” he paused as he tried to get a clearer picture of his best friend that he had come to know and love so well. “Oh! She has glasses, bright blue eyes, and fins on her legs and neck that are brightly colored!” he blurted out, before he forgot or just in case the image slipped from his mind. “I think she also has…neon markings, and creamy legs that turn into black.” He hoped that helped the other stallion, instead of hindering their search.
Tsubasa peered through the grass and other hiding places with Lijep, making sure to look in places where the other male hadn’t looked, but making sure that he had the other mostly white male in his peripheral vision.

Moving with ease Lijep enjoyed the way Tsu spoke a smile soon quirking his lips at the pretty stallions words. It was so..cute the way he rambled and stammered on about what his friend looked like. As his blue robs flicked here and, there they finally caught sight of something promising, a finned bit of tail peeking from behind a tree's trunk. Smiling ever so slightly he inched closer "Ah ha! Found her! This is her right?" How embarrassing would it be if the fin belonged to some other stallion or mare?

Tsubasa turned towards Lijep when he stated that he had found her, ecstatic. This was fantastic, now he didn’t have to wander around and look for her anymore! Just what his weary body needed right now, to finish what it had set out to do and to rest when accomplishing the deed.
“You did?” he asked, dragging his body over to where the white stallion stood. It was hard to believe that he found the young mare so quickly, when it usually took him until he was near the point of passing out in order to find the mischievous female. She always had a tendency to push him to his limit, especially when she happened to be bored out of her mind and wanted to take a gamble or two.
“Yeah, that’s her alright,” he sighed, bending down and nipping the neon green fin lightly. “Thank you so much for finding her for me. I would have never guessed that she was hiding there,” he stated, speaking the truth. He lifted his head, slowly, to prevent getting completely dizzy. Sure, the world did a small twirl when he lifted his head completely, but that was something that he could deal with. That and it didn’t last too long.
“Hmph. Cheater!” Vegas whined, coming out of her hiding place. “You used him to find me, you didn’t get me yourself!” She motioned her head towards the dark blue eyed stallion, her glasses falling down a bit on her face.

Still smiling a bit stupidly Lijep plodded closer to the two friends and chuckled softly when Vegas spoke. "Sorry miss, he seemed desperate..maybe you shouldn't go so far next time." Casting a somewhat concerned look Tsu's way the white stallion stepped closer and nudged him. "Now you should rest...you look very tired. How long were you looking for her without resting or eating?" Worry increasing a bit he again nudged the pretty stallions multi hued coat urging him to be still, urging him to lay for a few moments in the soft grass. "Rest..I will go find you a few apples to eat." Wit ha kind smile Lijep quickly trotted off but, he kept his eye on the two, he didn't want to lose them. Something about Tsu..something about that beautiful male struck a chord.

Vegas gave a small snort when Lijep had said he was sorry. “What are you sorry for? It wasn’t like you did anything wrong,” she replied, giving him a bored look. “Eh, he needs to push himself more. “ She wasn’t about to say sorry. After all, she thought what she was doing, helped his condition by making him stronger, instead of creating the flutter weaker. What didn’t kill you, made you tougher, right?
Tsubasa rolled his eyes at his friend, and reluctantly layed down. It was true that he did need to rest his aching limbs. “Uh…Thanks,” he replied, sheepishly as his wings and his heart fluttered nervously. He was finding that the more time that he spent with the male the more that he was growing attracted to him. Which, he didn’t think was bad, or good. He was torn between staying with him, and having hopes somewhat shattered, or maybe getting a growing friendship with the man….Maybe even love. Though, the whole relationship thing probably wasn’t going to happen. After all, he probably was just a extremely nice stallion who cared for others. Heck, he might even have a family already, but at least there was friendship. A thought like that dampened his spirit, so once it came to his mind, he quickly shoved it away. Best to not think about the subject altogether.

He felt nothing much as the mare spoke like that to him, after all Lijep had always been a very laid back, mature stallion with a kind heart. Sure he liked romping around with foals and mischief making mares or stallions. That didn't mean he would act impolite or immature..would it be considered impolite to ask Tsu if he..had someone special? If he had a mate or children? Flustered Lijep tossed his short mane and swiftly moved back to the two. He and Cho-tok carried two apples apiece. Three of the plump juicy pieces of fruit Lijep settled in front of the now resting beauty while the other he rolled to his friend. "Sorry I forgot to introduce myself...my name is Lijep this is Cho-tok. Please eat and rest..maybe we can get to know one another more.." Feeling that he might be rambling Lijep turned his blue orbs to the sky and, sighed wistfully the nagging feeling in the back of his mind and, in the bottom of his heart were oh so distracting. He had felt heart break once already..so learning that the flutter had a beloved or that he had a family would hurt but, Lijep could brush it off..just like before.

Tsubasa's wings flittered as Lijep and his friend came back with some juicy looking apples, his stomach making it's presence known as it rumbled loudly. Just what he needed right at the moment, some nourishment.
"Thanks. " the flutter mumbled, taking one of the delectable fruits into his mouth and taking a small bite. He looked at the other male, confused. Sure, he was hungry as hell, but wasn’t the other stallion hungry to? Or his companion? He felt bad taking from them when they could be hungry to.
“Aren’t you hungry to?” he asked, tilting his head up at the other man, slightly concerned. “Pleasure to meet you, I’m Tsubasa, and my friend here..” he shook his snout towards Vegas’ direction, not knowing that the mare had snuck some of his apples away.. “Is Vegas.”

Smiling happily when the two started to eat Lijep stretched his body a bit his head shaking at Tsu's question. "Oh no I'm fine really..I've been in this area for a bit now so I know where food is..plus I can always eat some later..you need to eat now." With a slightly goofy little grin Lijep bowed his head in yet another more formal greeting. "Pleasure to meet you miss Vegas and Tsubasa."
He didn't mind females but, the stallion really only had eyes for the flutter male..with his beautiful coat and shy nature. It took a lot for him to focus on anything other than Tsu. "Once you are rested I'll take you to get a drink there's a very nice clean spring not too far away and, it's near some more apples if you still hunger."

The blue stallion cocked an eyebrow up at the white soq in front of him as he nibbled on the tasty treat that was graciously given to him. He wasn’t going to gobble the whole thing up, at least not right now he wasn’t. After all, what if his friend wanted it? It wouldn’t be right if he ate the whole thing and didn’t leave any for the man who had searched for the fruit “Hmm…Well, okay, if you say so,” he replied, fully trusting the other male’s answer to be truth. He couldn’t help but find that goofy grin trustworthy, and it was sort of contagious. One side of his lips turned upwards, creating a lopsided smile as he looked back up at the caring male. This guy, wasn’t a bad guy at all, and the more he hung out with him, the more he was starting to like him. Sure, he had a tendency to like everyone that was nice to him, but something about this like, it was different and not like any of the other feelings.
That hungry mouth then went back to scarfing down the delectable, juicy apple as if he were starving and hadn’t eaten for months, not caring about the other’s that were around him. Even if they might be watching him as he ate this delicious morsel. If the blue eyed soq in front of him told him that it was okay to eat and that he should do so now, then he’d willingly eat the offered tree-born item since it didn’t seem like he was being any trouble to the guy. Plus, he didn’t think he was /that/ hungry in the beginning, but as he chewed on the fruit that lay before him, it dawned to him that he actually was. Okay, and he was eating fast because he wanted to stop being such a burden to Lijep as he sat here to rest for a bit. That too.
“Oh! I’m rested!” he stated, wobbly standing up as his stomach growled like a ferocious animal. Okay, so maybe he wasn’t quite that ready to move forward toward another place, but he really didn’t want to be a hindrance to the stallion before him, more than he already was. It was bad enough that the male had already went out of his way to grab him a tasty apple. He didn’t want to put more trouble on him. Plus, he was kind of eager for more of those red treats, his stomach agreeing with him completely as it gave another loud rumble.
