Shawn Darrow The guards don't seem tough to me. But alright. I wasn't aware you could only catch up to two pokemon in this event. Yes, you can catch one Bidoof from the random battles, plus one more pokemon from among the guards or boss. Which means, for example, that if you catch a guard, you can't try for the boss, but you can try for them whether or not you caught one of the random Bidoofs while wandering through the temple.
