Doyle saw doof was really weak. "Finish it off Ark!" He called. Ark stumbled a bit due to the poison but then was running at the doof. She used Faint Attack on it. The attack connected and the bidoof went down. She stood weakly but proudly over the fallen bidoof.

Whoever is rolled gets to choose whether or not to keep it. You can trade/gift, or have me reroll. If you are choosing to keep it, you cannot capture any more pokemon from this event. RP tossing a Pokeball, if you're going to keep it.

Seeing that the pokemon was down, Mortimer gave a holler of victory and threw a pokeball at the wild pokemon. Herbert, ears perked up, watched the ball with rapt attention as it soared through the air and towards the bidoof. He was tempted to catch it yet resisted this urge.

Genesis facepalmed at the idea of the old man with an aggressive and territorial doof (of apparently high rank). She didn't think any good would come of it, but it was too late now, and the best thing to do, she thought, was to keep her distance.
Deciding to follow through with it right then, she went over to Erebos and offered him two Oran Berries for his trouble.

Doyle shook his head as the old man threw the pokeball and captured the doof. It was utterly ridiculous that he all but sneaked in here and snagged the higher ranked doof. However he had more pressing issues. Ark needed some serious healing. He took out one of his Enigma berries as well as one of his remaining Lum berries to heal her back to full health.

Mortimer, looking victorious, smirked and raised his hand in the air. He looked over towards Doyle as he lowered his arm. "Now that's how you capture pokemon, hooligan."
Pocketing the pokeball, he walked towards Herbert, patting his head once he got to him. The pokemon didn't seem to be faring so well.
"You did a great job out there, boy," he murmured, scratching the ailing growlithe behind the ears. With another pat to Herbert's head; the trainer took out an enigma and lum berry for the pokemon. Herbert took them gratefully and devoured them whole, not even chewing.
Herbert: 100/100

The bidoof was down. The group had did it! The other trainers had some real impressive pokemon, though Fay was most proud of her Teddi, of course. "You were awesome." she cooed towards Rumble, giving him an affectionate rub down as she slipped him two oran berries. "Heal up boy, you deserve it." she cooed again like a mother to her infant.
