She could feel her teeth clatter inside her head as the two beasts smashed against one another once more. Their grunts and huffs filling her ears as dirty and grass filled the air around her. This time the class of beastly bodies wasn't quite as jarring. Mei eyed the wild beast then looked back to her nets behind her. It didn't seem very weak just yet so she would refrain from using them right away. Pushing her beast forward, she urged it to doge the next attack. The beast seemed to be getting wise to Mei's moves. It backed her beast into a small corner. To which her beast panicked and rushed forward, barreling into the other and nearly knocking Mei out of the harness. She clinged for dear unlife not wanting to fall over and get smooshed by the raging beasties. Bringing her beastie about, she tried to calm it some. Its mouth slathering as it panted hard. Its sides causing her legs to spread wide as she sat straddled. "Don't let this wild thing beat you. I have faith that you can do it!"She cheered on, pushing her beast forward once more. Though it seemed her words of encouragement did little as the other beast seemed to be barely phased by the next attack. It seemed like no better time than now. Reaching back she grasped a net pulling it from the carrier. How to go about this though? Giving a small shrug, she twirled the net above her head. Trying to get a good aim at the wild beast. When she let go though the net caught on finger and fell lip across her beasts back. I battled and I FAILEDMei grabbed another net, hoping to be a little more successful this time around. Twirling it about her head as her beast panted and nearly collapsed from exhaustion. She let it fly, this time making sure it didn't catch on her fingers. But the wild beast seemed to be a bit too clever for its own good and dodged the net. Within moments of entering, Poke was subjected to another dizzying fall, tumbling over herself until she landed on the back of her very own Lindworm. It swiveled it's head to look at her happily, and she gave it a affectionate pat while trying to orientate herself with the familiar setting (and stop her head from spinning). She could hear the professor from the cliff top, now instructing them to capture a 'wild beast'. She was about to ask where these beats were, but as soon as the professor clapped her hands, they appeared out of no where.
How in jacks name did she do that?!
Oh well, she'd figure it out later. She had more important things to do. Like picking out a target. The dragon ghoul gazed around the area, looking until she found herself a subtitle beast; a large four legged animal, with big horns upon it's head. It was preoccupied with grazing on the ink grass, so it hadn't noticed Poke and her own beast creeping up on it.
"Alright..use my brain..." She mumbled, thinking up a plan for to capture it. "Well, I guess it would be easier to capture it if it's tired out, but lets not try to hurt it." She patted the Lindworm's side, then with her legs, kicked it gently to get it go forward. It snaked towards the Ox, drawing closer until it was practically breathing down it's neck, and then grabbed onto it's side with i clawed hands. Not impressed, the horned creature shook them off, before running away
"After it!" Poke urged her lindworm, and they were off in hot pursuit.
My HP: 35/40

The horned beast was a lot faster then Poke had anticipated. Not to mention that the horns on it's head were pretty intimidating, especially when it suddenly turned around to face them, one hoof pawing the ground. It looked like it was going to charge them, and it did. "Gah! Lower your head and charge !" She ordered, and her lindworm was quick to oblige, keeping it's head low moving forwards. The ink drawings both clashed against each other, nearly throwing her off. She managed to hold on, while they wrestled with each other. It was like some sort of weird minipet documentary, except instead of minipets, there were larger creatures instead. And she was trying to ride one and not fall off at the same time. It appeared though her Lindworm was holding it's ground, and in fact starting to push the other beast backwards. After a few more shoves, it them pushed forward, sending the other beast stumbling. "You okay?" Poke asked her drawing, a little concerned it might have hurt itself during the struggle. When it nodded it's head, she sighed in relief. They were still raring to go. In a rage, the horned beast came after Poke and her lindworm once again, waving it's large head around angrily as it tried to gouge out a hole in the lindworm's side. "Woah, woah, hey, careful!" She shouted as her beast moved out of the way in a hurry to escape the horns. "Try to get it on it's back!" She then had to grab onto the harness as her beast all but jumped over the other one, turning around and rushing forward, pushing it's head into the others unprotected flank in order to knock it over. By now Her drawing was starting to tire, it's head dropping a little while it watched the bull right itself and prepare for another frontal assault. But it also seemed the Bull was getting tired too. Just a little more, and then they could try to net it! "We're almost done, just hold in there a little longer" Poke stroked her lindworm reassuringly, and it responded by rushing forward before the bull could, and they locked themselves in battle once more. Poke was starting to wonder weather she could just eat this thing instead. It did look kinda appetizing...even though it was made of ink. Although she didn't think the Professors would approve of her eating it, so she just cheered on her Lidnworm as he forced it backwards. She could tell the strain was starting to get to her own drawing. Again the two beasts grunted and snarled, their horns locked in a battle to show which beast was the more stronger one. Poke felt herself being thrown about once more, holding onto the Harness to keep herself from being thrown off. Then suddenly the lindworm swung it's head, and the other horned beast mooed in protest when it was sent to the ground. It got up again, but looked very unsteady on it's feet. "Great! We got it just were we wanted to!" Well, she hoped so, at least. It didn't look like her drawing would be able to fight anymore, with it's numerous cuts along it's head, and a nasty gash when it tried to ram it before, it looked about ready to pass out. With the horned beast stumbling about, Poke quickly turned around to the large basket tied onto the lindworms back, pulling out on of the large nets placed inside. "You think you got enough in get me closer to it so I can net it?" She asked her lindworm, which nodded, dragging itself with it's claws towards the other beast. Before it could get away, she chucked the net over it, but it began to jump and thrash about, ripping the net from her hands and throwing it to the ground. It seemed to still have some fight left. I battled and I PASSEDOkay, time to try again. Grabbing another net from the basket, Poke instructed her drawing to do the same thing as before, getting closer to the horned bull and then throwing the net over it. This time it stuck on more, and the beast was growing tired as well. Not wanting to let it go, Pole jumped off her lindworm, pulling on the net while her drawing grabbed the other side in it's claws hands, and they waited for the best to calm down until it laid down with a grunt. "Great! we caught ourselves some lunch!" She said, much to the displease of her captive who began to get up. "NO! no no it's a joke it's a joke, I'm a not gonna eat you, I swear! Calm down!" It soon did so, and at that moment she was whisked out of the painting and back into the classroom. ...Hopefully...the professors didn't hear her comment either.
