The first thing most students would see was a sign which read 'Please remove your footwear' right beside the huge wooden door; under the sign was a shoe rack. Anyone who tried to enter with any footwear would realize that they could not even get through the door; it was as if they were being pushed out.

The room itself was spacious but designed to be simple - at least, 'simple' by the standards of the Clan of Conquest, as it does not possess much furniture; it was a circular room with intricate details carved into almost every inch of the crossbeams above them, and a marble floor that felt cool under the students' Bare feet. However, the most beautiful thing about the room was the wall - it was decorated with with several ink paintings depicting scenes from nature, such as mountains, bamboo forests, rivers, and lakes.

The only furniture that could be seen was what looked like a low wooden table with two small cushions behind it, and an array of bushes in a holder on the table itself. The wall behind the table was the only section of the room not covered by paintings; instead, there was a red curtain, presumably leading to another room.

It was obvious from this set up that you are not supposed to touch anything.

"Ah, they're here."

There was a long pause before a figure emerged from the room behind the drawn curtain; she wasn't very tall, and looked rather petite. Despite her size and how ordinary she looked compared to some of the Horsemen of Conquests, however, she carried herself with such grace that it wasn't hard to believe that she was one of them. Her robes looked like it had many layers, and her every step was calculated so that her feet would never be seen under the folds of her long, pale blue dress.

"Welcome, welcome..." She moved to stand in front of the low table, her black eyes scanning the many different faces, "With a Clan name such as Conquest, you must think that you are here to learn the art of war and battle. However, we believe that there is more to life than just your skill on the battlefield... We also believe in the importance of artistic and academic excellence!" Yes... An all-rounded education was only proper.

"I am Zhang Liulian, one of your mentors during your short stay here. You may call me Professor Zhang, since I've heard that students such as yourself are used to addressing their mentors in that manner," She went on with that same, consistent smile, "There is another, and he will be joining us soon... Ah, there he is."

Another horseman of conquest emerged from behind the curtain, taking his place behind and to the side of the teacher. Though he was taller than Professor Zhang, he carried himself with such humility that she seemed to tower over him. In fact, he didn’t seem that much older than the students.

“Ah, welcome, students.” He bowed his head. “My name is Lan Shanzhu, but you will address me as Assistant-Professor Shanzhu. I have spent many years studying under Lady Zhang.”

"My best pupil." She smiled fondly, "Now, before I continue, please note that we value and respect our elders. If you wish to speak, raise your hand and wait to be called. If you wish to take your leave, raise your hand, stand up, and bow to your teacher before you move from your seat. I do not take well to... Ill-manned children. Perhaps an exceptional child shall emerge yet."

Quote:
-> Note what is in bold!
-> You maybe quote Dragain (Prof Zhang) or iizbot (Prof Shanzhu) to get our attention!
-> Dragain is on break for the first two days of class, so direct questions to iizbot!

The start of Day 1, and with introductions done, the horsemen clapped their hands in unison. Immediately, servants holding low tables identical to the one the pair were standing behind were brought out from the other room. These tables were then neatly arranged in the room before a brush, cake of black ink on a stone slab, stone mortar, and a small cup of water were set down on the table.

Chinese paper, weighed down on both sides with a marble bar, was then placed in front of the brush and ink.

"Time to paint, young ones," She smiled, sitting herself down on one of the cushions, her legs crossed, her posture elegant as she pushed her long sleeve back to pick up the stone mortar; the students were expected to sit on the floor as well, "First, we have to prepare the ink... It is not as simple as you think it is. Like many things, it requires skill and patience. Practice helps too, but you do not have that luxury, I'm afraid. Like all things, just take your time and enjoy the process."

She poured a drip of water on the stone stab, and begun to ground the ink with the mortar, her eyes never leaving the ink even as she spoke, "Ink of various consistencies can be prepared depending on the amount of water used. Thick ink is very deep and glossy when applied to paper. Thin ink appears lively and translucent! As a result, in ink-and-wash paintings, it is possible to use ink alone to create a rhythmic balance between brightness and darkness, and density and lightness, to create an impression of the subject's texture, weight and coloring."

She finally looked up, putting the mortar away with a small smile, "Why don't you try? Ink in the human world dries up after a while, but ink here... It will stay at the consistency you leave it at even after a week." Something about her tone suggests that she held pride in the fact that they were far superior than the humans.

"If you have questions or concerns, please, let me assist you," Shanzhu added as the materials were distributed. "Lady Zhang's time is very valuable."

OOC
Time to ground your ink: Roll 2d6!

First dice: Adding the water!
> 1 : Whoops! You added too much water and it's flowing out the stone slab!
> 2 - 3 : That's pretty good! The water's staying on the stone slab!
> 4 - 5 : You added only a little bit of water, which acts as a good base for the ink!
> 6 : Perfect! You added only a drip of water... You have such steady hands!

Second dice: Grounding the cake of ink!
> 1 : Whoops! You might had just destroyed your cake of ink by pounding too hard...
> 2 - 3 : You used enough force, and see the water and ink mixing well.
> 4 - 5 : You see the water slowly turning black as the cake of ink is pounded down.
> 6 : With good control, your ink turned out just the right consistency!

When you do this exercise, please post this at the top of your post:

Day 2, and the student would return to the room only to see that the low tables had been rearranged and split into two groups with some tables on one side of the classroom, and some on the other side... Put in such a way that they faced each other.

"Welcome back, students. I have prepared this the previous night, under the instruction of Lady Zhang," This time, it was Assistant-Professor Shanzhu that was addressing them, with Professor Zhang seated at the low table behind him. From where he was standing, he procured what looked like a scroll from the sleeve of his robe, and rolled it out down the middle of the classroom, dividing the circular classroom into two semi-circles. Upon closer inspection, the scroll painting was actually of a grassy green field with a bamboo forest in the middle; the area was surrounded by tall mountains.

"Your task in today's lesson is to design and paint a creature on the paper laid out on your table, using the ink that you had made yesterday. To complete your beast, draw in the eyes - once that last step is done, a spell that had been cast on the paper will transfer the beast over to the landscape you see before you."

A short pause, "Like before, you may leave once you are done with your assignment, but remember your manners."

OOC
Time to paint: Roll 3d6!

First dice: Getting the brush ready
> 1 : Whoops! You got ink on the table as you're lifting the brush towards the paper...
> 2 - 3 : Your brush soaked up too much ink and it's dripping everywhere; might want to try to drain the excess off before lifting it off the stone slab.
> 4 - 5 : You managed to lift the brush to the paper without accident!
> 6 : Perfect! You lifted the perfect amount of ink off the stone slab and onto the paper!

Second dice: Painting the body
> 1 : You used too much force, and part of the paper is soaked with ink before you could even try to paint anything.
> 2 - 3 : ... You tried to paint but it came out looking like a giant blob of... Blobness.
> 4 - 5 : With extreme caution, you managed to get the outline of your beast done, and proceed to add in details.
> 6 : With good control over the brush as well as the force used to paint, you managed to paint out a beast as you had envisioned! Well, at least it looked decent.

Third dice: Painting in the eyes
> 1 : The eyes you painted are just two blobs of ink... That looks almost alive? Despite your shoddy work, the spell detected the finished beast, and it vanished from your paper.
> 2 - 3 : The eyes you painted has a sort of gleam in them that makes them look almost alive! As you removed your brush, the beast vanished from your paper.
> 4 - 5 : Although it took you some time, as you finished the eyes on your beast off, you could almost swear that it blinked at you right before vanishing from your paper.
> 6 : For some reason, you couldn't help but spend a lot of time on the eyes, painstakingly adding in fine details. When you are finally done, your beast blinked before vanishing from your paper.

... After vanishing from your paper, your painted beast appeared on the scroll painting. It doesn't look alive to you, and it certainly didn't blink or move; was what you saw earlier just a trick of the light?

When you do this exercise, please post this at the top of your post:

Day 3, and the first thing you realized upon entering the classroom was that it had been cleared of all tables; the only thing that remained was the long scroll with the beasts on it. Each of the professors were standing on either end of the scroll - the left and right side. As the door closed behind the last student, signaling the start of the class, Professor Zhang looked up from the painting and smiled.

"Now that they had the time to dry, it's time for us to tame the beast," Her smile widened as she gestured at the scroll, "Come on now, children. We haven't got all day!" With a wave of her sleeve, you found yourself being sucked forward, followed by the odd sensation of falling... By the time everything was right again, you found yourself feeling really odd- OH JACK WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU?!

Looking at your own hands and body, you realized that you looked like a figure in a Chinese ink painting. Some students would find themselves surrounded by tall bamboo, while others would find themselves standing on the edge of a cliff, overlooking a grassy green field with what looked like odd paint beasts on it... Wait... This is the Assistant-Professor's scroll painting!

"Children, your task today is to locate and tame your beast. Taming a beast takes patience, wits and strength; if you cannot overcome your opponent, how can you expect him or her to respect you? If you had skipped yesterday's class, you shall have to tame a standard beast that had been painted in by myself... Look for the beast with three eyes," A voice came from above, which was easily recognized as Professor Zhang's, "Once you are done, you will be transported out of the painting and may take your leave. Ah, yes, don't take too long to locate your beast though... They might get annoyed if made to wait too long."

OOC
[First Post] Finding out where you landed : Roll 1d6!
> 1 - 3 : Bamboo forest!
> 4 - 6 : Cliff on a mountain!

[Second Post] Finding and Taming : Roll 3d6!
-> If you missed Day 2's class, you are to tame a 'Standard Beast' painted by Professor Zhang. Instead of rolling 3d6, roll 3d4.
-> Yes, the odds are against you, but that is IC punishment; since you are taming a beast you did not create, it is not as easily tamed!

First dice: Making your way out the forest / down the mountain
> 1 : You took so long that you probably exhausted yourself just trying to get to the field! Perhaps you got lost or stuck?
> 2 - 3 : Ow! You hurt yourself trying to make your way to the field, but at least it was only a minor injury.
> 4 - 5 : While it took some time, you managed to get to the field without getting hurt, lost or stuck!
> 6 : It must just be luck, but you found your way to the field without a problem!

Second dice: Locating your beast
> 1 : You got lost among the herd of beasts... You only found yours when the herd started to thin out from other students taming theirs.
> 2 - 3 : You spotted a beast with a familiar body part and gave chase, but lost sight of it before finding it a while later.
> 4 - 5 : You located your beast pretty easily, but... Wait... Why is it moving away from you?! It took you some energy to finally chase it down.
> 6 : Not long after entering the field, you spotted your beast and made your way over; it looked at you, but made no attempts to run.

Third dice: Taming your beast
> 1 - 2 : After a long, drawn out struggle, you lost to your beast. It still regards you as its master, but with obvious contempt. [Fail Tame!]
> 3 - 5 : You won the battle, but not by much. Still, a win is a win, and your beast acknowledged your strength and is happy to have you as its master. [Tamed!]
> 6 : The battle was intense, but you triumphed over your beast. In awe of your strength and vigor, it fully acknowledged you as its master. [Fully Tamed!]

-> After taming your beast, you found yourself transported out of the painting and standing once again, in the classroom!

After rolling for the Finding and Taming exercise (Your second post), please match the third dice to the result stated above, and then edit this into the top of your post:

Day 4, and you found yourself sucked into the painting the moment you stepped through the classroom door. Unlike before, this time, you landed on a harness that had been tied around the body of your beast; at the back of the harness is a huge bamboo basket with heavy nets in them.

"Now, you must understand," The two Professors were seated on the edge of a cliff overseeing the field, behind a low table with teas and snacks, "In a battlefield, your plans might not always go the way you want them to. You must learn to think fast and be creative; brute force is not always the best way to go about things. Sometimes, you need to slow down and use your brain instead. Go on, comb the area for a Wild Beast and try to capture it; however, you have to weaken it first... You only have one try, so try not to kill it either!"

Standing up, she clapped her hands and the earth in the painting started to shake; soon, there were Wild Beasts everywhere.

"As usual, once you are done, you will be sent out of the painting and may leave the classroom," You could see her smile from where you are, or maybe you imagined it, "You will know how you fared for this class the day after."

OOC
Step 1
[Type : HP]
Failed Tame :
30HP
Tamed : 40HP
Fully Tamed : 40HP

The Wild Beasts have 100HP each.

You need to attack the Wild Beast with a 2d8:
-> If your result for Day 3 is Tamed or Fully Tamed, you may choose to roll 2d6 at any point in time instead of the above; think of it as having the ability to pick which attack to use!
-> Missing Day 3 counts as a FAILED TAME!
-> Every time you roll for an attack, you take 5 damage regardless of if you hit or not.
-> Your beast CANNOT hit 0HP or you automatically fail!
-> The Wild Beast CANNOT hit 0HP or you automatically fail!

Step 2
[Type : No. of nets]
Failed Tame :
2
Tamed : 3
Fully Tamed : 4

Tossing the net
-> No. of nets = No. of tries!
-> To try to capture a Wild Beast, you need to roll 5d20 and get a total value higher than the remaining HP of the Wild Beast.
-> Example: The Wild Beast has 60HP left; I need to roll at least 61 or above to capture the Wild Beast!

An Example
I got a Tamed Beast, and started out with these stats:
My HP: 40/40
Damage done:
Opponent's HP: 100/100
Number of nets left: 3/3
Link all posts made here:

At the end of 7 attack rounds:
My HP: 5/40 (Since they sustain 5 damage per attack)
Damage done:
Opponent's HP: 44/100
Number of nets left: 3/3
Link all posts made here: Attack 1, Attack 2, Attack 3, Attack 4, Attack 5, Attack 6

And I managed to roll a 51 with 5d20 on my last net, which is a success capture:
My HP: 5/40 (Since they sustain 5 damage per attack)
Damage done:
Opponent's HP: 44/100
Number of nets left: 0/3
Link all posts made here: Attack 1, Attack 2, Attack 3, Attack 4, Attack 5, Attack 6, Attack 7, Net 1, Net 2

In the same post, as that was my last post and I succeeded, I add this as my heading:
I battled and I PASSED

At the bottom of every post you make, please add this to help you (and me) to keep track of your progress!

My HP:
Damage done:
Opponent's HP:
Number of nets left:
Link all posts made here:

On your last post, please post this at the top depending on if you succeeded in capturing a Wild Beast:

I battled and I FAILED/PASSED

Lumi had no troubles removing her shoes before entering the elaborate building. It only seemed natural, as she stepped across the thresh hold she couldn't believe her eyes, every inch of the class room was decorated beautifully and skilfully. Her ears twitched at the sound of movement, she turned to see two instructors come in to the class.

Bowing respectfully to the two before she took a seat. It was respectful back home and so much of what she was seeing here was like home she only hoped it wasn't frowned upon.

Ink well, please be well...

Whatever the people tell you, Roch did NOT run into the barrier. He just... bumped into it a little. Then he touched it, tapped on it, and looked around for an explanation.

When he saw the sign he let out a sigh and headed over to the shoe rack, tugging his boots off and shoving them on top of the rack. Then, barefooted, he headed into the class and looked for a place to sit down. He sat down, finally, at one of the tables and looked at the ink and water blankly, wondering what in the hell a punk kid from the wrong side of halloween was doing there.

It reeeallly didn't compute.

After a moment he took the water, pouring too much onto the slab and almost yelping as it overflowed. He started digging through his pockets, pulling out a wad of paper and blotting it up as well as he could--knowing that he was getting a sharp look from the teacher.

Once he'd soaked up enough of the water he started to grind the ink with the mortar. That--that wasn't so bad, he thought as the water started turning black.

Lumi took a seat at the table and looked down at the paper, water and cake. Oh this looked like fun. Watching the instructor she was hesitant to lift the water, with her luck it just might go everywhere, but she carefully pour a little water, it was just enough possibly a little more then needed but at least it didn't go everywhere.

Smiling happily she looked at the mortar and the cake, Placing it down up on the stone she slowly pounded the cake down turning the water in to a beautiful inky black after some time. Happy with the results of day one. She looked at both instructors and raised her hand. She was planning on leaving for the day. As she was looked at she stood up and bowed to show respect.

"If it is okay I would like to take my leave."

She said softly to both instructors.

Now unlike Roch, there was no secret about Danny running into the door. She saw Roch from a distance and started running immediately, causing a succinct SMACK against the invisible barrier. She rubbed her head and only THEN noticed the sign and grumbled. Damn "do not do this" signs. They were jackin' everywhere. Danny sighed and removed her flip flops though, doing exactly what she was told. Danny was obedient, it just took her awhile to get the rules! She put her flip flops right next to Roch's- she knew they were his because ... well who else wore boots like him? The steel-toes were a complete giveaway.

For a moment, she stuck a hand out into the room, testing to make sure the door worked now. She probably looked stupid, but she didn't want to risk running into that invisible wall again! Feeling nothing, she took a step forward. So far so good!

Danny entered the classroom with trepidation. She thought the idea of conquest island sounded fun. Shiny things everywhere, fighting ... it sounded fun! What she had gotten- no. Not even close. Frilly dressed women and intricate things that she couldn't touch everywhere. It seemed like there was one big "DO NOT TOUCH" sign hovering over every object on the island. Not to mention all the art and scholarly company- she couldn't keep up. Not at all. Well there WERE shiny things, but that was besides the point!

She slid down next to Roch, shoving him lightly in a friendly way, and then listening to the teacher. Arts. Academics. Grace. Balance. All the reasons why Danny was so jacked it almost hurt. Danny WAS actually a little excited when all the servants came in unison to fill the room, but the frown returned when she saw what they were holding. Painting supplies. Danny was NOT artistic. Finger painting was her main artistic outlet. She gave Roch a worried look, but he was already working on his ink, so Danny turned to her own pot of black material and got to work.

Ick. Water. Why was it that everywhere she went, there was water. Always with the water. Every jacking where. At least she wasn't being forced to roll around in it or anything. Just a drop of water. She could do that.

Danny picked up the vial like it was filled with acid and cringed. It was just water. She could do this. She tilted the vial just a little, the water not even reaching the edge.

Oh dear Jack no she couldn't do this.

Then Roch had to go and spill his everything. Lucky for her, just a single drop landed in her ink pot- the perfect amount. "Augh! JACK Roch. Seriously?" she shouted at him. There was nothing she could do though. Roch was trying to pick up the water with extra papers and it DEFINITELY wasn't working. Danny let out a sigh and flicked her tail over the fire, which dried it up significantly faster. "Sally, you just had to go and spill the water didn't you!"

Completely forgetting about her own dilemma with the water, she picked up the mortar and started crushing her ink in an angry frenzy. Though she'd forgotten about the water, Roch's little spill had created a nice consistency in her inkpot. It wasn't perfect- far from it- but it would do for now. She leaned over whispered to Rikki, "Am I doing this right? I don't get it." She really didn't. Making ink was not in her class descrption.

She bit her lip and looked around at everyone else, insecure about her ink. This conquest thing was NOT working out the way she had planned it would. She had Rikki and Roch here- Yin too! For that, she was grateful, but it was really hard to try and learn the culture here when she felt she herself didn't get any of it. She would just have to do her best! That's all she could hope for, after all.

Ink well, please be well...

The slimer felt that he was going to enjoy this class as soon as their teacher said, “paint.” He had painted so much that he would humbly consider himself nearly professional. Though, he did have little time actually making the paint. He felt that it wouldn’t be different from mixing the paint products he had.
He watched the teacher. He watched how she carefully poured the water, and how she delicately crushed the cake of ink into fine powder that eventually blended perfectly with the water. He watched it excitedly. His eyes moving down to the set and table in front of him, and back up at the teacher until it was to be his turn.

And so, he sat, and took a breath in, and then out. He lifted his hand, to pull up his sleeve, and tipped his cup of water of the stone slab. The ghost gasped. He picked up the cup. He placed a bit of his sleeve at the edges of the slab as the water overflowed from it.

He frowned upon looking at the drowned slab of ink while the water seeped in through the threads of his clothes.

Once his sleeves had soaked enough of the water from pouring over the slab, the ghost took the pestle and began crushing what was left of the ink cake. Thankfully, it was mixing well enough, not even close to how the teacher had taught them, but it was close.

The ghost’s face was mute; flat and expressionless. He was rather disappointed at himself at that moment.

Because Rikki was the last of the three (Roch, Danny, and Rikki) to enter the class, he'd seen the issue his friends had had. Therefore, he managed to avoid slamming his face into the barrier. Instead he hopped out of his boots next to Danny's so that he petite flip flops were sandwiched between the two boils' much bigger shoes. Once properly barefoot he padded over to sit next to his ghoulfriend.

He couldn't say he was much more pleased about the assignment than Danny was. He really didn't like being artsy. Unless playing drums was artsy. But painting and crafting and all that intricate stuff sort of flew over his head. As could be demonstrated by his usually plain, boring daggers in the previous week. Delicate creativity just wasn't his thing.

He watched as Roch poured too much water, and as Danny couldn't pour any, and tried to hold back his snicker. He managed to add just a bit of water. Still probably too much to be considered fabulous, but at least it wasn't pouring everywhere. Perhaps he wasn't worthless at art after all! He glanced at Danny as she began crushing the ink and shrugged. "Not a clue." How was he supposed to know what to do? Seriously.

He picked up his own mortar and tried to do the same thing, but he over estimated the strength of the cake or himself and when he began to grind the cake fell apart. He glanced up at the teacher with wide eyes, hoping she hadn't seen, and tried to just keep grinding like he knew what he was doing. Maybe it would all turn out okay anyways. "I'm not very good at this," he whispered to his friends.

Yin was not the most observant when it came to signs. He disliked most of them, because they required reading. He did however, know what a shoe rack was, though he had not seen any at Amityville. Any time he went to the temple he had been expected to wear shoes, to arrive looking his best. As soon as they got there, they took them off. So he reached down, sliding of the tough but yet almost flimsy slips over his clawed toes (if they could be called that), leaving them on the shoe rack without ever needing to read the sign. This clan made sense to the mantodae.

The marble floor was almost painfully cold against his bare feet, but it was bearable. The room was itself was large but...serene. It was well decorated, the simple details that were there and could easily be taken for granted, or admired for hours, depending on the viewer. He was the sort that noted them, felt a small pang of nostalgia, appreciated them, and moved on. He was no artist, and he could not fully appreciate the craftsmanship of them. He found himself standing around the edge of the room, facing a table with a set of cushions, waiting patiently for the class to begin.

He was not waiting long when Professor Zhang Liulian came through the doors. He knew who she was, she had been at the dance class, and he bowed at her entrance, a reflex rather than any conscious effort that other visitors may have needed to make.

He was quickly disappointed when he discovered that they were not, in fact, waiting to leave the room and head out to the sparring fields. They were here to do something artistic. He was uncertain, but perhaps he was glad that he had taken the arts and crafts class at Amityville after the trials, though he doubted that knowledge of living(?) beads would help him here.

And now Assistant-Professor Lan Shanzhu appeared. He listened to the remaining instructions, knowing well enough to bow to his instructors, though he had not been doing so while at Amityville. This served to remind him of how lax his manners had truly been in recent months, and he was slightly flustered by the realization.

Tables were being sat up and while he moved forward to help the servants knew what they were doing and he could only stand there uselessly and then take a seat, trying not to become excited. This. This was what he was accustomed to. A brush not completely dissimilar to the sort that he had been taught to write with as a child. And everything was natural, no technology or odd devices such as pens here. He had never made ink before, that was not something that a scareling was allowed to do, and as he had not gone into academics he did not get far enough in school for it to be deemed of importance. Really, a boil going on the track to becoming a guard? No one, including himself, had really thought he was going to write more than his name for the rest of his life.

So he found himself watching in intrigue as she began to make the ink. So long as he did not stare at her face or meet her eyes it was not rude, this was a demonstration after all. So, a simple drip of water, and then grinding the ink. He could manage that. He reached for the water, eyeing the stone slab in front of him. Just a drip? He managed to get a good grip on the cup and carefully poured precisely the right amount onto the slab, setting the cup with the remaining water back down.

And now it was time to pound the ink down with the mortar. He went at it with a fair amount of enthusiasm, possibly pounding the cake of ink just a bit too much, but the ink and water mixed well enough. So, there was no guarantee that he could make any sort of artwork worth saving, but at least he could mix ink together.

Ink well, please be well...

Hel thought this whole ‘remove your shoes’ and ‘no, no, wear these kinds of shoes’ thing was kind of lame. She supposed when you had a floor you could see your reflection off of though, maybe you did want to walk around barefoot. Could the valkyrie spell ‘culture shock’ in regards to everything though? Yes she could.

The ghoul’s arms were crossed as she was introduced to their two new professors, and listened to instructions. In the back of her mind, she couldn’t help but feel that same authoritarian air she felt when Invictus first stepped into her group’s room back at the Haunted House, and she resisted the urge to snort in amusement. Her lips twitched though. Okay, so now she was barefoot, and if she had a question she needed to raise her hand…and if she wanted to leave, she needed to bow? Did they think they were her king or something?

This might not end well.

The ghoul watched as Lady Zhang prepared her ink, and once it was her turn, she settled herself on the floor, crossing her legs and rolling up her sleeves. Okay…water first…pffft. Hel. Painting. Just wait until she told Mot what she was doing, he’d laugh for sure, at her doing such a delicate thi—

The valkyrie made a small gasp as water started to flow out the stone slab. Ffff oops. She hastily stopped pouring, making a note not to get distracted again. Yikes okay…time to start grounding…It seemed like she was applying just enough force, for she watched the water start to mix. As it should. She only poured like almost all of the water on it.
