Background Summary:
04.11.2515 Whitney was born. Raised until 4 years old on Falaknuma. Unknown causes of panic attacks and insomnia made them move to another planet which actually seemed to help.
07.23.2519 Whitney and her family moved to Eridanus II. She was raised there until 17 years old, when they were forced to move again after the threat of the Covenant became so close. It was not worth the risk to stay there. So they moved to Reach, thinking such a strong world would protect them.
04.17.2533 Whitney joined the UNSC Marine Corps, she strolled down to the local enlistment center and signed up. She was at first abiding to the rules for the first two years of Boot camp, but she was loved by a lot of people, and started to slack a little. But not where enough to really give the drill sergeant a reason to drill her to death. But she never purposely got on someone's bad side, but she did use contraband on occasion, fire crackers and such for pranks against fellow marines. Never though would she do it around superiors. But of course, one time an officer came around the barracks as rotten eggs exploded in his face. But she admitted to what she had done which gave her punishment that was half of what the officer really wanted to do to her. Clean every bathroom on base for a month. Promoted to Private First Class two months later.
01.11.2534 Promoted to Lance Corporal after showing great leadership during a live fire exercise. It was well noted by her superiors she takes combat seriously. There was never a time she tried to act like she knew better that anyone else.
03.23.2534 Whitney designs and builds a custom version of the heat sneaking projectile of the M19 SSM. Though it become a hazard to use in combat for it's flaw of turning against you and was rejected.
08.19.2534 Promoted to Corporal once more for her paper on the use of explosives in and out of combat. Also, her squad was noted by a Spartan to be the one of the best he had seen.
02.13.2535 News of Jericho VII being glassed had reached the planet of Reach. Some freak out about how close by that is and know they will probably soon be discovered. Whitney believes the human race becomes stronger when cornered, she knows the Covenant will fall soon enough.
06.27.2535 Whitney is now co-leading the explosives and demolitions training. Though, she is still learning herself, she does know enough now to give a hand to the drill sergeant. She mainly did the safety instructions, and gave pointers to people firing their weapon for the first time.
07.07.2535 A marine lost his mind and killed his drill sergeant. Whitney was near by and took him down alive after hearing gun fire. She punched him at least 20 times in the face. He wasn't recognizable. Of course, it was dealt with and a month later Whitney finally heard that he was thrown out of the UNSC and in medical care because of mild brain trauma and no use of his lower jaw. Whitney was pleased he was alive, he could use what ever brain power he had left to think about what he did.
