HUMANITY
Marine Unit
Marines are the backbone of the UNSC's ground forces. Dropping into hostile territory, securing beachheads and taking the fight to the enemy,
the Marines live up to their credo: "First to Fight." Unfortunately due to the
tenacity and power of the Covenant forces, this also means "First to Die."
UNSC Marines are equipped with the latest and greatest military technology. Each Marine has a standard neural implant which projects tactical information directly onto their retinas, giving them real-time mission updates at all times. Standard Marine Combat armor is a titanium plated composite material that resistant to nearly all known ballistics weapons. Every Marine has been crosstrained in all UNSC issue weaponry as well as known Covenant weaponry.

Orbital Drop Shock Trooper Unit
Orbital Drop Shock Troopers fall under the command of the UNSC NAVY Special Warfare division, or NavSpecWar. They are Commandos trained for high-risk missions ranging from deep reconaissance to direct action. ODST Operators are the premiere Special Operations Group employed by the UNSC, not counting the SPARTAN-II program.
Each Trooper has all the implants and abilities of a UNSC Marine. ODST combat armor is similar to the Marine counterpart, but is vacuum rated with an onboard air supply of fifteen minutes. Unlike regular Marine units, ODSTs are deployed in individual fireteams ranging from six to ten Troopers. The most common insertion method employed by ODSTs is the Single Occupant Exo-Atmospheric Insertion Vehicle (SOEIV), which is a one-man drop pod fired from low orbit.
Additionally there is no rank or gender bias. Anyone who can complete the training is allowed to join the ODST ranks.

COVENANT
Unggoy and Kig-Yar Unit
Better known as Grunts and Jackels to the humans, they are the cannon fodder of the Covenant forces. The Unggoy are short, stout bi-pedals that have been known to run on all fours. They breathe methane, hence the tanks and gasmasks. They are easily frightened and are easily slaughtered against Marines. Their strength comes in numbers and superior technology.The Kig-Yar, on the other hand, tend to survive a lot more than the Unggoy. Taller than the Grunts, but still shorter than most humans, they are the recon/support units and can carry energy shields or powerful plasma rifles.

Mgalekgolo Unit
Also known as Hunters, these are the Covenant tanks. Standing at a massive 13 feet tall, they can flip a warthog with ease. They usually carry a shield on one arm and a powerful plasma beam on the other. The shield can double as a bludgeoning weapon while the beam can also fire concentrated shots. Though they may seem like massive monsters, they are in reality a ensemble of worm-like creatures called Lekgolo. These creatures work together to form the beast that is known as the Hunter or Mgalekgolo. These worms always travel in pairs known as Blood Brothers. A small known fact is that Scarabs are, in fact, controlled by Lekgolo, as they can be seen around the core.
