Eternal Ida HP: 90/100 Damage to Blight Monsters: 10 + 10 = 20 ( 20 > 15, all blight dead) Damage to the Source: 10 + 11 = 21 damage to source
As hard as she tried, each monster she beat down just reformed and returned, harrying her again. Ida aimed a kick to each, the group drawing back from her onslaught. In the breathing space that gave her, the eternal threw her arm up, trailing glowing petals, and called up her magic. The petals gathered and formed a bow that Ida grabbed from the air, drawing back the invisible string till a glowing arrow appeared in her hands. Aiming up and past her personal opponents, Ida released the arrow to send it roaring across the room, impacting the main mass with an explosion that shook it, sending dust and tiny pebbles raining down from the broken tile around it.
“Magic might do it… or fire?” She shouted over the din, hearing someone calling to her with questions about what to use. The burst of fire from that general she’d met got a significant look from her. “The rest of these things just keep coming… If we destroy the source, they’ll go to, but I haven’t found any weaknesses…”
The voice pulled her up short again, this time with actual words and a form that rose up behind the other, smaller monsters. She was caught off guard when tendrils of the black stuff lashed out in all directions, hitting her square in the chest and knocking her backwards. She stumbled, but recovered, rubbing the sore spot.
Fulgurite couldn't stop his eye-roll at the onslaught of sarcasm from Cryolite. "Hey, you ******** asked. Thanks for taking those shits out, though." Was there seriously more of them? Of course, there was. Why wouldn't there be--
There were times he wished he could seriously ponder the merits of never powering up again, but these people all knew who Matthew Gowan was too, knew who Orah Gowan and Arthur Gowan were by extension he was positive. "Anyway. Ida's not an an. White Moon. She's the one over there with whatever thinks it's being edgy by talking at us."
For good measure, he swept through his blight monsters, turning a helpful hand to Cryolite as thanks for what was done for him.
As an afterthought, he added, "I'm InFO, kind of my job to know this thing," he cracked his knuckles. "But she seems to have the right idea."
Even as the rest of her blights disappeared under the onslaught of attacks from Prehnite, Xyla and Hatsya did Hylonome finally feel a modicum of safety. There was definitely an advantage to being in a small grouping like this where everyone could watch each others backs. Hylonome sighed in relief as she stood upright. She'd taken damage earlier but it was easy enough to shake off giving the evolving situation. Even as the voice spoke again and more blights formed did Hylonome wonder how long this thing could keep reforming minions. However with the reveal of the larger figure at the center of the mass of darkness did a grin appear before tendrils (tentacles) lash out indiscriminately to strike multiple combatants. Even as she flinched at the sight did she catch the sight and sound of someone close by getting knocked backwards and she spun around to see Hatsya on the ground. Rushing over the corrupt senshi of edelweiss knelt to her fallen teammate and cupped her hands together before whispering the words that she'd only just recently learned,
"Hylonome's Grace!"
Watching as the flower bloom manifested in her hands Hylonome offered the bloom to Hatsya with a gentleness that belied the battle raging around them. With the knowledge that more attackers were queuing up to attack did she yell back to Xyla and Prehnite, "see if you can stall this new wave of attackers, will you?"
Quote:
Sailor Scout Attack: Hylonome's Grace Hylonome calls her attack and brings her palms together. In her hands a single magical Edelweiss flower blooms. She will then pass the flower to an ally. Once in possession of an ally the flower lingers for twenty seconds. In this time if the ally chooses to they can eat the bloom. Eating the bloom will ease very minor ailments. If not eaten the bloom disappears.
Can be used three times per battle. Hylonome can use her attack for her own benefit too.
Erytheia HP: 72/100 Damage to Source: 10 + 1 = 11 Damage to Blights: 10 + 5 = 15 / 3 of Pyper’s
So that was it! The source of the Blights and the voice had shown itself. He loosed a shot from his bow with an ethereal arrow. And got smacked by a tentacle in turn.
But he needed to focus. The Mauvian had asked him to open the door.
As he swatted away the Blights that had attacked the cat again, he replied, “I will try and open it!”
And he pushed on the door hoping it wasn’t locked.
These things just didn't give up. Lacerta gave an audible groan before striking out at her new trio of attackers. The voice that continued to mock those that had shown up to pitch battle finally seemed intent on revealing itself. That may have been good news but also not so good news. When ones enemy deemed it safe enough to reveal it's true form - that meant things could get worse before the tides turned. Sure enough the tendrils of the inky mass that lashed out and struck random individuals proved that this thing still had tricks up its sleeve.
Even as two of her attackers disintegrated into nothing did Lacerta dare to yell above the din. She was possibly going to earn animosity from all factions with this move but wasn't it better to make sure that people could still go on fighting?
Putting enough oomph into her call did she shout what she wanted everyone to know. "If anyone finds themselves in need of medical assistance I can lend a hand. I'll help any and all who need it."
Would it be hard for others to get over their conceived notions about factions in order to help against a common enemy? Only time would tell. Lacerta was willing to do just that in order to make sure that people could keep fighting. Maybe others that were present who could heal would come forward and offer their aid too.

Anakeion Squire of Castor HP: 75/75 Damage to Blights: Using magic; all 3 Blights down Damage to Boss: 4
"Oh, go ******** yourself," Anakeion said (more like hollered, but specifics, specifics), wiping her forehead to get rid of some of the sweat she'd built up during an exciting funtime fieldtrip to Blight Town. This called for a little drastic measures -- she gripped her staff and let the ice crackle up her arms, let it chill her, and then she hit.
The blow to the big guy was glancing - she had to overextend a bit - but it obliterated the rest of her immediate threats, and she could work with that, and ideally she would work with that. And it was more than nothing. She'd helped. She'd helped!

Sailor Cepheus HP: 44/50 Damage to Blights: Using magic - 2/3 dead, one at 3/5; 2 uses of magic remaining
One of them was in her face. It was getting way too close to her face -- Cepheus shrieked (quietly) (mostly), managed to slide from that shriek into "Cepheus Ink Splash -", and lashed out a little wildly until the newly-blinded one (did it... have functioning eyes?) and its closest neighbor were gone.
This didn't do a lot about the one who'd been slightly further back, which, okay, maybe she should have thought about first.
His attack had only managed to kill two of the monstrosities that attacked him, but there was still one that remained.
Except he didn’t have to wait for long. A lovely Senshi with white hair and reminded him of warmth (Eleonora) had swung at the monster trying to attack him.
Surtur stared in speechless awe at the young woman’s prowess, and shook his head at her apology.
“That was quite amazing. Thank you for your assistance. I hope to repay the favor, although I would also prefer these creatures to be sent back into whatever void they crawled out of,” he huffed and placed his hands on his hips before the next wave.
He did follow her, at least until she found a Page (Antisana) that she’d apparently been looking for. He didn’t move far, but gave them enough space for their reunion.
“Watch yourselves,” he called over his shoulder to the two.
There were three of the monsters that snuck up on him again. Another kick and jab with his elbow was enough to knock out two of them, but he was still struggling with the last one.

Iðavöllr Page of Polaris HP: 22/50 Damage to the Blight monsters: 1 + 5 = 6 (Iðavöllr takes out 1 of her blight attackers and the remaining blight attackers are left with 4/5 HP and 5/5HP respectively)
Iðavöllr gave a sigh of relief as the remaining attacker dissolved mid lumber, the relief reflected in her brown eyes as she looked over at the lavender-haired Page (Abzu) that had helped her.
"Very much so" she agreed, "And not really how I was expecting to spend my eve..."
Her voice tailed off as a different voice chose that moment to speak up, the voice almost... Wet - at least it did if a voice could even be described as being that.
It also sounded creepily amused as it talked about draining them and what sounded like everything else dry.
But maybe she should have been paying more attention to her surroundings rather to that of the creepy voice, because she wasn't expecting the tendril of ropy black stuff that came lashing out at her.
Worse the humanoid figures from before seemed to have somehow reformed - or maybe they were new ones - these particular ones all seemed to have club-like hands after all.
Mauvian Liryn (in human form) HP: 32/50 Damage to the Blight monsters: Liryn takes out all his blight attackers (10 + 5 = 15) Damage to the Source: Liryn does 10 damage (5 + 5) to the Source
Purplish eyes levelled a flat stare at the newest creature to emerge from the mass and whilst Liryn had heard the thing's words he wasn't particularly impressed by them–
Although a part of him wished that the thing didn't sound quite so... Wet.
He was a self respecting feline after all, even if he was in the other form right now - and (as far as he was concerned) felines and wet just didn't mix.
But whilst he was taking the creature's words as some sort of wet threat it wasn't the first time that things had threatened him and is was very unlikely that it was going to be the last either–
And then the thing had had the nerve to attack Athene and Liryn had gone from being flatly umimpressed to distinctly unhappy, because that tendril - whatever it was had most definitely come from its direction.
More of those humanoid creatures moved to take the place of the ones that he and Athene had dealt with earlier, but Liryn was not about to let them stop him from going after his main target - aka the main mass and that thing that had dared decide to target his friend.
Whimsical Blue
wasn't sure if you want a quote if our character is attacking the source
"For what it's worth," Abzu's laugh was warm and welcoming despite his mood and annoyance with these oilslick humanoids, "I didn't want to spend my night like this either. Honestly, I just want to get back to the hot tub and take a nap."
And now it was talking.
Great.
He shuddered. He could appreciate a good creepy sense of humour from a villain in a movie, but absolutely not when that villain moved into the real world and was made out of whatever this was. He scrunched his nose and took out this anger at the new oilslick humanoids that appeared in front of him--
And his new knight companion seemed to be having even worse luck--
"s**t, you alright?" Abzu's attention turned off his enemies to Iðavöllr.
Eternal Sailor Athene HP: 72/100 Damage to the Blight monsters: 10 + 3 = 13 (Athene takes out 2 of his blight attackers and the remaining blight attacker is left with 2/5 HP)
"Liryn!"
Athene called.
"Liryn.. Wait!"
But whilst he had done his best to try to call out after the tabby-eared mauvian, it had been hard to tell if the other had even heard him - and between being knocked off balance by the ropy tendril that had lashed out at him and the reforming humanoid figurines that had moved to close in on him, Athene hadn't exactly been in a position stop Liryn from darting on ahead or even follow after–
And by the time that he had managed to deal with two of the three humanoid things and at least knock the the remaining one back somewhat, his mauvian friend was long gone leaving Athene to hope that Liryn wouldn't get himself into tooo much trouble.
Second Stage characters and Sailor Cats should roll 8+1d10 for physical damage (min 9 damage, max 1cool
Oh. Oh Basiluzzo did not like the looks of that. He did not like the looks of that at all. "We need," of course, the monsters didn't stop coming, "that taken," and a second one down, "care of." And the third almost--almost--went down. "Do you see a way over there?"

Sailor Ran HP: 50 Damage to Blight Monsters: 13 -- B1: 0/5, B2: 0/5, B3: 2/5
Magical Direct Damage: First Stage: 10 + 1d6 damage, 0/3 uses left
Ran didn't like the monster that had shown up in the center of attention any more than Basiluzzo seemed to. But it didn't seem to matter, because more of the monsters were coming for them, getting between them and that center of attention. Muttering something unkind, Ran gave one last flick of a card. He was chagrined to see that one still stood--albeit unsteadily--in the pit he'd opened under them.
