⇢ Temper:Inspiring⇢ Personality:Israfel is one of the sweetest Angeni's in all of the lands. She was created from music itself. She often times will go out of her wait to aid anyone that she can; even if it means putting herself in danger. Loving to smile, and go about singing, she will often be seen doing so. Music is what drives her soul, and it honestly is what makes her continue on and on in her life. Though she is nice, she can also be seen doing acts that could be considered cruel in some aspects; that being telling others when they are wrong or when she disagrees with some thought. She has a very bold personality when she wants to, and due to this, she is not afraid to speak her mind; unless of course, it could seriously hurt someone. In that case, she will bite her tongue as best as she can, even though she wants so much to speak her mind.
If she is mid song, do not interrupt her. Israfel has the concentration and spirit that is outmatched. She can't stop herself from finishing a song, even if it means being unable to respond to someone for a short spell. Her love for music causes her some strife, as she literally feels as if she cannot stop the song that comes to her lips. Though at times, she will stop if it is truly important. The music that comes from her often portrays her inner most thoughts or feelings; though decoding them could take longer than a person has time for. She is, generally, very dedicated to the music in her soul.
Always going out of her way to aid people, Israfel would give up her wings in order to help anyone that asked ( even someone such as a Skinwalker ). Unless she truly would have an issue with the person in question, she would do anything. There have been rumors that she would inspire those around her to do the best they could, to be able to achieve anything so long as they believed in her; and she would push to inspire them to get everything they want and dream of. There are also times where she would travel with a person, or stay with them for an extended amount of time in order to help them to achieve their goals. She is a very giving mare, and rarely takes when things are offered to her.
Israfel loves families. She loves being a part of two; her adopted and the distant family that she learned of only after she became an adult. But she loves every single member that she has met on either side. The mare enjoys seeing foals, even if they aren't related to her. She would go far out of her way to aid one and adopt any lost foal that needed a good home; mostly because she knew she was the same at one point in her life. The mare takes care of those around her, protecting them even if it means a fight. She is a fantastic mother ( or will be ); and in that, she is a fantastic teacher as well. █████ ████████ ███ ███████████ ⇢ Domain:Angeni of Song⇢ Justification:Have you ever found yourself just humming a tune that you couldn't seem to think of the origin of? Or perhaps lyrics are bouncing in our head? Israfel is the inspiration of this. She inspires all music around her, finding herself to be the origin of this. If you wanted to write a song, she would be there to aid you. She, herself, has a lovely voice, and chooses to sing to those around her in hopes to further inspire them to let the creativity out and allow music to flow through them as well. When someone creates music on their own, she feels the power inside her and sometimes even sings the song that they sang. Song is just something that moves her, inspires her. She is song, and music is her.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ ⇢ Quirks:⊱ Her songs are some of Israfel's most important things. ⊱ Often times, Israfel will be seen wandering around exploring the areas around her, and aiming to inspire everyone that she meets. ⊱ Flying makes Israfel one of the happiest mares in the world.⇢ Fears:☠ Losing her voice. ☠ Watching someone get hurt.⇢ Likes:♥ Music ♥ Flying ♥ Aiding others ♥ Going on runs ♥ Sweet grass ♥ Smelling flowers ♥ Hearing stories⇢ Dislikes:✖ Pain ✖ Being in trouble ✖ Seeing pain in others ✖ Despair ✖ Ignorance█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ ⇢ Skills:❣ Calming others; specifically with song.

The Great Spirits have blessed another basket. A basket colored black, with the gentle coloration of rainbows in the softest tint. On the basket is gentle, soft markings of musical notes. Those that heard, mostly small creatures and birds, could hear soft music coming from the gentle wicker basket. One nice morning, a couple, having wanted children for quite some time, found their way to the basket, and adopted it. Chepi and Aras took the basket under their care, and treated it as one of their own. From that point on, the musical foal within the basket found that she was one of the most cherished, loved, blessed foals of all the world.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ The young foal grew up with the knowledge her adoptive parents were wanderers. She followed them constantly, loving every second she had with them. Her father, Aras, taught the young Angeni how to fly. She enjoyed learning, and found that she took to it naturally. She also learned her singing skills were far superior than many others. She was inspired by Aras to go farther and farther into her love of singing; and with that Chepi inspired her to do just the same. She found that her family was the best thing she had every held.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ The Angeni formed a fantastic relationship with her family. She spent tons of time with her family, but as she matured, she realized she had to do something. She had to figure out her powers, and work hard at what she was sent to the Kawani lands to do. So, she said a good bye to her family, and went her own path, aiming to help those around her, and inspire them toward the world of music to aid them.
She wandered quietly from one area to another. As she explored, she found herself longing for family. She waited patiently though, exploring as she went, and found several different things. She found out how music could change lives, and how everything changed in the blink of an eye so long as someone was there to help them. Her wings often fluttered as she sang, which she wasn't sure why. Then, one night, she heard rumor of another family, that resembled her. She looked into it, asking different Soquili, and somehow realized that they were related in some way.
As she ventured, she met a young stallion by the name of Amayo. She grew fond of him, and they spent several weeks traveling together. She found him to be a wonderful stallion, with a kind heart and gentle soul. But they had to part ways. Israfel found that she wanted to spend more times with him, but ended up leaving him to his own ventures, while she wandered away to find the family that she had lost so long ago.
Wishing to locate these Soquili, Israfel searched for them. She refused to give up hope. Eventually, she found a herd called Fiamma Eterna. She ventured in quietly, unsure what was going to happen. But as she did she found herself greeted by a stallion with natural colors. She observed him curiously, but soon learned about him. Lutra, a stallion who was alpha of the herd, took her in. She met with him, and easily conversed, loving every second she spent with him. She could tell he was a gentle stallion. And within seconds, she found out that he was mated to one of her very own cousins, Akari.
She spent a few months with Akari and her mate, and learned of their story. She was saddened by their inability to have children, but needed to move on. She had people to assist, and so Israfel wished them all the luck, and wandered away. She ventured around the lands once more, singing her songs and looked around. She met several Soquili and assisted them the best she could. But in the end, she still felt incomplete. As days turned to months, she realized something was going on. She met a stallion by the name of Douma, who had been following her because of her voice. She was confused by this, but realized soon after that the stallion had fallen in love with her for her voice, and she was flattered. She ended up falling in love with him as well, and ended up traveling with him.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ 。 。 。 。 。 。

⇢ Temper:Alluring⇢ Personality:Foal: As soon as she pops, she is going to be a smiling bundle of joy. Vanwyn, while a child, will be hyper, happy, and practically uncontrollable. It won't be until she is literally sat down and told about their lifestyle, told about how the Flock works, that Vanwyn will begin to focus. Though she will still be happy, and curious, she will also be willing to learn and do all she can to improve. She'll find herself asking many questions, and learning as much as she can absorb in a short amount of time. There is also a good chance that she will have a rather spirited nature about her. Her personality will lure people to her; make them want to be around her and interact with the happy, curious little filly that is destined to be much, much more than that.
Clumsy is one of the words to describe her. Though she works hard, Vanwyn just seems to be unable to get her clawed feet to cooperate with her body. She often times stumbles over her steps, mostly when she dances, or runs ( as she grows older, she is able to control her movements better ). But the main artistic feature she holds is her musical talent. She is a wonderful singer, even at such small age. Vanwyn sounds much like lovely birds singing to the morning. Though at this stage of her development, she can't hit all the notes like she wishes she could, but her voice is still something that could be considered a gift from the Great Mother. Music was her talent, and it was the muse that strives to make her what she dreams to become.
Now when given the word "huntress" many people would throw out other words such as "vicious" or "quick". But not this little filly. She has yet to mature to that level yet. Vanwyn's best word for her hunting as a foal would be "cute". No, she wouldn't leave the Flock territory or hunt anything dangerous. But she would find herself practicing the skills she had observed from the other Harpies on her pen mates, as well as random bugs, rodents, birds, ect. She would practice as best as she could, while trying not to hurt the other foals and creatures. Can you imagine a little filly partially crouched, hunting a butterfly?
Adult: Strong. Smart. Beautiful. Cunning. Confident. And she knows it. Vanwym, not only in appearance, but in personality has matured into a wonderful creature. She walks with her head held high, and her body as well groomed as a princess on her way to a ball. She's sweet in nature, usually rather happy, but knows when to buckle down and show people who is boss. Vanwym has a natural talent of luring people to her; be it with her beauty or her wit. She seems to know what to say, and when to say it. Or how to look ( Though honestly, she thinks no one can deny her what she really wants ). She is helpful, and kind. But cross her, and she will become one of the most vicious Harpies you have ever laid eyes on ( It is hard to make her mad though ). She's very rarely depressed/sad about anything, liking to look on the better part of life than dwell on what may be seen as the lesser. So in a basic status, she is a lovely, kind Harpy, with a natural talent, as well as a not-so-quick temper.
She has matured once again. Vanwyn has trained hard with her mother and all the other Harpies within the Flock. And now that she has grown, she has caught her footing; she can dance. Though she is not the best at it, she is able to move with grace and allure. But her voice, that has been the highlight of her artistic nature. After working for several hours each day ( even if it was just humming as she walked ), her voice has became like an angels. She can reach almost every note, and knows many different tunes. Besides her voice, she has learned to play different instruments. She has a strong talent toward the stringed ones; she trained herself to pluck the strings with her claws, without snapping them. The strings are usually a lot stronger than those of normal stringed instruments, but that is beside the point. She is much like her mother, musically talented, and willing to learn more if she can. When she practices, she is very serious, her mind focused on the task at hand. It is almost like she is determined to get what she can done. But when she is performing, she is expressive, showing many emotions ( from body language, voice tones, facial features, ect ).
Vicious is now a proper word. Vanwyn, while on the hunt, finds herself almost in a different mind frame. She gets completely serious, focused, and moves as quietly and swiftly as a hunting falcon. Her pray rarely escapes her clutches. Using her wit and speed, she figures out ways to capture the creatures she hunts easily. Be it by being violent, or luring them with tricks and flirting, she usually gets her target. This Harpy is not one to toy with when she is hunting either. She tends to snap at people when they bother her too much, due to her mind being locked on what it is doing. Unless it is important information, one shouldn't bother her as she hunts.
She is a Harpy, yes. But who is to say that Harpies can't be romantic? Vanwyn was raised to be the dominate personality; to be confidant in all that she happens to behold. If she takes a fancy to a stallion ( be it one she captured or one that she met within the Flock territories ), she is likely to ask the stallion to come back to her nest. While there, she will talk and learn a bit more about the creature, before sending him off. Her version of wooing the stallions ( even though she could easily just demand they spend time with her ), would be to have them do certain tasks. While doing these tasks, she would evaluate them, making sure they are strong. After all, she wants stallions that will make her feel even more special. If they pass her tasks, she is likely to give them gifts or trinkets ( something that signifies that she has claimed them ). That is, of course, if they are not already claimed by another Harpy. If that were the case, she would ask permission to play with the stallion before doing so.
After all the maturity that she has gained throughout her life, Vanwyn learned one thing that always stuck within her mind. "The Flock is only as happy, only as strong, as it's happiest and strongest members". And though that could be described as being the females, there is one thing that is for certain. Without the males, the females would have no Flock to grow and make stable. So, with that in mind, Vanwyn found herself wanting to help anyone that she could. If it meant that she would have to put aside something that she needed to get done, to help a lost, not physically, but mentally and emotionally lost, stallion, she would do so. If it meant being there for her Sisters, to ensure that they held the strength that all the females should hold, she would do so. She would listen with all her being, she would give as much advise as she could, so long as they listened with the respect that she herself would give. Vanwyn would consult all members of the Flock as best as she could, and hope that they would become stronger for the good of the Flock. █████ ████████ ███ ███████████ ⇢ Quirks:⊱ It is very hard to get Vanwyn angry, but when you do, it's hard to get her un-angry ⊱ She has a small quirk of tapping her claws when she's thinking. ⊱ Vanwyn doesn't like being bored, so she'll find something to do instead.⇢ Fears:☠ Being left behind. ☠ Skinwalkers; particularly the bat ones. ☠ Wolf like Soquili.⇢ Likes:♥ Feathers ♥ Singing ♥ Playing music ♥ Hunting ♥ Capturing ♥ Being with the Sisters ♥ Family ♥ Going on runs⇢ Dislikes:✖ Blood { Aside from Food } ✖ Skinwalkers ✖ Dancing { Sometimes } ✖ People who just give up ✖ Insults█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ ⇢ Skills:❣ Hunting and tracking. ❣ Singing. The Great Mother graced Vanya. She had given birth to three, healthy foals. One of which we will describe in the story below. When she was put within the basket she was confused. But she rested easily there, often times making small noises here or there. She learned her parents noises, smells. And eventually broke free from the basket that she had been placed within.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ Emerging, she was confused. The tiny foal had never in her life ( despite it being short ) been confronted with someplace so bright! She eventually found her bearings though, and was greeted by her mother, father, and two sisters, as well as a mare that the smell was familiar, but not certain. Within minutes she was making lovely chirping noises, and greeting everyone, hugging to them. Because of the noises she emitted, her mother named her Vanwyn, meaning "Beautiful Musician". And it was exactly what she would one day become.
Vanwyn grew up slowly. Not to say she wasn't smart. But she was, in fact, a hyper thing. She didn't care much for learning for a while. And due to this, she actually couldn't even dance very well. But her voice was one of the most beautiful things about her, let alone within the Flock. She often would sing to herself, and venture around like a happy little foal. It was rare to find her not happy. She started to go to her lessons, as well has have private teachings by Vanya and Risuler on how to better her dancing. It worked well for her, and she gradually started to learn to dance better and better.
Despite living in a fantastic home, and making friends, Vanwyn's foal-hood was not all flowers and rainbows ( it never was ). One day, her family went out on a stroll, and she slipped while trying to attack a butterfly. She fell out of Flock territory, and ended up running into a mare by the name of Neva. A skinwalker, one of the worst things to run into. Terrified, she almost succumbed to what the mare wanted, until her father intervened, and fought the walker off. Terrified, Vanwyn ran once within safety, and was terrified to even go near the boarders again. She feared the outside world, and never wanted to leave.█████ ████████ ███ ███████████ After the incident, Vanwyn grew very quickly. She matured into a lovely mare, the van in her name coming out in an obvious manner. She grew fantastic at singing, even more so than she thought she would. Some said her skills were the best within the Flock grounds. Her dancing was still somewhat off balance, and though she worked hard, she still had a bit of issues. She eventually got better, and on the first hunt that the three sisters got to go on, she finally achieved a dance that she was extremely proud of. She was praised, and then, she went on her first trek out of the Flock grounds since her incident with the walker.
Vanwyn loved it. She was a natural born huntress. She could move within the trees easily, and bound from one place to another. She was fantastic at catching small prey, and spotting creatures, usually from the noises they made. She was great at hearing noises, at recognizing them. It usually came from her listening so much as a child. She enjoyed the feel of the wind on her fur and going through her feathers. After several months of hunting, she was, in fact, a perfectionist at it.
Then came the night she ran into something so peculiar. Vanwyn had never seen something like it before. At first, she observed, but she had to approach. He was tall, with a long, wolf like tail, and paws instead of hooves or the Harpy claws. His name was Honovi, and she was enthralled. She found herself almost obsessing over the stallion, and would often times go out more to see if she couldn't find him. Over time, they grew to have a sort of respect for each other, and Vanwyn wanted him to be hers. But she was smart. She knew that forcing this stallion to join the Flock was not the best way to go about it, seeing as he would probably fight her. She had to use other means.
Later, she ended up running into the Walker known as Neva once more. She confronted her, but within minutes of the encounter, felt like she was a filly again; small, helpless, and unable to do anything. It wasn't until Honovi showed up, and ran the Walker away, was she able to regain herself. After that, Honovi joined the Flock. Vanwyn kept him as her personal pet. No one was to have him. He was hers, and nothing would change that. He had to go through a quarantine process, due to the Flock's fears of Walkers, but eventually, was let free, and given to live with Vanwyn in her nest.
They were happy. They hunted every moon, at least, but usually went out much more than that. She loved being with him. Vanwyn very happily kept him near and dear to her. She loved him, and stayed by his side for all the days and all the moons. As their time together grew, she found herself to be regnant. Shocked by the blessing of the great mother, Vanwyn happily told her parents of her pregnancy. The children would have to be watched with a careful eye, she was warned, due to their fathers bloodline. She agreed, and went about her way. As she grew more round from her small loves in her tummy, she was unable to hunt, and would thus send Honovi with his mother to do the work. She eventually had the children, three healthy foals that were a mix of her harpy blood and the blood of wolves. Two girls, and one boy. She loved each and every one of them, and adored on them.
They grew up strong and healthy, and between Vanwyn and Honovi, they raised the children with strength and wisdom. The girls were trained to fight and dance and sing, even if they were clumsy at first. She loved them to death. Her son was trained to be perfection in the eyes of the mares. Too soon were they adults, and she was uncertain how they would fit in. But she held them to the highest of respects and praised them with every task they set out to do. Her children were strong and precious to her, and no matter what, she loved them to death. That was until one fateful night, there was a loud commotion. She ran out to see what was going on, only to realize that her daughter, Vanetette was gone with two Flock stallions. She was shocked and devastated, and quickly hid herself away against Honovi for the betrayal of her daughter. Within the week, her only son was gone, fled from the Flock land and seen as a betrayer of their people. She was devastated by this, and had no idea what to do. When she went to locate Honovi and seek his comfort, he was gone as well, and her world came crumbling down.
Vanwyn spent days destroying the only way to her high up nest for those without claws. She ripped apart her nest and threw herself into sorrow and despair. For weeks she mourned and found herself to only grow more and more upset. She cried and cried and cried. And after months of her crying, her father, remaining daughter, and close friend came to her. They helped her through her hard time; and as the moons passed, she eventually began to heal. She started to hunt again; started to decorate her nest and go back to teaching her students. She smiled and apologized to Vanrui for her actions and pushing her daughter away so harshly. Vanrui quickly accepted the apology, and they started to heal the lose of their family together.
Risuleri, a close friend of Vanwyn's mother and now Vanwyn, was a key factor in her healing. She protected her and showed her the ways of the Flock again; showed her that the Sisters would always be there to protect her. She grew to love and trust Risuleri, and eventually, put her faith in her very strongly. Months ticked by, and she was growing stronger in her ways again. It was then that Risu decided it was time to introduce Vanwyn to stallions that would help her in her own way. She started to visit the Whistle Stallions nests, learning of their ways and how they acted. She found comfort in them and enjoyed their company. She started to learn to trust once more.
Once she was comfortable again, Risu decided to send Vanwyn to the "most skilled Whistler she'd ever been with". Uncertain, Vanwyn rejected the offer for weeks, before finally conceding. She searched out the stallion known as Kalyana. And shockingly, she was memorized by him. She grew to enjoy his company more than she could ever explain. And as she continued to come back, she found she was falling for the stallion. She held back her feelings though, afraid they would be rejected and her joyous time with him would have to stop. Instead, she settled herself to talking with him and laying with him. As the months passed, Kalyana revealed that he loved Vanwyn and all that she was. Vanwyn, overwhelmed by Kalyana's words, fell for him even deeper. She confirmed his feelings, and shared her own, before claiming him as hers.
Since then, Vanwyn has settled down into a comfortable life of love with Kalyana, and teaching her students. She hasn't attempted to have more children yet, as the thought puts fear in her heart. Vanwyn is comfortable where she is, and will someday seek out the will to have children with the new love of her life. Until then, she's content with laying beside him while telling stories of love. █████ ████████ ███ ███████████ 。 Resting and recovering with Kalyana. 。 Teaching those around her to sing and dance with the most grace available.
