She smiled; a bright, wonderful smile that could light up the world around her.
Israfel was happy. More than happy. She was overjoyed and ready and willing to do anything, honestly. But she had just recently ( maybe two moons or so ) met her distant family. And not her adopted family; her real family. Her cousins. She had met them recently while out and about; and due to that, she had fallen in love with them. Not in a romantic way, but that family way that always made her heart thump happily. She wiggled her nose some, her wings fluttering against her back before folding down tightly against her back as she walked. She was excited to be able to go and find them. Word on the wind had told her where they resided, and she was on her way to go and find them while she had a chance.
Taking a deep breath, the colorful mare moved slowly through the woods. Her hooves brushed at the grass and leaves that had fallen form the fall. Letting her head tilt, she lifted her eyes toward the mountain, before a small smile moved across her features, calming slightly. Yes. She was almost there. She could see the base, if she looked hard enough! Smiling easily, her tail giving a small flick, the mare started to trot forward, her wings fluffing slightly with excitement. She found the edge of the forest, and broke through, her voice soft as she sang while moving.
"I'm coming home, coming home. Tell the world I'm coming home. Let the rain, wash away. All the pain of yesterday. I know my kingdom awaits, and they've forgiven my mistakes. I'm coming home, coming home. Tell the world I'm coming~"
Shaking out her mane, she let out a small call; just a soft little whinny as she moved forward into the official herd lands. She looked around curiously, before smiling some. Now was the time to go and find he family, and see what they all had been up to since she last saw them, last met them. Her nostrils flared lightly as she tried to pull in the smell of those around her. Who was she going to see first, she wondered to herself. She was excited either way.

Lutra had been back at the hub of the herd center. Nebula wanted to study the flame and as the leader he needed to be near by. The blind mare was rather interesting and ever since she announced what created the flame she's always found excuses to linger. The stallion paced around the cave's mouth, there was so much on his mind these days. His 3 kids were on topic right now, Illuminatus had decided to stay in the herd as expected of him and even took on the life of a lantern carrier. But his daughters... Especially the oldest didn't seem like she would stay. There was to much going on. And the stallion was brought back to the real world when word of a stranger entering the herd land came to meet his ears. Lutra hadn't heard of any guests coming and traditions of baskets being left were always followed. And those requesting services had a procedure. This must be a horse that accidentally stumbled in or there was an emergency. Abandoning his post at the head of the cave Lutra scooped up his lantern and headed right toward where this new horse was. Regardless of his personal wearies regarding Nebula the herd came first. There were a few horses gathered near by but mostly everyone went about their business when Lutra's green eyes finally fell upon Israfel. "Welcome to the Eterna Fiamma Herd." He announced around his green glowing lantern. "How may we assist you?" Lutra hadn't known to much about Akari's family, outside of her having a twin, and her mother passing and being reborn... Lutra never met them. He wondered at times if he had taken her from her family, but just like everyone else so long as their duties were taken care of, she was free to leave and see them.

The mare let her eyes flicker quietly from one horse to another. She stared for a moment toward one mare in particular, her head tilting. Who was that? But within a few moments, she was once more distracted. Her ears perked up toward the stallion that seemed to be in charge. Well, that was interesting. He seemed to be the head of the family, or at least she figured he was, considering that everyone seemed to be staring toward him and respected him... Unless she was just delusional.
Shaking her head, which in turn caused her mane to shift and flop against her neck, Israfel lifted her head to watch the stallion with ease. So he was in charge. She smiled at the greeting, inclining her head gently to him, her eyes closing briefly, before opening once more and allowing her to lock eyes with the stallion. He was interesting looking, very normal colors, and his eyes seemed gentle. She tilted her head to stare toward the lantern in light curiosity, before letting her eyes lift once more to stare up toward him. "Oh! Hello there, and thank you. My name is Israfel." She said, smiling lightly. "I heard word on the wing that some of my family lived around this area."
She smiled at him, that sweet, gentle smile that usually helped with any person around her. Flicking her ears around lightly, she smiled, and tilted her head to the side. Yes, this was it. She was going to meet some of her family that she hadn't seen in quite some time, but it would have to wait until she was able to find them. For now, she was going to just talk with the stallion that greeted her.

Lutra tilted his head at the mare. "Oh? Well there is a chance they could be here." Well it was kind of a relief that she wasn't looking for help. They had been so short handed and thing have been getting a little tough. But since she was hear to see family the least he could do was maybe offer to show her around.
"My name is Lutra, can I show you around and help you look for your family?" The mare made him think of Akari, the colors mostly, Akari's sister Yunai had soft rainbow colors like that. But the pelt and spots were pretty different, some of them looked like music notes. Maybe she had a power that had to do with music.
"Why do you tell me about your family?"

Israfel smiled lightly at the comment. That would be great, if she were here. She had heard rumors, but who was to say they were true. Shaking out her mane lightly with a soft whinny, she nodded her head at the stallion, letting bright eyes lock on him. Her eyes flickered toward the lanturn for a moment, curious about why it was there, but she brushed it off. No need to be rude. Perhaps she would ask about the orgin of it later? Nodding at the internal thought, she moved over toward him and tilted her head, staring at him with bright eyes. "That's good to know! I do hope so; I'm tired of searching, to be hones." She said with a slight laugh, before she glanced around the area slightly.
It seemed like a good place for a herd; but what did she know. Israfel had never belonged to a herd. She was more of a wandering spirit at heart. Just like her adoptive parents. She didn't know who her real family was, to be honest, just the rumors on the wind. But she had to seek them out when she heard of them. Chepi and Aras had understood, and given her their blessing; with the knowledge that she would be coming back very soon. Smiling once more toward the stallion, Israfel nodded her head lightly to the statement. Lutra. She would make sure to remember that for future reference. "I'm Israfel. It is a pleasure to meet you,Lutra. And of course! I know they are Angeni like me, with rainbow looks to them, but that's about all I know." She admitted, before shrugging her shoulders lightly.
She shifted quietly. Israfel moved up along side him, glancing at him with light eyes, before smiling softly and nodded her head. Yes, it was time to go look for them. She hoped they could find the family members easily enough. And if not, she would continue to search. Despite being tired wand wanting to rest, she refused to stop her search to do so. She would find them; even if it killed her.

"I can understand that." Lutra smiled around the ring. "Not everyone is accustomed to something like that." Lutra spent his days wandering the paths without something to really be looking for. So he had the endurance for the walking, but the mental strain? Who knows.
"Rainbows? Well that's a little vague, but there is a mare around with darker colored rainbows. She's sorta like... The alpha female I guess. My mate." If it was Akari Lutra had to assume her family was larger then he had thought. It made him a little jealous really. He didn't have any family... He was given to the heard as a basket. The Wise Ones were all gone now. Well he had kids, they were given to him and Akari.
"It might be a little hard to track her down though. It's always very busy around here. There's always something to do, you know?" Lutra glanced over at the cave and hesitated for a moment. That mare was still in there. But he had more things to be doing.
"So where about did you come from?"

Israfel blinked curiously toward him. He understood? Well that was good! She smiled at him, her wings shifting along her back, before they laid still in a gentle fold. She enjoyed her wings, honestly. Not only did they give her flight, where she could go where she pleased; but it kept her warm too! Taking in a deep breath, she had to resist the urge to sing or at least hum something. Instead, she paid attention to the stallion, nodding her head as she spoke. His mate, huh? For a moment, Israfel thought back to the brightly colored stallion who she had met on her travels here, and as she did, her heart gave a small putter. But she pushed it aside so that she could focus. Maybe one day she would run into him again. The thought made her smile.
Glancing toward him for a moment, she nodded again. Busy. That was good. No one would be bored, right? "I wish I could say I did, but being a traveler, there was never really anything for me to do. Even my adoptive parents traveled; so herd stuff isn't something I know much about." She explained, her voice gentle. She moved forward, toward him and glanced at teh cave for just a moment, curious about it. Perhaps later she would question the sight of the cave. But for now, she focused once more on him, on the question he asked. "Um... No where, really. I've been everywhere, I feel. Though the most recent place I stayed for a few days was a lake not far from here." She said, glancing over toward the west.
