3 :: Detailed Information ::
Tree: Niz's tree is on the very outskirts of the fruit tree lands. It's still young, so it's not too tall yet. It's young, bright, full of life; its colors are vivid and bright in all seasons, in any type of weather. The bark is a rich light brown color, and its leaves a deep green; however, the leaves can sometimes take on a reddish tint in the summer, and in winter, they turn into a delicate pink shade. In its lower branches and even some of the higher ones, placed delicately and precisely, are flowers of every color imaginable. Niz loves to find flowers and place them in her tree, but she doesn't touch any flowers growing beneath her tree, or within a certain area around it. When the flowers in her tree wilt or die, they are carefully plucked out and Niz disposes of them somewhere. Where that spot is, Niz isn't in any hurry to tell.
Personality/attitude: Niz has an entire list in her head of all her feelings and emotions, just in case someone asks. She is perpetually up-beat, although in rare circumstances, she can actually be not as happy as usual. There are tons of words that could describe her, but the best ones or the ones used most often are up-beat, enthusiastic, bubbly, and curious. She believes that every new creature she meets is friendly and will be her friend, and surprisingly has yet to experience anyone that would drastically alter that belief. She has met one nequus, however, who has brought the thought that not all others are friendly. She now keeps that in mind when meeting others, although the thought doesn't change how she acts towards others she meets, which is, very surprisingly, curious and enthusiastic.

Best Friends:
Nyx - Nyx was the first nequus that I ever met. She was very nice, and offered me a place to stay and a herd to be with! She seems very down to earth and kind, I don't think she'd ever hurt a fly unless she had to. She's definitely my best friend, I don't know where I'd be without her.
Maurice - I met this stallion on a snowy hill up north, and he was injured so I took him to the valley so he could stay in D'ob to regain his strength. He has a pretty marking on his shoulder, as well as a seawater-filled pendant that hangs from a silver chain around his neck, which is really pretty. He has a delightful accent and a polite way of speaking, and he's very, very nice.
Virgil - I met Virgil early one morning, and he was an amiable, quiet sort of nequus. Seemed to be quite nervous of just about everything, and bolted when Skittles pounced on him, poor thing.
Skittles - Skittles is my new little best friend, and we've grown quite attached to each other since we met when he pounced on Virgil. He travels with me everywhere, and I make sure no one steps on him.
Sol - This pale Ichsa stallion was the second one I met, and also the second one I met who was injured, poor thing. He has a delightful way of speaking, not an accent like Maurice, but how he words his sentences. He seems like a self-appointed warrior who aids those who cannot protect themselves. Definitely a wonderful nequus, and he was very nice.
Aitumn - I met this jala a few days after I met Nyx. He's a very restless spirit, this one. He likes to make up stories and legends to tell other nequus. I hope he can cure his restlessness, or at least tone it down a bit. I mean, really! He only stays in one place for a couple days, tops. What fun is that?

Zaknafein - This giant green Aeri was surprised when I appeared, but he seemed very nice. He's been looking for his good friend Aitumn, and he seemed really happy when I offered to go look for him.

Vulo - He lied to me and tricked me when I met him and now we're having a foal. Well, I am - Skittles chased him off. I don't want to see him again...

5 :: Meetings with Friends ::
A Splotchfest Aeri - At sunrise I met the leader of a herd in D'ob, and she seemed awfully nice! We got along great, too, and she's letting me make D'ob my home!
An Indecisive Jala - I met a Jala who couldn't really make up his mind whether to wander off more or stay for a while longer. He isn't much of a talker in my opinion, but I heard he does like to tell stories.
Rubies on the Snow - I was exploring a bit up in a snowy area, and I met an injured Ichsa stallion. After a bit of uncomfortable conversation, I brought him to D'ob so he could rest and heal.
An Interesting Bae - TBC
A Unique Aeri - I met a really strange Aeri today; he had things the humans made on him, and he couldn't fly. Said he didn't have a home, either. Weird..
A Silver Jala - TBC
A Touch of Spring - I met a pretty blue bae who seems to be nervous of everything. Not too far into our meeting we found an adorable little rit named Skittles! He decided to stick with me, and we went for a walk with Virgil, to help calm his nerves.
Winter`s Legacy - While exploring the outskirts of D'ob, I came across this creamy stallion near a little river. That's the second Ichsa stallion who's been hurt I've come across! I must attract them or something. Anyway, I talked with him for a while, then we had a good run towards the heart of the valley so he could talk with Nyx. He needs to rest and heal, just like Maurice did.
A Green Aeri - While wandering around the valley, going to my favorite spot to see the sunset, I found this giant Aeri. He's been looking for Aitumn, and I was happy to offer my help.
Exploring - I met Aitumn for the second time, I hadn't seen him in a while. We talked, he told us a story, and he promised us he would let us see his foal when it's born. I can't wait!
Cliffside Encounters - I went to the ocean to find Maurice, and I found him really fast! He showed me how to glide down from the cliffs, and then he showed me all around the beach!
Close Encounter - I met a pretty Ichsa mare at the beach! Poor thing's been pining for her lost love for several years. I hope he comes back someday for her.

Nizhoni - I met Niz in spring-time, 'n she offered to let me tag along 'n keep me safe. She's really nice, though she seems to always have her head stuck up in the clouds.

Virgil - I met him the same time I met Niz. He seems really nice, but the poor guy seems to be scared of just about everything.
Aitumn - He seems pretty cool. I liked his story, though Niz didn't seem to understand its significance. I can't wait to see his kid, though, I'm sure it'll be adorable.
Disliked:
Zaknafein - I dun like him at all. Niz seemed to be fine with him, but she thinks everyone is friendly. He kept making nasty looks when she wasn't looking, 'n if she wasn't there I think he woulda stomped me into a Rit pancake. I hope we never see him again... I feel bad for whoever he's looking for. A Touch of Spring - I had just been climbing trees in the valley, when I spotted Niz 'n Virgil. I hopped onto Virgil's back and sent him bolting, but Niz was nice 'n Virgil came around, too.
The Big Bad Green Aeri - Scary. Scary scary scary. I was riding on Niz's back again 'n we wandered around the valley, 'n she decided to run straight into this big brute of an Aeri. I swear he would've flattened me or chased me off if he got the chance. Thankfully he didn't get such a chance.
Exploring - We found Aitumn, as Niz went looking for him, and he said to stay away from Zak. Good advice. He also told us a story he made up himself, and he told us about his fruit tree in Shrilal. We get to see his foal when it's born!

9 :: The Beginning ::
Wow, I've started a journal..thing! I never really considered writing everything down before, but after thinking about it for a while, I decided it would be a good idea. See, I don't how, or why, or what happened, but I lost my memory somehow. I don't pretend to understand it, but it happened, so I've been making the best of it. I don't remember anything that's happened, and it's so confusing, but oh well. Maybe I'll meet someone who can help me remember what's happened to me? I just want to meet some friends, though, I don't care if I never get my memory back.
I've actually been thinking about it. What if something so bad happened to me when I was younger that my mind locked it away, along with everything in my foalhood, so that I would never remember it ever? If it's something bad, I'm not sure that I want to remember it. I mean, if my mind locked it away for a reason, who am I to disagree with my own mind? It doesn't make much sense, in my opinion.
Or maybe I got hit in the head by something, and nothing really bad besides that happened? Then I want to remember. What were my parents like? I must have had some, because if I didn't, I wouldn't be here! Maybe I had brothers and sisters, too? I've never seen anyone that looks like I do, so I might not, but still. This world of ours is really really big, maybe I just haven't come across any of them yet?
I don't know, now I'm rambling, but that isn't too bad. Oh! I'll write later, I just spotted a bunch of pretty flowers over there!

I've been wandering around the valley of D'ob lately, though not many of the nequus here were keen to talk to me, though I don't know why. I did meet someone, however, that was wonderful. Her name is Nyx, and she was very, very nice. She's the first nequus I've really talked to that I can remember, and we got along great. We both think the same of meeting a tall, dark, handsome nequus to sweep us off our feet. Hee. She adores sunrises and sunsets, too.
It turns out she's the leader of a herd in D'ob, which is really cool. I've never seen a herd before. Err... At least, I don't think I have... But anyway, she said I could stay for as long as I wanted! Of course I accepted right away, I didn't have anywhere else to stay anyway. At least, I don't think I did... But anyway, she said I could go and explore and wander around if I wanted to, I could always come back. Which is nice, because exploring is so much fun, and it's be nice to know that I have a home to come back to and a really good friend to visit with. I'm glad I met such an awesome mare, and I hope she meets that special stallion she's been dreaming of since she was a foal.
I wish I could remember what I dreamed of when I was a foal...

I was wandering around the valley again today. It was another lovely mild day, and I was itching to explore more places with more varied weather, but for now I'm setting myself to explore D'ob so that I know where everything is and where everyone important is likely to be. I don't know why, but it feels like a good thing to do. Just in case of emergencies, though I don't know why there would be one, I know where to go and who to seek and where.
Anyway, while I was studying the valley today I spotted a lovely Jala stallion. He had such a long, pretty black mane and tail that shimmered whenever it moved and the light caught it. He seemed to be trying to decide on what he should do, and he told me his name is Aitumn. He turned out to be a restless soul, feeling the need to leave whatever land held him within two or three days of arriving there, even if he was more welcome than the locals. I don't understand why he's so restless, though. Doesn't he want a permanent home to come back to after exploring and traveling?
Oh well.
He told me he likes to tell stories and weave legends, though he either didn't have a story or didn't have time to tell me one, so he promised that when he saw me again he would tell me one. I can hardly wait! I do so love stories.

Oh, I had so much fun today! I went exploring for the first time since I started keeping my recent memories, and I went and found snow. It's so white and pretty and beautiful and goodness! It was wonderful. It was cold, too, but it was still lovely. I don't know what part of our world I went to, as I only know D'ob at the moment, but I hope to return there someday.
While I was exploring, I cantered up a hill and I found another nequus. Not just any nequus, but another Ichsa. He was the first of my kind I've seen yet, and I was thrilled with the prospect of meeting another. On closer inspection, I found he was hurt; an old hurt had flared up due to a long scratch on his leg, and it was bleeding a bit. I expressed my concern, but the poor thing was too nervous for me to ask more questions, and I didn't want to make him any more uncomfortable than he already was.
His name is Maurice, and he's a handsome blue with a neat marking on his shoulder, and he has a gorgeous seawater-filled pendant that hangs from a chain around his neck. He speaks with an accent, the first I've heard, and it was adorable. He seems really, really nice, if only he wasn't as nervous. He's set on going to the ocean, but he promised to come visit me in the summer. I hope he keeps his promise, but even more so I hope he regains his confidence.
