For all those that are Roleplaying with Nequus, this is a place you may fill out a form with a brief description of a Nequus that you Roleplay with. You do not have to fill out a form in order to RP, nor do you have to RP if you fill out a form. Its just simply a place to show off your Nequus' picture [maybe a familiar or two as well] and tell a little bit about it.
If you want to post in the thread, its open for posting at any time. Simply copy the coded form below and paste it into a new post. Then fill out the information and post it for everyone to see.

Personality: Storm is a very complex and ornate weavings of emotions. She can hold a kind word to you one moment and be tearing the flesh from your bones the next with a well trained hoof and maw. She can often times be lustful during the breedings seasons and believes everyone is out to get her, which may in fact be true. However, for those she does hold trust towards she would defend and protect if it meas her life. She is extremely quick to batter down any who dare threaten on of these 'companions'. Be wary of her for she will often display agressive behavior towards all she is not familiar with and often times delivers a sharp kick or bite to those who push her to far.

Other Interesting Facts: Storm is still young, though not a filly by any means. She has lived an adult life for quite some time now and knows the tricks of the trade. Storm herself is based off my real horse storm, a golden dapple palomino. Her personality is very much similar to the character Storm, though is some ways it is different and some ponts have been exagerated.

Other Interesting Facts: Vox, though he sometimes finds following complex conversations difficult, is fairly bright and very well-spoken. Manners are of great importance to him, and he will always bow his head upon meeting another in a gesture of respect. He appreciates the beauty of the Nequus as a race, but often finds himself lacking in that respect: this makes him uneasy around large groups, and unwilling to be compared to others of his kind. Other Interesting Facts: A quiet, kind Bae with a love for the artistic and a constant desire to help others, Jacques is often referred to by his friends as a saint. He very seldom utters an unkind word, never strikes out to harm another and would far rather that he suffered than that someone else did. Bringing food to foals and parents in the fruitlands of Shrilal is one of his more common winter activities, as food can be harder to find at this time: notably he tries to leave the gifts for them without being spotted. Other Interesting Facts: Many folk would find Melantho both stubborn and abrasive, so great is her desire to be unfettered and free. She will never take orders from someone she does not wholly respect and trust, and even then she is more likely to be a leader than a follower. Despite this, however, she has managed to make a lifelong friend in the Rit Aku: the two have connected over their similar colouring (and the problems associated with said colouring) and jokingly refer to each other as "wicked one" or "daemon". As far as other Nequus are concerned, Melantho is not immediately unpleasant and will be a loyal companion if the same courtesy is afforded to her. She is a grudgebearer, though, and if anyone speaks ill of her or her friends she will only rarely forgive it and never forget it. Her name comes from the Greek root word "melan" meaning "black", and can be found in use within Homer's Odyssey.

Personality: A laid-back and easy-going creature, Aku enjoys the company of Nequus as well as that of his own kind. He is often sought out as a source of wise, measured counsel, but he also enjoys childlike games and the simple pleasures of companionship.

Other Interesting Facts: Aku is well known for being a trustworthy and dependable creature. He spends the majority of his time either alone or with Nequus, as his own kind, while pleasant, seldom provide him with the stimulating conversation in which the horse-creatures engage him. Life troubles him very little, and his philosophies upon it do not involve dwelling upon misfortunes. A cheering presence and a loving soul, Aku is a dear friend to many and a listening ear to the world. His name means "evil", and is taken from the arch-villain of the same name in the animated series Samurai Jack.

Other Interesting Facts: While not stupid as such, Iona is far from the sharpest knife in the block. She is somewhat self-conscious about her intellectual and conversational ineptitude, and her somewhat gullible nature can - and often does - easily make her a victim for the unscrupulous. A lot of ill luck seems to follow her around, and despite her talent for running away she cannot seem to shake it off. By all accounts she verges upon asexual, having little interest in the vast majority of Nequus, though she has made something of an exception for at least one person in the past. She is named for a small island off the coast of Scotland, a glimpse of which can be seen in the background of her certified image.

Having suffered for her small stature and unusual preferences all her life, she has learned to regard others as untrustworthy and will only relinquish this opinion of another after a long and flawless record of good behaviour toward her.

Land typically found in: Fyhi tel Oren, almost exclusively so - she has a cave there to which she frequently retreats, particularly when it is cold. She feeds at the foot of the mountains in the vicinity of her tree, and almost never travels further afield.

Other Interesting Facts: Sharp as a steel knife and twice as cold, Libra is a mare with few friends and a host of enemies. Due to her unfortunate stature, all of said enemies are considerably larger than her. She does not let this put her off, however: if one of her many arguments descends from the shouting she prefers into physical fighting, she will throw herself into the fray with a fury born of fierce pride and fiercer hatred. Despite her intelligence, she has little interest in lengthy conversation and keeps mostly to herself. The one exception she has regularly made is for a shy, insecure Jala mare she has not seen in five years: the affection the two harboured for each another is one of a stack of reasons for Libra's status as an outcast. Her name is taken from the star sign of the scales, and from the word "equilibrium" - sadly she lacks the balance of either.

As Commandante of a large herd's militia, she suffers no fool, spares no lawbreaker and privately delights in her - not undeserved - fearsome reputation.

Coloration: "Goat" - pale palomino-like colouring with black hooves; white horn and wing-hooks; touches of white across the body, white socks and blaze; tan/rust brown wing-leather and rust-like markings over back, on legs and on tails (mane = long, tail = none)

Land typically found in: Wherever her duties take her. She has little interest in staying in one place after her work there is done, though between missions she will usually return to her tree for food and rest.

Other Interesting Facts: Clytaemnestra is, for want of a better description, a military mare. She has few to no qualms about killing, brutalising, terrorising and otherwise harming those she calls her enemies, but she is a fierce protector of those she calls her own. Valuing control and order, she rose through the ranks of her herd's army until she was second only to the herd master himself. As Commandante, she is in charge of the entirety of his forces and advises him on tactical decisions. Privately, she enjoys the company of mares as much as stallions - it is wise to note, however, that only those she can easily command will ever be permitted to become intimate with her. Her name comes from the Greek meaning "noble suitor". She is named for the wife of Agamemnon in Greek myth, who is noteworthy both for her strong will in an age of subservient women and for the fact that she murdered her husband: stallions take heed, this name is not given lightly!

Other Interesting Facts: For someone who saw her first massacre when she was only a few weeks old, Colleen is surprisingly normal to the casual observer. She laughs freely and often, and is willing to lend her aid to anyone who seems to need it. Among her great loves are waterfalls, dappled sunlight, stars, snow, falling leaves, flames and the colour red. The sight of blood, however, is enough to trigger the memories she cannot normally access: those of the slaughter of several Katilenuk herd members, witnessed during her childhood. The mention of tears will also cause this effect, and sometimes she will say, without cause, to a bewildered Jala, "You poor thing..." Seeing a Nequus hurt distresses her, and if ever she sees a Jala injured she will go berserk - the only thought in her mind is to destroy the cause of the hurt, living or otherwise. Other Interesting Facts: Mordre is one of the original seven Jala marked with the tears of the goddess, and as such is the last surviving founder of the Katilenuck herd. To most of his people, he appears as a tall grey colt adorned with amethyst, bone and brown feathers. He attained his powers of illusion shortly after growing to adulthood, and still cannot control them as well as he would like: he can often be heard to say, with unfeigned amusement, that it is a pity and a sin that such magics should be bestowed upon a brute like him. Unlike most of the Katilenuck, he has a healthy respect for the other breeds of Nequus - even the Reya, whom he hates, he will never dismiss as less powerful than himself. Less pure, yes, but not less powerful. He has seen too many overconfident Katilenuck die because they underestimated their adversary, and has lived long enough to know that he cannot trust his luck. Where his wits fail him, he says, so too will fortune...and, unfortunately, he is approximately correct. The word "mordre" is French for "to bite", which is somewhat appropriate given his biting wit, but it is intended to remind the listener of the spellword "morsmordre" - used in the Harry Potter series to summon the illusory mark of the Death Eaters.

Personality: A gentle and subservient soul, Mordrecai has devoted his life to serving Mordre the Illusionist. Hidalgo is a Spanish traditional title for a nobleman, derived from hijo de algo, "son of some (important family)". Mordre named him for a heroic figure in one of his myriad stories.

Personality: Udi is good natured and joyful. He is occasionaly made fun of for his lack of interest in the mares and more interest in the stallions. Even though he is teased he tends to ignore it and he lets things slide unless they get too out of hand. If he is pushed enough Udi will fight back. Many would say that he is too forgiving but this Jala is a bit different from the others but can still have a mean bite.
His coat is that of a purple hue and his tail an odd yellow-gold to match his eyes. He blends in quite well with his family and could not be happier anywhere else. Most of the time he can be found wandering about D'ob.
