Personality: Keres is wild and lawless, travelling wherever her hooves, wings and whims take her. She isn’t the smartest Nequus ever to live and is well aware of this fact, though it doesn’t trouble her. Her greatest love is speed and she will take any opportunity to engage in a race with the people she meets.

It’s tall, broad with loads of thick branches going up it. The bark is black and kinda craggy. Leaves come pretty late in the year and they’re a real dark green. Before them there are flowers; massive purple/pink ones all over the branches. They’re a bit waxy though but they smell real pretty. Early to mid spring they fall off and then the leaves grow in. In autumn the leaves all go a sorta brown black colour and hang on until around midwinter, when they fall. The it’s just a bare tree until spring again. I like it and I think lots of little animals do too; I sure see a lot of them around it.
Looks
I’m pretty big; tall and heavily built, massive hooves and all. Standard leather wings and curvy horn for a Reya, nothing too special there. My coat’s mainly black, that’s caused a bit of trouble for me but I like it still. My wings, mane (which is really short) and eyes are this bright purple/pink colour, makes me stand out from the crowd nicely. I’ve got marking in the same colour, too. Two bands above the knee on my forelegs and one above one below on my hind. Also, there are these weird upsidown cross shapes coming down from my eyes and one on my hindquarters too. I like them but I’m damned if I know where I got them from, nothing like either of my parents.
Still, that’s pretty much me. No big scars or anything; just a normal Reya girl if one who stands out a bit.
Personality
Well I’ve always been told I’m wild and I guess I agree. I do things my way no matter what anyone else says or does to try to stop me. I’m friendly to everyone and I guess I’d help out a stranger in need if I came across one. Probably wouldn’t stick my neck out too far for somebody I didn’t like though; I may be dumb but not that dumb.
Oh yea, there’s another thing; the dumbness. I’m pretty thick, always have been always will be and I’m ok with that. I guess I just worry about things less than other people, probably comes out of being dumb and if so I’m glad I’m not smart.
I get a bit competitive when it comes to racing and stuff but I wouldn’t come to blows over a race. I would if somebody was really pissing me off though; I don’t mind giving people who got it coming a good kick or a cut with my horn.
So yea, basically I friendly on the whole, pretty uncomplicated and I do things my way or not at all. Anybody who annoys me or tries to force me into stuff gets their arse kicked.

History
Pretty simple stuff; came out of my fruit a while after my two tree brothers. They’re called Kaz and Koran. My parents like K names I guess. Kaz was pretty much all black but with purplish streaks in his mane and purplish eyes, Koran had bands like mine going down his tails and legs, wings like mine too. We all got along real well, they were both a lot smarter than me (we used to joke that I musta hit my head coming down from the tree) but it didn’t matter. We loved the same games and I guess my parents felt like they had three colts rather than two and a filly.
Pretty soon my family moved away from the fruitlands back to their home near Casa Tiner. We kept growing up, playing in the safe places, not going too close to the mountains and that, it was a good foalhood.
It didn’t take me long to get restless though and, once I was an adult in my parents eyes I left to go explore the world. I’ve seen a lot already, a lot I like; people are cool on the whole and I like just being able to run all over the place without being tied to anyone. I go home sometimes to see my parents, run into my brothers either there or out in the crystal lands, they like it there.
So yea, a simple story for a simple girl. So far as I see it I’ve got my whole life ahead to make my story a bit more interesting and every day is a chance to do that.

DarkMoon - Err, well I don't actually know this guy too well which is sad as he's the father of my three children. Still, he seems a decent sort, he's looked after me well so he gets to go in here since I don't got anything against him.
Shore - Hee, I like Shore. He’s smart and funny and didn’t tease me for being dumb.
My girls - Rain, Runt and Adra; love them all to bits.

Curiosity is a fickle thing - Met a real nice girl called Kimama; she's looking for a mte but was thinking she wouldn't find him when I turned up. We talked for a while and I think I made both of us feel better about finding mister (or miss) right.
Consequences - Err... Yea, consequences. Tree shaped consequences. Oops.
Consequences pt2 - Well, I don’t care. I love them, they’re all so beautiful! Can’t pronounce Adra’s name right, but oh well. I’m glad I have them, they’re wonderful; can’t wait to teach them stuff!
Nothing, nothing at all - Today was fun, fell in the river a little bit but I met a cool Aeri called Shore. He was funny, and smart and we talked about loads of stuff. Hope I see him again sometime.
Opposites Repel - Stupid Aeri kicking my butt. He was too smart, too up himself and he went and elft before I could leave. Hope I never see him again.

I made a friend today. Her name's Kimama and she's a pretty little Bae girl; all white and gold. She was kinda nervous at first, which I understand; me coming towards you fast can't be very comforting. Anyways; we got to talking and she relaxed a bit, told me about looking for a mate and that.
We rambled about all sorts; crossbreeds, people not liking black coats too much right now, how looks don't matter and all kinds of other things. Bit of an arse stallion tried to bother us at one point but I ran him off no trouble; he'll think twice before harassing a lady again I think. Kimama that is, not me; I'm no lady.
Still, in the end we decided that the right person might well turn up at some point, that D'ob was a good place to look and that we ought to be friends. I know more or less where she lives so I can go visit her whenever I'm passing. Think I might make a note to do so more than I have before; I liked talking to her.

Well whoever he was he needed a beating. Proud as anything and acting like I was some kind of scum for being a Reya. I really wanted to kick his face in but, for some reason, I decided to be merciful. Still, attitude like that he probably won’t last very long, little b*****d. Of all the Nequus I’ve ever met I think I like him the least so far.
Still, the day improved after he was out of the picture; I raced the wind a bit more and then found a nice Jala to race with. He won, just, but he was a very gracious winner. Says he’s been at it for quite a while now and that I had potential. That was pleasing and he kinda restored my faith in the breed after that brindled git. Looking forward to running around D’ob for a while next.

Uh-oh.
I thought I was feeling strange, hungrier than normal and that. Didn't know where I was going, just that I had to get there soon. So I kept running and running and then I got to Shrilal and I saw the tree.
Me and that Ichsa I hardly even remember have a growing tree with three fruits on it.
I really wish I'd listened to my parent's warnings... partly. Partly I'm happy though. I'm going to be a mommy, a mama, a ma. I don't know that much stuff about the world yet but what I do know I can pass on now.
The father's a decent guy; he's sticking with me, getting me food and that. I can't believe it. Me and him and... Well they're a bit funny looking because they're mix-bloods but they still look beautiful to me.
I can't wait for them to hatch.

They’ve hatched! Three little girls! ...And I can’t pronounce Adra’s full name but nevermind! I know I’m young for this, I know I’m too dumb to teach them all the tuff I should but I’m sure Moon can take care of that stuff. Me? I’ll just do my best for them; I can teach them all to fly, and to fight if they want to. I might not be the best mama in the world but I’ll love them all, and that’s the most important bit in the end, right?

They’ve grown up so fast, my little girls. I’m so proud of them, all big and strong now. I think I’m going to go back to living like I did before now, to just going where I like because I want to and because I can. I’ll keep close to my girls, and I’ll keep in contact with Moon too I guess if I can, but it’s definitely back to roaming for me. It’s nice to be free again, I’ll admit I’m kinda sad to see them grow up and not need me so much anymore too but it is nice to be free again, and to still be a mama. Whatever other people might think about all this, I’m happy and that I did my best for my girls, and that’s all that matters.

Today I met a nice guy called Shore. I was racing myself, fell into the river and then there he was. he’s an Aeri, all purple and gold and cuddly. He was real nice to me, chatting about stuff and telling me jokes. We’re both wanderers, agreed that herds aren’t for everyone and went for a nap under the trees. I’d like to see him again, he was kind, and I feel like I don’t meet all that many kind people. I don’t know if it’s something about me that makes people snappy when the first meet me or what but Shore was nice, so it doesn’t matter.
Some of what we talked about got me thinking though (yea, scary stuff hu? Me thinking!) I realized that, well, I should probably go see my parents sometime and tell them that they’re grandparents. I’ve been putting it off, probably mostly because I don’t know what they think of crosses. Still, sometime I’ll go fine them and tell them and just hope that they love me enough not to mind what blood my kids have. I’m sure it’ll turn out fine.

Egh, stupid clever tough Aeri. I hurt, I was almost late for duty and I didn’t do well in drills today. Still, it was alright; the guys were actually pretty nice to me afterwards. Said they saw how hard I was trying, how good I usually was and wondered what was up. Told them I had a bit of a scrap on the border and lost, and they laughed and told me stories about the times they’d got beat up. We went and found ourselves some nice fruits to eat then, and we talked mare. I think they’re my friends now, I think they like me. Guess it took being good first to get me noticed, and then sucking one day to get their sympathy up.
So now I have friends, and it’s great. I never had any before, not because I was bad at making them but because I traveled so much. I’m going to enjoy having friends, being in one place, having a herd to be part of and fight for when it needs it. I’ll have to go see my parents soon, tell them all about this place. They won’t want to come here, I know, but they’ll want to know I have and I’m happy. Feels good to belong.
I still don’t like the Aeri guy though.
