Sleep is a Commodity - - A Event The Parking Lot Quote: The chipped, patched, and cracked asphalt of the parking lot greets your view. Minimal light is cast from the moon as it drifts slowly across the sky, the few working lot lights create pools of light but seem to throw the rest of the area into even more darkness. It’s quiet. Almost too quiet after the botched search of the business behind you. It won’t stay quiet for long …. Best run if you're smart. OOC Info: This is a true ORP, any character or player that wishes can participate in this thread, even those who have ‘shown up fashionably late’ if they want. Order or Chaos… go nuts <3 Just remember shop rules XD Time Length - Overall length should minimally be 4 days before the final post is posted and everyone can make exit posts. This IS the final rp, so it is your last chance to join in! Note - Until the Waiting Room is officially closed characters CAN choose to move back to that thread. ONCE that thread is closed though all characters/players should have moved to this thread or otherwise made final Event Exit posts ^_^ no one should be left in the building. FAQ- Can this concept/location be used in personal RPs? -- Yes, personally I would suggest setting it prior to the start of the event though XD. I will also be happy to rp with anyone with regards to this - Is it just 500 words per player or per character that would see entry into the participation raffle, and all in the same zone, or just throughout? -- 500 words per character, one ticket per player. This way you can use it for your own monthly token claim as well as the raffle since I will close these threads once they are completed. The word count does not have to be met in one zone, just throughout, to meet raffle requirements. - If people hit 500 words and jump threads and hit another 500 words, does that count as one req or two? -- Basically one thread per rp req, with an exit post in between, as long as the requirements are met, you can't just pop in and out of both of them simultaneously. So in simple terms, 'yes, each thread would count for a req but you must write an exit post from one before you can write an entrance post for the other'

Super Sailor DaphneDaphne had stayed in the staff rooms for as long as she could manage, mostly trying to make sure that there were no other youma or traps or agents hiding somewhere under the cover of smoke and flame. It seemed to be clear, though. She never did find any sandwiches, and if there were some, they were about to be melted by the flame. She pushed back through the other rooms and out the door to the parking lot before she ended up melting, too. The air was fresh, and crisp. This was the first time in a while that she found herself happy to be cool. She heard noises coming from inside the door, though. She did not think that she would be alone for long. She glanced over her shoulder for any others.

Captain BoraxAlbite could handle the fire and the crowd of senshi in the fire. He was probably delighting in it, or at least trying to get his Salazar's sandwich toasted--if that even was actually his sandwich. He, on the other hand, had a bit more value in his life and enough burn marks from things of actual power than this. Plus, he already had his name tightly linked with an operation that went up in flames. Augusta Bank was enough of a problem to not be linked to something else that was a problem. On one hand, he had an arguably better position at his original bank back. On the other hand, he had been a CEO, and now he wasn't. Let someone else suffer the consequences, he would just clean up the scraps of the white-uniformed types that made it outside. He smirked. Actually, could be a good bit of vengeance. As he teleported outside, he took a quick scan of who he could see out there already, spinning his spear as he evaluated what would be his best approach. Wait... was that a catgirl? She had the tail, at least. ... Great, more ******** aliens.

Corrupted Eternal Adonis, Senshi of Skin"Yeah, whatever," Adonis muttered to the chatter going off over the comms. He sat in the passenger seat of a car he didn't own, seat back, feet up on the dash. He was hoping to catch some shut-eye on the mission, but evidently, the hulking oaf on the inside couldn't handle a few senshi coming to visit him. Too bad — Adonis didn't know why he couldn't just defenestrate them all and successfully defend the operation all on his own.
Now, as they started to come outside, they were Adonis's problem. Since they were coming outside, that likely meant they figured out the scheme enough to be dangerous to it if they kept the damn thing up, even if they moved buildings and rebranded and used a different preface to the op. So, unless Adonis and — he'd actually never met that other dude (Borax) over there — unless they both killed everyone on site, which was a tall order, the Negaverse was gonna be hurting from this.
Oh well. Wasn't his name in the supervisory role, here, so he didn't think he'd take any more heat for it if he couldn't stop 350 stampeding senshi. With a sigh, he straightened up in his seat, opened the door, and let himself out into the crisp evening.
"Ey, you!" He called to Borax. "Do me a favor? Block all the emergency exits so we can set the damn place on fire with all the senshi in it. They can't teleport, and it destroys any incriminating evidence that we probably stupidly kept on site.
"Then we've got this lil' catgirl (Daphne) to murder or sell to the underworld, and job's wrapped. Whaddaya say?" He spread his arms open as if it was a hearty invite.

Captain BoraxEy, you!Who the--? was the first thought that ran through his head as he turned around to look at who was calling him. A corrupt eternal senshi, by the looks and the feels of him, decked out in... was that flesh? He didn't quite understand the outfits of senshi, but then, he was strutting around in Grecian military formalwear, so he wasn't sure he had the right to talk. More clothed than Albite, at least. He moved a bit closer, keeping his eyes on the catgirl as he did. The idea was a good one, in any case. For one, this place was clearly going down anyway, so they might as well try to take advantage of it. For prestige, for power, to get these people to ******** off -- whichever one it was. For another, it gave them something to do instead of just waiting for these people to come out there like ants getting smoked out of an anthill. "Sounds good to me." He glanced around, spotting the first useful object to get one of the exits blocked. A few pallets. It wasn't too hard to use those as blockades until he could drag the dumpster over. " Selling to the underworld could have some use, considering," well, the obvious fact that she wasn't a human. He left that thought as he moved to start shifting those pallets over and then shoving the dumpster. ... which felt disgusting, but at least getting clean would be as easy as slipping away for a moment and reappearing. stari_maga daphne mention! (sorry for posting again so quickly, I'll be busy for a lot of the day so I just wanted to get him set haha)

Captain StrengiteThe pale haired captain stood there in the shadows fuming. Absolutely fuming! Her red tipped hair, that she had kept died just the right shade of red, was really accurate to her current anger. How. Dare. They! How dare they ruin her perfectly good plan! It was perfect! It was the best ever! She had gotten everything planned out even down to the crappy little plastic things that they were going to sell to the unsuspecting public but some how those freaking butt bows figured it out! It was finally starting to pay off too! Yeah the energy gained was split for everyone working for their quota, and the profits were pretty much for the 'office' as well but it was finally getting into the black. No additional capital was needed and it was running perfectly. Soon it would be making money hand over fist and she wasn't going to have to babysit it anymore either. So why!?????!?!??! Why did the little goodie goodies show up! "You bastards!" She growled even as she stepped out of the shadows. They broke her pretty windows! They trashed her nice store! They... they... They sucked! ((Strengite is free for interactions but she is big mad XD just fair warning))

He'd seen the smoke starting to rise and knew it would be time for the cleanup. Sending off a message to Benitoite, he knew they had a connection to the agent who had owned the store and would be invested in aiding with this. Making his way in, he watched the broken doors and windows as people filtered out through them. Taking a position further back from the others, he had his bow at the ready for when things would inevitably turn into a fight. He would watch closely and see if there were any senshi or knights he recognized for the whole bank event. Staying back this time would hopefully keep him out of range of any more large-scale magic like last time. It was rather annoying that this seemed to keep happening to all the businesses that were popping up and he worried it would happen to things his sister was planning as well. General BenitoiteThe ashen blond general had missed most of what was going on, stuck in civilian form and busy witgh things he couldn't just jump out of, he hadn't gotten the message of things going on till he had powered up. That was when he'd gotten the call from Chalcanthite and without much thought he'd teleported to the scene of things.
Arriving was rather easy, not as disorienting as it had been when he'd first learned to teleport, and he cast a look back to the long haired General. "Care to update me on things?" He questioned even while wondering if there was anyone he could summon here. He didn't even know who was here exactly. But his thoughts did drift to a particular corrupt senshi he'd seen a few times. She tended to hang around Wolframite, perhaps part of the others team, but she seemed rather reserved and likely lacked in experience. That in mind, and knowing she was already super in level, he figured she could use the experience and they could use the magic...whatever it might be. So he focused onthe pink haired corrupt senshi of brains in order to bring her here as well. He just hoped she wouldn't be upset with the suddon summon from him. Super Corrupt Valeria. She might not participate in fights, or battles, much but Valeria did go out and gather energy without fail. She had her duties to fulfill and she did just that. Though she was planning on contacting Wolframite soon, school would be over soon for her, in order to train with him. She had asked the other to take her on, she knew she needed hlp and someone to mentor her, she needed a connection to things. It was by luck, perhaps, that she was out and gathering energy when she was summoned.
The parking lot wasn't full of people but she could sense a whole lot of people and standing at the small Generals side, she took a moment to look him over, she knew him but not very well. "What's going on?" Looking to the two Generals as she spoke, questgioning pink eyes moving from one to the other. She knew something big was going on but just what she wasn't sure, did she even need to know though? She knew it was a battle of some sort and soon she'd be apart of it, wasn't that all she needed to know?
Cursing softly to herself as she turned back towards the mall. What was going on at the mall which was giving way to some sort of big fight? (Both are i nthe parking lot with Chalcanthite.)

Grieve of the CollapseAction: jumping up to the roofSmoke billowed out of the destroyed doorway, and in it, a long thin silhouette emerged with the confident stroll of a fighter, fresh off a bloody victory. (It should be said that this was how Grieve generally exited buildings.) There were...way to many ******** up chaos auras waiting, and way too few belonging to the natural order of power. Including an eternal. A couple of the chaos agents seemed at that level as well, but Grieve rarely minded those who mainly wielded weapons. Her magic was made for killing those who relied on weapons. Magic, however, needed a different set of skills to deal with. Namely, the strength to overwhelm. And mental endurance for the torturers among senshi, but that was easy. Just keep ******** going. But pure strength couldn't be faked, and she was at her weakest since childhood. Only experience and knowledge could offset the gap, but it wasn't even close to good odds depending on an Eternal's magic. There was another from ancient space there, but...she wasn't a comrade. Instead of trying to team up with an unknown ally, better to limit the potential opponents instead. Jumping up to the roof of a burning building was far from the stupidest thing Grieve had ever done, and maybe the smoke billowing out of it would work in her favor.

How Tama knew about the sleep clinic and the fact that the operation was a bust was a secret he wasn’t telling, but it was probably that those little crystals had something to do with Mauvian technology. They had exploded. That he knew. When a Mau puts tech in a device — especially one that is set to explode — you could bet at least one cat was monitoring that show closely. Was it him? Not likely. He tended not to create things that exploded. That kind of wanton destruction was just not his style. But he knew Mauvians that would certainly rig such a light show. So, you could say that it was through another Mauvian that he had learned of what was doing down at At Ease. Still, Tama wasn’t giving up his sources. “Well, it looks like just Negaverse here. And a cat girl.”Tama sauntered over to the only other member of the team he saw — Borax, the one who had given him the loan — and one he didn’t know. The last time they had seen each other was inside another a Negaverse operation that had similarly been burned to the ground. “It looks like our White Moon friends did a number on the place already. What is it with Order and destroying perfectly good real estate?”☆

Action: Eying his possible ride home at the end of the night! Attacking:----Zultanite came through the exit like a limping dog kicked through a front gate, winded, woozy, catching black lung much to his own distaste. If everything was bleary he could blame the soot, stripped his own stupid gloves free and pocketed them within his gold buttoned coat, cause if he rubbed cinnamon dust in his own eyes and ended up in the hospital for that now? He didn't need to be that kind of laughing stock--not with the overwhelming flair and flourish of Auras waiting like hyenas on the other side of the billowing outpour of the building behind him going up in flames---- Allied auras all lined up in the worlds most beautifully assembled ambush. Standing there like a clearly drawn fire line, begging for the chance to be breached. For all that Zultanite had scowled the entire night through, he felt it lessen at the sight of them, he almost even smiled as he made a break for that line before he got himself stupidly caught in whatever cross fire was about to be coming the blazing store's direction. It just so happened that one of those Auras, he knew, recognized, especially as he heard that familiar drawl flash over the coms. The surprise more than the mans presence, was the presence of the Eternal wings adorning his assets; the eerie sight of them through bleary blinks-- It was the flesh peddler Senshi who'd saved him from 'Nessie' of the reservoir, what, was that a year ago now? Almost two? It was hard to keep count of summers sometimes especially the half drowned sunbaked ones where hew as a very embarrassed victim of a seaweed monster. .:Corrupt Basic of Supplication Mirabilite:. Action: I am beauty, I am grace, there's ******** asphalt in my face! Attacking: ---- Undignified as an albatross that'd flown leagues only to crash into the side of the cliffs that lined his nesting ground. Mirabilite had expected to be *carried* out, teleported home! Not tossed unceremoniously like a sack of potato's onto he back of a truck!! He was livid, but alive, and as the sound of running, screaming, melting structure supports buckling behind him intensified--- He could still be pissed at Albite! But he could have an emotion and scrape himself up off the black cracked parking lot at the same time; could ignore the way it bit at his palms and cheek, how the thing'd probably looked long abandoned and disused even before their agency had taken up in making the place into a legitimate business offering out it's aidful services. If it'd seen a repaving in the last twenty years.... Regardless -- he just needed to dig his heels in, and find his feet, and make a staggered, exhaustive break towards the beachline of agents so high above his own stature that trying to imagine how they got there felt daunting. The only thing that stalled him out, ever so slightly, was when he looked back and caught the most menacing image --- The visage of yellow, blue, neon bathed in smoke tall and imposing and he could feel still the strength in her hands and the way ever bright sound off her lips had been a threat against the strands that made up his very DNA. He was unashamed to admit to himself that she looked amazing, and he hoped beyond hope that the roof collapsed and swallowed her back up into the fires growing beneath its encapsulation. He was sure she'd survive even that, especially that, even.

There were a lot of agents here. Several of them were referring to her as a catgirl, and they were doing it in the third person, as if she wasn't even there. Her tail bristled up behind her, hearing it. It wasn't that they were wrong. She was a girl. She had the tail and the feline eyes and the spots on her skin that all of her people had. Still, the way that they were talking about it felt objectifying. It felt infantalizing. (She might have been learning some new words on TikTok.) It felt threatening, especially because more and more of them were appearing between her and the path home. The others were still inside. It didn't feel like a battle. It felt like a hunt. The last time a mob of people had been looking at her this hungrily, it had been when the people of her world had chased her deep into the savanna, only these ones wanted to sell her. At least this time she knew there was backup coming, if they could make it. The senshi, with the awful clothes. He was the one with the ideas. If she could distract him- Deep Kinship, she thought, and reached an arm out to him. "Don't. Don't hurt me," she said, fluttering her eyelashes and tucking her tail between her legs, although acting like that made her want to throw up. In about five seconds, she was going to kick all of their faces in.

Corrupt Eternal Adonis, Senshi of SkinBlocking a door, schmoozing, looking to get Zultanite some medical assistanceGreat, the Captain (Borax) was on board. Adonis wasn't sure how he'd be talking his way out of it if Pom-Pom-Shoes was one of those new hires with a conscience. Plus, he thought the whole underworld sale was a good idea. Real stand-up guy, sounded like.
Of course, there was another Captain (Strengite) who was pissed to high heavens, no doubt because the White Moon did what the White Moon did and ******** up her whole entire operation. Adonis could sympathize, if he was up for sympathizing. Unfortunately, they had a more immediate problem where their enemies were inside and they were outside and the Big Guy (Albite) that was supposed to be in the staff room could teleport once he smelled smoke, so like, they needed to stop dawdling and start blocking up the damn place before too much of the White Moon got back out. Pom-Pom was already getting to it, so it was Adonis who had to step it up.
Felt good to have a General on board, too, so once Chalcanthite dropped in, Adonis teleported, then reappeared with a folding chair in hand. He propped it beneath a knob. Felt like there were plenty inside or whatever, so a nice, easy senshi barbecue would do them all some good.
Satisfied with his contribution, Adonis turned to address the talking Mauvian (Tama). And found that another Super (Valeria) and General (Benitoite) had arrived! He gave them a winning smile and wave. "I'unno, but if we make their problem-solving style of choice into their problem, they're gonna have a hard time makin' it out."
Oh, but there he was, yakking away, when a Lieutenant (Zultanite) dragged himself through death's door all dramatic-like, and that was — yeah, he actually knew this dude. Had that kid with him at the beach when that thing in the water was on a drowning spree. "Hey," he called, "lookin' ready to die in a different way today, eh? C'mon, I've got, ehhh, some first aid s**t stuck in my subspace somewhere. Unless someone can heal?" He called to the amassing crowd of Negaverse.
Everybody loved a good burning building collapse. Especially when there were White Mooners trapped inside.Quote: Adonis is calling for a healer! sleet tempest snape valeria and benitoite -- waving
