Fav. Food: Ethiopian and Indian cuisine, anything with spice and vegetables. Loves Cardamom, fennel, and ground mustard seed in dishes. Coconut milk makes everything taste better.
Hated Food: Anything that smells like soap or tastes like artificial. Lavendar, cilantro, etc. Those coffee creamers that smell like the conditioner you want to eat? Those things.
Occupation: Currently Triton works at one of the larger casinos in DC as a Debt Settlement Negotiator. Previously he was a Bail Bondsman, who prided himself on handling his own 'collections'. He's found that as he's gotten older, working for a secure company is equally as lucrative as his prior job was, while also being far less dangerous. The hours are better too. The only downside is that he's no longer his own boss. Upside? A lot of the work can be done from his home office.
History: Triton comes from a family that drifted in various directions. His eldest sister emancipated herself at sixteen, he went to live with his mother after his parents split. Didn't keep track of any half siblings that popped into the picture afterwards.
Only recently has he found himself re-acquainted with any sort of bloodline. After moving back into the city proper, having spent his years after high school traveling around and honing job skills, all while finding his professional pathway in life. Returning only now, because the work was good and he wanted something a little slower paced. He came across the name in one of those local ads - back of paper type deals - little local news flics that went up and advertised children currently up for adoption. Stated their hobbies, and likes, and status.
It was the eyes that got him, and then the name, and then --- Triton had never particularly wanted 'children' -- yet seeing Coady on screen, little head shot like he was auditioning for something. Never had Triton so quickly picked up a phone and made inquiries in his life. Worked connections like he was hunting down someone who had ditched town and owed him money...
Now he's got himself a thirteen year old nephew under his guardianship. Hell of a thing, but whatever. He's learning to make it work for the better.
Hobbies:
Attending Social Gatherings: Once upon a time Triton could party hard with the rest of them, and he's not ancient yet, but he prefers to keep all his more extraneous vices in the safe realm of 'social only'. He'll enjoy a thing, in brief moderation. Try new drinks, be a connoisseur of them even, but only so long as it's during outings with others, and never with the intent of getting 'wasted'. He looks for new experiences more often. A group advertising for an escape room adventure? Sure, why not. A bunch of people getting together for a book club at a habidashary? Yeah. His boss doing the whole 'Turned 40 and painting horses while drinking wine at a vinyard bash?' Absolutely, he's in on it.
Odds N' Ends collecting: He has a trunk full of bits n bobs he's collected from his traveling, that he adds to on the daily. Seaglass bottles from the beach, hub caps from a desert, a pair of rocks shaped like obsidian arrows, chips of a petrified tree from a national park. Triton will be walking along, and maybe a particularly bright button will catch his attention - or an oddly colored bottle cap - or a paperclip bent into the shape a duck stuck between a towel rack in a hotel he's staying at. Lotsa weird little things that don't quite go together, but he finds them fascinating nonetheless.
Virtues:
Tenacious: If there’s a time to cut bait and run. Triton doesn’t know it. For better or for worse. It’d be rather detrimental to his lively hood if he gave up at the first hint of trouble. He tends to hold fast and tight to things. It’s rare that he would give up before meeting his end goal, in anything. To continue to make attempts, even if it makes him seem stubborn.
Brazen: Bold, shameless, and he knows himself well. He carries himself with the kind of energy that exudes both power and confidence. Has found it necessary when he is often comparable to a tall bag of bones wrapped in flesh. Triton has adopted a look that says ‘I’ve seen s**t’ and a scowl that screams ‘do you really want to know?’ Who will say exactly what he means to, bluntly, plainly, and without a single hint that the act of being so open bothers him in the slightest.
Flaws:
Egocentric: Nearly all of his life he’s come first in all things. A habit born of necessity. It’s left him little room to entertain the needs and wants of others outside himself. Even when it seems he’s reached outside himself to sacrifice or show true care for others - it usually all loops back into having something to do with him directly.
Risky Businesses: Being aware of the risks, taking them into consideration, knowing that they exist in every venue? It is maybe due in part to the fact that he does prepare for the unknown, that he is also so willing to take it up head on. Nothing ventured is nothing gained, and there’s only so much care that can be taken with any given situation. The amount of times this has gotten him into trouble in the past, and still gets him into trouble when he inevitably rolls the dice on a decision where there’s little to no room for his usual pragmatism.

He's ever grateful for the gloves, because he's ******** allergic to it. He takes extra special care when using it against his enemies. Sprinkles it over their late', shoves it up a nostril. Rubs it into someone's eyes.... Captain Weapon: Ceremonial Cinnamon Swords One a long yet dull blade, the other a short, thick, sword-shaped cinnamon stick with an edge. While the swords may look impressive they are ceremonial in nature; decorative and intended for show. The tip may be sharp, but the edges aren't. With enough pressure and force behind a blow one could do some damage. The swords are coated in a fine layer of cinnamon sugar dust that explodes outwards when the blades are unsheathed. Misting the air in an irritating ark - 5ft around, that lasts for 10 seconds. If it get's on the opponent it can cause mild irritation, itchiness, watering eyes, and a coughing fit. Think the sorts of brief effects from inhaling a bunch of cinnamon-sugar. General Weapon: Pair of Blades One to stab cleanly, the other to hack and parry. Triton carries a long Sabre with a curved bone handle, and a short Garab Blade. When he unsheaths his weapons, they release a thick visible cloud of irritating, yet glittery, cinnamon sugar. Anyone within 5ft suffers for 10 seconds; the effects are akin to having an allergic reaction.
