Upgrade Requirements and Requests: Templates
This thread is for tracking any growths done by our template artists! Nearly every single piece of art received from the shops will be done on templates, so this is the thread you will use when you are ready to grow them.
If you are ready for a character to grow, you will need to post here; this is required even if you have already received the art because you may have ordered all of your art upfront. This is just so that we can make sure that we know who grew, and when!
After you have posted here you will still need to reach out to the artist you would like to complete this stage of your character's growth if you haven't done so already. Remember, you may choose your artist per stage; while you might choose to stay with the artist who did the original first stage art, you may also elect to move to a different artist of your choice. If there is an artist you want to request to do your art, you will need to contact them to determine interest and availability; if they accept, you can update your post to reflect which artist you have chosen!
Alternately, if you do not have an artist in mind, you may instead opt for a “grab bag” roulette; this means, if you do not have a preferred artist, any interested artist will be able to express interest in doing the art and the slot will then be raffled off amongst interested artists. There is no telling who you might get if you choose this option, but if you are opting for the grab bag style please remember to quote the shop mule, In the Name of the Mule, when you post for growth and indicate that you want a grab bag. If you do not quote the mule we will not be aware and it may take longer to get to you than it should!
Remember, this thread is for templated art only; if your character is growing using unique art or is growing through an MYO (Make Your Own) slot, you will need to use this thread!

Please Note: Sometimes an artist's commitments outside of Gaia can can get in the way and they may be unable to finish art as quickly as you would like; all of our artists should make an effort to warn you about any delays that they may expect to encounter if you are at the tail end of a long waiting line. Please keep this in mind when requesting art and be patient should this situation arise!
If you have a templated character that you would like to grow using MYO instead of the standard template you are eligible for, you can swap your templated art for MYO instead. Please remember that if you do this, you forfeit your templated art of that stage. You do not have to pay to switch from templates to MYO for any stage. If you get templated art of a first stage character and move to MYO for their second stage, you are not locked into growing them as an MYO; you can still get their third stage art on a template. If you are moving from templates to MYO for a stage, please make sure to include this when you post your growth form. You will need to post in the Unique Art Upgrade Thread instead of the templated upgrade thread.
We understand that it can be frustrating to wait for the next stage of art, so if there comes a time when you need to request that a new artist takes over this work, please PM the shop mule, In the Name of the Mule, and we can help work something out! Similarly, if you are having other issues (either with understanding the rules, working with your artist, or anything else) you may PM the mule!
If you are having difficulties locating an artist or do not have a preference for which artist takes over your work, you may use the Grab bag! To use the grab bag, you will need to not only fill out the previous form, but you will also need to fill out an additional form with information for artists picking things up from the Grab Bag.

I understand that this is not a guaranteed method and can sometimes take longer than expected due to the nature of them. Once an artist picks up my artwork, they will contact me to let me know that they will be doing my art. I also agree that any available artist, or combination of artists, may work together to complete my art; if I post for a grab bag, I will be prepared for the possibility of a collaboration.
