Iriyana is one in a set of twins born to Eirlys and Huyana. She and her brother were a surprise to their parents but a welcome one. They were born in an Inn located in Sauti. Luckily the Inn belonged to a business partner and friend of their father's.
Since their birth they have lived there and were quick to make good friends with the Inn owner's son, Li. Iriyana was always in trouble for breaking the rules and has even ended up being grounded a few times. Now that the twins are a little older things have barely changed. Riya, as she likes to be called, isn't quite as rash but she dos let her temper get the better of her. This resulted in her breaking up with the one boyfriend she had by beating his face in for talking bad about her brother and her best friend.
