What are Doppelbreedings
Doppelgänger As according to Wikipedia. "A doppelgänger (Literally meaning "Double-goer" ) Is a look-alike or double of a living person. , sometimes portrayed as a ghostly or paranormal phenomenon and usually seen as a harbinger of bad luck. Other traditions and stories equate a doppelgänger with an evil twin. In Modern times, the term Twin Stranger Is occasionaly used. The word Doppelganger" is often used in a more general and neutral sense, and in slang, to describe a person who physically or behaviorally resembles another person."
In that sense, in Soquili, A Doppelbreeding is when you breed two soquili outside of the Canon of the actual RP Universe, making it either: 1) One parent bred with a look-alike with a similar genetic background of the other and kept both kids. 2) they Both bred with look-alikes with a similar genetic background and got kids, and the children are raised separately.
or
3) Neither parent breeds, but instead two Doppelgangers meet up and breed, resulting in children 100% apart from the existing soquili.
The Doppelgangers can be either: A) Exact doppelgangers of the parent(s) B) Look completely different than the actual Non-canon parent(s), but have similar genetic backgrounds and a blend of traits that, when bred together, result in kids that look would look similar (This one has actually happened with Two NON-Doppelganger breedings! On the owners list, look up ponies with Parents Lelani x Allegro then look up ponies with parents Melody Forte x Mecho Amachi. The parents look nothing alike, the children look like they could be related)
Regardless, doppelganger breedings allow people to have breedings that would not canonically happen for the soquili involved, and rather than call it a spirit breeding and have the kids magically just appear, you wish to RP them as having parents, just not the parents that got entered into a raffle to pair them. Its pretty much a Crackship!
The following contest is giving away a Flutter Cerygryph who canonly have parents who are not the ones we actually bred to get them, as their parents do not exist as actual soquili one can breed (style three).

Ceannaiche stad Village
Deep in the mountains there are a series of three valleys. In the South Western valley was a rather standoffish group of ponies with flutter heritage in the Brughadair Kingdom, too the North Eastern Valley, A large territory of Pixie live in the mounds and caves, shying away from strangers and mining glowing rocks for trade with those they trust, And then the South Eastern Valley there is a valley kingdom of the Flutter-winged, living their lives in miniature in the Secluded and rather hidden kingdom of Aos Sí.
Not far from the mountain pass where the Three Kingdom's meet, is a trading village, not hidden away like the rest of the kingdom, but boldly out in the open and proud of their existence, acting as the face of the kingdom. It's a bit of a touristy destination for members of the kingdom, and some seasons it's a bit of a ghost town, but the villagers who live there full time are friendly sort, living as equals among their familiar friends, running businesses and generally existing like a Ye olde fashioned village, dug into a rocky outcropping and built into the grand trees that stand rooted to these rocks for centuries, and tending the orchards.
For non-flutters or smaller familiars, it's a quaint view, but not much to do save for a little stable owned by a Raccoon for rest. But for Flutters, mice, squirrels, and other small land mobile familiars, its its a comfortable place to rest, shop, and explore.
And here, Three Flutters of cerynei and hippogryph heritage, unaware of the fact that their parents have doppelgangers in the greater land beyond their village, have jobs in the village. While all three are established members of the Village, currently one of the trio is a mystery. Care to solve it?
Names and Naming Ceremonies Foals do not have an official name until their canon first birthday, often being called a variety of nicknames or the name a parent hopes will stick. Once they reach their first birthday, not only do the parents understand their child's personality better, but the child is old enough to consent to the name given to them and can choose their favorite name out of what is offered or go by an adaptation of the pet name they had gone by before then. For example, a child often called "Honey" might end up being named Mitsu (honey).
Once they reach adulthood, a second Naming Ceremony takes place on their third birthday, and then they can opt to change their name, or take on a second, official name.
Sometimes, a member of the Aos Si might choose to add another official name in an official ceremony as part of a lifemating ceremony, often adding their mates name or family name to the middle of theirs.
Additionally, titles can often be added on as well for feats, skills, and abilities.
Gender While it does depend on the individual families (thus resulting in clashes sometimes from families who originated outside of the lands and thus disagree with tradition), traditionally foals are raised without gender roles, often being called Sprites, and gender neutral pronouns used as an overall whole until a child insists on a particular pronoun. At which point, unless or until they identify otherwise, they will be referred to by their preferred pronouns and descriptors.
There are no set gender roles within the Kingdom, and titles are not given by the sex of the individual, but rather the job or rank they have taken, though sometimes by their gender identity.
Your Flutters In-Canon parents
Living deep in the Aos Si kingdom, the girls biological parents are Caydren, a Male Flutter cerynei who's a bit of a Narcissist, though good natured in general. He has no real drive to get things done, except for flirt with pretty ladies and swapping stories and learning all the latest gossip. Their mother, Ashlyn, is a hippoflutter mare who is locally known for being a bit of a job hopper. She'll be intensely passionate about one profession for a few months, sometimes even as long as a year, before her interests shift and she's devoting herself to another project or craft. Still, her infectious enthusiasm for each new pursuit makes others happy to work with her for however long she sticks around. She's currently deep in the Aos Si Kingdom.
The two are not a full time couple, but are friends with benefits, a common arrangement for members of the Aos Si kingdom.
They don't have any idea they have doppelgangers outside of the kingdom.

Best known for it's high quality but simple looking baked goods, though displays and serves some of the decorative cakes from Ceann Turas Inn's baker, Keeva.
Need honey? Torri's got you covered! She keeps an increasing number of hives ("How many? As many as I can handle!" ) and jars their excess honey. She mostly barters or gifts these away privately to people she's acquainted with, like her sister Quinley, but she will occasionally set up stalls for a wider audience to sample her wares. She's been experimenting with mead recipes, but hasn't gotten it quite right yet.
Quinley, Tori and X_YOURFLUTTERSNAMEHERE_X wanted to move out to where they could get trade with other flutters, mice etc not part of the kingdom and work to an ever changing market rather than just the same few regulars, leaving their parents behind and setting out for Ceannaiche Stad village.

The painting was beautiful maybe the best one she had done yet. She loved how the blue, grays and greens of the village blended into the background. It made the village look really beautiful. She shakes her head as she heads out for the morning. She had been asked to do an commission painting for one of other shop owners. In exchange the bakery would give her more work if they liked it. She walks out of her studio and watches others around her village.
Spotting her favorite baker. She walks up to her and offers her an small wooden flower. " Hello Gina, I thought this small gift would cheer you up." She watches as Gina takes it. After all they were friends maybe. She smiles at the other mare and walks to Gina's bakery. She gets a loaf of bread and heads back to her shop.
Entering her shop she looks around and thinks of what she wants for future. She really wanted to be well known. She wouldn't mind learning different arts, like pottery, bag making and bead working. She did love to paint and draw. But doing other forms would not be bad. She wanted fame and she was willing to learn to get it.

Ever since she was little she has been collecting things from books, to trinkets to little animals that her mother wouldn't let her keep. Meru is also a bibliophile and she loves to read about far off places from the local bookstore about adventures and romances. But her favorite books are the ones about exotic creatures from outside of her idealistic home. She was used to the smaller familiars from her village, the mice and birds that normally stay and the somewhat larger creatures like rabbits and foxes, but what would it be like to run into a bear or a cougar? What about a dolphin? What about the larger Soquili that can't shrink into their smaller forms but tower above like giants. The outside world has always fascinated her, though she has never been brave enough to travel outside of her comfortable village.

Meru Owns a little candy store located next to the book store called 'Meru's Menagerie' where she makes colored sweets in the shapes of animals for the little foals of the village. She learned the skill from a book on making candies often making butterflies and frogs, also venturing into flowers and other flora. She also makes and collects glass figurines as a hobby from some of the local traveling merchants, depicting animals from all over the lands. She has a little display that she keeps in the store where she shows off her newest aquistions often having mini lectures for the ponies that are interested enough to ask what it is.
What are their goals, hopes, and dreams?
She one day dreams that she will be able to leave her village and see some of the bigger animals and read some of the bigger books. She also hopes that one day she caould possibly keep a small real life menagerie of animals that she has collected from around the world. But for today she is happy collecting her glass trinkets and selling candy to the children.

After a second of staring trying to figure out what she was looking at she was surprised when she saw the silhouette of a white horse. She distracted herself again with trying to discern whether the pretty creature was mare or stallion and then with thoughts of food. She didn't realize that her gaze had unfocused and she was inadvertently staring. Doing chores was difficult.

Winema stretched languidly, her body stretching out long across the forest floor. Rolling over onto her paws she stretched again her tail flicking. Looking down at the sleeping male lynx she smirked as she sat to groom herself for her duties. As she was cleaning her face the cat beside her yawned though he stayed laid out on his side looking up at her lazily looking smug. "Hmm where are you going?" His deep voice tickled Winema's fancy reminding her why she went off with the lone male in the first place. Not that it was hard to forget when the handsome male was looking at her like he was tempted to... persuade her to stay.
"I am going back to my pride." Winema stated calmly scratching her shoulder as she stood and started on her way. The male wrapped a paw around her back leg gently pausing her movements. She looked back at him with a raised brow. "is there any way I can convince you to... stay for a little longer?"
Winema pretended to think for a moment as she pulled her foot out of his grip. "Mmm no. I have duties to attend to. Though I may be back this way... Eventually. Thanks for the night stud. I had a great time." Winema ran her tail under his chin before she jumped up onto a boulder, leaving the male behind.
Winema walked back to the Pride, enjoying the morning sunlight filtering through the canopy of the woods. She stopped for a moment taking in her surroundings realizing that she was at least an hour away from the edge of SunPride territory. Sighing she kicked up to a light trot hoping to make it to her post before someone realized that she was gone though she was sure that her absence was probably already being questioned. She had left shortly after receiving her new apprentice. She had left in the middle of the night just after the other guards went to sleep. Slipping out of the camp she had decided to go exploring. That was when she had met her night beau and spent the night with him. And what a night it was. Climbing a tree to reach a ledge she spent her time walking just reminiscing about the night before. Eventually she made it back to the camp and she didn't even bother with eating having missed her opportunity, instead just climbing her favorite guard pillar and settling in to keep guard until it was time for her to be relieved.

Gilly is kind, bubbly, and carries herself with a quiet grace. She's charitable and shares whatever she has with others, be it food, money, or whatever they need, without a second thought. It doesn't make sense to withhold what one has in abundance from those who are in need of it. Gilly believes that she should have enough to get by, not live in excess, and shares her extra wealth in whatever way she can with those that need it. She's definitely the type to cross paths with someone in an open market and genuinely interact with them, asking about their family, how things have been for them, if anything new has come up. There's been more than one occasion where Gilly has lost track of time and spent most of her morning or afternoon chatting away with a close friend. This mare has always been a social butterfly. With Orchard so close to source ingredients from, Gilly spends a fair amount of time preparing fruit spreads during their respective harvest seasons. If she's feeling particularly ambitious and the fruit crop is plentiful, Gilly even likes to prepare Pâte de Fruit as a special treat to share with her sisters, friends, and acquaintances. The particular fruit or vegetable starring her jams depends on the season and what's readily available in abundance. For the most part, she considers her preserve making a hobby and shares the fruits of her labor with her family and friends within the village, not quite ready to take on the responsibilities of starting up and running her own business. Her main experience in the entrepreneurial world are the stalls she runs during festivals and tourist season, which is just fine with her at the moment. It turns a decent profit for her to continue her hobby until she's ready for her jelly business to take a more year-long position. What are their goals, hopes, and dreams? Gilly does aspire to run her own preserves business in Ceannaiche stad Village one day. There are still a lot of plans in the works and saving up enough to be able to own and operate her store will take time. She hopes that she can one day incorporate her sister Torri's honey in her business, and perhaps even turn it in to a family run business with a partnership with The Wake and Bakery Café that her sister, Quinley, runs. There's a dream of expanding her business even further and becoming the jam, jelly, and preserve provider to most of the other restaurants, inns, taverns that make up Ceannaiche stad Village. Gilly knows that it's best to start small and work her way up, though, and is trying to pace things in as smart a way as she can so she can be successful and achieve her ambitions. She doesn't see herself ever travelling outside of the Aos Sí Kingdom, content to stay within the Kingdom's Realm and Ceannaiche stad Village now that she and her sisters are residents (and how can you maintain a business when you're constantly on the move?). The thought of foreign lands is only exciting in the potential prospect of new ingredients that she can experiment with and turn in to jams, but Gilly is content to acquire these goods and ingredients through traders that visit during tourist seasons and festivals. One day, Gilly would love to have children of her own, though she doesn't wish to be bound to a relationship. She'll most likely end up in a relationship similar to that of her parents, finding no need of a traditional label to classify her love life. Why do YOU want to join the village?: To be honest, the premise of the village has interested me for a while! I think it's such a cute concept, and I love the idea of such a homey place for potential future Soquili to belong to. I've always been more keen on having my Soquili in herds, it makes reaching out to others for RP and plotting a lot less intimidating because there's already a shared element, and Ceannaiche Stad just seems like a really nice community to be involved with.

Muirne is a warm, friendly, cheerful, and hospitable sort, fond of sprites and a good dance beat. She can't really hold still once the music starts, and she can't stop the nonsensical syllables that pour from her muzzle in time to the music. Never one to turn people away, if you can't pay a more traditional price for her goods and services, Muirne will accept a good deed or a good performance that captures her mind and body. Sometimes offers to do nice things, she believes in paying favors forward. Really loves the smiles and excitement of sprites exploring the world around them. If anyone wants to learn something from her, she'll happily teach them what they want to know. Knowledge is part and parcel of discovery, and discovery means seeing the world afresh, even if it wasn't your discovery.

Muirne owns and runs Preas na Dearc, making jams, jellies, preserves, pickles, syrups, and fruit butters. It's a full-time business, broadly speaking, but goes through phases: during the off-season, Muirne does all the preserving, brewing, bottling, and canning, spending the majority of her days just making stock, filling orders of local businesses and residents; during the busy season, she sells the majority of her stock to travelers and visitors. It's often a busy and rough schedule, but she makes it work. To help the business during the off-season, Muirne does run a bed-and-breakfast for one small group or family of travelers during the busy season.
While these activities keep her busy in the daytime, it's the evenings when Muirne feels most alive. While working in the kitchen, she can usually be caught singing catchy tunes entirely in gibberish, using her voice as an instrument in a tradition called puirt-a-beul, stringing her nonsensical syllables together into a dance tune whose meaning one feels they could catch if they only understood the words.
What are their goals, hopes, and dreams?
Much as she loves Preas na Dearc, Muirne would love to sing her puirt-a-beul at dances, maybe even join a band that plays at all the social dances in the village. Sharing her puirt-a-beul with other would-be singers would also be awesome. The music would absolutely be a side activity, but a fun one to share with those around her, and spread to future generations of sprites. Preas na Dearc would stay a constant in her life.
At this point, Muirne does not have plans to have sprites of her own. Too much to do at this stage of her life, and she's not sure she'd have the attention to keep an eye on a bunch of sprites in a kitchen filled with fragile containers and pots of various fluids boiling away over flames.

The Scottish Celtic cultural details are admittedly a large part of the appeal, and I am an awful, awful nut, and a picky nut at that, for faery lore, especially when researched and thought out well. Having some ideas to play with by just looking at this lovely don't hurt, either. I also love RPing and plotting. It'd also be interesting to branch out into a more genderfluid RP setting, even though I didn't have a genderfluid persona in mind when looking at this mare.

Calm and respectful, She finds the joy and positive in the smallest of things, while enjoying the company of others and doesn't mind being the shoulder to cry on. She will take her time and listen, as others come to her with their problems, making them tea to calm their nerves in the process and trying her best in her way to give them the best advice she can think of.

She makes Teas and herbal remedies for a living. As she works on her own, she doesn't mind helping others with their task, dabbing in a few things if the other Soquili don't mind teaching her. Her own business would be her traveling tea shop, and I would see it being called Tea Time, where others come to relax, or she would come to them if it was too much trouble for others to come to her. Full time as it would help anyone who needs that bit of peace and relaxation, or need someone to chat with and get some things off their mind. I could also see her working with her sisters, One getting Honey from Torri to sweeten her teas and baked goods from Quinley that would be delectable with the tea's she makes.

Her goals would be if she could settle down in one place and have a permanent Tea Shop, selling and making teas for everyone from any herd and outside herds if they wandered by. Her hopes is that anyone who comes into her shop that are upset in anyway will leave more relaxed and feeling better. Her dreams are to create that perfect blend of harmony within her mixes, one that would satisfy everyone's taste buds where it would eventually spread throughout the lands in hopes to bring anyone who drinks it joy.

Tenley is messy, a bit out of sorts, and occasionally over-the-top; she tries to fit into a town full of busy-body locals albeit her exuberant attitude, which may or may not play out in her favor. She's friendly, a bit too much perhaps, and once you've given her a smile, she'll do anything to keep it there. Laughter is the best medicine, and if she cannot make you laugh, she's failed, and she will not give up until she's succeeded. Although the peppy cheer-leading persona may be annoying to some, she does it with the best intentions, and will always own up to a mistake she's made.
Because she lacks skill in the kitchen, or really, any hard labor, Tenley tries to make up for it by cleaning. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to sweep up dust, after all!! If the work is tedious but easy, expect to see her chipping away. Again -- she'll do anything for that smile! Once she's made her customers happy, she's happy. Upon learning that she can make others laugh by being silly, Tenley started to practice that skill, and it's become the overarching trait in the rather tiny body. Big, exuberant, obnoxious moves, which are the best way to entertain! The show(wo)man side of her is a bit bossy, but that's only because she likes things to be as crazy and silly and fun as they can be, so expect her to be as precise and perfect as she can be when performing.

Tenley, unlike her sisters, does not possess the knowledge capable of working around food; anything in the kitchen is pretty much off limits to this mare. Instead of trying, and failing (as she has done time and time again), Tenley began focusing her attention elsewhere. As a foal, she'd try to be like her sisters, fail, and then make a game of it -- and as an adult, she's honed in on the ability to put on a show. It used to make the other foals laugh - her silliness upon failing - and the attention she got from it was enthralling, so why not make it a career? Why not...make the entire village laugh? The entire kingdom? The entire world?
She began performing for small groups of critters around the village, and she'd entertain them any number of ways -- falling, jokes, (poorly) singing -- anything for the smiles it brought, and it was magical. She'd help the other shop owners with cleaning, stocking or anything they needed, while practicing her next performance, and then, with the permission of the shop owner, set aside a day where she'd perform outside their shop. If it went well, the shop owner would have a few new customers, and she a budding reputation. If it went poorly, well, she'd make it up to the shop owner by continuing to volunteer her time in helping them in whatever way they chose. And if it went poorly, she'd spend the rest of the evening figuring out how to make it better.
Now, older, and established, and sisters the owners of The Wake and Bakery Café and a respected honey business, Tenley has created her own studio for performance art. Sona Baile Theatre is a place where creatures from all walks of life can join and learn how to act, sing, dance -- whatever! She's currently in the works of hiring tutors, and her business is small, but she knows how big it could be. On festival days, Tenley sets up a puppet-show for the kiddies, where she thrives in their laughter and charges only in smiles -- the happiness and thrill of it all comes not from the money or the exchanging of goods, but the attention it brings the rest of the village. If she can help out without making a mess, this is her way.
So she's the entertainment, and she loves it. Off-season activities include teaching those who wish to learn her craft, and developing a stronger performance for next time.
What are their goals, hopes, and dreams?
One day, if at all possible, Tenley hopes to be the 'Mother Goose' of Ceannaiche stad Village, sharing stories and putting on plays for everyone who cares to watch. She wants to be known across the kingdom, not because she's vain and wants the attention, but because her name -- her art -- could bring happiness, and well, lots of new customers! She hopes to set up a studio that is large enough to put on full-fledged, full-staffed plays instead of the individual puppet shows or performances she puts on by herself or with an assistant or two. With this establishment, she could bring her creativity to the world, and one day, perhaps even leave the kingdom, to go on tours! That is, of course, if her sisters agreed; she'd never intentionally leave them behind.
If a kingdom was to survive, wouldn't the stories that were passed down from generation to generation be the reason for it? Tenley lives by this belief, and she wishes one day others will too.

Mid-morning sun streams in through an open window. Well, window is a bit of an exaggeration, the tiny opening is really more of a rough hewn hole. Not a jagged hole, but a smooth one, just like the other half dozen purposefully placed at regular intervals around the room. Happy Trails Daycare is a small business owned by a flutter named Everly. It is located in a small hollowed out section of a tree in the middle of Ceannaiche stad Village. ((Can be relocated if it doesn't fit))
All is quiet this morning. It’s nap time and after a busy schedule of education and play, aside from Everly, only a single young shrew remains awake. The rest lazily rest on tiny woven mats set about the room. This is what she loves the most: the children. Everly has an immense love and compassion for the young and spends most of her waking hours caring for them. Ever since she seen them coming into her sister, Quinley’s bakery, with their happy faces and giggles, she knew she wanted to spend her days with them.
The colorful flutter, always busy, contentedly tidies up after the youngsters presently in her charge. Every puzzle, gadget, and toy is sorted away. The little shrew following at her heels tentatively offers her a puppet.
Kneeling, Everly asks, “Are you done with this?” The tiny creature just bobs their head.
She accepts the puppet and pops it onto a claw, “Thank you!” The flutter employs a silly voice and garners a delighted giggle in return.
With all the miscellaneous things stowed back in their places, she retrieves a couple large wicker picnic totes from the kitchen area. The totes are absolutely packed to the brim with goodies, fresh fruit, nuts, preserves, and as a special treat, baked goods from her sisters bakery.
“Alright, time to get up sleepy heads.” Everly makes her way around the the room, “We’re going on an adventure!” She whispers in an excited tone.
“This is the way we wake ourselves up, wake ourselves up…” She sings ((to the tune of wheels on the bus)) and gets them to do a little shimmy to wake up their tired bones. Once awake the children all line up in pairs, 8 in all.
The small band sets out and down the road. Several villagers stop and wave, every smile returned in kind.
“Good day Miss Squirrel… So nice to see you this morning… Why yes it is!”
Half way through town they encounter a flustered looking mouse. “Oh just the flutter I needed to see!”
Everly smiles and nods, “What can I do for you?”
“Oh no big thing, I just wanted to have a little get together, it's my anniversary this week you see!”
Aside from childcare Everly is often found organizing family events and various small functions around the village. Who doesn’t enjoy a good party. Meeting new individuals and having a good time. And she’s good at it. Folk are always looking for her help.
“Congratulations! What did you have in mind?” They plot for a minute or two, just long enough for a certain tired little shrew to get fussy and accidentally bump another child. “Drop by later and we’ll talk more.”
She immediately turns her attention to the growing disturbance. “What’s the matter?” She evokes concern and gets to eye level.
“MY FOOOOT!” A miniscule lizard wails, fountains of tears gush forth, its the end of the world.
“There, there, let me have a look.” She examines the injury. A slight tinge of red marks where the tiny shrew’s claws grazed. “Looks like nothing is broken, can you do this?” She extends her right hoof and pulls it back.
Cautiously he complies, following her.
“Now you do the hokey-pokey and turn yourself around and that's what it’s all about!”
He laughs, forgetting the scratch.
“Come on kids!”
They continue on their way, looking at towering flowers, buds, and interesting rocks. At the end of the road they reach their destination: several massive bee hives. The mouthwatering smell of fresh honey is extremely strong here. Her sister Torri is a beekeeper and this particular hive is definitely one of hers. Between its distinctive coloring, and immaculate appearance there is no doubt.
“Alright children, here we are!” She stops the group at the hive’s main entrance. “Now remember, we have plenty of snacks and Torri is bringing even more things for us to try so please try not to disturb the bees while we are visiting.”

Although she can be a bit…distracted by other hobbies and events, rest assured she never wanders far from her one true passion in life.

◆ Relationships: 1. Caydren- Father- Unlike with her mother, Ryn's father is much more readable in terms of his nature. He is a gossip and flirt through and through. As much as she dislikes to admit it, she has the exact same tendencies as he does. Put the two of them in a room together and they will exchange stories for days. Or, if one would like to see something amusing, put a cute mare in the room and watch the two of them vie for her affections. It could possibly be assumed Ryn's flare for the dramatic developed in response to her father's own antics. No matter the case, she loves him dearly...even if he does try to steal her girlfriends from time to time. 2. Ashlyn- Mother- Ryn doesn't understand her mother's flippant passions. She has never been able to grasp how the mare hops from one profession to the other, sticking around for only as long as it interests her before moving on to the next. Her mother always causes her to question what passion truly is and how to gauge something as passion or a passing fancy. However, Camryn also recognizes that her mother possesses a sort of charisma rarely found in others. It is this trait which the young mare admires most about her. She is always watching the elder mare in hopes that she might learn how to answer the whims of the heart more readily, just as she does. 3. Quinley and Torri - Sisters- As with any siblings, Ryn has a friendly rivalry with them. They are always teasing and picking at one another, attempting to outdo each other. Or, at least, that is what she envisions. There is always room for a sisterly competition after all, and she is more than happy to partake in it. Yet in all that she does, she seeks out their opinions and approval, feeling their criticisms the deepest for this very reason. They can be troublesome and annoying at times but, then again, what siblings aren't? Even when they have their tiffs, Ryn never stops supporting and believing in them. She will never hesitate to drop her own projects to help them with theirs. Of course, having something as tasty as pastries and mead as the reward does help. 4. Drystan- Bonded- Camryn met Drystan during one of her first journeys to tiny village at the edge of the Aos Si kingdom. At first, he seemed gruff and uncouth. His drunkard ways didn't sit well with her. Likewise, her drama queen tendencies irked the older mouse. The two seemed destined to dislike each other forever. Except...little by little, and aided by friends and family alike, their disdain for one another slowly lessened. But it was one moment of kindness in particular which marked the turning of the tide forever. Camryn's first wardrobe and weaponry commission in the village was met with disaster. Her singular moment of utter despair witnessed by the one mouse in all the world she wished hadn't. Yet it was her distress, her palpable vulnerability in that instant which touched the hardened former knight. He stepped up to offer his assistance, lending her his vast knowledge of wood-working and armor. It became a bond forged in a time of need for the young one. Now, Drystan resides next to her abode and helps her in her theatrical endeavors. He splits his time between the theater, the Inn, and his carpentry business. They still have their disagreements, as to be expected, but they have sworn to always honor their bond and be there for one another.
◆ Oᴛʜᴇʀ Iɴғᴏʀᴍᴀᴛɪᴏɴ: 1) Camryn’s second name comes from the theatrical slang for a special effect used in past eras. The effect used a mixture containing sulfur which would be ignited to create an eerie blue glow on stage. She fell in love with this “blue fire” so much that she chose to take it on as her own for continued inspiration. 2) The work she has within the village is full-time. She takes on jobs offered to her, peddles her designs in the market, as well as volunteering to make pieces for local and traveling theatrical group(s). 3) The young mare is a hopeless romantic. She actively plays matchmaker whenever the opportunity presents itself. Her love for the dramatic making itself known in these moments.

◆ Personality Bits and Bobs ◆
In a nutshell:
Gypsy Heart. He is a forever wanderer who lives life to the beat of his own drum. Following his heart versus the rules and expectations society might place upon him.
He never questioned that he was a male that the spirits saw fit to embody in the female form. He always knew and accepted that fact. Accepted the foibles and the limitations of his physical form, and learned how to not only overcome them, but eve to use them to his advantage. But he never quite felt comfortable in his own skin. It always felt too tight, like it was a size too small.
While he might present a confident demeanor to others, inside he feels a bit awkward and strange... Causing him to be very careful and deliberate in his actions to try and keep others from viewing him as strange.
Warrior Soul. With a code of ethics and morals all his own, though much like the Bushido code of the samurai. He prizes integrity, honesty, loyalty, compassion, courage, respect and honor. He believes family and duty are the greatest responsibilities one may be blessed to have. He cannot abide liars and bullies, as they go against the core of his beliefs. He will stand up for and protect those weaker than himself, but he won't necessarily go out of his way to seek such out.

Wings fluttered in agitation, and front claws dug deeper into the earth than the might normally, as Regin made his way back to the village where he lived with his sisters when he wasn't off wandering wherever his hooves and claws might take him.
The summer was unusually warm and harsh. Plants weren't growing as well as they normally did, and the game he hunted to help supply those who ate meat in the Three Kingdoms wasn't as plentiful. His haul this trip was on the pathetic side. He only hoped the summer would become more mild, allowing the plants and animals to become more readily available, and so that future trips might yield a greater haul, so there would be sufficient stores come winter.
But in one respect, he guessed he could say this particular trip was a success. Knowing his sisters' hobbies, Regin always kept an eye out for anything that might be useful in their endeavors, or little trinkets that might make them happy... at least a little. In this trip, he had managed to find some honey not too far out of the territory of the Three Kingdoms that the bees made from the pollen of different flowers. It was sweeter and darker with a different flavor than that which Torri's bees produced. He had taken note of the location, as well as managing to snag a bit of honeycomb to bring back as a gift. Perhaps this might help her in her quest to create a good mead. He wasn't sure if it would or not, but it couldn't hurt to try.
He did feel a bit guilty, as he hadn't managed to find a gift for Quinley this time, but he promised himself that next time, next time he would find something special for her.

Muirne is a warm, friendly, cheerful, and hospitable sort, fond of sprites and a good dance beat. She can't really hold still once the music starts, and she can't stop the nonsensical syllables that pour from her muzzle in time to the music. Never one to turn people away, if you can't pay a more traditional price for her goods and services, Muirne will accept a good deed or a good performance that captures her mind and body. Sometimes offers to do nice things, she believes in paying favors forward. Really loves the smiles and excitement of sprites exploring the world around them. If anyone wants to learn something from her, she'll happily teach them what they want to know. Knowledge is part and parcel of discovery, and discovery means seeing the world afresh, even if it wasn't your discovery.

Muirne owns and runs Preas na Dearc, making jams, jellies, preserves, pickles, syrups, and fruit butters. It's a full-time business, broadly speaking, but goes through phases: during the off-season, Muirne does all the preserving, brewing, bottling, and canning, spending the majority of her days just making stock, filling orders of local businesses and residents; during the busy season, she sells the majority of her stock to travelers and visitors. It's often a busy and rough schedule, but she makes it work. To help the business during the off-season, Muirne does run a bed-and-breakfast for one small group or family of travelers during the busy season.
While these activities keep her busy in the daytime, it's the evenings when Muirne feels most alive. While working in the kitchen, she can usually be caught singing catchy tunes entirely in gibberish, using her voice as an instrument in a tradition called puirt-a-beul, stringing her nonsensical syllables together into a dance tune whose meaning one feels they could catch if they only understood the words.

Much as she loves Preas na Dearc, Muirne would love to sing her puirt-a-beul at dances, maybe even join a band that plays at all the social dances in the village. The music would absolutely be a side activity, but a fun one to share with those around her, and spread to future generations of sprites. Preas na Dearc would stay a constant in her life.
At this point, Muirne does not have plans to have sprites of her own. Too much to do at this stage of her life, and she's not sure she'd have the attention to keep an eye on a bunch of sprites in a kitchen filled with fragile containers and pots of various fluids boiling away over flames.

What kind of RP/plotting/etc are you comfortable with?: Just about any, particularly if it leads to interesting character growth/development Why do YOU want to join the village?: Reading through what's been developed so far, this sounds like a lot of fun. The Scottish Celtic cultural details are admittedly a large part of the appeal, and I am an awful, awful nut, and a picky nut at that, for faery lore, especially when researched and thought out well. Having some ideas to play with by just looking at this lovely don't hurt, either. I also love RPing and plotting. It'd also be interesting to branch out into a more genderfluid RP setting, even though I didn't have a genderfluid persona in mind when looking at this mare.
