◈ Overview and Rules ◈ This event is happening both ICly and OOCly! To celebrate the final return to the lands, the Queen has decided to hold an in-character dueling tournament. Not only will this help reestablish their pecking order, so to speak, but it will also familiarize the members of the pride with one another and bring them back to their roots of honor and strength. It is a celebration of their reunited power and an offering of blood to their ancestors for finally bringing them full circle once more. What does this mean for you? Until the end of the contest, dueling points will be doubled. These points will be added to your member's overall point total which can then be used to raise your character to another tier of 'prowess' so to speak. For more information on the dueling system, please click here. Additionally, there will be several prizes for the people who win the most amount of points during this contest! For more information on that, please see the post below. Keep in mind that there are also a few little rules that I need everyone to read and remember as this event plays out. 1. This is for Outlands members ONLY - you can't play the game without a pawn, sorry!
2. DO NOT delete your posts once you have rolled - if I see anyone deleting posts to get more points, they will be disqualified from all meta events.
3. You may give away the grand prize if you win but ONLY to an Outlands Newbie.
4. A roleplay must be started and finished within this event to earn double points!
5. Unfinished roleplays will not be counted, they must be rolled and have filled out posts that meet SoA breeding requirements at a minimum.

◈ The Grand Prize: Isigidi ◈ Name: Isigidi Meaning: Fighting Like Millions Inheritance Position: 4th (behind Kethiwe, Amachwane and Azisa) Unique: Isigidi is the youngest of his siblings! Life: Isigidi and his siblings were born during the Queen's pilgrimage through the rogue lands. Although they never knew their father it has never really mattered much to them with such a headstrong matron. Their mother expects a lot of them and, over the years, they have heard the stories of their ancestors and their homelands repeatedly so that they will be prepared for their role once they return home. Isigidi, being the youngest, has always had very little hope of seeing the throne and that seems to suit him just fine. He has plunged headlong into becoming a strong, brave warrior and even though he is the youngest of his litter, he is the largest and most brawny by a long shot. He has always had a knack for battle and never backs down from a fight - unfortunately, he is also prone to an obsessive streak like many of his mother's bloodline. ◈ Form and Claims ◈ For the duration of this event you will keep track of your points in a SINGLE POST in this thread. Once the event is over you can claim ALL of your points in the usual dueling claim thread and have them added to your member's total points. Remember that all points are DOUBLED for the duration of this event so they are calculated as follows: For every duel your lion wins, no matter by how much, you will get 4 points. You may still claim scar points.
For every MAJOR scar your lion incurs, they will get 2 points. (This must be recorded in a duel. To suffer a MAJOR SCAR in a duel there must be (3) six-point dice rolled by your opponent. Your lion may not accumulate more than one point-scar per duel.)
For every (3) MINOR scars your lion incurs, they will get 2 points. (This must be recorded in a duel. To suffer a MINOR SCAR in a duel there must be (3) four-or-greater-point dice rolled AND KEPT by your opponent. Your lion may not accumulate more than one point-scar per duel which means to get three minor scars there must be at least three duels. You may not keep a major scar and minor scar from the same duel.)
Examples OneScar rolled: 6, 4, 4, 6, 6, 5. Mufasa rolled: 6, 1, 2, 6, 6, 1. Scar has rolled 31 total. Mufasa has rolled 22 total. Scar wins the duel and collects 1 dueling point. Additionally, Scar has rolled (3) 6-sided dice so Mufasa collects 1 scar point. Scar has also rolled (3) OTHER dice great than four, however, Mufasa does not get to claim a minor scar point because he is already collection a major scar point. Additionally, Mufasa has rolled (3) 6-sided dice so Scar collects 1 scar point even though he has also won a duel point. TwoScar rolled: 6, 4, 5, 4, 5, 4 Mufasa rolled: 6, 1, 2, 1, 2, 1 Scar has rolled 28 total. Mufasa has rolled 13 total. Scar wins the duel and collects one dueling points. Additionally, Scar has rolled (3) dice great or equal to 4. Mufasa now collects one third of a scar point. Even though Scar technically rolled (6) dice great or equal to 4 Mufasa does NOT get to collect two minor scars from this battle.
