Water-color Painting - From the moment that he first got tiny 10 dollar palette of paint, Rod has loved to paint with water colors. The very particular way the paint splatters and bleeds on a canvas sends delight coursing through his veins! Perfect combinations of water and paint lead to the most wonderful of images that have very much made their way into his line of work. He's often out and about with his sister's kids, painting outside, or just painting away in the gallery part of his parlor when he has no clients to work on.

Day Care -- Since he likes to dub himself his big sister's best helper, the biggest part of her life he helps with is the care and maintenance of her kids. Despite his large and burliness, he is gentle and does his best to keep them happy and healthy, doing so well that he often times is asked to watch some of the younger kids in the neighborhood, along side his own. He has found he enjoyed this enough and did it often enough that he became a Licensed Child Care Provider, and runs it freely, giving the single mothers well deserved breaks every other weekend.

Dog Parks -- Roderick's best friend is a chocolate labradoodle named Staccato, so naturally he does his best to keep the pup happy and healthy, as he does with most things. This includes going to the dog park! With so many around DC, he tries to hit up a different one each week. Only really once or twice a week though, since Staccato gets worn out playing with all the kids.

Gory and Ridiculous B-rated Movies -- When the kids are asleep, and he's left alone with only Staccato at his feet, he loves to browse and watch all of the awful and gory movies his movie services have. Often times when the costume and card shops in town have Horror movie marathons, he'll be the first to buy a ticket, or atleast try to be! He's more than happy to buy any friends tickets too, so he doesn't have to go alone, no that being alone would stop him from going.

Virtues:

Playful -- Child-like wonder never left Rod, and it comes through with his methods of work and play. His entire tattoo shop is set up to be the most bright and light hearted place possible, reflecting well on his own nature. He enjoys light teasing and jokes, as well as flirting with people, if only to make them smile. When it comes to the children, he finds himself with the boundless energy needed to keep up with them, and is always ready to play the big monster or be the mountain that they wish to climb. Everything to him has the potential to be fun.

Easy Going -- Rod's favorite phrase in the whole wide world is 'no worries'. Mistakes happen, problems arise, but in the end they will be taken care of. He's quick to forgive and happy to give second chances, breezing through life as if there aren't any worries to be concerned about. That's not to say he doesn't worry, he just has confidence that things will always get better, and has the initiative to make things right, or at least nudge them in the right direction.

Gentle -- Having cared for his older sister for a few years before she regained her independence again, he has cultivated his gentle touches and words. He's genuinely afraid of hurting another persons feelings, or them physically because he doesn't know his own body very well, so when it comes to physicality he takes great care. He knows well how to handle a broken heart or how to soothe a cruel word said, and truly tries to be a good 'dad', 'uncle', or 'brother' to all he meets.

Flaws:

Chatter Box -- Talk and Talk and Talk and TALK! This man can certainly run his mouth. It's as if he doesn't know how to shut up! And not only that, he often times can't take a hint when people want him to leave them alone. While respectful when other people are talking, when he gets started with his own train of thought, it is often hard to get him to stop talking long enough to get your thought in.

Scatterbrained -- When left on his own, Rod is kinda a bumbling mess. He enjoys doing things, and treating people to special things, but unless specifically asked, he tends to go by his own time. It doesn't matter if it's 2pm or 2am, he will find that something is BURNING for him to do, and he is more often than not try to drag you along, neglecting to consider your own time. He also tends to forget minor promises he makes. Though he won't forget important things, like doctor's appointments or clients, he WILL forget that you told him to take out the garbage. Twice. Each day since Monday.

Push-over -- Roddy just does not know how to say no. He cannot resist giving into the childish whims or little whining that children often do. He also cannot resist saying yes to whatever someone asks of him if it's not incredibly ridiculous or would hurt people. In saying that, he finds himself a accidental pawn into plots that become nefarious, and is way too quick to be convinced to take the fall.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION

Eyes: Wide and wondrous, always kinda has a twinkle in his eye and his eyebrows would be tapered in an amused way. Imagine someone always on the verge of giggling. That's him. HTML color #ace600

Hair: Man bun and beard, what can he say? HTML Color #993366 It's messy, but in an organized fashion. Not sure if that makes sense. Like... He tried to make himself look neat, but life made it loose again.

Face: More of an oval shape with a scar coming from the top of his hairline on the left side, going down, then slicing though his eyebrow and ending near his ear. It's faded but is obviously there because of the indent. It is not a straight scar, it's jagged and uneven.Skin color is kinda golden beige.

**Note: His arms are covered in water color tattoos. Nothing specific, it looks like dripping paints and smooth brush lines that fade. There's no organization to it, nor can any patter be determined. It almost looks like he was drawing on his arms with regular paint. He has more tattoos under his shirt, but is rarely seen without a shirt on.

Challenge: To grow and thrive among the flowers.

Page Weapon: A simple, wooden, hand-held garden hoe with a metal head. Dull, not very impressive. Has the Chronos' symbol on the metal head.

Squire: The hoe has gotten longer, standard garden size now, and the head of it has slightly changed shape to a flower the Chrono's symbol is on the head.
Magic: When channeling his magic through his hoe, he summons a thick rain of energy flower petals to fall around himself or a target, acting as an 'impenetrable' shield that can block some attacks. The shield can block attacks from any opponent equal to or lesser rank than he is, and it prevents anyone from physically moving through the shield regardless of ranks. Magic of third stage characters or higher can pass through but nothing else. He can cast his magic on any target within fifteen feet of him. The shield has a four foot radius around its target and his energy pool will last for forty seconds. He cannot move while the magic is being channeled but if his target is another person, they can move freely and the shield will follow them.

Knight Weapon: A standard garden hoe with an intricate head. It's the head is large and wide, with flowers making up the shape and the Chronos symbol as the center of the flower. on the opposite end is a Cap that is the shape of the Chronos symbol.
Magic: The rain of petals now allows for slight healing when remaining in a center. Minor scratches and bruises can be healed within ten seconds of channeling and while it cannot heal lethal injuries it can hasten the healing process, though it would take the full duration of his magic pool to make any real difference or move the target away from immediate death. It cannot heal broken bones, only mend skin. He can now reach a target from twenty feet away and his energy pool has grown to fifty seconds.
