 The mare awoke with a sudden feeling of unrest. Believe turned her neck and opened her eyes to see where she was. It was not her home in the plains anymore. She figured that she had laid down on the soft wet and cool mud of the swamp. Beside her, laid an injured cheetah. In the bleak sun, its fur shone stunningly. She wanted to nuzzle against it but it only let out loud cat-like screeches of defense. The kiokote got up and slowly walked towards the injured animal. FIRST TASK: Bribery Believe wanted to help the cheetah and offered it a branch with ripe red berries.
It didn't seem to want the fruits and pawed it away its sharp claws. OOC Footnote 1-3: It's injured, but it's still picky. It dislikes your bribe and stiffens further. Lose 2 trust. Current HP: 30 / 30 Current Trust: 10 - 02 = 08 Section notes: roll 9-10 to move on Sure, you want to help. But you can't really do anything unless you know more about the nature of the injury. As any injured animal would be, this creature is more than a little jittery. You're going to have to bribe it to be allowed any closer. Each time you roll, describe what you're attempting to bribe the animal with.

It didnt seem to like berries so the kiokote went and picked up an overly ripened apple off of the ground.
Crawling out of one side of the apple, was a juicy pink worm.

She still wanted to tend to its wound but it won't let her come close.
This time she offered a dead mouse.

Still her efforts to bribe the animal did not work.
The cheetah seemed to not like anything.
It did not want unfamiliar creatures to get near it either.
Believe picked up a dead branch in her mouth and tossed it in frustration.

Believe started to sing to it and the cheetah got up and ran away into the prickly bush.
She chased after it and her skin touched the sharp thorns.
Ouch!
The kiokote woke up, realising that she had rolled into a prickly bush in her sleep.
But the cheetah, well she believed it was all a dream...
Getting up on all fours, she strolled over to the nearest stream, ready to quench her thirst in broad daylight. OOC Footnote 1-3: It's injured, but it's still picky. She was heavily asleep but something did not feel right. Her nose kept picking up the scent of blood. Blood. Just plain blood. It made her stomach growl. Waking up hungry, she licked her lips, and her eyes gazed upon a trail of blood in the swamp. Kiss of Death followed the reddish brown path and wondered what kind of animal was bleeding so much that it made a wide bloody path. And then she saw it. It was a wounded Caiman. She fetched a fish from the stream and attempted to bribe the caiman with it.
To her surprise, it took her offer.
Quickly, she tried to investigate as to how it bled so much.
