The Voyager, is a medium sized cruiser yacht owned by Scarlett Devlin. It runs on an electrical engine charged by the solar panels located atop of the ship, the outside is a sleek white exterior design, but the inside is far more old fashioned with wooden walls and flooring, as well as antique furnishings and sturdy plexiglass display cases on podiums to show off various prized artifacts. Walking through the doors, one finds themselves in a large living space with wall lamps, a corner couch around a coffee table, and fireplace to the right, and a bar to the left. Lining the walls are also shelves behind glass doors that contain various fossils, old books, antiques, and artifacts for display. To the left, past the bar is a small kitchen with a stove and mini fridge and pantry, and to the right past the living room is a hallway with a door to a large study, the walls lined with more various artifacts and antiques, but mostly many history and archeological books, as well as legends, lore, research papers, and journals. There is a computer desk covered with charts and loose papers with a well worn leather chair, and a globe stationed in the far corner with many markings covering the surface.
At the far end of the hallway is a small snug bedroom, with one queen sized bed and a stone tile bathroom to the right with a shower. There are many drawers and cabinets in this room and the study, though their contents appear to be sealed behind combination code locks. Outside the ship, you can walk around back the hull and climb up into the control room, which is composed of the ship's steering wheel and the controls to operate the ship at sea.

Scarlett raised an eyebrow as Zak suggested he would be fine in his lack of layers in spite of her warning about the colder weather, but otherwise shrugged. "Suit yerself." She figured he was smart enough to know his own tolerance. The thought of her guess about him being from Snowpoint came to mind again, even though he'd dismissed it at the time. After all, knowing him it was entirely possible he'd been lying to throw her off track, so to speak. Bringing Zak to her ship, she smirked when he suggested that he'd expected something more old fashioned due to her usual attire. "Ya aren't wrong in yar assumptions. I would have liked an old fashioned pirate ship, but I'm ain't stupid. These ships are much less conspicuous, more reliable and watertight than one of them giant wooden boats." She mused, walking up the ramp and opening the door to follow Zak inside. "The interior on tha other hand, I could do whatever I liked....." She suggested gesturing to the laminated wooden finish lining the walls and floors of the boat that accented the antique feel of the interior.
She took in a deep breath and sighed. "Ah, it's good to be home~" She smiled. "This be tha livin' room, complete with couches, fireplace, and bar, fully stocked. Watch far the displays and see to it that ya daen't break anythin'." Scarlett suggested with a playful leer. "Over to yer left is the kitchen and dining room, though since I've been eatin' mostly out of pokemon centers as of late, it's not really stocked with anythin' perishable, so I hope ya managed to eat breakfast b'fare ya came here. To the right is my study and then the bedroom." She pointed to each area and explained briefly. "It's a bit cosy for mare than two, but it's manageable. Make yerself at home." She gestured dismissively. "I kin pour ya a drink ifn ya'd like. M'sure it's five o' clock somewhere." She suggested with a chuckle.

Vandal couldn't help but get a goofy smile on his face as Mila insisted it was a promise with a serious expression. Apparently she didn't seem to have understood his question of her statement being a threat or a promise, since her serious expression seemed to indicate the former even though her answer was the latter. He probably shouldn't explain it, but he was tempted just to see her reaction. "Oh?~ I look forward to it then." He smirked. The playful mood quickly died down to a more serious one when Vandal unexpectedly stumbled onto his mark, and soon found himself in a tight spot when plasma grunts grew suspicious of their intrusion. He was forced somewhat to take unsavory action, quickly knocking the grunts unconscious and disguising himself and Mila in their place. Eventually when Mila listed off their pokemon, he changed Scarlett's team to match the grunts'. His serious expression faltered a bit into a sadder one when Mila asked why he was doing this. "Sorry dollface, I didn't want to get ya involved, but I have orders from my trainer to infiltrate this base and find out about what happened to Zinzolin at the fair." He explained in the voice of the grunt he was now disguised as. "But hey, they were at the fair, maybe we might find something out about your trainer?" He suggested lightly.

Zak chuckled a little. "Surprised you didn't find a vay around zat, Mishka. Eef only so you could brag about getting avay vis vat you do vhile still toting around such an obvious, proud ship," he remarked, flashing her a smirk. He was a bit glad to find his read on her hadn't been off, though. Aside from the obvious ego boost being right did to him, it was also just reassuring to have some predictability with her, given how... erratic things could be between them.
He ducked in, looking around, then glancing back at Scarlett with an amused smirk as she commented on what he'd already started taking notes on-- the interior. "Fair enough..." he remarked, turning his gaze back around to continue observations. He seemed to be very closely analyzing everything, taking each thing in, looking at it with a critical eye, though he wasn't commenting. Which... could have been a good thing or a bad thing. He glanced back at her and flashed a debonair smirk in response, then looked around as she directed him through the interior of the ship. "I see..." His mind was honestly elsewhere. Not distracted, like the previous day, but thoughtful, considering. He imagined she probably had a lot locked up or stowed away with him on board. Stuff she didn't want him to find. Perhaps she'd even removed it from the vessel. He didn't plan on snooping... but it made his mind churn. He turned, dropping back onto the first comfortable seat he could find, and reclined back. "I don't know, Mishka," he remarked playfully, "How do I know you von't drug et and take advantage of me en my vulnerable state? Ve are, after all, stranded and isolated on your little ship..." He lowered his eyelids and gave her a smug, teasing look, then shrugged and waved a hand through the air. "I vouldn't mind a drink. Vhatever you have es fine," he answered more sincerely.

Scarlett grinned wildly as Zak suggested that she would be the kind of person to have an obvious ship and still get away with it. "Daen't tempt me." She scolded playfully. "Tha challenge is appealin' I just might try that sometime." She suggested thoughtfully. However she wouldn't just yet, there were things she needed to take care of first before taking such a risk.... As they made their way inside, Scarlett gave him the lay of the land watching him closely in the corner of we eye and in her peripherals, but without being obvious about it. He was analyzing everything, which Scarlett somewhat expected, but didn't mind. Her love of wood furnishing and antiques was nothing too important, especially since he knew her name, he likely knew that her father was an archeologist, so the shelves and displays of artifacts wouldn't clue him in to anything he didn't already know. Everything important had either beed scanned and disposed of, or locked away in hidden drawers armed with the special security system that cypher was watching closely. Not that she expected Zak to openly snoop, but she couldn't be too careful.
When Zak finished looking around and took a seat on the couch, Scarlett did what any good host would do and offered him a drink. She couldn't help but laugh when Zak feigned concern over being drugged and taken advantage of. "Does it really matter what happens if you enjoy the ride either way?" She suggested with a smirk. "Ah, but in all seriousness, as.... Tempting as that would be, it's too easy, and you know me better than that." She gave him a sly smile and turned to get them both drinks upon request. The day was still young, so it was probably best not to go with anything too heavy. Deciding on a beer from the fridge, Scarlett came back out and handed Zak the bottle, unopened so that it was obvious it hadn't been tampered with. Not that Zak needed the reassurance, Scarlett just made sure it was unopened as a silent amusing joke more than anything else. "So what do ya think?" She gestured around to the ship. "Ya've been awfully quiet, and ya can't tell me ya daen't have an opinion." She suggested with a smirk. "It's okay, you can tell me, ya won't hurt my feelings if it's not yar taste." She chuckled and took a swig of her beer.

The smirk on Zak's face only grew at Scarlett's response. "Zat seems like only more of a reason to tempt you, Mishka..." he remarked, lowering his eyelids a bit. He would honestly enjoy seeing her pull that off, for a variety of reasons. He shook the thought off a bit, though, quirking an eyebrow as Scarlett offered her drink, and playfully presenting his 'concerns'. Her response almost wiped the smirk right off his face, though. Just barely, he managed to freeze his expression, but if he hadn't, if he'd faltered a second, it would have dropped to a stony frown and a dead stare. That wasn't funny. Not even for the serious sort of reasons, either. He didn't care about the drugging joke.... it just wasn't funny. He couldn't even pinpoint a single reason why (though a few came to mind), but it just instantly sucked the humor out of him.
Still, though, for the most part, he managed to hide that reaction. "Fair enough," he drawled back, rolling his shoulders to try and force himself to relax. He reclined back, still forcing on a slight smirk, and watched her leave as she went. The moment she was gone, he finally let his smile fall. A dead look took its place, nearly a scowl, btu he shook his head, and instead let a more passive expression cross his features, his gaze turning to observe his surroundings once more. He looked over as Scarlett returned, reaching out to take the drink, giving a nod of thanks, and a slight smirk, when he noticed it was still closed. He opened it, raising an eyebrow as he took a drink, and listened to her question. He scoffed. "Nyet, not zat. I don't know..." He shrugged. "I don't have much of an opinion. Et's a bit... more cozy zan I expected, I supposed, but not very surprising," he decided, then, after a pause, curiously added, "Do you usually live on here, Mishka...?"

Zak had a point, Scarlett thought with a light chuckle, but she wanted to be tempted, since she had thought about buying an old ship like the one Zak had expected. While she was a risk taker, there were certain boundaries she had to set for herself to make sure she was able to lay low enough to get revenge for her father. Once she had that taken care of, she didn't care whether she lived or died, and could afford to make more decisions like buying a real pirate's ship for herself. Amused as she was when Zak suggested she might drug him and take advantage of him, Scarlett retorted with a comment she knew might earn her some heat, or a few laughs, but she didn't care either way since the suggestion was moot. She did however expect some reaction from him, and when he didn't move or speak, she grew curious, but she wouldn't press him for a reaction. Instead, she pointed out that it didn't matter since she would never try such a thing. Only then did Zak seem to react, relaxing and agreeing to her statement.
What, did he think for a moment she would actually try to drug him? Did she really have to reassure him? Probably not, but as Scarlett moved away to get their drinks, she allowed herself to smirk at the thought with her face hidden. She still ended up handing him a closed beer, the cap untampered to show that she really didn't have any ulterior motives. She doubted he needed the extra assurance, but she was still highly amused at the idea of Zak actually being tense, unhappy, and or nervous at his joking suggestion becoming an unexpected reality. Zak took notice of the closed cap and seemed amused at least, and they moved on, somehow managing to avoid being at each other's throats once again. Scarlett flopped onto the other side of the corner couch and asked for his opinion on her ship, listening as Zak suggested that he didn't have really have an opinion other than the ship being more cosy than expected. Scarlet gave a quiet laugh at that and took another sip of her beer, looking thoughtful as he asked if he usually lived here. That was a difficult question to answer, given that she didn't want to give the impression that she spent a lot of time here, nor did she want to suggest that she didn't, and give him any ideas about trying to come and search the ship when she wasn't around. "It depends." She answered honestly. "I daen't know if I'd say I usually live here, I know I haven't recently, since I've been in Sinnoh collectin' badges an' such, but I'll check in, take some time here every now and again. Some times I'll spend mare time here than others. Truth be told, I kin neva' stay in one place far very long. Sometimes I use her just take a trip to somewhere new, sometimes I jus' need to go sailin' and get away from it all and spend weeks on this piece of sanctuary, but...." She paused. "Even a sanctuary starts ta feel small after a while." She mumbled dryly, glancing to the ground and taking another sip of her drink.

Vandal was no psychic, but he didn't need to be to tell that Mila wasn't happy about the situation. He did feel bad that he was dragging her into this situation, and if he weren't disguised as a plasma grunt, she would be able to see that his ears were laying flat against his head in guild and shame. Still, he pressed on when she conceded to the investigation, sniffing around for more Plasma grunts once they were all under his illusion. He found a room nearby that seemed to have a few other Plasma grunts and listened closely to the voices on the other side. "Those two sure are taking their time..." One woman grunted. "Cool it Shelia. Best to be thorough than sorry. Give them another minute." Another male insisted. Vandal took a moment to mentally tell Mila to act natural and follow his lead before opening the door. "We're back, looks like the coast is clear." He insisted. "About damn time." Sheila grumbled, standing up from her wooden box of a seat. "Shelia was getting worried." The other, seemingly calmer male suggested with a lopsided smile, earning him a punch to the shoulder from the redheaded female grunt. "Shut up Lanzer. I was not, I just don't see the point of sending out scouts when it would be much easier to handle an intruder situation with us all together. I would understand if we had Lord Zinzolin with us, but your sorry asses aren't important enough for the extra precaution." Sheila shoved past the pack of them. "And for Arceus' sake, I know you're all about letting your pokemon feel free by not constantly containing them in a pokeball, but sometimes it is more sensible." She growled. "...Don't take her words to heart Roy, she's just upset we weren't assigned her idol." Lanzer insisted with a light chuckle. "I'm not worried. Did Lord Zinzolin end up arriving safe in....." Vandal paused expertly, acting like he was having trouble remembering to draw out a response from Lanzer. "Wherever he went? Not sure. Haven't gotten word yet, but don't worry, let'd head back to HQ, I'm sure we'll get answers or see him there." Vandal nodded. "Alright. Give us a minute to return our pokemon. Don't wan't Shiela to get more worked up." He suggested, making Lanzer laugh and nod, heading outside. This allowed Vandal time to change their illusions to make them invisible once again, and Vandal looked to Mila. "See? Easy as pie. Now let's get out of here and find your trainer." Vandal insisted, attempting a light smile.

Zak quirked a curious eyebrow at Scarlett's answer, sipping his beer as he listened. He was taking inventory of everything she said, but he was also just... listening. Being conversationally, polite. He looked at her for a long moment, then raised his eyebrows briefly and glanced away. For a moment, it seemed he was going to let them lapse into a heavy silence, but eventually, he spoke up. "I see..." he murmured simply, letting the conversation conclude. He clasped his beer in his hands and leaned forward, fixing her with a look. "Speaking uv personal matters.... Didn't you have somesing you vanted to talk vis me about?" He hadn't expected to bring this up. In fact, he was pretty sure he'd made up his mind to adamantly avoid it, at some point, or at least try and avoid confronting it as long as he could. And yet, her he was, the one to start the conversation. Perhaps he had nothing else to say, but he wasn't the sort to dodge silence, especially if the alternative could possibly ruin everything. Scarlett was mildly surprised when Zak brought up the other personal matter Scarlett wanted to discuss, given how he clearly hadn't been wanting to talk about it before. Still Scarlett supposed if he wanted to discuss, now was as good a time as any. "Yeah." She frowned, setting her beer down on the table before leaning back against the couch and crossing her legs, giving Zak a serious look. "I consider myself a reasonable woman, and I like working with you, even if it's because I owe you a favor." She still didn't believe she owed him anything, but it was pointless to argue that at the moment. "I'll happily continue doing these tasks and whatnot to repay my debt, all I ask is that you don't call me that name again." She insisted calmly, a silent implication at the end of her sentence. Though she was keeping calm, there was a fire burning behind her golden eyes. She knew she wasn't in a place to be making demands, but she didn't give a damn, he didn't deserve to call her that name. Cypher, Skye, and her father were the only ones who had her permission, but otherwise, as far as she was concerned, Scarlett died years ago with her father. She wasn't the little girl that the others knew and remembered, so if Zak was going to spout that name left and right then she would fight him at every turn, and even though he could over power her with his pokemon, that didn't mean she would be cooperative. It wasn't asking much, just a name, and she was certain he would rather keep these interactions pleasant. Still, she couldn't be sure. Honestly, she was curious what his reaction would be to this demand. It was entirely within his nature to insist that he could call her whatever the hell he wanted, but he could also be reasonable as well. She was certain if she had been less congenial in presenting the issue just now, he would have responded with the former.

Vandal felt his heart sink as Mila spoke out to him softly, insisting that she wouldn't find her trainer here, and to point her in the direction of the nearest pokemon center. They had finished his mission and he would have been more than happy to continue looking around, but given what he'd just done and dragged her into, he wasn't surprised that she was excusing herself. At least she was being polite about it. "Yeah... I understand." Vandal gave a sad smile and pointed down the street. "Nearest center is just down there, red roof, can't miss it." He mumbled. "Good luck, and I'm... Sorry I couldn't help much. Maybe I'll see you around, yeah?" With a sheepish smile, he backed away, only suggesting seeing her around to make himself feel better, even though deep down he knew the chances weren't likely, even if she were interested in seeing him again, which he doubted.

Scarlett was somewhat relieved Zak asked for specifics. Even though it didn't guarantee anything, at least he seemed to be considering it rather than outright rejecting her. "In private too." She insisted calmly, though she had to wonder why he asked. Did it matter? She didn't like him using her name. Public, private, in the Distortion World, it didn't matter, he didn't deserve to call her by her given name, as if he knew Scarlett Devlin. "Thank you." She sighed tiredly as he agreed. Though, when commented that he was surprised how set off she was, it became clear he didn't understand her mentality on the matter, and she wouldn't explain it to him, at least not at the moment. Still, if he was surprised by the fact that the name was what set her off, she had to wonder what he thought had. Mentally, she took a step back out of her own head and what she thought was obvious to consider his point of view. If he knew her name, there was only a few ways he could have possibly found out. He'd hacked into her xtransciever and gotten her contacts, then openly admitted to researching them in a text later, so it was likely that he had connected them to her dad, and then back to her.
Wait.... Scarlett looked at Zak, unable to help the slightly amused expression crossing her face. "What, did you think I was upset because you found out about my history?" She asked, somewhat amused. "A stór, if I cared about something like that, I wouldn't have had those contacts in my xtransciever. You're talented, I'll give you that. You found me with nothing but a string of old archeologists, but...." She chuckled. "What exactly do you plan to do with this information?" She quirked an eyebrow. "My family is dead, you can't threaten them. My father's reputation is already tarnished, and if you think I care what happens to the people in my contacts, heh...." A smirk crossed her lips. She didn't even bother finishing that sentence. If he thought she was bluffing, he was more than welcome to test it. She would enjoy watching those bastards squirm as Zak did her work for her. "No, I'm not mad about any of that. If you want to learn more about me, your aren't going to find your answers looking into my past. I'm not the little girl you probably found in those old newspaper articles." She dismissed with another sip of her beer. "If you want to get to know me, you're gonna have ta spend a bit more time face to face." She suggested, slipping back into her accent at last.
She normally wouldn't have said and assumed so much, and she would probably regret this later, but she didn't care at the moment. She felt.... Frustrated for some reason. Maybe it was resurfacing retaliation for her current position of debt. She was a rebel, she didn't like the idea of owing anyone, even if owing Zak meant being with a handsome man and getting rewarded for every task she completed. Deep down, part of her would remain frustrated, especially since part of her knew she didn't owe him a damn thing, so she wanted to rub his nose in the fact that he had nothing on her in spite of his research. The fact that he knew her name was annoying, but it didn't provide any leverage. She just didn't like him calling by her name when he didn't deserve it. It was a personal matter that would make her less cooperative.

Zak tried not to roll his eyes and about half failed, but subdued his response. It was just a name, he definitely felt she was putting way too much weight into it, but... hey, she didn't know his name either, so... Then again, that was for the very same reason he thought she'd been upset with him for using hers-- it suggested knowledge. A name was a gateway to a plethora of information on a person, and despite her appreciation, she seemed to catch onto that, too. And promptly ridicule the idea that that meant anything. Surprisingly, that just got a raised eyebrow from the Russian. He looked at her, sipping his beer, trying to sort through their past impressions. Because he could have sworn he got the impression she was a private person who liked to keep her private life private, and having him pry that open, stroll through, and start reading files on it seemed like the exact kind of thing that would fluster and irritate her. Clearly, he'd gotten the wrong impression.... That, or she was just being stubborn.
He remained quiet, drinking his beer, then finished it off, looking at the bottle as she finished, and then lifting his gaze to her. He let his head tilt to the side slightly, his eyes half open, but a smirk slipping onto his features. "Oh Mishka. You are so very wrong on so very much of zat," he drawled, "Not to sound cheesy, but your past es a vay of getting to know you. I have a good idea uv who you are... Who you vere, in comparison, geeves me an idea uv how you've grown. Perhaps you're steel unpredictable at times, but you're far from a mystery to me. Learning who you are... You'd be surprised how many details I can deeg up. How much I can learn, and how much zat does tell me about you."
At this point, he leaned forward, the bottle held between his hands, his expression a dangerous level of confidence. "You're eenteresting, Mishka. I'm eenjoying getting to know you. But don't sink I von't keep digging, and keep learning. And don't underestimate vhat I can do vis a bit of info..." He leaned back, holding the empty bottle up in a silent gesture to ask for another. He was.... It was hard to tell what he was doing. It almost sounded like a threat... it almost didn't. A warning, a promise, a simple statement to try and rebuke her stance.... His expression wasn't giving anything away, except one thing-- confidence, and absolute certainty in his words. An almost unnerving degree of it, in fact.

Scarlett ignored Zak's eye roll. He had been the one to ask the question, if he thought the answer was ridiculous then that was his problem. Besides, if he thought he had leverage then he was dead wrong, as she took pleasure in pointing out. Zak seemed unswayed however, surprisingly. She watched as he smirked and insisted that she was wrong since her past was a way to know her, since it was still part of her, even if she had changed, and it was a way to dig up even more information. Scarlett shrugged his suggestion off though, her opinion remaining as unswayed as his. "Do it then." She challenged. If he really thought that he could use past information against her in some way, then he was free to waste his time. It would only benefit her in the end. Honestly, she was interested in seeing what he could come up with, since she really couldn't see any issues. Who she was, how much she had grown to predict who she was now? What a load of tauros s**t. The death of her father had changed her dramatically, she would never be the same. That little girl was dead. It was why Scarlett hated Zak calling her by name. She had changed, she wasn't the same, she...
....Was stubbornly trying to convince herself. She refused to accept what Zak said, regardless of how confident he seemed, and it would probably hurt her in the end, but right now she didn't care. She knew herself better than he thought he did. If there was anything to gain from this, she would know. She supposed her arguing could be coming off as a well acted attempt to throw him off the trail, but that wasn't what she was doing. "Honestly, if you do find out anything useful, I would be surprised." She scoffed. She wasn't even sure why she was arguing with him any more. At first it had been to irritate him by showing that he had nothing on her, but now since he was so confident that he could find something, there was no point in trying to convince him otherwise. She wasn't even giving his threat any real thought, either because she was annoyed and stubborn, or because she'd had some liquid courage, or both. She was just that confident that she and Cypher had worked tirelessly to wipe any useful information from the digital world. They had purposefully left her father's article because neither of them could think of any negative outcomes with it being left there, and in her opinion, if Zak was just trying to figure her out as a person, he wasn't going to get anywhere by digging through her past.
Still, if he wanted to waste his time on this wild goose chase, then she wouldn't stop him. That would just give her more time to train and catch up. His pokemon were the only thing that stood in the way of their difference in power, as far as Scarlett was concerned. She looked over his expression as he gestured with his empty bottle, and smirked. That confident, dangerous look always made him look so attractive, even if it was potentially dangerous to her. "I thought I told ya not to tempt me...." She murmured with an amused look, standing to get him another beer. Of course, she had been referring to the ship at the time, rather than Zak himself, but Zak was tempting all the same. Finishing her own beer, she got a water to replace it. She wouldn't drink any more tonight, not that she would be effected by a few more beers, but she didn't want to test boundaries tonight. After grabbing Zak's beer, she moved back to hand Zak his drink, sitting back. "Anyways... What should be my next challenge? I should be ready to face Fantina soon." She suggested, not that she was specifically looking for another badge milestone, just throwing information out.

Zak raised an eyebrow at Scalett's challenge, but then shrugged. "Alright," he replied quite simply. He didn't really even respond to her comment about being surprised if he found something useful. He was already shifting passed the subject, and considering her challenge, while looking to change the direction the atmosphere seemed to be taking. He did smirk, though, at he amused remark, and reclined back again, giving a more lackadaisical version of the confident expression he'd been wearing. "Oh?" Scarlett gave a shrug and a smile when Zak pointed out that she seemed eager for another goal. "I daeno. It's fun, like the basketball game." She suggested, though she grew mildly curious when he insisted that he hadn't thought of anything, or planned to continue giving her little goals. "No? I thought you wanted your investment nice and strong?" She teased, quoting his words from their first few conversations. "That and I thought ya had something in mind, or some reason ya wanted me to train." She mused, though when he jokingly suggested defeating the E4, Scarlett looked amused. "Wouldn't that be something...." She said vaguely. Not that she thought she couldn't do it, but she didn't want that kind of publicity. "Not really. Ifn ya daen't want to keep playin' this little game, that's fine with me. A little disappointin' though. I was looking forward to mare rewards." She suggested with a dry smile. Not that she didn't understand why he wasn't continuing. Their arrangement wasn't exactly on the friendliest of terms, especially right now, and if he really wasn't trying to train her for anything specific, then there really was no reason to reward her.
Though, that didn't mean she would be any less determined to train and get stronger. She wanted to keep fighting gyms until she was on Zak's level, or better yet past him. Plus, she needed to make sure she was strong in order to go back to the ruins and continue to take on those unown. She needed to collect her alphabet after all, and do some research into that golden mask she had found... Speaking of legends and lore, she recalled having promised Zak a look at that old book on enigrake, or something else that took his interest on her ship, but he probably found her ship to be more of the reward than anything else, given how he didn't believe her ramblings about his pokemon. Still, if he was interested, she would show him, but as of this moment, he hadn't shown interest, so she wouldn't push the idea.

Zak smirked, and that smirk grew as not only did her words sink in, but realization did, too. "Vitch I von," he pointed out, tilting his head to the side slightly, "Speaking uv... I believe zere vas a leetle more to my revord, eef I recall correctly..." Yes, that smirk and raised eyebrow remained as he gave a very pointed look. He came here, and it was nice, he got to see his ship and, honestly, he knew what to look out for if he ever needed to look for her. He'd probably have Rufflet get a look of it, too, before he completely parted ways, so that he had at least one flying pokemon that could locate it.
He scoffed a little at her prodding, though. "You are nice and strong, Mishka," he drawled back, reclining in his seat, "At zis point, I don't sink I need to vorry about motivating you." No, he was pretty sure Scarlett was either motivated enough by herself, had other reasons to train, was already in the habit of it, or was strong enough as is. After all, he didn't want her surpassing him or anything.... He narrowed his eyes a little, not menacingly, just... observantly, at her vague response. He wasn't sure he really expected her to take them on, but.... her general reaction caught his attention. He decided not to dig into it, though, and instead let the subject pass, shrugging a bit in response.
"Sorry to disappoint, Mishka. Perhaps I can sink uv somesing later," he remarked, giving her an ambiguous smirk and a tilt of his head. He wasn't feeling as.... competitive at the moment. Perhaps his mood was still a little off from before, or perhaps it was the conversation they were still recovering from...
