Prizes: Bulbasaur Mutant Usdia (contest winner); Charmander Mutant Lizard (raffled among everyone else)
   Rules Please do not delete your post; you may edit as much as you like until closing!
This is a short poem contest, judged by at least two people. The poem may be any style of your choice (free verse, haiku, etc.)
You may enter for a chance at entering the raffle for the Charmander Lizard (even if you won a soquili already), and vice versa.
Event pet rules:
- You may only win 1 paid raffle pet, plus 1 freebie and 1 auction in each of the soquili and familiar categories.
- You may only pass up on a prize if the pet was a surprise (i.e. not shown before you started participating in the game/contest). You can only pass up once in the event, and can't change your mind later.
- If you give away or co-own an event pet with a friend, the pet will count as the event pet for both of you; neither of you will be eligible for another.
- Event-themed customs and breedings do not count towards the event freebie limits. They have standard breeding & custom cooldowns. How to Enter
Write a short poem. There is no minimum or maximum length and want to give flexibility, so there are no strict limits and "short" is up to you.
However, please keep in mind that we're very busy and don't have the time to look over many verses. A couple or few stanzas really are enough, as is a haiku.
At least two people will be judging! Your poem may be written in any way or style.
We'll select the poems that speak to us the most, and ask other staff their opinions if we need a tiebreaker.
The winner will receive the Bulbasaur Usdia, and the Charmander Lizard will be raffled among everyone else.

I'm really short,
Only four hands high,
I have no wings,
But I can fly!
I use my vines,
And crazy skills,
To swing through trees,
And mountainous hills.
The canopy is my home,
I like to swing,
I love to roam,
But up here in the green so high,
There's no one to play,
So I swing alone all day.
Still I keep to swingin' round,
And makin' a whooshing sound,
Cause one day,
I'm sure there will be,
Another swingin' pony,
Just like me!

Long ago in jungle's deep,
An usidia family was asleep,
All except the smallest one,
Who wanted only to have fun.
Out of the cave he did walk,
With his familiar he did talk,
All about where they should go,
But neither of them did know.
So they just continued on,
The family awoke to find them gone,
But there was no need to fear,
The duo was fine as they would soon hear.
Their travels took them far and wide,
And though many times they almost died,
Life was good and happy too,
It was definitely seen in a rosy hue.
